An update on both houses: the cherry blossom trees sprouted around the first house I built yay! And I started adding some polished diorite to the second house and I'm not mad at that decision at all

i'm rewatching impulse's third life, and there's something so sad about how the little swamp group was divided by the end of the season. they give me the vibe of a coming of age movie about three guys who were very close friends slowly being drifted away from each other by the forming war. with etho joining dogwarts, tango joining the crastle, and impulse joining dogwarts only to betray them. honestly, that is part of the beauty of third life as a whole. everyone remembers it being a war-based season, but it slowly builds up until suddenly everyone must pick sides and loyalties. it is just so tragic that the swamp people didn't separate by a fight or a betrayal, they just grew out of their white wool castle

Big rebellion au infodump ahead:

Slowly fleshing out who all is in the rebellion in my au

Dark, Freedom, and gold obviously

But I think I'm going to add in the three sticks from the minrcraft booth (Jade, Turquoise, and Tiffany if I'm remembering what I named them correctly). My current train of thought is those three help gold escape minecraft, but golds newfound powers don't take hold until they escape. Which unleashes a huge outburst of energy which would attract the rocket agency. And by extentention the rebellion, in which dark comes to the rescue

And by dark comes to the rescue, I mean dark takes off with no warning to Freedom.

The first month or so of dark first being brought to the rebellion was rough. He didn't trust anyone and was generally hostile, but didn't have the strength to fight. It was a slow up hill battle trying to convince dark he's safe and they want to help him and others like him.

I could be mean and say that maybe the scar I gave Freedom on his face is because of dark

Dark immediately feels awful and is hit with a wave of guilt

Which is a first for him. Usually the guilt comes after the consequences
