I frankly do not make enough content for my polyship. So, I thought I’d do a little something for them since it’s been a while since the last time. They have a very interesting dynamic. All them are capable of tormenting each other, but there is a certain quality to the way they do it that makes it... well, fun. Judas is one of the very few people who can get underneath Saeyoung’s skin and not pay for it with his life. Their relationship is very “You won’t do that, coward,” and “You bet?” We gotta love enemies to lovers.
Whereas, Minji and Saeyoung is that playful kind of love that makes you laugh every time. They pinch and pull at each other, knowing the limits of how far they can go before it’s too much. It’s like your first love that never leaves that stage of honeymooning.

A Night Out
A Saeran x MC Mystic Messenger one shot fanfiction
Word count: 4470
----
MC's friends invite her and Saeran out for a night of dancing and drink at a local club. The night goes somewhat smoothly until Saeran finds MC on the receiving end of some unwanted attention.
Remember the version of Saeran we get at the end of day 9? The one that's not Ray, or the good end Saeran but not quite the Suit! Saeran MC had been dealing with either? I wanted to explore that version of Saeran a little more. He's still rough, he doesn't know how this stuff works, he doesn't know how to be soft but he greatly regrets what he did to MC and knows he will do anything to protect her. Whether that means staying away from her as he promises in the route or in this case, coming to her rescue.
This fic is written in the same "universe" and with the same characters as my fic "First Impressions" but can be read as a standalone work.

---
I totally forgot to cross post this here the other day.
I took a break from my multi-chapter fics to finally get this idea that's been in my head forever down on paper -er- screen? It ended up taking longer and being longer than I thought it would. I really hope you enjoy it! -- MC sits idly at her and Saeran’s kitchen table, sipping her morning coffee and catching up on both the RFA chatroom logs and the group chat she has with her friends from before the RFA. The RFA seems up to the usual, Jumin and Jaehee are on their way to work, Zen’s already back from his morning run and Seven, Jihyun and Yoosung have yet to appear - probably sleeping in a bit. As for Saeran, he ran out to the store after realizing he was missing an ingredient for breakfast and even though MC insisted it was ok he, of course, had to keep his promise of crepes for breakfast he had made her the night before.
She switches to her other friends’ group chat, which seems to be a little busier.
Minji: “Work is kicking my ass this week. I could really use a night out.”
Youngmi: “Friday? The old club? Jinwo you in? Help your girl de-stress?”
Jinwo: “Sounds good’
Youngmi: “MC? You and Saeran in?”
MC stares at her screen apprehensively as she takes another sip of coffee.
MC: “Idk guys, it’s been a loooong time since I’ve been out like that.”
Youngmi: “Yea, ok so even more reason to go.”
MC: “I’ll have to see what Saeran says when he gets home, I doubt he’s ever been to a club.”
Jinwo: “You know that guy would do anything for you! I’m sure he’d be willing to give it a shot.”
“Ya got me there,” MC says aloud to no one while typing her response.
MC: “I’ll let you guys know.”
MC sighs into her coffee, contemplating. It’s not that she doesn’t want to go out with her friends and Saeran, she does. In fact, she’d love to dance the night away with some of her favorite people and especially with Saeran. But, she’s not sure if he’d be up for all the noise, the people, the loud music. She understands how intimidating that could be for him. She groans, conflicted.
A light touch on her shoulder jolts her out of her thoughts “What’s wrong, Angel?” Saeran asks concerned.
“Holy shit you scared me, I didn’t even hear you come in!” MC exclaims, startled. He smiles apologetically while unpacking the grocery bag. “How was the store?”
“Good! I got everything I need so I can finally make those crepes I promised you!” He smiles sweetly.
“You know you didn't have to go get all that, we could have just had cereal baby.”
“But then I’d be breaking a promise!” he says, kissing her forehead before turning toward the kitchen. She follows him, hoping he’ll at least allow her to help.
“So what were you thinking about when I got home? You seemed really stressed about something,” he asks again.
There’s no hiding from him, she might as well just come out and tell him. “Well… Youngmi, Jinwo, and Minji want to to go to the club this weekend and… they wanted to know if we wanted to go with them?”
“Like a dance club?”
“Yea, we used to go there in college but I haven't been there in a while, I completely understand if you don’t want to go though! It’s loud, there’s going to be a lot of people there and I wouldn't want you to get overwhelmed or anything and…”
“I’ll go!” he interrupts
She stares at him for a minute, surprised he welcomed the idea so quickly. “A-are you sure? I promise I won’t be offended or angry if you don’t want to.”
“N-no, no I want to go! I want to try new things, especially if it’s something you enjoy.” He turns to her and gently strokes her cheek, “I want to experience everything with you.”
She can’t even attempt to hide the smile that covers her face in an instant, she leans into his touch, blushing. “Then, it’s a date.” He smiles back at her before turning to mix the crepe batter.
------
The end of the week has arrived. MC goes all out on her look, excited for a night out after so long. A lot has changed since the last time she went out with Minji and Youngmi but their friendship had stayed the same. She smiles in the mirror as she applies her fake eyelashes, the finishing touch on her look she had chosen from a slew of make-up tutorials on Metube. She styles her hair into large voluminous curls. How long has it been since she’s done it this way?
She wears a skin-tight black sheath dress that has a subtle sparkle to it when she moves, along with a pair of tall yet comfortable heels she’s had for years. A simple black choker adorns her neck and a pair of large hoop earrings dangle from her ears.
She takes a long took at herself in the mirror - as well as a couple selfies before a light knock at the door pulls her from her private photoshoot.
“Can I come in?” Saeran asks calmly from the hallway “I need to do my hair.”
“Yup! You’re good!” She shouts.
He opens the door to find her bent slightly over the sink, applying a lip gloss and stops in the doorway as she turns to face him.
“So, what do you think?” She asks him, doing a little twirl so he can see the sparkles on her dress.
His eyes sweep over her form, she looks stunning. She always does of course but wow, the way the dress hugged all her perfect curves, the way her long brown hair swayed as she turned. He still wasn’t sure if he believed in a god or not but if there was one then he’d have to thank them for the fact that this beauty - this absolute goddess - was his.
“Y-you look…” how was he even supposed to put into words how much her appearance floored him? She looks at him expectantly. “Wow.” is all he says but the way he says it so breathlessly with a look of complete speechlessness on his face is more than enough to satisfy her.
She smiles, “Not too bad there yourself, handsome.” She says closing the few strides between them and taking in his crisp deep pink button-down shirt, black fade wash jeans and shiny leather boots as well as a belt to match. He has his sleeves rolled up neatly to his elbows and the top few buttons have been left undone affording her a peek at his collarbone and chest. Something else seems different about him too.
“Are you wearing eyeliner?” She ask, impressed.
“Maybe a little.” He admits.
“Well you look amazing, I’d kiss you but I’d get gloss on your lips.” She says apologetically.
So he kisses her instead, “What’s a little more makeup?” he chuckles as he rubs his lips together, spreading the gloss. “Hey wait a minute, since when are you taller than me?” he asks looking up at her just slightly.
“Since I put these heels on?”
He looks down at her feet, “Ok, yes. That would explain it, you’ll be ok in those? I don’t want you to hurt yourself.”
“Nah! I’ll be fine baby, don’t worry! These are my trusty clubbing heels! Comfort and style!” She says, posing dramatically.
“Yea… you’ve been hanging out with Saeyoung waaaay too much,” He replies jokingly rolling his eyes.
“Oh! You know what? He probably knows the best place to get comfortable heels!”
“You’re… probably right.” Saeran admits, while he combs the knots out of his curly waves, “You should ask him about it.”
“I will! But not tonight, tonight is about you and me dancing our asses off… plus a couple friends.”
“You realize, I’ve never danced... like that, right?” He asks.
“Have you danced at all?” She inquires, trying to picture any version of him getting his groove on amongst strobe lights.
“At Mint Eye, we sometimes had parties for holidays and such so I know a little ballroom, but somehow I don't think that's going to help me out tonight.”
“Is that why you were always so dressed up?” She mutters mostly to herself, “But yea, not so much. No worries! Just follow my lead, it shouldn’t be too hard to get the hang of?” She hopes.
If he’s nervous he’s definitely not showing it. She thinks to herself watching her boyfriend check himself in the mirror one last time before following her out of the bathroom.
---
The five of them arrive at the club successfully and excitedly. Well, for the most part at least. It seems that after leaving the comfort and safety of their apartment, Saeran realized the full weight of exactly where they were going. And - if his leg bobbing continuously throughout their Uber ride here has been any indication - he was now feeling the nervousness that MC had expected from him earlier. She had given him a concerned look, but he shook it off and smiled reassuringly.
Nevertheless, they were there. Steady, up-beat rhythms pulsed while the five of them crossed over the threshold and into the club. MC, Youngmi and Minji shared a look and squeed excitedly as if they were telepathically connected that Jinwo and Saeran were left out of before they headed off to the bar.
“What was that?” Saeran asks Jinwo loudly over the sound of the music.
“Dude, I couldn't tell you if I tried. They’ve been friends so long they just kinda know what each other are thinking sometimes.” He answers as the two of them follow the girls.
“I guess I can understand that.” Saeran shrugs catching up to MC at the bar just in time for her to turn around with two drinks in her hand. She hands him one. “This is my favorite drink ever and you have to try it. Plus, if you don’t like it I get two!”
Saeran smiles and takes the sip offered to him before taking the glass out of his hand. The drink tastes fruity and sweet and he understands why it's her favorite.
“You like it?!” She asks excitedly. He smiles and nods, thinking how cute it is that she is happy to share something new with him and he’s all too happy to oblige her, each new thing he learns about her is a treasure to him, even something as trivial as this.
It’s now that he turns to fully take in his surroundings. As promised, the club is busy and will probably only get busier as the night goes on. The music is loud and thumps in his chest, it's a little intimidating, and a little exciting as well. A lot of people are dancing; pairs and groups of friends, couples. The way the couples dance though - gyrating and grinding on each other. His cheeks take on a dusting of pink just thinking about other people seeing him doing that with MC. What would her friends think of him? But then again, what would be like, having her on him like that? They were no strangers to a bit of PDA here and then but this, this was something completely different. Did she dance like that? Did she want him to dance like that?!
His conflicted mind runs back and forth between how nice it would be and how absolutely terrifying it would be. What if he messed up? What if he did it wrong? What if he made a fool of himself in front of her and her friends and all these other people who seemed to know exactly what they were doing?
“Come on babe,” MC takes his hand and leads him around the perimeter of the crowd. “Jinwo got us a table.”
The table is more of a half-circle couch with a coffee table, the five sit down and get comfortable as they sip their first drinks of the night. Saeran’s anxiety fizzles away a bit as he sips his drink and gets settled in - his arm linked with MC’s as she catches up with her friends while she gently caresses his arm. Ok, this isn’t too bad, not bad at all really. I can do this. He thinks to himself.
Of course, not even a minute later Youngmi sets down her glass, springs to her feet, grabbing both MC and Minji by the hands that are not currently latched onto their boyfriends and declares, “Ok ladies! It’s time to dance!”
The other two girls are more than eager to follow along, Jinwo is as well, getting up with his girlfriend. Saeran is apprehensive, to say the least.
“Saeran, you in?” Youngmi prods cheerfully
“Ummmm,” Saeran starts, eye darting over to MC, “I don't know if…”
“That’s fine! No worries!” MC says, taking her seat again. “I can stay with you!”
“No!” Saeran exclaims. “No, go hang out with your friends. I really want you to have a good time tonight, I’m just… scared. That sounds so stupid.”
MC gets up again and kisses him on the forehead, “It’s not stupid my love, It’s ok to be scared. To be honest, I'm super proud of you for coming out tonight.”
He gives her a half-hearted smile, "Thank you. Now, go have fun with Youngmi and the others. I'll be fine here, I promise."
MC studies his face for a moment finding no betrayal in his words, "Ok, I love you!" She says, backstepping to catch up with her friends.
"I love you too!" He shouts over the music as he watches her blend into the crowd.
He loses track of her pretty quickly and has to stop himself from letting the panic boil up in him over not being able to keep track of her. She's going to be fine, she's with her friends and Jinwo would never let anyone hurt her, or Youngmi for that matter. She could probably kick anyone's ass. He notes with a chuckle.
He leans back and takes out his phone in an attempt to get his mind off things and enters the RFA chatroom.
-- Saeran has entered the chatroom --
Saeyoung: Hey bro!
Zen: Hey Saeran!
Saeran: Hi guys ^^
Saeyoung: Aren't you out with MC right now?
Zen: Oh yeah! The club! Maybe they haven't left yet
Saeyoung: they definitely did
Saeran: And how exactly, do you know that?
Saeyoung: uhhhh good guess?
Saeran: …
Saeyoung: plz don't hurt me
Saeyoung: I was just concerned and I wanted to make sure you got there ok!
Saeran: Tracked the Uber driver?
Saeyoung: noooooo
Saeran: …
Saeyoung: maaaaaaybe
Saeran: …
Saeyoung: ok yea
Saeran: See? was that so hard to admit?
Zen: Ok, ok but if you guys are there already, then what are you doing in the chat? lmao
Saeran: Umm… well
Saeyoung: He’s shy
Saeran: I don’t exactly know how to dance…
Saeran: Like this
Zen: Just go with your instincts
Zen: Feel the music!
Saeyoung: And maybe something else too <3
Zen: SEVEN
Zen: I mean
Zen: SAEYOUNG!
Saeyoung: oo you’re so authoritative when you use my full name
Zen: Stop that!
Zen: Saeran is a gentleman!
Saeyoung: Is part of being a gentleman not giving a lady what she wants?
Saeran: Please stop
Saeyoung: srry
Zen: but for real, you should go dance with MC. I'm sure she wants to dance
Saeran: She is dancing
Zen: Without you?
Saeran: She’s with her friends.
Saeyoung: Oh no
Saeran: Oh no?
Saeyoung: Saeran!
Saeran: WHAT
Saeyoung: Do you need me to come?
Saeran: No? I’m fine
Saeyoung: I could teach you!
Saeyoung: but I’d have to charge
Saeran: ughhh
Saeyoung: MC has a single friend doesn't she?
Saeran: you are NOT coming here
Saeyoung: then go dance with your girlfriend!
Saeyoung: or I’ll come dance with her for you
Saeran: You wouldn’t dare
Saeyoung: or would I?
Saeran: >:(
Saeyoung: lololol
Zen: I’m not sure if you’re helping ^^;
Saeran: I’m leaving
Saeyoung: To go dance with MC?
Saeran: ...Maybe
Zen: Good luck!
-- Saeran has left the chatroom --
Saeran drops his phone into his lap and his head into his hands. Maybe his brother and Zen had a point. MC probably did want to dance with her friends but knowing her, she probably wanted to dance with him a lot more. His heart swells a bit at the thought, She wanted him. She always wanted him and he was still getting used to that. He sits back, takes a deep breath and stands, beginning his search in the crowd for her.
He finds her pretty quickly, dancing with her arms around Youngmi and for a minute he can’t believe he was willing to miss out on dancing with the hottest girl here. Her back is turned to him. Youngmi sees him first and smiles at him as he sneaks up behind her. Silently placing his hands on her hips and whispers in her ear, “Hey Angel.”
MC spins around quickly transferring her arms from Youngmi to him, “Saeran!” She exclaims excitedly, planting a kiss on his unexpecting lips before realization dawns on her.
“Is everything ok?!” She shouts over the music.
He smiles, “Everything’s fine!” He replies, “I just… wanted to come be with you.”
“What changed your mind?”
“Saeyoung said if I didn’t go dance with you he’d do it himself.” He admits.
She giggles, “Yup, ok that would do it.”
“And also…” He trails off, running his hands over the length of her sides, “I couldn't let Youngmi have all the pleasure of dancing with all of this.” he leans in and returns her kiss from a minute ago.
“Hey what's gotten into you, mister?” she talks into his ear.
“Mmm, you,” he says simply, making her smile.
Saeran quickly learns that club dancing is not that hard, at least not with MC there. Hard to keep himself from getting too excited maybe but the actual “dancing” part? Piece of cake. He’s glad his brother gave him the extra kick in the rear to actually do it. He’s never seen MC quite like this before, getting to see her enjoy something she loves with him by her side? That would be worth it even if he had to make a fool of himself.
He’s not even sure how long they’ve been there but eventually nature calls. “I’ll be right back, ok? I have to go to the bathroom.” He tells her, “Will you be ok on your own?”
She nods enthusiastically, “Yea! Don’t worry, I’m gonna go get another drink!”
He feels a bit apprehensive leaving her alone but it’s only for a few minutes and she had assured him earlier that nothing sketchy had ever happened in all the years she and her friends have been coming here. It would be fine, right? Yea, it would be fine and so with that, he’s off to locate the bathroom.
MC takes a seat at the bar and orders another of her favorite cocktails. Taking it gently from the bartender, she sips it down a bit before swiveling in her stool to search for her friends. But before she can locate them her view of the crowd is blocked by a tall figure.
“What’s a pretty lady like you doing all alone here.” The man asks in what he most likely intends to be a sultry voice.
“Oh,” MC starts, “I’m not alone, I’m here with my friends and my boyfriend.”
He scoffs, “Boyfriend? You mean that skinny little shit I saw you dancing with earlier? The kid looked like he was about to piss himself.” “Ok, I’m done talking to you,” MC says angrily and attempts to get up from her seat.
He pushes her back down, “Shame because I’m not done talking to you,” He says roughly.
MC scowls at him, frantically trying to search for a friendly face amongst the crowd around his imposing figure.
“Ya know If your boyfriend was a real man he’d know better than to leave you alone dressed like this.” He says into her ear, trailing one finger up her thigh.
MC is paralyzed, her mind is screaming at her to fight back, toss her drink, scream, kick, anything but her limbs won’t react. They won’t listen to her. His hand travels higher, up her side caressing her repulsively. The only part of her body that moves is her face, scrunching up disgustedly she closes her eyes.
And then, she hears a grunt and a slam, and the touching stops.
“How about you get your worthless, disgusting fingers off what’s mine before I end your miserable life and throw you away like the garbage you are.” A familiar voice barks out at the man.
That voice, she thinks. I haven't heard him talk like that since... She opens her eyes and there’s Saeran. He has the assailant pinned up against one of the wide support beams of the building just a few feet from where she’s sitting. The man grovels a bit.
“Ha,” The man laughs, “You think you can fight me? A weak little twig like you?”
MC catches the look in her boyfriend’s eye as his mouth twitches up in response. It’s been quite a while since she’s seen that look. She almost feels sorry for the guy before remembering what he was doing to her just moments ago.
“Weak?! Weak?! HA. Ah-hahaha. I’ll show you weak!” Saeran screeches, voice reaching a hysterical pitch as he shoves the man head back into the wall, before reeling back and punching him in the face.
MC cringes as the man groans, a trail of blood quickly descending from his nose. She slowly gets up from the barstool and makes her way over to where her boyfriend - a version of him at least - is now tightening his hands around his windpipe.
“Keep. Your. Hands. Off. Of. My. Girl” Saeran grits through his teeth, tightening his grip little by little with each word.
“Saeran!” She shouts at him over the music.
He swings his head to look at her.
“We’ve gotta go!” She shouts, motioning to the group of bouncers now making their way through the crowd toward them.
“Fuck!” He grunts, releasing the man and letting him fall to the ground sputtering.
She grabs his hand and begins to pull him through the crowd toward the back entrance.
“You’re a fucking psychopath!” The man yells out from behind them and Saeran hesitates a moment, contemplating whether or not it would be worth it to go back.
“Come ON.” MC urges, yanking him to start moving again.
“Right, yeah.” He mutters.
The two of them manage to get out the back door but She doesn’t stop, knowing they’ll give chase. “Run!” She tells him.
The two of them run a few blocks and then duck into an alley, behind a dumpster and catch their breath.
“I’m sorry,” He says first between ragged breaths.
For a second she thinks maybe he’s switched back.
“Sorry?” She questions.
“I ruined your night with him. I promised you I wouldn't come back. Y-you, don’t need me messing up your life like this.” “Ruined? Saeran, no! You saved me!” She tells him.
He doesn’t seem to hear her, “I’m sure the other one - the other Saeran - could have taken care of it alot more… Gracefully. But when he saw you, he kind of just froze and I- I couldn't wait for him to work up the courage.”
She takes his hands “I’m really, really glad you didn’t. Looks like I do need you after all.”
“Y-You need me?” He whispers.
“I need all of you!” She says, looking into his eyes now. “You. Ray. The other Saeran. You’re all important to me.”
“But I’m… an asshole.” He admits.
She giggles, “Maybe a little.”
He chuckles. “Hey, can I ask you something?” “Yeah, of course.”
“When he. Uh, that guy back there… Did he, make you feel like I did? You know, when I was-”
“No. Not that I was the biggest fan of you either, mind you but when it was you… It was like something was telling me it would be ok. With him… Every bit of me was screaming. I wanted to move, but I couldn't. I couldn’t think of anything to say. I was paralyzed I-” Her eyes well up with tears and before he can even process what's happening she’s thrown her arms around his shoulders and is sobbing into the crook of his neck. “Thank you,” She chokes out.
A voice in his head tells him to wrap his arms around her and rub her back. So he does, he’s not good at this part. The screaming, the punching, the protecting, that he can do. This tender stuff is all new, but this feels right “I’m never going to let anyone hurt you again.” He whispers into her hair.
Hearing him say that only makes her sob harder, but she hugs him closer as well. “I missed you,” she mutters
His eyes widen, He wants to ask if she’s crazy. He wants to ask why in the world she would miss a monster like him, but she’s never made any sense to him and she probably wasn't about to start now. “I… I’ve missed you too, Princess.”
She giggles tearfully and snuggles into him and breathes out a sigh. “You’ve changed.” She tells him. “You’re… nicer.”
Saeran scoffs, “Tell that to the guy whose face I just beat in”
She giggles again. “Oh and funny too! I knew there was more to you than just unbridled rage”
He rolls his eyes but doesn’t fight her on it.
Her phone rings - It’s Yougmi
“Hello?” MC answers “MC. HOLY SHIT. Are you guys ok?! People are saying Saeran just beat the shit out of some creeper?’
“Oh uhhh, yea. We’re fine! I just didn’t want to get the police involved and everything.” “Shit. Didn’t think he had it in him honestly.”
MC laughs nervously. “Ah well, we’re fine. You guys ok on your own?” “Yea we’re good but MC? Are you ok? People are saying that guy… he’s been harassing girls every weekend for a while now, he didn’t-”
“No, No It didn't get that far, Thanks to Saeran.” MC looks up into to see Saeran’s eyes drop to the floor with a huff.
“Good. Well, I’ll talk to you tomorrow?”
“Sounds good, night Youngmi.”
MC hangs up and grabs her boyfriend's hand. “Ready to go home?”
“Home?” He questions.
“Yes?”
“You want to take me home? Y-you don’t want me to go? Let one of the Marshmallows take over?”
“Not if you don’t want to. I’m curious to learn more about you. Ya know, now that you’re not on drugs and screaming at me.”
“Ha.” He breathes, “Hope you don’t regret that decision.”
“Psh, your barks worse than your bite.” She says, shoving him playfully as they walk.
“But I do bite.” He smirks.
“Don’t I know it.”

decoded (707 x reader, part iv)
summary:  As one of the newest recruits for Hackers Chasing Hackers, one of your goals is to help recruit the infamous hacker 707 into the ranks. When other members of the group start dropping off the radar, a misunderstanding leads you to being banned by the group. Determined to clear your name and get to the bottom of the disappearances, you end up working with none other than the great 707 himself.
rating: 13+ (hacker au, spoilers involve 707′s real name, which are probably not spoilers anymore at this point. /shot)
notes: ah. hello! so i meant to get this out before november, aka nanowrimo, started, but as always things don’t go as planned. anyone from around that time may remember a poll that i put up concerning this fic and the... results from that have been incorporated, perhaps in a way none of us expected. /shot
please enjoy and once again thanks to my friends kamu and @cannibalisticskittles for their help with this chapter!
previous chapter || next chapter
There are reasons why 707 is known as one of the best hackers in the world.
His attention to detail is one of them. It comes with the territory though. One tiny mistake can lead a myriad of errors within a function. And an error ridden function is likely not work, which could result in the weakening of the program as a whole. So naturally, when something has been changed, especially by another person, he’s quick to notice.
Like right now.
Someone has altered the code for his defensive systems. Saeyoung has programs set up for these kinds of things, and while he doesn’t doubt their effectiveness, sometimes it’s good to manually check things. He skims over the the code, sipping at his PhD Pepper. There are minor changes here and there, but for the most part everything is still the same. None of the changes are inherently harmful; even with them, everything still works, albeit less efficiently than what he prefers. Whoever is doing this is trying to be discreet about their mischief.
The keyword here being trying.
Saeyoung checks to see if he can track the source and, of course, they covered their tracks. Not that it’ll help them much. It takes him a couple minutes to uncover the hackers. The IPs look familiar, and when he checks he finds they belong to two members of Hackers Chasing Hackers. Saeyoung’s lips tug upward into a grin. It looks like she’s one of them.
“Interesting…” he murmurs. Normally, Hackers Chasing Hackers takes a while to nurse their wounds when he actively retaliates after one of their attacks, so he wonders if maybe this is something orchestrated by either her or her partner. It wouldn’t be the first time that one or two members of the group has gone after him on their own.
He leans back in his chair and stares up thoughtfully at the some of the glow in the dark stars he’s stuck to the ceiling. Of course, he can’t just let the two get their way. After all, he has a reputation to uphold. Bets are they’re trying to weaken his defenses a little before they attack so that they have a better chance of taking him down. Saeyoung scoffs. It’s a viable effort, but in the end, it’s not going to work.
His hands hover over the keyboard. If he wanted to, Saeyoung could crush them and all their hard work almost instantly.
But then the image of that girl’s flustered expression as he remembers it from the party comes to mind.
And with it, an interesting idea.
“...just how much more of this is there…” you grumble lowly, clacking away on your laptop. It’d been a few days since you and Minji had decided to take on 707. For the most part, things have been going rather smoothly, with the only issue being that his security system is much, much larger than you had anticipated. To compensate, you’ve been spending every spare moment trying to get as much done as you can. But you can already tell that it’s still going to take way longer than you had hoped to execute this plan. And the longer you take, the more likely 707 is going to figure out what you’re up to. The thought of whatever retribution he might have in store for your efforts sends shivers up and down your spine. You don’t think that you could take another week without your baby. The possibility of that alone powers your fingers to move a little faster.
Your stomach growls, protesting your decision to use your lunch break to hack instead of eat. You’ll get a sandwich or something you can eat on the way to your next class. For now, you’d rather use the time you have sitting down to hack.
“Hey!”
The sound of Yoosung’s voice makes you nearly jump out of your seat. You scramble to finish the little bit of code you’re working on, not wanting Yoosung to see what you’re doing. To be honest, you doubt he’d be able to tell, but better safe than sorry. Once you’re done, you look up to find two things, or rather, two people. Person number one is obviously Yoosung, who plops himself down right next to you and person number two… is the red haired guy from the party, grinning from ear to ear.
Every hair on your body stands on end as you watch the redhead settle himself on Yoosung’s other side. You’re pretty sure he’s not a student; that red hair of his sticks out like a sore thumb so you definitely would have seen him before. Then why is he here? Yoosung seems to realize that you’re staring at his companion and introduces him to you. “This is my friend, Saeyoung!”
“Hello~” the redhead bows his head, not bothering to hide the mischievous grin on his face. “Nice to meet you again!”
All the color drains from your face as Yoosung swings his head around to look at you, clearly confused. “Again…? Have you guys met before?”
“Uh… ” you mumble, unsure of what to say. Should you just lie and say that maybe Saeyoung has mistaken you for someone else? Or do you tell him the truth? But if you do that, you might just have to tell Yoosung everything… Before you can even make the decision yourself, Saeyoung decides to make it for you.
“We met at the party,” he answers in nonchalant tone.
“Party…” It takes a moment for the light bulb to go off in Yoosung’s head. “Oh! The RFA party! You were there too?”
“Um… yeah,” you nod sneaking a glare over at Saeyoung. His grin only widens in response.
Yoosung doesn’t seem to notice the dirty looks you’re shooting at his friend and pouts at you. “I was one of the hosts… Did you see me? Why didn’t you say hi?”
“You… looked kinda busy when i saw you,” you reply. It’s not entirely a lie, but you also had been actively trying to avoid him as well. “So I didn’t really get a chance…”
That answer seems to satisfy Yoosung, “Oh! I see!”
“Yeah, sorry about that…”
“It’s okay! I hope you still were able to have a good time!” Yoosung gives you a warm smile, which makes you feel a tiny bit guilty. Maybe you should have said hi to him after all… “I don’t remember seeing your name on the guest list, though… Did you come with an organization?”
You nod slowly, not liking where this seems to be headed.
“Oh cool! Which one?”
“Uh…” If possible, you’d like to avoid a slip up like you had last time, but since it’s been a couple weeks you can’t even remember any of the other groups that were there. Maybe you should just come clean after all… It’s not like Yoosung finding out you can hack would be the worst thing in the world.
“Didn’t you say you were part of that group selling keyboards?” Saeyoung interjects, in a surprisingly helpful way. Obviously, you didn’t, and you know Saeyoung knows that. Despite the fact he pushed you into this mess, the fact that he’s throwing you a lifeline is strange. But you’d be a fool not to take it.
“Yeah! Yeah! That’s right!” you agree, a little too enthusiastically.
“Ohhhhh,” Yoosung’s head bobs up and down in an enlightened way and you inwardly sigh, relieved that he seems none the wiser. Then, after a beat, he adds, “I remember you saying you were looking for a new gaming keyboard, Saeyoung, is that how you guys got to talking?”
You glance over at Saeyoung, who’s smile wavers just the tiniest bit, and respond in a careful sort of way, “Yeah, that’s right… he told me that he needed a new keyboard…”
“I thought so!” Yoosung nods again takes a big bite of the sandwich he’d bought for lunch. “Oh, did you know Saeyoung plays LOLOL too?”
“Does he?” you ask, raising an eyebrow. It doesn’t surprise you that a friend of Yoosung’s would play LOLOL, but if you remember right, Saeyoung told you at the party that he was absolutely no good with computers… Was he exaggerating when he said that? You look over at Saeyoung who gives you a tight smile. Something about his expression feels… off, but you can’t seem to pin your finger on it.
Yoosung chirps, “Yep! He’s even on our server!”
“Oh really?” That makes sense. Usually, people tend to play on the same servers as their friends. “What’s your username, maybe I’ve seen you around or something!”
Saeyoung laughs a bit and scratches the back of his neck looking a bit shy, “Ah… I don’t play that often…”
Yoosung nearly spits out the food in his mouth, “What!? You play a lot!”
“...in comparison to you, not really~” Saeyoung teases. You have to stifle a giggle. You don’t know anyone who’s as addicted to LOLOL as Yoosung. It’s a miracle that he’s made it this far in the real world. Sometimes you think that he should just become a professional LOLOL player instead of whatever it is he’s planning on doing in school.
“...you say that, but you’re the best player on the server,” Yoosung retorts, puffing out his cheeks in a pouty sort of way.
You blink, surprised by Yoosung’s comment. The best player on the server is Saeyoung? But that would make him… “Awesome Hacker?”
“Yeah,” Yoosung huffs. “That’s him alright.”
Your breath catches in your throat at the confirmation. You were willing to believe that maybe, despite his lack of computer skills, Saeyoung can still play LOLOL on a casual level. But there’s absolutely no way that someone like that could be the top player on your server. You’ve never played with him personally, but you’ve heard the stories. Awesome Hacker’s skills are known to be unparalleled. Any party that raids with them is guaranteed to be world first. Hell, there are some rumors that Awesome Hacker may have two extra arms and that’s how they’re so good. And you’re supposed to believe that this godly player and Saeyoung are the same person?
One of them has to be lying. And between Yoosung, your friend who you’ve known since the beginning of this semester and Saeyoung, this handsome stranger who you’ve probably known for a total of fifteen minutes or so, it’s clear who you’re going to believe here. You glare at Saeyoung, who meets your gaze with a quiet chuckle. He must be able to tell that you’ve figured out his little ruse. If it weren’t for Yoosung, you’d be giving that liar an earful right about now.
“So, anyway, what were you doing?” Yoosung switches topics, completely oblivious to the stare war going on between you and Saeyoung. “I was calling out to you for a while.”
“Oh, just some homework,” you lie automatically.
“Lunchtime is a good time to do homework...” Yoosung mumbles thoughtfully as he munches on his food. Then, suddenly, he starts coughing like he’s choking. Alarmed, both you and Saeyoung both pat Yoosung on the back, trying to help him clear his throat.
“Yoosung? What’s wrong?” you ask, voice saturated with worry.
“Home...work…” he repeats weakly. Then he snatches his bag and begins rifling through it like a madman. Yoosung doesn’t seem to find what he’s looking for and then looks up at you, like a helpless child,  “I...I think I left my homework in my last class….”
“Oh.” Knowing him, he was probably working on it during class instead of paying attention to the lecture. “Maybe it's still there…”
Yoosung’s eyes begin to dart around, as if he’s trying to figure out what he should do. Then he suddenly stands and sputters, “I… I’ll be right back!”
Then, before you can say anything else, he dashes out of the lunchroom.
“I really hope he finds it…” you say quietly, staring at the door he ran out of. It’d suck if he had to redo it, especially if he’d managed to actually get a lot done.
“Hopefully~”
The sound of the other voice causes you to freeze. Yoosung's impromptu departure means that you're alone with him. You turn your head to find Saeyoung staring back with an owlish expression. You have your reservations about being alone with him but at the same time since Yoosung’s gone now, you can actually give this guy a piece of your mind.
“So,” you begin. “You have some explaining to do.”
He shoots you a playfully evasive grin. “Do I?”
Something about the look on his face makes you feel a little tingly, but you ignore it and hiss, “Don't play dumb with me! You said at the party that you were no good with computers, but just now Yoosung said that you're the best player on our LOLOL server.”
Saeyoung merely shrugs and dramatically declares, “Maybe my love for LOLOL transcends my non-existent computer skills!”
“I'm not buying it,” you lean in a little closer to glare at him.  “Why did you lie? Do you have something to hide?”
“Nooo~”
“If you’re trying to convince me otherwise, you’re going to have to try harder than that!” You look up into Saeyoung’s eyes, trying to see if maybe you can find something there. But all you can see amidst the golden hue of his eyes is your reflection.
He chuckles a bit and leans in toward you,  “Maybe you’re the one who needs to try harder? Your seduction technique needs a little bit of work~”
You squeak when you realize just how close the two of you are to one another and jump backwards so that you’re at a more respectable distance. Saeyoung laughs and despite the fact that you’re red with embarrassment, you continue to glare at him. “I wasn’t trying to seduce you!”
“Oh?” he cocks his head to the side, eyes alight with amusement and a dash of confusion. “That’s too bad.”
You blink. Too… bad? What does that even mean? Did he think you were trying to actually flirt with him? Did he want you to? The thought of it makes your face feel warm and you look away, flustered. You were just trying to intimidate him into telling you the truth, but it- Something clicks in your head and you turn back to Saeyoung, glaring through narrowed eyes, “....are you trying to distract me?”
“Damn, my plan’s been foiled,” he responds in a lighthearted tone that makes it clear that he’s still toying with you. It’s a bit frustrating, but you’re not ready to give up.
You click your tongue in annoyance, “Too bad. So sad. Now out with it, I’m not letting you go until you tell me what you know.”
“...don’t you have class soon?”
He has a point. You look away from him, contemplating for a bit before you mutter, “I… I’ll skip it.”
“...what about when Yoosung comes back?” he adds, still clearly amused by all this. “Are you going to keep grilling me then?”
You groan. He’s got a point there too. Of course, you could just reveal to Yoosung that you’re a hacker, but you’re still not sure if your friendship is with him is on a high enough level for that reveal yet. Saeyoung still had that damn grin plastered on that smug mug of his. You can’t help but wonder where a nice guy like Yoosung met a dude like this.
“Give up yet?” he asks in a mockingly sweet voice.
“No!” you sit up straight and continue to glower at him. “Listen, obviously you must know something because if you didn’t, you would just tell me and be done with it.”
“Oh, you think so?”
For a split second, you doubt yourself. There’s the chance that this guy is just some weirdo who knows nothing and is just enjoying screwing with you right now. But he was at that party and he’s here right now. You don’t think that’s some coincidence.
“No. You definitely know something,” you tell him firmly. “Tell me what you know. Though, even if you don’t, I’ll find out one way or another-  I am a hacker, you know.”
Saeyoung’s catlike smile is replaced with a contemplative stare. Is that… a bad sign? You’re not quite sure, so you peer into his eyes again, trying to see if you can find a trace of what he could possibly be thinking. Once more you find nothing, and he says nothing, you feel a ball of nervousness begin to grow inside you. Then, he begins to speak, and you brace yourself for whatever he has to say.
But what you hear isn’t an explanation, but a loud cackle. Saeyoung holds his stomach as he dissolves in a fit of laughter. You can’t help but feel a bit embarrassed sitting next to him as he’s starting to gain an audience. Once he starts to calm down, he speaks, wiping at the tears that had formed at the corners of his eyes, “...okay, you got me.”
Your pulse quickens at the sound of his words.
“I’ll tell you what I know.”

Cruel Angel’s Thesis Chapter 10
Rating: Explicit Archive Warning: Graphic Depictions Of Violence Category: F/M Fandom: Mystic Messenger (Video Game) Relationship:707 | Luciel Choi/Main Character Characters:707 | Luciel Choi, V | Jihyun Kim Mary, Vanderwood 3rd, Jumin Han, Zen | Hyun Ryu, Yoosung Kim, Jaehee Kang, Main Character, Rika, Saeran ChoiUnknown | Ray
Nari frowned at the charred remains before her. She felt like vomiting if she was being honest with herself, but this needed to be done, and the RFA trusted only her with this. She grabbed the materials she needed to extract the bone marrow from the remains. She gathered samples from femur; it was in the best shape. The bone was mostly white with fat and flesh still attached. She scrapped the narrow into a dish, and signals to the forensics that they could do what they pleased with the rest.
Nari walked into the lab where her friend Minji was running Saeyoung DNA in the systems. She silently handed the girl the sample from the body and sat in one of the empty chairs. They both where on Jumin’s pay right now seeing as this was completely secret and under the table. The two girls would run the DNA against the other anything under 70% matches threw the chances of it being Saeran out the window. That was the best case scenario.
Nari not being trained in this area was more an onlooker making sure her boyfriend’s DNA was properly destroyed upon the completion of the test. It was only after much deliberation and a huge leap of trust on Saeyoung part that she convinced him to allow her to take a sample from him. It'd be unfortunate if the agency had found out about this and the DNA lead them there. Nari frowned thinking about her boyfriend working while possibly going mad with wonder. Everyone, Saeyoung included, was positive the DNA would be a match and it was Saeran lying in there.
Minji hadn't asked questions when Nari called in a favor. She simply signed the contract Jumin had his lawyer whip up securing everyone's involvement with this.
Minji had been sitting here with her for over 34 hours. Nari had left the RFA meeting and rushed straight to the hospital. The team recovering the body from the ruins kept bringing more and more burnt disfigured Parts. The femur was their best bet to find healthy DNA strands to compare to Saeyoung. Identical twins had identical DNA and a match lower than 70% even given the damage to the body wouldn't do. So far the highest match they've come across was 6.72% and that's including damage.
"The femur had a tissue, dried blood in the marrow?" Minji asked eyeing the sample beginning the process to extract the DNA from it.
"Yeah, so if it doesn't match, it means it's not who we thought it was," Nari explained rubbing her dry eyes watching the computer systems run her boyfriend DNA and biome. She saw literally every genetic thing that made her lover who he was. She smiled snapping a picture of all His biome and sent to him in a text.
Nari- I hacked into your genetic code! I've literally seen every genetic thing that makes you, you. I love you <3
707- that's actually really cool! You should tell me what these things mean sometimes. I love you too <3
707- Have you eaten? Have you slept? I just checked the time...
Nari- I can sleep when I'm dead. Can't eat because I don't want to go through sanitizing myself again. Bio shitz...
707- Hah, I love you. So baby can you please take care of yourself.
Nari- fine, but we should be wrapping up here soon anyway. Don't you work yourself to death? Mwah!!!
707- Mwah!!!
Minji had the DNA up and running through the systems about three hours later. She was humming watching the Biome and DNA try to make matches
"Match is 9.65% there is no way they are identical twins," Minji concluded typing notes and printing them. She added them to the file as a tear rolled down Naris face.
"It's positively not his brother. Of thank fucking god!" Nari sobbed covering her face with her hands.
"Yeah, honestly it could be a distant relative or just some stranger that carries a similar DNA make-up," Minji explained grinning handing the file to Nari. "From my hands to yours to Mr. Han."
"Yes before that. We have to destroy Luciel's DNA." Nari informed her and Minji giggled picking up some liquid and poured it on all the samples.
"Oops, I'm such a klutz." Minji gasped and Nari giggled gathering the samples and putting them in a container.
"I'll burn them too," Nari said shrugging. "Thank you so much Minji."
"I should thank you I made three months’ salary in 40 hours!" Minji giggled gathering her things.
Nari enters the chatroom.
Jaehee-Welcome Nari. Here for a status report?
Nari- 38 hours later and the match is only 9.65% match. Given damage caused by the flames and just living the lowest possibility was 70%. It's positively not Saeran.
707 has entered the chatroom
707- Where the fuck is Saeran?
Nari- good question
Jaehee- shouldn't the match be 100%
707- I honestly thought so...
Nari- Doctor Mode activated. Allow me to educate you.
707- I love playing doctor with you baby
707 hearts emoji
Jaehee sighing Emoji.
Jaehee- please just answer the question.
Nari- Identical twins come from the same zygote. This means that the egg and sperm are the exact same, which equates to identical DNA. They are always of the same sex and are monozygotic or MZ twins (mono = one; zygote = fertilized egg) Sperm carry either the X or Y chromosome determining the baby's gender.
707- Which means we have the same DNA...
Jaehee- we already knew that. You basically retold us they have identical DNA which we were aware of
Nari-From birth, yes they should be 100% genetically identical. However, they aren't necessarily genetically identical as life progresses. Mutations will occur as their body grows through mitotic processes.
707- Have to use Google. One second
Jaehee- just a moment, please.
Nari-Most of these mutations are automatically fixed, but some of them stay, such as when ultraviolet rays from the sun rearrange epithelial cell DNA. Also the drugs he's on, and the age he started taking said drugs can deteriorate his DNA and genetic makeup. In short, genetic variability in twins results from mutations during the lifespan.
707- mind was blown
Jaehee- you seem well educated in the area of twins
Nari- Honestly in med-school, I had a fascination with Twins after doing a report.
707- You just love me because of science!
Nari- shit Jaehee he's onto me...
Nari- Identical twins are random and universal. And the only increased chance of multiples is fraternal twins because two eggs and two sperm are required for fraternal. That's if they ran on the mother's side of the family, or you use fertility treatments. Fun facts!
707- I'm a rarity!
707- well I guess Saeran is too...
Nari-Yup just one second
Nari- I know I have a master ball laying around here somewhere! I'll need my spare one for when we see Saeran
707 heart emoji
707- So that's how you captured my heart <3
Nari- gotta catch em all!
707- be sure to capture Jumin in luxury ball, or he'll throw a tantrum.
Nari- who’s to say I haven't already
Nari wink Emoji
Jaehee- Mr.Han had asked if you have the reports.
Nari-I’m getting into my car as we speak so I'll see you soon.
Nari- Saeyoung, we will find him. I love you. Eat something other than Honey Budda chips. And drink some water!
707- I know we will. I love you, drive safe.
Nari has left the chatroom.
Nari walked into C&R looking around the reception area in awe. It was clean and light. Plants scattered about yet seemed well placed. There where Crystal chandeliers in a business building. Talk about luxury Nari would laugh if it was actual diamonds hanging above her head. That would be so, Jumin Han.
"Good to see you again, Nari." A feminine voice spoke out. Naris eyes met with Jaehee as her grin spread further.
"Jaehee!" She exclaimed walking over to hug her friend. Jaehee seemed hesitant but hugged her back.
"Mr. Han is awaiting you in his office. Allow me to escort you." Jaehee was truly a professional woman.
"Lead the way." Nari giggled following the assistant into the elevator.
"You look tired," Jaehee commented pressing the 17 button and the elevator roared bringing them upward.
"I haven't slept since before the RFA meeting two days ago. I'm functioning loudly on adrenalin and energy drinks." Nari sighed smiling at the other woman.
"I completely understand that!" Jaehee giggled. "It's nice to have another workaholic in the RFA with unreasonable hours."
"Hah~ these hours where on Jumin’s wallet!" Nari giggled. "Truly though having another woman in the RFA saved it from being a sausage fest!"
"Mmmm... It is a comfort. Thank you for stay with us despite the situation." Jaehee hummed looking at the doctor.
"I owe the RFA plenty. Plus my boyfriend pretty much makes it’s physically impossible to leave. I'm the RFA's hostage now, but I don't mind." Nari laughed.
“If I may, I raise concerns for you sanity choosing Luciel for a lover. How should I put it... he is an enigma with a very colorful and eccentric personality." Jaehee raised her mock concerns with a wicked smiled causing Nari to double over with laughter as they stepped off the elevator.
"But that's why I love him~" Nari sang between giggles and Jaehee laughed herself walking toward a door with 'the office of Jumin Han.' Plated on it. Jaehee knocked firmly.
"Enter." Jumin’s monotone voice called out.
Both women stepped into the office and Jumin vaulted whatever paperwork he was reading and signing. He folded his hands together on the desk providing them with his full attention.
"This is all of our genetic findings," Nari spoke first stepping forward setting the file on his desk. Jumin nodded skimming through the file.
"Wonderful work Doctor Choe." Jumin complimented.
"Nah, I'm not forensics. Thank Doctor Minji Park. She was the mastermind." Nari waved her hand in front of her face. "Though if you need an appendix removed, or a liver transplant I'm your gal!"
"Very well. Now raises the question of where Luciel’s brother ended up." Jumin spoke clear but mostly to himself.
"Wouldn't it be wonderful if we knew?" Nari sighed. "Saeyoung's going to work himself to death trying to trace him and completing his agency work at the same time."
"Yes, I'll gather some people to aid in the search." Jumin clarified.
"Another important question. Whose body was I harvesting bone marrow samples from for the past two days?" Nari asked clearly surprising the businessman.
"We will exhaust every possibility and hopefully identify the body," Jumin assured her. Nari smiled sadly.
"I'm sure Nari is very tired Mr. Han. Why don't we allow her to head home and get some rest." Jaehee than spoke up and Jumin nodded.
"Yes, assistant Kang is correct. Nari please be careful on your way home and take care of yourself. Until we speak again take care." Jumin finalized dismissing her. Nari nodded.
"Let me know if there is anything I can do to help. Have a good day Jumin." Nari said turning to excuse herself from his office. Jaehee was on her heel.
"Please travel safe, and again thank you for everything you've done to help us." Jaehee than bowed causing Nari to laugh.
"So formal. Alright, I'm out." Nari shot the businesswoman a peace sign and excused herself from the building.
Nari stumbled into her high-end apartment an hour later. Traffic had been at its worse. Nari kicked off her heels and locked the deadbolt before wandering into her kitchen. She noted the place seemed cleaned a smelt fresh despite her not residing there for 2 weeks. Curiously she grabbed the note on the fridge and smiled. Miu had tidy and restocked her fridge for her. As she grabbed a glass of water her phone started ringing.
"Hello~ this is the very tired corpses of Doctor Choe. Please hang up and don't try your call again." She chimed than took a sip of water listening to the laughter on the other end.
"I got worried when you didn't return to the bunker." Seven stated and Nari blushed.
"Hmm?" She hummed.
"Don't make that noise!" He sputtered to her amusement.
"Wasn't aware I was supposed to return to your place. I'm home." Nari explained and he groaned.
"I can't protect you there! I don't even know your address!" He barked in concern making her frown.
"I'm sorry. I felt like I was really imposing on your space. I thought I should come home." Nari started listening to her boyfriend’s typing.
"You're never imposing. My place is your place, always feel comfortable being here." He murmured sweetly and she smiled.
"I love you, you dork." Nari giggled and he groaned again.
"I love that you love me. I love you more than anything. When this is all over I'm taking you to a space station to marry you." Saeyoung spoke clear and determinedly causing Naris breath to get caught in her throat.
"Yes." She muttered and he hummed slightly confused.
"Yes?" He questioned after a moment and Nari found her voice.
"Yes, I'll marry you." Nari clarified and noise could be heard from the other end of the phone.
"Nari? Shit sorry, I dropped the phone and restarted my heart!" He stammered on sounding embarrassed.
"It's okay." Nari murmured quietly and there was a heavy sigh.
"Thank you. But don't say yes right now. Don't get me wrong I love that you did, but I want to do things more proper." His voice was broken. "I love you, so much and hearing you so willingly agree to spend your love with me for a lifetime makes me happy. So unbearably happy I might burst. Wait for me a little longer and then you'll be my priority." He was sniffling on the other end and Nari smiled warmly.
"Saeyoung," Nari whispered hearing him take a sharp intake of air. "I'll be waiting for you, right beside you honey. I love you, much more than I could ever fathom. You're my future and soulmate."
"God! My chest feels tight and I find it hard to breathe. I feel so complicated when I can’t see you. What's wrong with me?" He questioned himself and Nari giggled.
"My diagnosis is that you're experiencing unconditional love for the first time," Nari spoke in a matter of fact tone and he sighed.
"I'm clueless on how I got you, but I'm so happy, I don't care." He murmured and Nari smiled.
"I'll go grab a shower and clothes and be there soon." Nari decided and he chuckled sadly.
"I look forward to seeing you. Drive safe." Saeyoung mumbled and ended the call. Nari wiped her eyes and calming herself down.
Nari pulled into the garage after the gate had a pretty intense argument with her. She giggled to herself thinking out the rude gate. She parked her car and opened the door to be created with a whistle. She stepped out a caught her red-headed dork of a boyfriend ogling her silver Lexus. She smirked shutting and locked the doors.
"Like what you see?" She asked in a mock-seductive tone.
"Yes, ma'am." He muttered with a grin without lifting his eyes from the car.
"I mean it's not flashy like your cars, but she is pretty huh?" Nari smirked as he circled the car.
"Can I modify her?" Saeyoung asked lifting the hood completely inspired.
"She shy! Gotta wine and dine her first!" Nari hissed playfully closing the hood and he grinned at her.
Saeyoung wrapped his arm around Nari pulling her close smelling her freshly washed hair. He let out a content sigh pressing a kiss to the top of her head. Nari hummed running kisses of her own up his jaw. His hands traced the curve of her back as his lips met hers in a sweet kiss. Nari smiled relishing in it before she pulled away.
"Oh before I forget," Nari mumbled digging in her jacket pocket and Saeyoung raised his eyebrow. She grabbed his hand and slid a key into it. "It's too my apartment." His eyes widened before he grabbed her in a bone-crushing hug.
"Thank you. I won't abuse it, I promise." He whispered and she nodded allowing herself to be held, safe, and secure in his arms.
"You're always welcome to be there," Nari whispered and his breath hitched.
"Home number 2." He agreed with a chuckle.
"Can you put me to bed? I am running on fumes, energy level dropping. Eyelids are definitely heavy." She half whined and he smiled lazily down at her.
"Sure, princess. Let's go." He agreed to trace his fingers along her cheek before lifting her into his arms. She realized a pleased sigh as he whisked her away.
Luciel laid her on the bed tucking his blanket around her before flipping off the light. "Join me..." She whispered snuggling in his bed enjoying the smell of him that lingered there.
"I can't, my love. I have agency work to complete. But I'll use the computer in here. You sleep." Saeyoung assured her as the computer hummed to life and a faint glow lit up the room. When Luciel looked toward the bed again she was already gone. He smiled turning back to his computer turning off the monitor before crawling in beside his slumbering lover. He wrapped her in his arms spooning her from behind after setting a quiet alarm for himself. A few hours of sleep couldn't hurt after all.
They both groaned as the sound of boots came toward then and bedroom door flew open. Nari rolled over snuggling her face into Seven as he chuckled sitting up slightly.
"At least we weren't screwing. Madam Vanderwood, what do we owe the pleasure?" Luciel greeted their unwanted guest.
"For the love of- How's the job coming along," Vanderwood asked in a stern voice.
"I'll probably have it completed in a few hours." Seven explained Stroking Naris head causing her to him rubbing her nose in his chest.
"That's three days ahead of schedule. Good work Zero Seven." Vander wood complimented him clearly surprised. "Also did you get a new car because I look the leopard print one?"
"Nah, that's this lovely ladies." Seven clarified and Nari raised a finger. “OH and Vanderwood." Seven called after his handler as he tried to retreat.
"What now!?" Vanderwood snapped.
"Since Nari could be here knock in the future." Seven stated in a cheerful tone and Vanderwood sighed.
"You're right. Sorry, Nari." Vanderwood apologized and Nari snorted.
"S'all good," Nari assured the older male with a wave not bothering to turn to face him. She smirked as the door close. "How long have we been asleep?" Nari asked yawning clinging herself to her boyfriend as he moved to grab his phone.
"Five hours." He informed her and she groaned.
"When did you crawl in?" Mark's very tired voice asked.
"Five minutes after you fell asleep." He confessed and she hummed.
"Good you need to sleep." Nari yawned stretching before rolling over allowing herself to fall asleep yet again.
It was dust and Nari returned to her own space. She needed a moment to herself after the day she had. The hospital agreed to not terminate her contract if she would see one of the phycologists twice a week for 2 hours. She was spender from the O.R and gallery overlooking until she completes her therapy and the doctor cleared her for surgery. It was annoying, but after Jumin explained her kidnapping and the Mint-Eye downfall (which was all over the news with Rika and Saeran still at large) they deemed her mentally unstable and ban her access to the surgical floor.
Nari sighed walking Toward Her Apartment Door When She Stepped on a package. She cocked an eyebrow picking up the box looking it over. Nothing was writing on the box, how curious. She unlocked her door shutting it behind her locking the deadbolt as she kicked off her shoes. She examined the box debating if she should open it or call Seven. She chewed on her cheek as she uses her key to break the tap setting the box on her kitchen table. She cautiously opened the box to be greeted with a children's storybook.
More confused Nari picked up the book and laid it on the table. It appeared to be a harmless children's fairy tale. She opened the cover and tears pricked her eyes as she gasps. There pressed to the cover was a beautiful blue and orange rose. Her breathing picked up as she traced her finger over them. Saeran had to of left this for her. He had told her he was drying and pressing the rose she adored from his garden. And Saeran always kept a blue rose in his suit pocket.
Her hands shacked as she slightly cried. She turned the pages; it was clearly an old and well-loved book. The pages coming off the seam slightly, a few stains here and there. She frowned some of which looked like dried blood. Tears streamed down her face as she ran her finger over a stained pool of blood. Those poor boys, she thought to herself.
When she hit the back cover her breath completely left her. There is childish scroll was some writing looking rather faded and blood spatter made it harder to make out. She frowned squinting bring it close to her face when her eyes widened. She felt I'll like she had been punched in the gut.
Saeyoung and Saeran Choi- age 7
Nari covered her mouth as she took a picture with her phone and sent it to her boyfriend. She felt breathless as she awaited the response. She stared at her phone as her heart threatened to jump out of her chest. What felt like eons later the phone rang?
"Sae-"
"Where did you get that?" His voice was a whisper and shaky.
"It was left in a box in front of my door." Nari murmured softly and his breath hitched.
"Pack your things. You can't stay there right now, it's not safe." He hissed quietly and Nari moved on impulse to start collecting her things.
"I understand, but Sae-" he cut her off again.
"Fuck...FUCK!" He yelled and the sound of him hitting his fist against his desk. Nari flinched. "It... It has to be him. He's not a safe person right now. Nari, I'm so fucking sorry I-" she cut him off.
"Stop taking all the guilt on yourself!" She barked and he groaned. "This is not your fault. You were a kid! Saeyoung you were a child and you couldn't possibly know this is how it would turn out. This isn't your fault." Nari assured him and his breathing became uneven.
"You know what I've done, what I do, and what I am. How can you love me despite all of this?" He asked clearly bewildered and she sighed.
"I love you for all you've done, what you do, and what you are. I don't love you in spite of it. I love you for all of it. I love who you are, I just wished you could see yourself the way I do. You'd realize you're a person that deserves my love, and you deserve to be in my life, and you deserve my friendship." Nari informed him.
"Come to me then, my love. I'll protect you with my life. I'll gladly die for you if it comes to it." He declared and Nari sobbed quietly.
"Then I'll have to protect you too, a world without you isn't one I'm interested in." Nari declared and his breathing stops.
"I'll come pick you up. Wear something pretty. There is somewhere if like to take you." Saeyoung informed her and the line was dead.
Nari stared at her phone for a moment before scurrying into her room. By the way, he drives she had limited time to ready herself. She hauled the sides of her hair back and secured it in a white bow. She peaked off her clothes and exchanged them with a white frilly dress she's be dying a wear. Next, she fixed her makeup applying some red lipstick before deeming herself ready.
She moved and in zipped her suitcase throwing random items into it when her door clicked and opened. She popped her head out her bedroom door to see Saeyoung taking in her rather nice apartment. She giggled alerting the man to her location. He smiled at her and walked to join her.
"Hey!" She smiled placing more items into we suitcase. Saeyoung wondered around her bedroom seemingly analyzing everything his eyes met with.
"Nice place." He finally spoke and Nari giggled again zipping up her bag and stood. His eyes widen slightly as a blush settled on his face. "You're so beautiful."
"You look handsome." She met him in stride looking him up and down. He had chosen to wear white as well. He looked good in his button-up dress shirt and black jeans. He flushed at her compliment.
"Where is It?" Saeyoung asked quietly looking at the ground.
Nari smiled grabbing his hand and leading him to the kitchen table. He eyed the storybook that once belonged to him. He realized his hold on Nari and walked silently to the table. Nari stood in awe watching him touch the cover. He opened the front cover being greeted by the beautiful flowers. He frowned while his eyebrows knitting together.
"Saeran always had a blue rose on him, and the orange one was from his garden. He took me for a walk one night and I kept eyeing that one rose." Nari explained walking up behind him placing her hand on his arm as she looked down at the book.
His fingers brushed the roses one more time before he turned the pages. Every stain of blood caused his breath to hitch. Finally, he made it to the back cover. The faded ink of his childhood writing covered in spattered blood was his name along with his brothers. He squeezed his eyes shut and silent tears rolled down his cheeks. Nari embraced him burying her nose in his back as every horrible childhood memory flooded back to him.

OOUGH I TRIED TO GET THEM BEFORE IT PASSED BUT HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY KAIT!!! have seven and his sweeties goofing off with multiples of his glasses because these are party people who will make the party part slap. but lila and saeray are the main event and i hope these scribbles are a.) able to be parsed and b.) something that brings you joy... i hope your birthday has been great! 🎉 🎊🥳 —Submission
OH MY GOD SKELLY THEY'RE ALL SO GOOFY I ADORE THEM I'M GONNA PUT THESE ON MY FRIDGE
Judas, Saeyoung and Minji would make the best party, ever. I think it'd be cheesy and personalized. Minji would make the best treats to taste, Judas would distract me with a shopping trip, and we'd come home to Saeyoung tangled in a box of streamers with Saeran. Sobs. But, Saeray and Lila are so. precious. THEY'RE JUST SO SMALL AND SQUISHY. I'M GONNA PINCH THEIR CHEEKS THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.

hello hello!! it is i, once again!! so here's a fun little thing for you: do you have any little headcanons or drabbles or anything, really, rattling around in your head that you would like to share but haven't yet had the chance to? like any little character thought that you don't think is big enough to post on its own or something, this is your free space to toss it out, no bigger context or work needed
-embroidery anon
(i thought of this because i just put together something really small for one of my stories and feel like celebrating the ideas of things. all the stuff we don't mention that becomes part of something larger later <3)
God. There are a lot of things I'd love to write or work on! Sometimes, I just don't have the spark to work on it, or I don't think it'd get love in the way I'd love it. My head is filled with prompts all the time! So, the answer to this is, where do I even begin? This is about to be so long, I swear to God.
I have so many thoughts about my Obey Me x Mystic Messenger crossover that I'm working on in the background of other stories right now.
There's a lot of character development and analysis that I would love to do for that but I just haven't got the chance to do it yet. I don't want to just write the main story, there's a part of me that wants to write things that are happening to other characters in the meantime.
Like, I would love to explore Saeyoung’s faith. I want to see what happens when he is presented with Lucifer, given that’s who he named himself after. Even without the crossover, I think it would be really interesting to explore that part of his faith in a way that helps my own religious trauma.
There is a part of me that wants to do a deep exploration of character sexuality and gender expressions, too.
I would love to sink my teeth into the concept of Saeyoung’s gender fluidity. It's something that a lot of people have talked about over the years, but I have never put in my thoughts and feelings about it in a way that would allow me to truly explore his character the way I want to and share my interpretation.
Another concept I want to work with is my personal take on Jumin being asexual. There is a lot to that specific headcanon of mine and I would love to go into detail one of these days. I just haven't had the energy to replay Jumin’s route lately!
I haven't really talked about that in a long time, unfortunately. It's something I feel passionate about when it comes to his character, but it can be a hard time talking about it because there are a lot of acephobes out there that pop into my posts. Which, hey, if anyone reading this is acephobic, get out of here, you are unwanted by my demisexual ass. <3
I don’t get to write Yoosung or Zen enough. I feel like there's potential for me to explore their characters a lot better but I just haven't found the right concept that I want to work with them on. There's a part of me that wants to flesh out Yoosung in my Cowboy universe. I just haven't put together the pieces yet but once I do, we're going to finally have me riding about him properly in a story that is all his own. Maybe I’ll get to Zen someday…
He, unfortunately, always winds up as the best friend to the Readers in my stories. But that's kind of how I see him so it's hard for me to write about him in any other way.
God, I think the thing that is on the back burner most of the time are CMC-driven stories.
One story I want to write is centered around my Poly Trio since they fall behind Saeran and Lila so often! Judas and Saeyoung have this dynamic that bounces between enemies to reluctant friends to lovers that makes me feel some kind of way. There's a part of me that really wants to explore their dynamic quite often. I think about the time just before Minji appears a lot.
Like, Judas is an informant who has been working to get revenge on his ex-boyfriend who used and abused him for years after scooping him up off the streets as a teenager. He almost got what he wanted, to kill him in cold blood, but they put a hit on his head and his only choice was to sell himself to the Agency Saeyoung works for to save his skin momentary. The agency wants his information and then they want Saeyoung and Vanderwood to kill him. The cat and mouse that shapes them sends me sometimes.
Minji is the sunshine between them. She is their guiding light who guides them back to happiness after bathing in sin, but I want badly to write about that time between she appears in the apartment just to see Saeyoung and Judas bite each other's heads off.
I have even more ideas for Saeran and Lila, but I typically tend to scratch that itch when I have it. Besides, you're asking for those things that I think about but never wind up doing no matter how much I want to do it.
Unsurprisingly, there are so many things that I still haven't written for Ray, Suit Saeran, GE Saeran, VAE Ray, VAE Suit Saeran, Unknown, or SE Saeran. I don't think I can fit everything that I've ever wanted to write about when it comes to that character but I certainly can't do it in a single post.
There are a lot of little things that I would love to write about when it comes to each and every one of them. Sometimes, though, the concepts that I have are so little that it would just turn into a post that looks a little bit like:
“Ray is the little spoon. Send Post.”

Oh, look, me drawing 2/3 of the Poly Trio for once instead of Saeran and Lila. I know, what a rare treat. I also just think cute when I imagine Saeyoung lifting Judas around because really, honestly, the man deserves to be adored just as much as he adores Saeyoung and Minji. Hopefully I’ll get around to a single piece with Saeyoung and Minji soon.

TFW your tall girlfriend has to bend down so you guys feel better about yourselves. I’m kidding, kidding. Taken Five Seconds before disaster because why are you three just taking selfies outside of the cult? Who doesn’t love the Poly Trio? Honestly! I wanted to make my own edition of the selfie in Seven’s Route so I did. References are definitely making this easier as I go.

Hi! Im curious about the poly trio (#obviously)
Ive read quite a few of your works, and so i know how they knew each other and fell for each other, but I’m curious about what happened between Saeyoung and Minji that led to Judas’ inclusion. IIRC, Judas was gonna step back and let them do their thing but they pretty much said nope youre in too
I was wondering if you could (or already have and i missed it) explore how that went down a little more. Did Saeyoung and Minji talk about it beforehand? Was it just so natural it was a foregone conclusion?
Thanks for sharing so much of your amazing work with us!! 😍😍
In Petunia, some of this gets covered and talked about but since that story primarily focuses onto Unknown and Lila's relationship, you miss out on some of the key factors of the Poly Trio's gentle dynamic. It's been a while but I have a oneshot plotted out where I explore how that came to be but I just haven't had the time to do it. I need to get on that.
However, I'm happy to talk about it here. You are most definitely right about that specifically. That is what Judas intended to do. He is the one that bridges the gap between them.
He knows them both and he's always felt a pull. In canon, Judas met Minji first. She was walking on the wrong side of town and he didn't want her to get into trouble, so he escorted her back to her house. She was a real sweetheart to him and he couldn't forget her smile. He felt a natural connection to her but at the time, he was so wrapped up in his revenge plan that he's never acted on it.
So he interacted with her one evening about a year before the events of the story take place. He never forgot her face. As you know, Judas is an informant. It's a long story of how he ended up on that point. To give you the long of the short of it, both of his parents wound up leaving him and he had to fend for himself. He was a kid with a really pretty face and by the time he turned eighteen, he was a pretty good pickpocket who knew how to deceive people. One of the people that he targeted happened to be the son of a very influential mafia boss.
That man would have become his boyfriend. This man would specifically train and help Judas to help him ensure he would be able to be the next in line to be in charge.
He fed on Judas' emotions and for a few years, he pretty much emotionally compromised him. That man would do a lot of horrible things and yet, he would give Judas just enough to feel like he was appreciated. This man was not the one building power, it was Judas. He was the one that was taking down people and learning their secrets.
He would use his charm, his body, his everything. All because he thought he was going to be praised by the man that he thought loved him. It wasn't the case.
Because that man decided that once he pretty much was guaranteed to get what he wanted, he stopped hiding how horrible he truly was and Judas would eventually see him cheating. He would get angry and try to lash out at his boyfriend, but it wound up getting him beat within an inch of his life. He did live, and he vowed to destroy everything.
His informant life was built upon the idea of trying to destroy that Mafia Family. He would use his body and everything that he learned against them. He actually got pretty close to ruining everything.
He was so angry and constantly trying to get back at the man that hurt him. But when he finally got close, a hit was put out on his head and Judas couldn't escape it. Keep in mind that he even met Minji during that time.
He managed to make a deal with the agency, though. 3 years of his power and the agency wanted it. Seven and Vanderwood were assigned to get everything out of him and then dispose of him.
Vanderwood wanted to get it done now. But Judas knows how to buy time and he knew what to do. He started giving Seven advice on targets to buy himself time to see what to do. Seven did take the offer, and covered for him because this was another excuse to dodge work and keep the madam at bay.
So, they're living in this grey area where Judas and Seven know that they're destined to kill and be killed. Yet, they're slowly getting closer and closer... Seven feels a spark because he's never had someone validate him like Judas, or even side with him when he's struggling with his sense of self. Judas becomes a confidant. Because he knows how to keep his mouth shut... and if he's supposed to die... well, it won't hurt, right?
The two of them are around each other for roughly 3-4 months before the Apartment incident. By that point, Judas has gotten close to kissing Seven and vice versa. It's a dangerous game they're playing but they just felt that urge growing.
Until one day someone enters the little apartment and Judas narrows his eyes, telling him that "that girl, again? Darling, there's no way she's a hacker or even a menace. She works at a pastry shop and she'd hug a Porcupine because she thinks they're sad they're too prickly for hugs."
So, Judas vouches for Minji, alongside her online handles that clear her from the crime. Seven gets that confirmation and runs with it.
Now, here's the tricky part. Seven and Minji really start going at it on the phone.... a lot, and since Judas is all about body positivity and relationship support, he is honest with Seven and tells him if he likes her, he should take the risk. They talk a lot about that grief and guilt Seven has about not feeling like he deserves to be happy.
Judas chats to her when Seven is working, too, nudging her to take the shot because he sees the tension and he needs them to just kiss.
It seems okay.
Until the bomb happens.
Judas and Seven both storm the apartment... Judas can't stay. Vanderwood would kill him if they got the chance. So, they confront Unknown, Seven breaks down and tries to pull away.
Minji struggles and Judas is her confidant. He coaxes her and urges her to be patient. Minji feels like she can breathe knowing Judas is there and be understands her plight. He's honest with her that he cares greatly for Seven but he knows that the big lug loves Minji inherently. He wants support the two. He wants to see Minji and Seven shine.
God, she kisses his cheek once and he knows it's over for him. She smiles at him and that night when she's really upset, they wind up cuddling. She strokes his hair and he fiddles with the back of her shirt. It feels so good. It may not be quite romantic but they both feel a spark.
"Thank you, Judas."
"Anything for you, Minji, darling. I desire to see you have all you want."
"You're always the charmer, Judas... I swear, you made me heart flutter the first time we met. You know how to use to your words."
"Don't worry, dear. I won't steal your heart."
Quietly, she knows he has.
Minji makes him feel warm and fuzzy inside. Her smile was something that he could never forget. For a man that was so angry and lost to the world, even her smile reached him. Seven was the first person to ever validate his anger. He was the first man to ever look at him and say that he had the right to be pissed. He made to his feel like he was allowed to be himself.
You have to understand that Judas has major fears about relationships. He's scared to get himself involved in that again because it might hurt him. He also doesn't want to hurt other people.
At that moment, even though he feels such a natural desire for the both of them, he doesn't feel like he can do that. He's also not sure that he has the right for it. Even though he's definitely felt tension with the two of them and attraction, he tries to convince himself that the ideal thing to do is to support them.
Judas is really in his head about this. Even as Saeyoung admits that he was wrong and that he needs to work on himself, and Minji starts to become brighter and happier, he feels like even if there's something there, he doesn't have the right to it.
And it's kind of silly, because he's the kind of person that's always very aware of how people are feeling. Yet when it comes to his own feelings he tries to stifle himself.
Even after that confrontation and they all decide to go look for his twin, nobody's really rushing into a relationship, but there is really obvious romantic tension. This all doesn't get addressed properly until the situation in the cabin. Because it's been brewing this entire time.
Judas and Seven wind up having this talk late at night about how they shouldn't take things for granted because they don't know how long they have to live. Judas is the one to tell him to go ahead and take a risk with Minji. Seven is a little hesitant to bridge that gap, but Judas decides to give Seven the confidence to kiss someone and desire them by giving him a warmup.
He asks if he can do something... and then he kisses Seven... a couple of times. Seven is left winded because he's been trying to suppress those feelings about Judas for so long, but damn, he did want that kiss. Judas gently nudges him with a smile, "If you can survive a kiss with me, you can survive kissing Minji."
"Don't you want to..."
"It's alright, darling. I know you love her and she loves you. I would give anything to kiss her and see her shine, myself. But I want you and Minji to be happier then I ever was. That's why I want you to grasp your chance before it's too late."
"...Judas."
"Shoo, shoo. Win her heart."
Judas nudges Seven to go to the other room where Minji is since she’s been resting there for the time being while the two of them were working on these clues per Vanderwood. It’s in that moment that Seven and Minji do wind up kissing again and start really talking about their feelings.
There’s tension, there’s emotion, and there’s everything else in between those things. However, something is... very clearly missing as they’re together, toying the line of intimacy. Minji gives him one look as she rests her forehead against his, “This isn’t right without Judas, too.”
Seven is taken back by that statement because... well, he didn’t realize that she liked Judas like that. He’s still reeling that he was subjected to confronting his own feelings like that for Judas because he had been bottling that shit up for so much longer than he had with Minji’s feelings. As much as he loves Minji, he has to admit to himself that she’s right.
It doesn’t feel right without him.
“You...”
“I heard you kiss him,” she murmured, golden eyes watching him closely. “I’m jealous you got to kiss first. I love you, Saeyoung, but I’ve felt a pull towards Judas since he saved me. Don’t you feel it, too? I’ve heard the way he talks about you, and we’ve... towed a very dangerous line when we’re alone where I almost kiss him myself... if this is our last night, if this is the last time we can be together safely, then I want to be with Judas, too.”
And Seven kisses her, sighing because he knows that she’s right. She’s seen right through him. “You’re right... you’re right. It’s not fair to do this without him here, too.”
Giggling, Minji calls out for Judas and tells him to come there. Judas had settled in the other room of the cabin, staring at his phone as he tried to ignore those buzzing feelings in his guts. Yet, when she calls for him, he doesn’t hesitate to come crawling. Minji springs to her feet and makes sure that he comes to bed, hard to say no to the pretty 5′10ft lady when you’re a lithe 5′6ft pretty boy who is easily lifted.
“Darling, I assumed you were getting what you wanted.”
“Silly, you belong here with us, too. Saeyoung and I want you, too.”
“She’s right.”
So, that night, they all really have long talks, steal kisses, and work on their relationship together... it gets steamy and interesting. So, I hope this gives you a better idea of how it happens. There’s a lot of talking and communication in this relationship and they all have a lot to work on since Judas and Seven are the ones that are stubborn and butt heads a lot.

Hi, I love your poly tri content and I was wondering if you could please write how they would take care of a reader who has a really bad fever and is partially deletions from the fever? I am coming down from a really bad fever, and I was wondering if you could make it fluffy? Please?
The Poly Trio is outright determined to take care of each other. Minji was kind of used to taking care of everyone around her because she spent a good portion of her teenage years taking care of her younger siblings. Judas had learned how to take care of himself at a young age because his parents wouldn’t do anything for him when he was a baby. Saeyoung knew how to fend for himself and his twin to ensure their survival.
A little flu or cold wasn’t going to take any of them down, and it wasn’t going to cause any trouble or get in the way of anything in this bunker! You had nothing to fear and nothing to be frightened of. They were a working team and it didn’t take long for someone to notice you weren’t feeling well.
Judas was the first to notice because he was home with you. He often spent his time lounging around with you because he’d earned that time off after trying his best to protect Saeyoung from harm. He caught you with blurry eyes and a hasty murmur against your lips that said that you were “okay.”
You weren’t okay. He sighed at that lie and immediately pressed it his palm to your forehead. You had a fever, which meant that you needed to get back into bed. “Alright, little darling, you’re going back to bed.”
His immediate action would be to drag you back to bed as soon as possible and get you changed out of your clothes into something fresh. He would let you get some rest for a little bit and sit by your side, running his fingers through your hair and humming underneath his breath to pass the time.
If you woke up, you could have Judas murmuring sweet wishes and promises in your ears to comfort you. If you feel bad enough, he’ll help you into the tub and he’ll spoil you rotten in the bubbles.
Minji would know after Judas texted her while she was working with Jaehee on the job. She would be sure to make a list of things to pick up that you didn’t get on hand in the bunker, like soup or any other little snacks that you like when you happen to be sick.
She’s got a list and she’s going to make sure that she follows it to the letter. It doesn’t matter what Judas or Saeyoung say, she has a routine and she likes to follow it when she’s caring for the people that she loves the most. If she could prepare for a nuclear war in a day, she would. A simple cold means that she gets out of hand.
When she returns home, she’s the one that helps you make sure that you’re eating and getting fluids down. She scolds you for not telling everyone that you were getting sick sooner. This sort of thing requires help as soon as possible, after all!
She coddles you quite a bit, kissing your cheeks and cooing over you as you settle in bed. If you’re able to stomach it, she’ll bring you something sweet to help you feel better.
Saeyoung is the one that brings everyone together at the end of the day after he steps out from his workroom. He finds Minji and Judas curled up with you in bed on either side of you and he sighs at the sight.
He was really caught up in his tasks but he never realized that the three of you would be together before he got the chance to dive in. He thought that only one of them would be tending to you but... well, he had to make up for not being by your side.
He would shrug off his sweater and slowly crawl up into the bed, pooling his body on top of yours. You might groan as he settles against you but you’ll lift your head and see his golden eyes staring into yours with warmth and worry in his heart.
“Sorry to make you wait, little kitten. I’m sure Judas and Minji made sure you were taken care of while I was gone, though. Try to get some more rest, okay? Now I’m going to make sure that you’re safe and sound in dreamland. You get to be the middle spoon tonight.”

It’s biphobic that I’m not in a cuddle pile with minji, Judas and Saeyong as they kiss my nose
Here's a read you might enjoy.
Do you want to be in the middle of a cuddle puddle? Oh, boy, my dear Anon.
Then you need to know how the dynamics work. Everyone rotates their spot now and again so there's an equal turn of who gets to be the one that is smothered and kept warm in the middle, and who gets to go and sprawl
The most common position, however, is Judas curled up in the middle because he's the shorter and he huffs if he can't be touching both of them at the same time.
They humor him. So, you're free to close your eyes and imagine Judas holding you close, your head tucked underneath his chin as you breathe in the spice of his cologne. That would leave Minji curled up behind him with her arm sprawled across you and Saeyoung on the other side.
Meanwhile, Saeyoung is petting your hair and cooing affectionate things next to your ear as you sigh peacefully.

I don’t draw them enough. I sincerely don’t and frankly, let’s start changing that today because the Poly Trio rightfully has earned their spotlight as well. You’ve got to admit that there’s just something really wholesome about two guys trying to learn how to open up not only to themselves, but to each other, and to this girl that means the world to them. Though, no thoughts head empty is surely a good motto to standby.
They’re smart individually but together, it’s a fever dream.

Listen, I hardly ever draw the Poly Trio, but frankly, that’s a crime on my part and I should be ashamed of myself. They’re always my favorites when it come to like relationship dynamics because it’s all over the place. Like, for example, Minji is the tallest in this relationship, then Seven is, and then Judas is. Seven’s the nerd, Judas is the drama queen, and Minji is the most down to earth. Seven is the middle spoon always. There’s plenty to gush about.
He deserves a boyfriend and a girlfriend. He’s got two hands. He should use them.

It wasn’t often that it was the two of them alone.
Life just wasn’t how it used to be, but that wasn’t a bad thing. All that time together felt more like they had been alone. In a way, that wasn’t wrong, he was lost in his anger and vengeance, and she was caught up in her jealousy and the twisted means of protection.
Faraway was the time spent alone in that room. Suffocating and isolating four walls even though they were merely a few feet apart back then. Now, it actually felt like they were together in the same room. Sure, things were a little different than they once were, but he wasn’t upset about it.
Although it hadn’t been his choice to turn away from that life, he was... okay that someone had dragged him out when they did. Had they not done that, he would have not been able to go on living after seeing the blood on his hands. Her blood on his hands.
Sometimes, it felt like his hands were still coated in that sticky ember, but when he looked or scrubbed, it wasn’t there. It just felt like it was. He supposed that it was the price of living. It was only a blessing that Lila hadn’t died back then, he’d not take her commitment for granted.
Not now, not ever.
It was hard to say, but, he felt grateful that he was alive.
“You know, I can’t remember the last time that they all left the bunker at the same time,” her voice caught his attention, and when he turned to face her, her forehead bumped against his. Rather than pull away, her hand tentatively raised to brush his cheek.
“He thinks we need a babysitter,” Saeran snorted. It was a bitter sound, but not as bitter as it might’ve been in the past. There was always one of them around no matter what happened, be it Minji, Judas, or Saeyoung. It went without them having to say it. They might have trusted their recovery, but what they probably didn’t trust was an episode.
As if he’d ever lash out and hurt her, or vice versa.
Still, ridiculous as those idiots were, he knew that they meant well. Just like how they meant well whenever they filled the house with the sounds of laughter that felt grating against his eardrums. He wasn’t used to that sound, nor was he used to being around so many people.
“Coming from the man who’s girlfriend holds him by the hood of his jacket when he’s too excited, I don’t think he has much room to talk,” she countered. Leaning forward to meet him, she brushed her lips against his. There was just the faintest taste of strawberry balm faded away after hours of wear and tear.
“I don’t want to think about whatever those idiots are doing,” he corrected her train of thought on the spot. He lifted his hand to brush against the edge of her short curls. She was often ashamed of them, and looked away whenever eyes would linger on her for too long.
She couldn’t hide anymore.
Something that she’d long done even before he’d known her the way that he had. It seemed ridiculous that one of the worries that she had while they were kept apart was that he’d be disinterested in her because she hacked her hair away in the midst of a breakdown.
It was just hair, but, he understood that to Lila, it was a part of her identity. It was something that helped her feel tangible, real, and alive. It wasn’t petty, or some stupid thing like that.
Taking that away had been a self-punishment. Just as he had done to himself by clawing at his arms when he found himself in a trance of anger or a memory that would not go away. They both had a lot to work on and see through, but even if they were... a mess, at least they were a mess together.
“Oh?” she asked. “What were you thinking of, then?
The glimmer in her eyes sparkled with something dangerously unspoken. She was daring him to try something. Saeran would give her credit for one thing, she was incorrigible and no matter what happened or how tired she was, that part of her personality stayed the same.
He opened his mouth to respond but the heavy door lock from the the other side of the room clattered open as if someone had kicked it. He took one look in the direction and narrowed his eyes, already exasperated by what he saw.
His idiot brother carrying Judas without a care in the world as Minji chatted to him as if that was something normal to do with your partner(s) only to call out when they made eye contact. “Don’t worry, kids, we’re home—!”
Of course, Saeyoung probably didn’t expect to see Saeran or Lila that close to each other and he literally dropped Judas with open hands as he pressed those hands to his mouth, “Oh my God, we interrupted their date night! Quick, abort mission, we need to go back outside!”
Judas hit the floor with a thud, and gasped, glaring at the redhead as he hit his leg hard. “You asshole, you dropped the baby!”
Saeyoung snapped his head back down and cocked his head, “When did we get a baby?”
“I’m the baby!” he growled, his blue eyes narrowed. “If you want to cart me around like a rag doll, the least you could do is treat me with some respect and care, I am a delight! I am your boyfriend! I am the best thing you have apart from Minji!”
Minji had hobbled over next to him, but not to help him, she was too busy laughing. She couldn’t stop laughing, to be specific, she clutched at her sides and wheezed, unable to believe her boyfriends were doing this right now once again. Knowing them, this happened seven times already.
“This house is a fucking nightmare,” he grumbled.
“At least, they forget about us this time,” Lila supplied with a reassuring smile, meant to make him feel somewhat better. He wouldn’t lie and say that he it did nothing, because it did at least remind him that someone knew that this mess was not normal.
He wasn’t in the mood to stick around this time.
“You wanna head out and get some ice cream until they collect themselves?”
“You read my mind.”

Ihhh can I please request the poly with an mc who does wear a bra but instead wears corsets daily. Sorry if this is weird but I absolutely love corsets and I only wear a bra if necessary cause I switched over to corsets, and honestly my back has thanked me for it. Sorry if I was rambling
Oh, oh, oh. Judas is whole-heartedly supportive of you from the start. He’s glad to see that you’ve embraced some style into your wardrobe. He’s got a few that he wears himself with his own outfits, everyone knows that if he has the choice in the matter, he’s going to look princely. So, expect this man to start making a lot of outfit choices so you can either match or complement each other. He’ll be there to gloat to the others that you both look so damn good, it’s a shame that not everyone gets to see it.
Minji thinks it's delightful that you’ve made some outfit changes for your health and comfort. She’s very supportive of the idea. She’s never considered it for herself since she tends to prefer looser clothing with soft textures, but, hey, she is there to compliment you and tell you how much brighter you look wearing them all the time. It may convince her to try it out herself now and again to see how it makes her feel.
Saeyoung is somewhere in between how Minji and Judas are. He’s just happy that you feel better about your body. It’s easier to sweep you off your feet and dote on you whenever you smile broadly and feel good about your body. He’s the kind of guy to dote on you and kiss you more when you look so bright about things. He and Judas are relentless with compliments and passion.

How do Judas and Minji react to being called ‘dad/mom’ for the first time?
Also, how does Saeyoung react to not being called either? Because I might call him mom when I’m annoyed but not consistently like the others
Minji relishes the attention because hey, this is a compliment. It means that any person that says that thinks that she’s really nice and caring. She had a normal childhood so really, it’s not a big deal to her when someone does that. She just laughs and says that you should really be careful calling her that because she’s known to take things seriously when it comes to caring for others. So, you really need to prepare yourself for when she reminds you to eat. There’s no escape from that.
Judas would be... well, we all know that he’s got parent issues. His mommy issues are far stronger than his daddy issues. He’s okay looking out for others but he’s got a deer in the headlights look on his face when you call him that name. Fuck, now he’s stuck looking after you because he’s not going to leave anyone who—... this issue is a bit too deep-seated. Just know that he’s quite for a while, then he decidedly says, “Of course, you think that of me. I suppose we’ve coddled you too much.”
Saeyoung’s got his own range of parental issues but I don’t think he’d let it get to him like that because he does want to be a parent himself at some point in his life and there’s no denying the glimmer of amusement on his face if you call him mom. You know he enjoys when people call him miss or a woman now and again simply because we see him as a genderfluid icon around here and he’s rarely receiving she/her pronouns and when he does, oh boy, he’s buzzing. If you call him dad, here comes the dad jokes. He will not stop teasing you, but honestly? He thinks it’s a compliment.
