Thought Replacement Page

There are a few ways you can do this page. You can use the Mind Over Mood method. This method has you write down and analyze your thoughts using simple steps.

1. Write down the irrational thought
2. Write down how it makes you feel
3. List evidence in support of and against this thought
4. Find an alternative or rebuttal to the thought
5. Write down how this new thought makes you feel 

This method is useful for coming up with an alternative if you can’t easily come up with one. 

If you can come up with rebuttals you can also just make a chart like the one above. Often it can be helpful to use alternatives that come from outside your brain, like from a close friend or loved one. That way your brain cannot dismiss it as readily
