"Educate girl, educate a nation" When Miss Finland Paula Joukanen was a little girl with red hair, she admired and played that she was Little My from famous Moomin Character who also has red hair, this strong female fairy tale character gave Paula the confidence that she can also achieve what she wants if she works hard. The characters reflect her courage, guts and independence, that was needed of her own journey from being bed ridden at age of 16 to the stage of 72nd Miss Universe. This is a costume that reflects little Paula and was inspired by these fairy tale characters. This Costume is a tribute to all the children of the world. You should never forget the inner child who believes that you can achieve anything in this world. The red color of the suit reflects courage and strength.Miss Finland wants to send a message with a costume inspired by these Scandinavian fairy tale characters that all girls in this world should have the right to childhood and study
