isn’t it kinda absurd that the only loot you find in nether fortress chests is horse armor? you know, those animals that don’t exist in the nether??? is there really nothing else that could serve as good loot??

a somewhat niche mcyt phenomena i absolutely love is when a cc who only really does a very specific type of gameplay plays the normal vanilla game and becomes absolutely enchanted with everything they discover, like mogswamp on the sos smp and rtgame with his let’s play. there’s so much negativity about minecraft’s updates and developmental choices that it’s so nice to be able to watch someone fall completely in love with just the base game all over again

What if Minecraft had Ender Chest variants you could trim with ore the same way you do armor, but each one was its OWN unique Ender Chest inventory per color, per player! Then hypothetically there is a final, specifically, special rainbow one that is (Wither) Star Trimmed, that opens to a big scrollable menu of not just one, BUT ALL the other different colors unique Ender Chest inventories AT ONCE.

Imagine, if you had the 1 OG vanilla Ender Chest, plus a new colored variant with its own unique inventory per each currently available trimming material in the game, plus 1 for a pink variant using Dragon's breath and plus another special rainbow variant that would be 12 different Ender Chest Inventories, plus 1 that accesses them all. Think of it like subject folders in school, but your rainbow folder can pull things out of either your green science folder, *or* your yellow math folder. It would reallllly funny because you basically could get the ability to carry 8748 stacks of 64 or 559872 single Blocks in just 1 chest with the Star Trimmed Ender Chest being able to access ALL your other ender chests if it could work that way.

So like this one update, it would fix minecraft's currently broken inventory management and you could actually have a bunch of space on the player to organize a whole lotta varieties of different blocks and items, without having to waste hours running around organizing chest, and sorting your inventory. That would also be a dream come true for a builder like me who uses a LOR of different varieties of blocks/items for giant sized mega builds, and it would be cool as heck to be able to gather a plethora of resources of a giant build without ever worrying about running out of space. Also I think the expensive cost with needing an upgrade template plus the needed trimming materials, would make the trimmed Ender Chests balanced.

Anyways just a thought.,

Look here’s the thing is it’s the rarest armor trim for a reason because it cleared the buffet. it ate.

Finally found the Silence armor trim, it looks so cool on netherite with quartz trim details ⭐️

thinking about the upcoming minecraft update that adds armor trims (among other things) and how i need to go into overdrive getting myself a complete netherite gear set asap before i am hit with needing over 100 diamonds to make One Set.

to start with, for a full set of diamond armor you need 24 diamonds (helmet is 5, chestplate is 8, pants are 7, boots are 4)

you'll need upgrade tablets to change diamond armor into netherite (plus the netherite ingot). every item piece needs a tablet as they're consumed on use. each tablet uses 7 diamonds to "copy" (craft a second of the same tablet). 28 diamonds for 4 tablets for just your armor, an additional 35 for your tools (pick, shovel, axe, sword, hoe, unless you're like me and have TWO picks then it'll be 42 diamonds).

and THEN to apply the new -trims- you'll need more tablets of the designs you want, which are also consumed on use and cost 7 diamonds per to craft, another 28 for 4 armor pieces.

that is a total of 115 diamonds to make one set of netherite armor and gear.

meanwhile on a fresh multiplayer server after hours spent spelunking i have found... One Diamond.

the diamond economy is going to be in shambles.

Thanks to the adventuring capabilities of @indigoforiver, we were able to get at least one of every single armor trim on our current survival world! Indigo also got me the enchanted diamond armor sets from her villager trading hall, so after tons of strip mining and exploring for diamonds and more armor trim copies, I finally trimmed up a full set of armor for each trim! They are on display in my pagoda, and I've installed a written book that tells you which trim set is which - spyglass included to get a closer look!
