Okay, I love that this whole thing began cuz some Sinner in Hell couldn't let go of some really stupid & petty fandom drama. (Emberlynn was probably only a high schooler when she was into that "problematic" ship.)

But I also feel like this is an important solo experience for Blitzø in "I need to vet my clients better."

I'm not saying he "deserved" this uncomfortable work experience cuz, much as I love Emberlynn, girl has a huge problem respecting boundaries.

Like, honey, I'd be excited to meet a real flesh-and-blood demon, too, especially if he's a sexy short king of a lizard man. But if he ain't into it he ain't into it.

But even with that in mind, Blitz said it himself:

I'm like, "Hold on. Dude, it's YOUR business. You CAN turn down clients if they're being unreasonable."

Which is why I'm going with the notion that this was a bad business decision on his part.

Again, I'm not trying to blame him for everything here. Blitzø having bad judgement is a part of his character, & it probably would've gone south even if he had M&M in tow.

(Imagine how funny that would've been, her reaction to THREE real demons that her fan merch pendant shields her from.)

But I love that there is a little bit of cartoon karma at work in the tradition of the old Chuck Jones shorts. Daffy Duck got greedy when he saw the gold in the cave, so he's gonna get walloped by the guard.

Not to mention this is also a harsh lesson that a lot of freelancers have to learn, often through experience. If a client or assignment looks suspicious, they probably are. No matter how good the money looks, it's not worth the headache or the mental & emotional burnout.

If nothing else, this is a cartoon comedy scenario that teaches us all a very important lesson:

Don't get involved in fandom drama. Ever.

I'm not gonna be doing a lot of helluva boss or hazbin hotel posting but:

Emberlynn Pinkle did nothing wrong

It's not her fault that Blitzø was uncomfortable for so long. Despite his facial expressions and tone conveying his discomfort, Ember didn't pick up on them. That's not her fault! It is not her fault that she doesn't read tone or facial expressions. His words were either not there or playing into it so he could kill her like he was paid to, so she took that as confirmation of her fantasy and was never corrected. Blitzø made the decision to not say anything about Emberlynn making him uncomfortable because he wanted to get his job done and just bear through it.

Idk maybe it's just because I'm of the opinion that, if a neurodivergent person upsets a neurotypical person accidentally because they missed a social cue, it's the *neurotypical* who needs to apologize for using a social cue instead of communicating in a way the neurodivergent person could understand. But I just don't see how Emberlynn is in the wrong for simply being oblivious

Also, she's a monster fucker who was just watching romance anime and is clearly horny of course she's gonna encounter a real demon and start thinking about her fantasies that she didn't think were possible.

Plus I think people are overreacting saying she's a stalker. She found Blitzø's billboard and decided to stop by and say hello, once. Because she put herself under the impression he loved her and she wasn't corrected. That's not that bad
