This is homemade bread. Devan made it, using very few ingredients. She used my grandpas bread pan and it turned out extra special and tasted dang close to what I remember him pulling out of the oven many many times. The look of it even reminds me of what his bread was like. Keeping these types of foods in your diet is so important and satisfying. Those carbs that everyone always tells you to stay away from aren’t THESE type of carbs. Using whole ingredients that aren’t processed makes a world of difference when it comes to the taste as well as how your body reacts to it once it’s ingested. Ending my day with this sweet bowl of strawberries, pepitas, hemp hearts and oats was so yummy. All the textures fit so well with one another. It was extra special because it was put in a bowl made by my daughter @_rooskie_101_ Taking the time to put together your food may seem ridiculous to some, but being able to be mindful and gather the ingredients has a very soothing quality and for me allows me to enjoy the food that much more. Appreciating what this food is giving me and taking it all in. Not that it happens ALL the time, but I do have to say when i take the time to slow down while making my food, it seems to come back to me in other karmic ways.
