I love when Nami is the gag character, the jokes are always so fun. Her reactions are so realistic and they’re such a fun reminder of how absurd some of these situations are. She doesn’t get a lot of physical comedy, but this heel-turn to come stalking right back is great.

kinda wild sanji defeating the unluckies in little garden is one of the quickest early fights (against like actual named threats/enemies) and probably the earliest defeat that’s explicitly like “those dudes are dead”

like I know they apparently show up in a cover story at a later date but he straight up snapped that birds neck. he smashed that otter’s skull in. there’s blood on the walls and we never see them again in story

Finally finished my most ambitious Hatchetfield project yet. Every box in the border represents a different Nightmare Time, as well as Hey Melissa, Trail to Oregon, Workin’ Boys, the BBQ monologues and Peanuts the Hatchetfield Pocket Squirrel. The three large boxes at the bottom represent the three main musicals. It’s 18x24” and made with sharpie :]

I remain so very curious about the backstory on the Unluckies.

I know, I know, it’s One Piece. Don’t think about it too much. But listen, this blog is literally all about thinking too much about One Piece so it will happen again.

Who recruited these two? Were they wild animals? Were they pets? Were they recruited because they could do stuff like this or were they trained specifically for this purpose? They can apparently communicate with humans, since they ratted out their former colleagues to the Marines at one point.

Where do you even get clam shell blades like that??

I've been listening to Nightmare Time while working, and after "The Witch in the web" I just had to draw some of the girls. I really want to draw more of Hatchetfield, they got a strange grip on my heart <3
