Jakov and Eva always faced away. Their bodies melting into each other and the constant affection. The camera focused on them and Lovro being the afterthought, the outsider, the third wheel. But he has feelings for Jakov. That desire for romance that feels so close yet so far.

Jakov and Lovro are always off with each other. One person following the other. Lovro walks off the path and Jakov goes to follow. Lovro jumps into the waters; Jakov does the same. They play video games together and go to music events. The trailer showed us that Eva and Sara used to do that. They played music together; they swam. But now that’s gone. And Eva is just reminded of that emptiness every time she sees the boys.

Can I rant about Stratt and Ryland? I'm gonna rant about Stratt and Ryland.

These two drive me up the fucking WALL ok they need each other but they are soooo different that they just repell each other like magnets but they're also opposite sides of the same coin and they are SO CLOSE in SO MANY WAYS NONE OF WHICH ARE CONVENTIONAL

And it's also the small shit like literally everyone thinking that Stratt and Ryland had ~a thing~ going on because of how attached to the hip they are and also most people thinking that Ryland is the second in command like the guy that proposed the beetles prototypes and the fact that Ryland remembered his WHOLE ASS NAME from a MEMORY of EVA STRATT INQUIRING ABOUT HIM AND HOW HE EVEN CALLS HIMSELF HER TEST DOG JUST IKSEOTEOTEOYKTSKGSOTESIT

Horrible thought I just had (and by "just" I mean on Wednesday lol) but maybe the reason Wolfgang is always so agreeable and passive, and continues to remain composed and soft-spoken even when clearly annoyed/frustrated with or scolding someone rather than get expressively angry, is because lashing out and potentially hurting someone by doing so reminds him too much of what his dad used to do 🙃
