What is a CT scan?
A CT scan, or computed tomography scan, is a medical imaging procedure that uses X-rays to create detailed images of the inside of the body. CT scans can be used to diagnose a wide range of medical conditions, including cancer, heart disease, stroke, and bone fractures.
How does a CT scan work?
During a CT scan, you will lie on a table that moves through a large, ring-shaped machine. The machine takes a series of X-ray images from different angles. A computer then combines these images to create cross-sectional views of your body.
What to expect during a CT scan
A CT scan is a painless procedure. However, you may feel some discomfort if you have to lie still for an extended period of time. You may also be given a contrast dye to help the radiologist see certain structures more clearly.
Benefits of a CT scan
CT scans offer a number of benefits, including:
They are non-invasive, meaning that there is no need for surgery.
They are relatively quick and easy to perform.
They can provide detailed images of the inside of the body, including bones, soft tissues, and blood vessels.
They can be used to diagnose a wide range of medical conditions.

Rao's Score test  In Aurangabad ---an alternative to Likelihood Ratio and Wald tests
All three tests evaluate the models’ fit using the likelihood that they will be compared. This method is tested in the Prabhadevi Diagnostic center. Given the parameter estimations, the likelihood is the likelihood that the data will occur. A model’s objective is to identify parameter (coefficient) values that maximize the likelihood function or to identify the set of parameter estimates that maximize the likelihood that the data are accurate. The likelihood log is frequently used in procedures instead of the probability itself since it is more user-friendly. A better-fitting model is indicated by a greater value for the log-likelihood (i.e., the log of the likelihood), which is always negative and closer to zero. The logistic regression model used in the aforementioned example is only one example of how these tests might be used. The model includes the likelihood function. Be aware that likelihood functions exist for all models, including those like basic least squares regression for which statistical software does not normally display a likelihood or a log-likelihood. As was already stated, the likelihood depends on both the data and the coefficient estimations. Since the data cannot be changed because they are fixed, one must adjust the estimations of the coefficients to increase the likelihood (likelihood). Different parameter estimations or sets of estimates result in varying likelihood estimates. The figure below displays the changes in the likelihood value for a change in a single parameter as an arch or curve (a). Values for an are plotted on the x-axis, and the likelihood at each possible value of an is shown on the y-axis. Most models include multiple parameters, however, if the values of all the other model coefficients are kept constant, changes in a single parameter can be Presented a will display a comparable image. The value of a that maximizes the likelihood is indicated by the vertical line.
The Wald analysis
The advantage of the Wald test over the LR test is that it only calls for estimating one model. The null hypothesis that a set of parameters is equal to a value is tested by the Wald test. The null hypothesis in the model under investigation is that the two relevant coefficients are both simultaneously equal to zero. If the test fails to disprove the null hypothesis, it is possible that removing the variables from the model won’t significantly impair its ability to fit data. This is because a predictor with a very small coefficient compared to its standard error is typically not contributing much to the dependent variable’s prediction. A Wald test’s formula is a little more complex than the formula for the. so we won’t write it out here for the LR test (see Fox, 1997, p. 569, or other regression texts if you are interested). Similar to the hypothesis tests that are commonly printed in regression output, this test measures how far the estimated parameters are from zero (or any other value under the null hypothesis) in standard errors. The Wald test differs from tests printed in regression output in that it can be used to simultaneously test many parameters, whereas tests printed in regression output normally only test one parameter at a time.

What is Ultrasonography or Ultrasound?
Ultrasonography stands for an ultrasound. It is a technique
used in hospitals to evaluate the patient's blood flow, heart circulation, and lung function. Also, it can
detect tumors, fertility problems, and other conditions
affecting a person's health.
Ultrasound is a medical technique that is used to detect
and treat a wide range of disorders. Ultrasound imaging
uses high-frequency sound waves to produce an image of
the internal organs, tissues and bones, muscles, and blood
vessels. It is a safe, non-invasive procedure that may be
performed in the physician's office near your home. Or/
Ultrasonography is the technique of using high-frequency
sound waves to make an image on a monitor. It requires
that a patient lie still and receive treatment in an
examination room.
Prenatal ultrasound images.
Ultrasonography showed the brain of a normal
fetus in the sagittal section (a1) and in the coronal section
(a2).
The fetus is 12 weeks gestation. (b)
Ultrasonography at 12th + 3 weeks of gestation of
the brain of the fetus proband in case 1, in sagittal
section. An apical hypoechoic bulge about 2.2 ×
1.6 cm covered with the entire envelope (occipital
encephalocele?), incomplete skull, and mixed
intracranial construction can be observed.
Applications of Ultrasonography or
Ultrasound.
Ultrasonography is a valuable tool for
diagnosis and monitoring of women's
health.
Ultrasound uses high-frequency sound
waves to produce an image that
shows the internal structure or internal
organs, or both.
It has been used in obstetrics for
many years and also has a role in
sports medicine as well as overall
health monitoring.
Ultrasound can be used to diagnose
and treat a wide range of conditions.
Ultrasound uses high-frequency sound
waves to create and reflect echoes
that enable detection of acoustic
shadows, which are created as the
sound waves are reflected off internal
structures.
Digital imaging can be used to
enhance and improve both visual
inspection of ultrasound images and
visualization of injuries, by digitally
processing images obtained from
conventional ultrasound machines.
Application of high-frequency acoustic
radiation is a powerful method for
obtaining very accurate and rapid
scans of small samples.
Ultrasound is a modality that is used in
human medicine and ultrasonography
is one of the most important news
technologies in modern medicine,
enabling us to diagnose and treat a
host of diseases with remarkable
precision.
The main features of the ultrasound
include, but are not limited to, it's high
effectiveness and accuracy, low cost
and simple setup.
Conclusion:
Ultrasound provides a unique method for
evaluating soft tissue of the chest, abdomen
and pelvis. The frequencies used in the present
the study was relatively low and the images
obtained limited by the technique and
equipment used. This limits ultrasonographic
examination of atherosclerosis in white blood
cells and non-laminae vascular lesions,
including fibroelastosis and serpiginous
vasculitis. However, we conclude that
ultrasonographic examination is as useful as
any other method for diagnosing disease
the process at this time.

What Is A Cone Beam CT Scan? Everything You Should Know About CBCT
A cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) scan is a type of X-ray that produces three-dimensional (3D) images of your teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways, and bones.
They are often used in cases where two-dimensional X-rays are not sufficient, as in the placement of dental implants.
CBCT scans show more detail than traditional X-rays, and they can be used to diagnose and treat a variety of dental conditions. For example, CBCT scans can be used to locate impacted teeth, identify dental abnormalities, and plan for dental surgery.
1. What is CBCT?
CBCT stands for cone beam computed tomography. It is an advanced dental X-ray technique used to generate 3D images of dental structures, soft tissues, nerve pathways, and bone in a single scan.
CBCT technology creates cross-sectional images using cone-shaped X-ray beams and digital geometry processing. These 3D images can then be viewed from any plane, which makes CBCT a versatile tool for a variety of applications.
The image itself provides the dentist with the exact location of various structures within the jaw including nerve canals, sinus cavities, tumors, and impacted teeth.
2. Benefits of CBCT.
A low-dose x-ray is used to capture the images.
The scan is quick and painless.
Improved treatment plans for root canal procedures
Surgical placement of dental implants can be improved.
CBCT can be used to improve orthodontic treatment.
The scan provides a 3D image of the teeth and jawbone.
A CBCT scan provides invaluable information regarding the health of a patient's teeth, jaws, and sinuses.
3. How Does a Cone Beam CT Scan (CBCT) Work?
With CBCT, a patient is revolved around an X-ray beam that has the shape of a cone. To provide equivalent images at a lesser cost, the dental cone beam CT scan was developed. A single projection image is referred to as a "basis" image.
The scan creates precise images of the bones and is generally used to inspect the teeth, nasal cavity, sinuses, bony structures of the face, and dentition. CBCT scans, in contrast to conventional CT scans, do not, particularly when evaluating soft tissue structures like muscles, lymph nodes, glands, and nerves, provide complete diagnostic information. The dental doctor now has an imaging modality that can be utilized to build a 3-D image of the mouth.
Image accuracy:
As opposed to the anisotropic voxels found in traditional CT, CBCT machines produce isotropic voxels, which are equal in all three proportions. CBCT produces sub-millimeter resolution ranging from 0.4 mm to as low as 0.09 mm, whereas CT voxel surfaces can be as small as 0.625 mm square but often have depths of between 1-2 mm. For measurements in oral and maxillofacial applications, CBCT's sub-millimeter resolution is accurate enough to meet the need for the precision necessary for orthodontic analysis and implant site assessment.
CONCLUSION:
This research focused on the fundamentals and potential applications of CBCT in the evaluation of various oral and maxillofacial issues. Until now, 2D imaging has successfully aided dentistry, and it will undoubtedly continue to do so in the near future. CBCT imaging overcame the limitations of 2D imaging by providing doctors with images with the sub-millimeter resolution, high quality, quick scanning, and minimal radiation exposure. Both the patient and the dentist will gain from the replacement of practice-based guess estimates with this device, which has become a dental assistant. The potential for additional applications is enormous and requires investigation from dental procedure diagnostics to image guidance.
