Just a quick note of thanks to [ungender name] for her consistently impeccable behaviour and manners whenever using the LRC (the library), including After School Prep (fancy words for when i have to stay in school late so we all go into the library and do homework). Since first coming in the LRC in Prep School (primary school, i joined this school in year 6), [ungender name] has been an exemplar in both her behaviour and attitude, making excellent use of LRC resources, returning or renewing her books on time, asking politely and clearly whenever she needs help or advice. Anyways ngl this banner is an easy skip for me. The only unit I’d summon for is Innes and he’s the TT.

All in all I’m not a huge fan of the baby banners. They’re now on trend to be ridiculously busted every year, but like not in a fun way in a “power creep is here to spit in your face just in case you managed to forget it existed for more than thirty seconds” way

And I think the designs are just. Really uninspired. Aside from some slightly different clothes it’s literally just their base versions drawn significantly smaller and given cutesy childish voices. I get that they still want them to be recognizable, especially for characters that haven’t had canon child depictions, but you can change up their hair and even their outfits a little. I don’t know anyone that still wears their hair the same way as they did when they were 7 lmao. Minimitri -> Acadimitri -> Adultmitri are all still very recognizable as Dimitri even with wildly different clothing and hairstyles it’s not that hard.

Know what’s super underrated in this fandom? How easy it is to portmanteau Dimitri’s name with stuff.

Kid Dimitri? Minimitri. Academy Dimitri? Acadimitri. Dimitri as a mom? Momitri. Dimitri fucking every man in Fódlan? Haremitri.

reasons why I think dimitri is trans:

- catherine mistook him for a girl as a child as stated in their C support

- edelgard's goddess tower scene never mentions the gender of the noble she says is her first love

- edelgard says that only her parents and closest sisters were the ones who called her el

- minimitri's haircut threw me off too, i also thought he was a girl (sorry dimi)

I agree with you, of course Dimitri’s instructors would be responsible for setting him up to do crazy shit when he was a kid, but yeah my point still stands. If it was still only Dimitri’s instructors and not every combat instructor in Faerghus then it still just makes them assholes, not a widespread cultural issue.

I pointed out the healthy limits thing because Dimitri still pushes himself well into adulthood and doesn’t question it being weird or unhealthy, and people, of course, use that as ~proof~ Faerghus is toxic despite it probably just being a product of his childhood training and/or some personal work ethic of his.

Also you went with “kid-Mitri” when “Minimitri” is right there?

Oh yeah thats absolutelty why there's so much criticism of Faergus. I actually do think its a harmful society (seeDimitris supports w Raphael) but so it the Empire and its culture of corruption n extreme sexism that isnt ever brought up

See the issue is that the game doesn’t make clear whether this stuff is cultural, or if this stuff is just Dimitri being Dimitri. Running around all night in heavy armor? Instead of, you know, sleeping? That’s kind of fucked up. But is that all children from Faerghus do, or is that just something that Dimitri does? Because I don’t recall any other character from Faerghus discussing insane training regiments like that, and we know for a fact that Dimitri loves pushing himself far beyond what any human being would consider a healthy limit.
