I don’t think it was for shock value tho, I think the actress wanted to leave and they had to write something fast, they didn’t even show the actress face in the episode most likely because the actress left before they started filming it. I hate it that it was suicide tho, especially because of a man, because she thought Azat was gonna divorce her ������

Oh man, I actually meant the baby??? (unless I misunderstood and the baby is not dead), I thought that felt particulary cruel and coming out of nowhere. I’m glad Elif is gone tbh she bored me. Like you, I’m angry the whole reasoning was that she was sad a man was leaving her, especially cause it feels both soooooo tone deaf and also, why place that guilt on Azat? He’s one of our less villanous toxic characters. In fact he’s one of our best well meaning characters, wtf, to make room for Azat and Gonul? To give Miran some reason to hate Azat? Ew, nope.

But also, like I said, Elif absolutely bored me, her love for Azat always felt like, why???, always so damn SAD, and well if the actress wanted to leave and Coronavirus limited their number of actors well then... could’ve just made it an accident tho. Or have her travel somewhere to study and divorce Azat long distance. Or have her travel away to escape her toxic grandma and then divorce by distance. Anyways. I still liked the ep enough. Obvs they had to had less characters but I loved so much ReyMir and Reyyan was gold <3
