Jinbei, a whaleshark fishman, a former warlord, is having a cup of tea, enjoying the cool breeze. Being steadfast and chivalrous, he was approached by none other than Nami. Luffy's crewmate and navigator. "Nami. Well met. You seem to be in good spirits, are you not?" He greeted her politely. "How are you today?"

Robin would have laughed at the irony had she not realised that the navigator was sincere.  But yet it was clear as day - Nami believed that her heart was pure, and large, and not at all shrivelled up and darkened by the years.

She placed her hands over Nami’s own - unsure about the gesture, for touch was not something she was used to yet, but still she did so anyway.

“If you would take a moment to look at yourself, you’d realise that your heart beats louder and shines brighter than anyone.”  She paused. “The blood pressure of a large heart might be enough to fill a small lake.”

❛ Torao, ❜ the endearing nickname given by her own captain was somewhat stuck as Nami awkwardly calls Law's attention. She hesitated for a few, bit her lip, held her breath, and took in a breath before she spoke again, ❛ I need your help with... something. ❜

A deep sigh escapes the Heart captain. He wants to complain about the usage of the name that had been forced on him. But at this point, it was breath wasted as there was no arguing with Luffy. And just about whatever he did, the others were sure to copycat him. To an extent.

He cants his head toward the navigator and responds with a hum. He’d not expected the request. Her tone had caught his attention. Not the usual fiery temper, nor the bright joyful tone. She was acting quite unusual which raised his curiosity. Eyebrow quirked beneath his hat.

“Are you alright, Nami-ya? Not feeling ill are you?”

It wasn’t everyday the StrawHats could find some R&R, so docking on an island with hot springs had to be taken advantage of. The nice rocky area was clouded in a thick layer of steam, almost making each pool feel like a little oasis. The sun had just set as well, making the night air cool and quiet which paired nicely with the spring’s soothingly warm water. 

Drake flew over to the hot springs, wearing only a towel around his waist. His lean but sturdy frame had sweat drenching it, as he decided some training beforehand would make the spring water feel even better. 

As Drake walked through the mist-like steam, he could hear the laughter and chattering of Luffy and the others. He needed a few minutes of quiet before he got into shenanigans with the captain and sniper. As he found a smaller bath, Drake smiled as he was about to step in. That’s when he heard the navigator’s voice. 

Drake’s face blushed a deep shade of red as his eyes focused on the half navigator on the other side of the pool. He questioned weather he should go find a different one, but Nami seemed happy to share with him. “W-W-Well I better see for myself” he chuckled nervously before stepping in. 

A soft warmness spread through his body as all his muscles loosened. He let out a low moan, as he laid in from the waist down. “Ahhhh, this must be how Luffy feels all the time”

Brulee was just coming out of her cabin as Nami came over, congratulating her. That’s right, today was her birthday, she never really cared about it that much, but it was nice to see that others thought it would be important enough to remember. With a smile she bowed down to hug her crewmate gently.

“Thank you for thinking about me, Nami! I really appreciate it” she replied, a gentle smile appeared on her face.

Tazz relaxed against the navigator’s lap as she let out a long, drawn-out sigh before snickering at Nami’s comment, “Now what kind of Straw-hat would I be if I didn’t stir trouble?” Her snicker calms into a soft chuckle, “Really though, I didn’t make as much of a ruckus as the others would have.”

She shifted and folded her hands behind her head as she hummed contently, her eye slipping shut as she took in the peaceful moment, “That being said, I don’t think I could ever get enough of these calm moments...”

"Yes, I remember. Big Mom's army were a threat to us, so we had to escape. As for your question....hmm.....have you tried it first?"

That woman had him whipped for the longest time before he grew something of a spine.

Doflamingo gwaffs rythimically, and woman massaging lotion onto his neck joins in with her own haughty laugh.  He waves her away by handing her his drink, his grin catty.

“I can arrange for that easily enough; what do you like? Men or women? Young or old? You’ll have their devoted company within the hour, if you don’t mind seconds, you may have some of my own.”

After sailing through a freak storm , with everybody all drenched and exhausted , Nami turns to him . Her weariness taking over as she rounds her arms around his neck in a tired and relieved embrace .

Nami’s hold was returned with equal parts appreciation and relief. He slumped, head resting against her shoulder and arms wrapped tight around her middle. She was lifted from the deck, her whole body squeezed against his. Not so tight that he would steal her breath away, but not so loosely that she would slip from his grasp.

“You did a wonderful job, Nami-san. You can rest now.” To escape a storm that severe, it required a team operating the whole of the ship in unison. But without the brains behind them, without Nami, they would be hopelessly lost. If it weren’t for her, he was certain they would be sea king food. “We can handle the clean up.”

Within all the brewing chaos, despite being clothed differently, Nami cannot possibly mistake their ( seemingly ) long lost green-haired swordsman. ❛ Zoro !! ❜

It’s been damn some time since he listened to his own name in such fashion and not under a fake alias, especially by the voice who belonged to no one else but the navigator of the crew.

He has to stand still for a moment in order to double check, his eye narrowing in mild disbelief — if Nami is here safe and sound then everyone else probably is as well.

What a relief.
