If I have to take anyone, I’d rather it not be from engineering.” The truth was, of course, that everyone else in engineering was far more capable of handling any sort of combat situation than he was, but he still didn’t like the idea.

Dropping Threads

// Here’s what’s up. I have... too many threads on this blog. It’s making me lose interest in the threads I genuinely want to do. A lot of them aren’t even my turn, but just seeing them in my ThreadTracker makes me antsy. (ThreadTracker is lovely for many reasons, especially in these dark notification-less times, but I do sort of hate how it makes everything you’re involved in stare you in the face.)

So in the interest of keeping my RP time fun and stress free, I am dropping threads, and in the interests of actually communicating with my partners, I am making a list here so we’re all on the same page.

The most likely reasons I am choosing these threads to drop:

it’s been months since anyone responded and I don’t know what’s going on anymore

it feels repetitive, very similar to another thread we already have

we have a lot of threads together and it’s a tiny bit overwhelming

I’m just not feeling it and don’t have a particular reason why :(

If you have any questions, message me. If you’re really really attached to something here, please let me know and I’ll see what we can do. And if I’ve dropped our only thread, by all means come start something new with me <3

Character in general: Listen..I love Iris... I love the way she clashes with Paul and also the way she’s just tryina be good and do good and make sure everyone’s safe? And how she makes sure Paul doesn’t get himself killed ///: even if he hates that so much.How they play them: She’s an oc so of course I can’t really say of course so I’m gonna go ahead and give it a 12/10 because I can. Cause I mean even if there isn’t any canon to compare to she’s still well written and being an oc automatically makes it perfect anyway.The Mun: LOVE HIM. I love writing with him so much and I love his characters. I love talkin to him about whichever blog he’s on at the moment. And he’s super nice? Our first interaction was him telling me I wasn’t being as awful as I thought and like?? I love him.

TO SAY AT THE LEAST; ALANA BLOOM WAS ABSOLUTELY EXHAUSTED. It was one of those days where so much happened that you feel like you didn’t get the chance to accomplish a single thing; not to mention some of her patients were having very bad days, and on a day like today it weighed heavily on her.

But when she comes home and sees Iris sitting on the couch, she drops everything and curls up beside her, leaning her head against her shoulder. Alana didn’t even have to say anything----she knew Iris would know she was EXHAUSTED.
