go check out the snapshot because their is also a lot of stuff to do with mob drops for spawners and piglins! As well as new loadstone recipe, new iron sound, and pale oak mansions!

So a lot of new shit dropped in the latest Minecraft update but obviously I only care about the pigs. Let's discuss breeds!

Starting off with the original pig just because— this little guy's probably a Landrace pig!

They're some of the most standard domestic pigs out there along with Yorkshires, but Yorkshires have perkier ears. Landrace pig ears lay flat much more similarly to our Minecraft pigs!

Next we have the warm pigs. These babies are probably Durocs!

Look how red and beautiful they are! There aren't many common red pigs, so it was really between these guys and Tamworths. Tamworths are an Irish breed, so they don't come from a particularly hot climate. Durocs however originated from Africa from what I researched!

And finally we have the cold pigs. These guys are most definitely Mangalicas!

These guys are like. One of the most prominent breeds with thick creamy hair to keep them warm. They're also Hungarian! They're also my favorite pig breed!!!!!

there's currently a suggestion about the new minecraft update on twitter to add some additional stuff to the new pale garden biome, and one of those things is a soul fire jack o' lantern (in a white pumpkin) and if that gets added, i need an advancement for making it solely for it to be a minecraft story mode reference. i don't care that "collecting a pumpkin" isn't a challenge, i need [I Am The White Pumpkin] or [What Color is Winslow?] in the game as an advancement.

While it feels kind of ''mod-like'' almost every new thing in the game does, thats just how it is, it's new. I am all for minecraft making new ambience and aethetic tweaks and adding stuff from the real world!

this *firefly bush* block generates near rivers and in swamps. firefly particles appear near them at night. (EDIT: the firefly particles appear when the bush is *in the dark,* not only at night)

along with fireflies, new cow variants! warm and cold, just like pigs

all the new cows, and the old ones now have 3d noses

*another* new plant too! bushes that don't come with fireflies

final major addition was ambient sandy sounds for deserts and mesas

found in Plains, Windswept Hills, Windswept Gravelly Hills, Windswept Forest, River, Frozen River, Forest, Birch Forest, Old Growth Birch Forest!

NEW COWS!!!

much like pigs a few updates back there are new cows! along with an update to the cows moddle with the addition of a snout!

these cows can be found similarly in temperate, cold, and warm biomes!!!

so fucking hyped for the wolf variants it's great it's good i love to see it BUT i am so fucking serious when i say that wolves should be able to be bred like horses. they have the mechanic already we know they can code it. let me make absolute war machine beasts please i beg of you mojang i can be trusted with them and will Totally Not Use Them For PvP Crimes
