sometimes i black out and wake up 10 hours later with a build in creative and other times i have to fight tooth and nail to get it done. this build was a bit of both, the creative process was GRUELING, but the actual build itself was relatively pleasant! in total I think this build probably took me about 25 hours, and I think it turned out well :)

Little Forest Houses

Here's my latest build! A set of little houses to go with the rest of my burgeoning forestry camp.

The houses themselves are inspired by the gasshō-zukuri houses of Historic Villages of Shirakawa-gō and Gokayama (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Historic_Villages_of_Shirakawa-g%C5%8D_and_Gokayama, https://www.kanpai-japan.com/shirakawa-go)

This was built on the server hosted by twitch streamer CakeJumper! It's an excellent community full of wonderful people.

i realized i never posted photos of my minecraft house builds!!! and home design is my favorite artform :)

i made this house a while ago in modded minecraft! but something failed w a few mods and this world and all the cute builds in it are inaccessible :( all the cool pet snakes and lizards i had in that world aaaaa !!!! i believe there is only One painting in this house that wasnt made by me, dont remember the name of it but its the only one that isnt of my on ocs.
