Such a filthy mutt can't be trusted to bathe itself. They start associating the bath and getting soaped up with the showerhead pointed at their puppy parts and your fingers filling him. Soon the suggestion of a bath has your pup involuntarily hard and dripping, he starts bringing you a washcloth when he isn't even dirty to see if he can get pinned in the tub by a bigger dog

Training your pup that getting clean is a reward, but also training them to depend on you for their basic needs like a bath is so *chefs kiss*

YOU ARE SO CORRECT ABOUT KEYLETH <3 It is a misunderstanding of Vax's role and duty, but I think there is an element of longing and attachment she cannot let go from which leads her to that belief. Whether a small part of her does know it and she keeps trying to search for a loophole or a chance that it might not be so, or if she is in denial, or if she cannot make herself understand I don't know, but whatever it is GOD is it masterfully heartbreaking

Oh man, anon, hard agree with all of this. Like I said, I do not blame Keyleth (nor Vex, who struggles with his loss too!) in the slightest for feeling like she does. How in the world could you ever get closure for this? Especially now, when every day is centered on the very existence of the gods you never trusted nor understood! The grief and emptiness of never truly getting to come to terms with your loved one's choice, and how hard it is to hear that he would choose this again.

If you're a TMA fan and you like stuff that obviously was inspiration for JonMartin, you should definitely read the book Haunting of Hill House (not the movie or show because none of them are really faithful adaptations.) It's about a lonely woman named Eleanor who decides to take a job investigating ghosts, after her in-firmed mother dies. Part of the job entails living in a Haunted House, and once she's there, she meets another woman, Theodora, who's fresh off a break up, definitely gay, and may or may not have psychic powers.

Like Eleanor Vance is one of those characters that you can just see Martin's DNA in. Recollection feels like it came right out of The Haunting of Hill House. (I'm also 100% certain the House on Hilltop Road is a reference to The Haunting of Hill House.) The book is a very quick (and very scary) read, I highly recommend. Though unfortunately probably not as wholesome as Sam and Frodo.

OOC: Hello. It's been awhile, and I'm not sure if people remember this blog. Originally Milo Answers was created as a fan project for the webcomic "what happens next," but overtime, art got more challenging to create for it, and asks came in less and less. This was never intended to be a roleplay. Ask blogs and RPs are different, but if I listed reasoning for this the post would get super long.

So this marks the end of Milo Answers. If you enjoyed it, I'm sorry. Max Graves never really acknowledged it much apart from a few instances, and communication with him became sparse as well. I originally created it because of something distressing he posted on twitter a few years ago that sounded like he might give up making art entirely. My intention here, more or less, was to create something that whn fans would enjoy participating in, could send theories to, and discuss at large. But that never really happened. You'd think it would've, given how many conversations are held about it in the comments section on the webcomic hosting site. People removed links to Milo Answers from whn's tvtropes article, even though MA has a page itself there... that counts as an answer.

I'll also admit this was done for a selfish reason. I am a webcomic artist myself, and in part, it was because of resentment. Nothing against Max personally; he is a talented artist and has been nothing but gracious in his replies. I highly enjoyed working on this project. The fact that he not only took it seriously but promoted it on twitter still means a lot as well. Stockholm Cat Syndrome hasn't received an update in years because of the lack of an audience- it's a decade old, but there is virtually no discussion, fanart, or anything that would make that project easier for me to continue working on. People aren't reading it anymore. Conversely, what happens next has only been running for three years but has gotten extensive coverage, fanart, etc. An entire fanbase developed on twitter and tumblr, mainly in part due to popularity. This probably sounds spiteful. Though I still appreciate whn for what it is and am not owed anything, the worship of it got kind of irritating overtime. It was hard not to think of the state of my comic after hiatus whenever I read those discussions. But instead of complaining, I got the idea to make something based on it, to interpret the characters based off candid personal experiences while still respecting the source material. That's how this blog came into existence. When the amount of asks dwindled, it became pretty frustrating, and making surreal posts was sort of a desperate move to get people interested that didn't work. I grew up using sites like tumblr, reading MLP ask blogs (I used to run one called Ask Fruity Fusion in 2012), so whn's take on internet subcultures as well as sites dedicated to harassment more or less hit home for me. It is still something I can appreciate after multiple readings. For many readers, the comic touched them as well, bringing people together from different places.

This is an addition I'm hesitant to make here, but on lol/cow farm, there's a thread dedicated to critiquing whn. I'm not sure if Kiwi F/arms created an actual one as well, but continuing to run this blog puts me at risk of real harassment. I've included slashes here in order to make the post harder to search for so that people participating in the "lolcow" thread won't find it, though that's likely not going to stop them from making screencaps or mocking what I've said here.

If people want this blog to continue, let me know and I'll consider running it. I was thinking of doing something like making Prequel Adventure-esque character sprites that would simplify responses. But for now, MA is over.

okay so in first place we got sting (he does them for fun, please sting stop showing this as a party trick) second is wendy (she can do them well due to having to due to her magic) third is cobra (he will never reveal he can) fourth is natsu (he cannot do a backflip but can do a double back flip in the sorts of turning around and flipping someone off) fifth is rogue (saw when sting tried to do one when learning n don't wanna get injured as bad as sting did) sixth is laxus (he never has tried to learn how to do one) and in last place, its gajeel (poor buddy he doesnt know how to do one at all)

Speaking of expressions of love, it's so fascinating to me that one of the key ways Liam's characters express love through every campaign, is by physically making themselves a shield against anything that can harm the people they love.

Vax making a deal with the Raven Queen to save Vex, and getting directly in Vecna's face in the final battle to keep the focus on him.

And, of course, Orym's Bait and Switch, as well as making the deal with Nana Mori.

Even in the oneshot Liam did, the fictional version of himself stayed in suspended animation for ages, I believe, in order to protect his friends.

If you want to go after Liam's friends, you have to go through him first, and it makes me so emotional all the time!

Oh man, anon, same!! The throughline of Liam's characters is that they are absolutely made of love and this whole venture is for the love of his friends.
