My Roman Empire is the guy who replied to every comment on the musical version for Magical Mister Mistofelees and just kept trying to push the 2019 film. ALL BECAUSE A HANDFUL OF PEOPLE SHIP HIM WITH THE RUM TUM TUGGER.

The way they tries to use "gay icon" as an insult (which they stole from a comment that was about how much *better* the musical was than the film) lives in my head 24/7

i had to euthanize Mistofelees. i was treating an unknown illness for weeks, up to the point of him refusing his favorite food. i miss him, but I'm so happy to have had him. watching him go from this:

hi guys!! i've been meaning to make this post for a long time and it's been about uh. six years now since i've been on here but i'm back now! in august of 2018 during all the crackdown on terms of use i got shadowbanned for having too many unused saved urls and by the time my blog got reinstated i had started undergrad and never came back. the tldr for the past six years- i graduated undergrad, got top surgery, started t, got REALLY into audio dramas (and still am), realized i was poly, got two perfect cats, and started grad school!

I'll answer in spirit and only pick one, though. In the 1998 film there is that moment at the start of Mister Mistofelees where Tugger lands on the beat. It's extremely satisfying to me every time.

💛Gus and Jellylorum! Even if they aren't related by blood (which I can go either way with) I find them to be adorable and have a strong bond with each other. I find the way Jelly sings about him to always be touching and sweet.

Tugger: Well, sometimes first-person feels a little too restrictive.  The Tugger felt like trying third-person omniscient today.

Mistofelees: (Snickers) And here I thought you were doing it to sound snooty.

Tugger: (Smirking) Said the all-powerful wizard to the larger and more all-powerful Tugger with a derisive air.

Mistofelees: That wasn’t derisive...!

Tugger: The wizard yelled, while the Tugger kept searching for sustenance.

Mistofelees: (Eyes roll)

And now for the next page, wherein Tugger still doesn’t do much to disprove his brother’s accusations, and Misto decides to reappear and cool things down for a second.  Probably best to listen to a cat that can shoot lightning from his paws, guys. x3

Still chugging along with these pages; I’m well into coloring the next scene by now.  I hope those that follow me for my Cats stuff (or even if there are those that don’t but are curiously reading anyhow) are actually enjoying this.  To be honest, I’ve gotten barely any feedback...the first time I linked the comic to a community of fans that I’m a part of, I got absolutely no response whatsoever.

I don’t want to whine though; more than likely I was just posting at a bad time of the day...also the fan community seems rather tight-knit and I’m a perpetually-introverted new kid that nobody knows what to make of...but still, I couldn’t help but feel more than a little disheartened, and I didn’t want to keep that inside.

But I’m still proud of my work, and proud at least to see some of my pages and art make it to towards the top of some of the tags...just gotta be patient I guess and just keep pushing my stuff out there. x3  To those of you who read, thanks, even if I don’t hear from you.  I’m bad at feedback myself, so I can’t talk, but I do appreciate everyone I watch and who watches.  It’d just be nice from time to time to know that I’m appreciated a little bit too.
