We did some reconstruction for reenie today. She was amazed at how little pain she felt during her session and had the brightest energy all session long. She loves @mindyfoster ginger corn dread beads- she selected a hand crocheted red one to adorn her locs. She’ll be back next month for a touch up. By @mindyfoster via @RepostWhiz app: Sadly everybody on this planet has had somebody try to tear them down at one time or another. And sadly many people take those negative actions to heart and begin to feel insecure and unworthy. It can literally ruin someone's life forever, unless they learn the truth. I truly believe a lot of it has to do with the upbringing of the individual. People that didn't have anyone in their lives growing up that made sure they knew how incredible and perfect that are, just the way they are are likely to be products of this behavior. I also know people that had this kind upbringing and chose to take a different path and realize that coming from something like that is not who they are or need to be. That shows incredible strength. Whether you had the perfect childhood or a horrible childhood, just know your worth and do not let anybody tear you down. It's the people that try to tear you down that are miserable themselves, and typically do things like that to make themselves look and feel better. I live with one of those people for many years. And unfortunately I came to believe I was that person that he treated me to be. But by the grace of God and my amazing husband now, I quickly turned that around and I now know my worth and my purpose and how important I am to the people around me... and nobody will be able to hurt my self-worth ever again. I still have people try to tear me down, and honestly I just laugh in their face. It's actually flattering because those people obviously feel that there's something better about me than them. At the same time it makes me sad that people have to be so vindictive towards other people. I often wonder, what has happened to them that makes them so mean and angry.?.?. I know I can't fix everybody or change the entire world, but I can pray for those people, and be kind and loving towards them.
