Hit Minamicon 2024 as everyone's favourite freeshooter and facility defender. Monstrous characters as fashion cosplays are always a personal favourite.

(And hey, if you like ProjMoon and TTRPGs I wrote one inspired by Library of Ruina and Paranomal Mystery stories called Stories of the Singularity. We did an Actual Play stream of it which whipped ass. We've not worked on it for a while but I'd totally do an itchio release if enough folks want to see it polished~)

Auntie Kassy's picked up a new hobby! (Forgive how terrible the pictures are, I took them on my tablet) So @soralivana and I were at Minamicon a little while ago and she wanted to go to the cross-stitching panel. Despite it being her idea, I think I enjoyed it more. The next weekend I grabbed some cheap materials at the local arts and crafts store to mess around with. Despite cross-stitches reputation, I've actually been enjoying it! Its surprisingly therapeutic :) Once ive done the undertale crew, ill try my hand at something more complicated. Wish me luck!

Minamicon Update

Convention 1/3 of this month is over and the post con blues is hitting me hard as I panic make 3 prints (and one gift exchange) for tomorrow  before I fly to Germany to sell at LBM. 

It was so much fun and befriended so many new people that sparked motivation in me to put more love into my OC’s and to strive to improve my craft. Fandom zines aside I’m promising myself to work on a sketchbook compilation zine of some of my favourite sketchbook pages, start arranging a monster boy zine with a group of very awesome and talented friends as well  as do a 28-30 page one shot comic set in the universe of one of many of my stories. They don’t exactly have time constraints and limits yet but its a good few goals to start with. 

In the downtime I did get some of the commission sketches done but wont be able to scan and slap shading on them till next Tuesday or Wednesday. 

Oh right, back onto the con update, I had so much fun and nostalgiad hard during the 90′s anime panel and I forgot how much I used to love dominion tank police haha. 

Also after winning the Iron artist title this year the whole con knows I’m trash. Half the audience were amused by my trash entry and my friends were cackling because the shirtless nautical space sphinx had ‘me’ stamped all over it haha. 

I’m really hoping LBM in Leipzig goes well, I haven’t done that convention yet so I’m a little nervous but if any of you guys are attending I’ll be sharing a table with @alyssartblog  (I think the table is booked under her name), however I will put a notice up once I know the table plan and where to find us both :3

Apparently it’s the year anniversary of Yuri On Ice?? I’ve still not seen it!! But I ADORE these cosplays that Infinite Jester Cosplay (Victor) and Pandora-Chi Cosplay (Yuri) made for Minamicon this year, the detail on them was absolutely incredible, and I was lucky enough to shoot with them for a bit! I highly recommend checking out their cosplay pages because they have SO many amazing YoI cosplays and photos. <3 <3 <3
