I apologize for this being so late. But I’ve been doing better lately, drawing more and more every day. I hope to have the next part out soon as possible!  I did decide to drop putting in lots of Irken text for the readers to translate… What’s fun for me isn’t always fun for other people and I can respect that. I’ll still put some in form time to time, but I’ll put in translations under a readmore.

I haven’t been drawing as much thanks to working full time but I have been slowly getting back into things. So have a couple of unfinished pieces of Zim and the Tallest from two different AUs I hand been working on. I am just a sucker for animalistic designs on Irkens. I’ll get around to finishing the top ref after a bit, I had to take a break from it to finish my boyfriends new sona Ref and also finish a could projects I am working with @pikashoes on.

I still live I promise. As always holidays are hectic and having a full time job is taking up most of my time. But I am setting a goal for myself to do at least one drawing a day in a sketchbook. Why not start the first page with putting my recent obsession Invader Zim in some of my cloths.

How did I have over 100 messages on this blog that I never even knew about D: Sorry to anyone who sent me something that I never responded to. For some reason I never saw them or for the ones I did I just didn’t get around to responding and I suck so I would forget about them. That being said, sadly my ask blogs kind of died off life got in the way and I had to back off of a lot of things I was working on.  I want to come back to art and make something of it but recently I am unsure about posting some of my sketches (which have been Invader Zim focused recently) but have been nervous about posting things that are not 100% canon compliant. I should probably just post them because I like them and they are for me so who really cares if they are not 100% canon. Yet my anxiety tells me not to bother so I am not sure ;u;

I haven’t much of anything on my accounts. I was trying to post sketches to my Instagram that is under the same name (GuildedDaemon I use the same name for 90% of my stuff). My FurAffinity I need to post more but haven’t sadly in 9 months there. Sadly working over 40 hours a week killed a lot of my want to draw, but now that I am falling into a stable work schedule and my life is back on track I am trying to get back into working on things.

Had been watching DuckTales with @maliklucas. He ended up suggesting I draw our characters as Indiana Jones and Scrooge McDuck. I'm actually quite happy with how it turned out.

A little insite

I'm seeing a lot of shit going on my dash about toys r us returning. Everyone is bashing the company and getting in an uproar. I understand because of how the employees were treated, I was one of those employees that stayed until my store closed. But what I dont think people are realizing, its not the same owners. Its being rebranded by a prior CEO.

We knew of two people who wanted to buy the intellectual property for TRU and bring it back once the bankruptcy was completed. We knew one of them would succeed. At my store we were even talking about the prior CEO (not the one who took a chunk of money from the bankruptcy and ran) buying the rights, rebranding the name, opening pop up express stores during the holidays and come January reopen brick and mortor stores. Guess what we are seeing now. EXACTLY THAT. This is not the guy that took what was it 13million and ran. The people who owe the employees money, from what i have read, are not the ones bringing back Geoffrey.

On the thing about people wishing the stores in other countries will fail, those stores are their own thing. The Canadian stores were bought out by vendors and from what I could tell that happened to other branches as well. Every branch was set to close not just the US branch in the begining. Then slowly we heard of the other locations staying open for one reason or another.

In short, this is something that was bound to happen. The intellectual property was already in the works of being sold as the stores were closing. We didn't think much of the selling of the name being big news. We only "care" about the "come back".
