Sometimes in kpop fans don't want to accept they could be saying something suggestive or at least out of the regular lyrics so maybe they were in denial 💕 or they simply misheard lmao 💀 but either way its doll and i truly have no idea how it relates to the song 🤨

first, this is a misheard lyric from a kpop song (miroh by skz) lots of people misheard it but no one else heard 'bakery snake' that i know of anyways

second, Bakery Snake is also an oc of mine, a blue glowing snake that looks like it's made of toblerone and it works in a bakery! it's not of this world, the owners found it near the garbage and they took it in it communicates through pictures and sharing emotions it helps in the family bakery and all the regulars are familiar with it + they love it very much :D

5 really cool Korean songs that I like a lot!

Okay, last time I did North Carolinan musicians. This time I want to share five of my favorite Korean songs! :)

Azalea, by Rolling Quartz.

Rolling Quartz is an all female Korean rock band and all of their songs rock and if you like this one you should look up their other stuff. This was my introduction to them and it's awesome and good. It's based on a famous poem from the occupation period by Kim So-wol. A page about translating the poem: Azalea translation

Done For Me, by Punch.

A beautiful song from the soundtrack of Hotel Del Luna, a classic kdrama. IU played the main female character, and I've heard the amazing outfits came from her personal collection.

Round and Round, by Heize

Gotta have this most iconic of songs from the most iconic of kdramas. If you're going to watch kdramas made after 2016, you have to watch Goblin. There are so many references to this drama in the shows made after it. For a reason, as you can see in the scenes in the video.

There are even references to this song in other dramas - we were watching another drama where the main male character was a radio show host and there were a few other Goblin references in the episode and then a caller to his show used the username roundandround.

Fire, by BTS

Yeah I know, but I figure I should put at least one BTS song on here and this one is my favorite. Oooh also another boy band favorite as a bonus: Thunderous, by Stray Kids.

Up, by Hajin

Inspector Koo is one of the lesser known dramas in our top five, and I love this song from it. Plus I figure we could all use a little inspiration to get up and keep fighting right now.

The drama is awesome - it's about an older female police detective going after a young female serial killer. I highly recommend it. :)

The spousal person got involved in this since hallyu in general is his special interest and he stood here and listened to and watched a few other videos with me and suggested some other songs, but we'll go with these five for now. One bonus one though!

Freak Show, by Jeon Soyeon

From the soundtrack of another of our top five dramas, From Now On Showtime. :) Also it's written and sung by the leader of (G)I-DLE, the spousal person's favorite kpop group. I always misheard the lyrics as "Electric bill got me all excited" so that's an in-joke we have now. :)

Oh, the spousal person also wanted me to include this (G)I-DLE song: Wife.

The Grace - One More Time, Oay?

Okay… Phew. So let’s see. I always begin by reading a group’s Wikipedia article. From Wikipedia: “The Grace … is a South Korean a cappella group”. So here I am, expecting an album that is at least largely a cappella. And instead, we get a single a cappella track, which is a cover. And granted, it’s the highlight of the album, but why couldn’t we get more than that? Really makes me want to check out their later stuff. Actually, I might just do this, because this album was really disappointing. Slow jams, and the fast ones weren’t too interesting either. Maybe, since this was their first album, they eventually grow into an a cappella group? 6.8 which is about right, maybe even a bit high.

Okay no I just did some looking and Dancing Queen appears to be the only a cappella thing they’ve ever released?? Neither of their Japanese albums have “a cappella” listed as a genre, and… Okay wait let me page through a japanese album of theirs.

Okay yeah, I just went through Dear… and there’s nothing a cappella on there either. Maybe the subunit then??

An SM music video with 2.4M views, never thought I’d see the day. Definitely not a cappella

Just checked a few live performances. They don’t do any of their own songs a cappella, but they do “Dancing Queen” and also “Can’t Help Falling In Love” in multiple performances. There’s also several other one-offs. So i guess they performed covers live a cappella, but all of their own songs had instrumentation.

All I’m saying is that if they had filled an album with a cappella covers, I would’ve enjoyed that way more than an album full of slow jams.
