Finally finished some Magolor Gijinka refs. Specifically the version of him I draw the most (because it’s the most self indulgent while still being canon accurate). I tried to make the dream gear color version still accurate to how he looks which proved a struggle for last night 2 am brain me but still. Anyways I’m off to do whatever else! Day 2: Curiosity / Mirrored

'Sometimes I wonder about your reflection...'

Mirror counterparts! I swear this isn't going to just be alternate versions of MariPav Marx and Magolor. I based them off their soul forms, Marx Soul and Magolor EX.

Shadow Mags's outfit is a lot closer to Hyness's and his face is much more covered. He is a lot more reclusive and closed off. Just like OG Magolor, Shadow Mags lost his legs, but he has two prosthetics and uses forearm crutches to get by. I image the pain is more intense since he's constantly putting pressure on them. Dark Marx leans much more into his monstrous side than OG Marx. Instead of (metaphorically) wishing to no longer be a monster, he wished for the world to fear him. He still wished on the clockwork star, but instead was quicker on the up take for control his new powers. He had to be or risk dying an excruciating death. I don't think Shadow Magolor and Dark Marx would really get along

Wait. I just realized all the first prompts start with C and all the second ones start with M. I feel like I'm missing something, MC, CM... M is probably Magolor or Marx, but C is... Maybe it's Clown and Mage?

So... Bandana, Galacta and Magolor's mirror counterparts!

Bounty Hunter Waddle Dee (Hunter for short) is a, well, bounty hunter that eventually joins Skirby, DMK and ShaDDD on their own weird adventures that mainly amount to "Unfuck mirror Dreamland".

Eclipsa is a powerful mage from a long time ago, who was sealed by the ancients for being a pain in their butts, and the gang eventually free her by accident (she decides to help them with their goal out of gratitude).

Dull Magolor is a bit of a coward, who went to hide on Dreamland with his Lor... only for the ship to almost immediately be hijacked/stolen by the Mirror Gang for their own purpose, and they initially keep him around because he's the only one that can run maintenance on it.

I rememeber i did this art two years ago for the 30th anniversary of kirby,,I still absolutly it i remember it took me ALOT to finish,i may can do better nowadays but i enjoy how pure cute it is<3

Sadly i deleted the file on ibis paint so i can't show the speedpaint but thankfully i has the pic saved in all the good quality :'3

Also if i recall i based this drawing on the second opening of the jp anime that is so joyfull<3

Can't wait for post these baddies...

1st Day: Dream. I imagined a mini Bibby sleeping, then in their dream he saw Nightmare again but in a status that him isn't powerful anymore and now he's just a wondering soul who lives in the dream world.

2nd Day: Revenge. I Initially drew a hella cool scene, but after I analyzed my own drawing, I thought it was more like an AU so I made this new one based on Revenge of the King.

3rd Day: Song. When I read the prompt, I instantly thought in the song that Susanna sings to her father, but for more originality I drew her with a beautiful dress, like if she was in a restaurant thing, presenting her talent to the guests.

4th Day: Headcanon (TW: mental illness, abandonment, disorder mentioned)

My more personal headcanon is... Well, Magolor is Hyness' son, but Hyness, suffering from schizophrenia, unconscious, abandoned his son when he was a kid. Mago for this trauma, he developed a mythomaniac disorder. But several years later, no one recognizes each other.

5th Day: Royalty. This is my favorite one I've made!! I loved a lot how they both look, look so... Cool, I don't know how to describe how much I liked the result. Really I did this drawing? Ok no...

I thought something about (Take it as a HC). In reality, they were a couple/marriage. It's just... The power (and beauty) went to Sectonia's head, forgetting her past and what she experienced with her closest person, Taranza. But he never stopped to love her despite her drastic change.

6th Day: Ancient. I had a minimum crisis because, I didn't have any idea to do this one, but I searched in the wiki something related to ancient things and there was Nova...

7th Day: Ability. I didn't know what to do in these, but I asked my boyfriend about his favorite ability and he said the poisoning one, so what occurred to me draw it but with the doctor one, like contrasting personalities (There's a very very very small reference ;]).

8th Day: Phantom. I love to draw Dedede, that's all. Well, it occurred to me because when I was reading the prompts, I remembered the phantom guys from Forgot💀 land (Lovely game, I've been playing it and I loved it). I found it interesting to use these neon colors on him.

9th Day: Magic. I love top-hat fellas, more than you could imagine.

I started late, I delay a lot for some of these, and I got a creative block in the 10th day, but I hope can finish this thingtober or at least overcome the 20th day.

Tragically, Tumblr doesn't allow enough options to include every game, so Dream Land 1 was removed </3 (and tragically I couldn't include an option for the spinoffs either </3 )

Back then, I did a whole ass character bio series called Meet the Cast. You see, I would've done so these days, but my brain is short-circuiting and wants to beg for my death.

So instead, please, have some character refs and art of some folks' designs in this TU. While a bunch of these are much older, they still hold up - at least, until I decided to renew them for whatever reason. Ordered based on their time of appearance as well (and for now, I'm restricting it up to Season 1 - this means all games and events up to Planet Robobot). Want to draw them?
