I’m starting to seeing lot of comparison obsessed gags for Yuri in recent chapters.

But here is what Yuri bought to Anya ( which clearly is Loid daughter and person he currently hated) without Yor wishes to.

Yuri was bad mouthed yes, but he does care for Forgers deeply. He’s like Loid in beginning in the progress to open mind about having a new family due to all the lost of their parents.

Yuri was still too young and being headstrong to accept. But action does acts faster then speech. It was proven following in old chapters and it’s a small detail we can see that in him.

In bus jacking arc, Yuri was rushed to asking his boss when he heard about Anya situation was kidnapping right away although his group trying to hiding from him. He did used for Yor excuse to made it “ For the mission” just like Loid to motivate him but these 1st panel can show how worry he is. And he does care for the kids to the point breaking the rules, brush out orders from the group and almost risked his life.

And here Yor was requesting Yuri to tutoring Anya and at 1st he was not motivated to do so but after Anya said she does want to get good grade for making Yor happy it’s moved him and trying to giving him a motivation to study.

This is from the light novel but Yor was requesting to Yuri babysitting Anya and he did taking her to a career center to having fun with her.

Idk what direction they'll go now, with Kevin and Cody �� On their own or potentially with war games? Honestly in a way I'd rather them not get involved. Personally I don't see why.

Besides, pretty sure Cody wants to avenge his man Randy.

Cody already had his match, teaming with Roman against Solo and Jacob. They won. He beat Solo, he proved his point, end of story. There's no need to drag it on any further.

On the other hand, as some people have pointed out, Kevin has history with them. But then again (playing devil's advocate) he finished with the Bloodline when they won the tag belts - he said he was completely done with them, numerous times. Wanting nothing to do with them. Even when Sami kept trying to get involved with Jey. Kevin constantly said he didn't want anything to do with it, that he was done. That he has moved on. So. Based on that. I don't see why he should get dragged back into it again. Everyone is saying he's got a long 4 year history. Exactly. So give the man a break. It doesn't need to be year 5.

@thatscarletflycatcher @brambleberrycottage I would love to talk more about Cranford, but I've been having trouble coming up with anything more eloquent than "it's Good." Because it IS.

I'm really glad it seemed to be a hit with our book club (mainly composed of my family + one other). Multiple people mentioned specifically that for a while they felt like it wasn't going anywhere in particular (which was fine) but then it DID! I think everyone, rightfully, loved Miss Matty. There were also a lot of laughs about the funny parts of the book, especially the hosting/manners-related humor.

Personally I had a pretty good idea of the book's virtues going in (which may be why I had a hard time coming up with commentary - you guys know all this already! I heard it here first! :P). But I loved the pathos and the humor and... really, the tenderness for little, quiet lives, that can acknowledge their ridiculousness and obscurity and seeming futility but still paint them with love and dignity.

The quiet tragedies are heartbreaking - but so are the kindnesses. These ladies are all absurd sometimes - because they're human. It's just. It's very much about human dignity and goodness and the worth of every human life even at its pettiest.

So I just finished The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson and was looking up some other people's reviews and analysis to bounce my ideas off of and I found these two. Random fuckening dudes. With such gems as:

• "Shirley Jackson is an okay writer" and the opening paragraph is "not bad"

• There is SOME good writing in the book

• The end fizzles out, as all Shirley Jackson's work does

• There's too much unnecessary content, like the characters talking to each other

• Eleanor came there to disguise herself and kills herself when she's found out

• Eleanor finds something about herself is so unappealing that she kills herself so she can be special

• "The ending needed to be executed better"

• "Why is she afraid at the end??"

HELLO?? DID YOU TWO READ THE BOOK? DID YOU COMPLETE 10TH GRADE ENGLISH?? ARE YOU BOYS FUCKING KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW?

Those glass shard thingies that you have to pull out the right way! Or "stuck draggables" as I call them. The implementation is messy, but it works. Fun fact: Because of how the half-hidden aspect of them works, I can't place them too close together or else one can reveal the hidden half of the other. Well, I CAN put them close, I just have to mess with the settings. Anyway, it works! Barely!
