Recipe for Chayote Squash Side Dish A favorite with Caribbean and Louisiana cooks, the mild flavor of the plump, pear-shaped mirliton squash makes it a natural for vegetable side dishes. 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, ground black pepper to taste, 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 chayote squash cut into 1/2-inch strips, 1 clove garlic minced, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon white sugar

The kazoo - a useless insight.
For very important scientific reasons, this morning I woke up and found out that playing the kazoo isnât actually as easy as it seems.
My first thought about it was âAw, how talentedâ referring to you-know-who, but letâs delve into some details. I have collected my favorite curiosities down here for you:
You donât just blow into the kazoo, neither you âhmmmâ into it. You have to actually sing into it to make it work. Sounds like an effort to me.
The end you have to sing in is the flat one, not the pointy one.
Now, my favorite part. These are some of the syllables identified on Wikipedia to change notes on the kazoo: doo, too, who, rrrrr or brrr. ârrrrr or brrrâ, understand?
Before Papa - but not as good as him - the kazoo was used by Frank Zappa, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, and also Rammstein. Apparently, no pop singer had the same steel balls to use the kazoo in their songs. This makes it a very badass instrument, if you ask me.
In 2011, âAt the Royal Albert Hall, 3.910 kazooists played Wagner's Ride of the Valkyriesâ. Just epic.
The kazoo is strictly related to the PARTY HORN - which is not an instrument - and the Eunuch flute (Mirlitone). And about the Eunuch flute, âthe Creole composer, Edmond DĂ©dĂ© wrote MĂ©phisto MasquĂ© for grand orchestra and a fanfare of Mirlitone Instrumentsâ. The devil is always around the corner here.
Papa played a kazoo with a square filter, instead of the more common round one. I hoped to find something interesting about it but honestly no, it is just that. The bravest of you will find a connection with Square Hammer, I just know it.
As a bonus, Iâd like to remind you that Papa had a professional, tiny kazoo stand for his precious instrument.

Y'all gotta stop saying that the kids maps are easy 13ks because a lot of the time they're really not
Maybe the short length means they're easier to grind, takes less time to practice/play over and over, but short time also means smaller move count, which means you have to nearly full-perfect it to get a 13000+. This is a problem for slower songs and other super easy songs too like Tusa!!
Believe me I speak from experience...we do not speak of Dance Of The Mirlitons or Here Comes The Spy in this house

I bought squash (native to central Mexico) known as Choko, Chayote or Mirliton and placed them in a dark corner of my kitchen counter. They sprouted within a few weeks! The next step is to plant them.

Trick or treat! đđ»
I answer the door dressed as music box ballerina. I do a series of perfect pirouettes, whistling La Danse des Mirlitons, and throwing multicoloured sweets at you on each go-round.
