OH YEAH ALSO finally watched the FNAF movie with the coolest person on Earth, 11/10 movie, Mike looked ready to curl up into a fetal position on the floor and burst into tears at all moments, he is so me, would watch again
#fnaf#fnaf movie#five nights at freddy's#mike schmidt#anyway. i loved the end scene where the four of them do the thing with afton#i was also extremely glad the springlock scene was very palatable and not gory or overly vivid because i can't and won't watch that stff#when i tell you i HOLLERED when cory showed up. almost cried. my BOY#cory is the king of youtube fr fr. nobody does it like him#he's on a hiatus again but we the samurai will patiently wait for the shogun's return#i am getting off-topic. matpat's nametag said “ness” which was extremely funny#afton was in literally two maybe three scenes tops which i was not expecting but he stole the show ofc. very spazzy. dig it#vanessa was so mysterious??#i kinda loved her and mike's dynamic though. so very silly the pair of them (running from real-life manifestations of fictious characters)#I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW FOXY WAS IN THE MOVIE. THAT MADE ME SO HAPPY#foxy's always been my favorite. my boy. he can have a little murder. as a treat#VANESSA HAD A GUN!! VERY COOL AND GOOD#she barely even shot afton though. honeybun literally had the upper hand by a mile#that man did not have a long-range weapon. he was entirely at her mercy. if she'd shot him all the animatronics would've instantly helped#still like her for some reason though. she permanently has the default sim expression etched on her face#also i don't know if y'all saw but in the credits it says foxy's humming was my boy kellen goff!!#mike was so STRESSED and so DISTRACTED the ENTIRE TIME i see so much of myself in him#can we also agree josh hutcherson looks great with a goatee like that is eons ahead of the peeta look (never read/watched himger gims ok)

Something completely unrelated to anything but it's been a bad couple of days and I needed something to laugh at.
Starts out with Kathy coming home after taking William from school and going shopping.
I have no idea of Geoff's preferences on milk.
***
Kathy was unbagging groceries in the kitchen when Geoff came up behind her. "Hey beautiful."
She smiled without turning around. "Hi. How's work going?"
"It's going." He put his hands on her shoulders and began to rub little circles on her neck with his thumbs. "How was shopping?"
She sighed and leaned forward a little. "They were all out of almond milk."
"Two percent will do."
She blinked. "Really? You hate two percent."
"I have other things to think about." He gently turned her around. "Like the pretty little woman in front of me." He kissed her forehead.
Oh, he's in a mood. "I have to finish putting the groceries away."
"Later." He lifted her up to sit on the counter and kissed her lips.
She sighed and kissed him back. "All right. But don't complain when the butter melts." She put her arms around his neck as they kissed back and forth. After a few kisses his hands gently held her waist and pulled her closer--
"Hey. HEY!" Kathy jumped at the new voice, and her mouth dropped to see a second Geoff walking in. He pointed at the first Geoff with each word. "No. Wrong. Error."
The Geoff holding Kathy scowled. "What do you mean, 'error'? She's my wife!"
"She's as much my wife as she is yours! And we have to eat food prepared on that counter and I don't want to have to sanitize everything again! Take it to the bedroom."
"I can't. Goff's taking a shower in the ensuite."
The second Geoff rolled his eyes. "Then use the living room couch."
"Jeff's on the couch."
A third Geoff's voice yelled from the living room. "And I'm trying to sleep!"
The second Geoff threw his arms out. "It's the middle of the morning!"
Kathy nearly passed out when she saw the third Geoff walk into the kitchen. "And we were up half the night because you wouldn't stop working, Jeoph. It's no wonder our host is starting to burn out."
Jeoph put his hands on his hips and glared at Jeff. "Someone has to. Or are you forgetting how Kathy gets the money to go shopping?"
Jeff opened his mouth, but then Goff walked in wearing nothing but a towel. "Ah, that was invigorating! Nothing like an ice cold shower after a five mile run." He ignored the others as he walked up and kissed Kathy on the cheek. "Hi Kath. Did you get the almond milk?"
"...They were out." Kathy wasn't sure whether to laugh or scream.
"Oh well." Goff walked to the refrigerator. "Banana and kale smoothie it is then." Daryl gagged at that.
Kathy hopped off the counter and walked a few paces away from the group. "...Where's Geoff? The original Geoff?"
"In the studio," the four men replied in unison.
"Right. Thanks." She quickly walked to Geoff's studio as the four kept arguing behind her. When she got there, Geoff was sitting on the floor with a dazed expression on his face. "...Geoff? Are you okay?"
He looked up at her and an almost childlike smile came over his face, but he didn't say anything. Kathy stared at him, unsure of what to do, for several seconds. The sound of the juicer and the four clones arguing came from the kitchen.
Her phone rang, and she saw it was Eli. "Hello?"
"Hi Kathy. Everything okay over there? The four of us were supposed to have a video call and Geoff hasn't joined. He's not answering his phone."
She began to laugh hysterically as the absurdity of the situation set in. "You want to talk to Geoff? Come on over and pick one!"

Thursday 19th December 2024
At sunrise, it seemed unlikely that we would see much of it today. The skies were leaden and overcast, and although the temperatures at 6am were 23 degrees, with a strong breeze off the Pacific, it felt 10 degrees less than that. The tide was just coming in, and there was little movement of small boats as there were on previous days.
Our destination today was 250 km away at Hervey Bay, which is the departure town for Fraser Island, or K'gari, as is the preference now. We wanted to visit this island, and so a convenient stepping off place was necessary. As we drove, the day's weather gradually improved, and with the sun out, temperatures reached into the mid thirties. We chose a route that would take us firstly to Bundaberg. Now we were just a little put off this place, for all the wrong reasons. A little while ago, we were buying a six-pack of beer in a grog shop and were blinded by the array of options. Next to a pack of Great Northern Brewery output was a pack of Bundaberg. The bright yellow cans looked appealing and just a bit different. Different they certainly were, because as soon as the ring was pulled and a small draught decanted, we thought we had stout in the glass, not an IPA! Worse was to come because the taste test proved we had rum and coke, and not particularly nice rum and coke at that! Well, I persevered, and I still have one can of the stuff left that in Martine's clear opinion should be in the bin. So when it was clear we were to drive through the place that produced this horrible liquid, we figured we should just keep going, although as a town, it was actually quite presentable. Very close to Bundaberg, by the sea, was what sounded a nice little place to stop for a coffee; Burnett Heads, and after all, it was only 5 miles up the road. It wasn't long before we could see this was a big mistake. The countryside was flat, uninteresting, windy, and like being on the fens on a bad day. Coupled with a complete lack of cafés. Even the marina yielded no such supping places. We had to settle for a very odd bakery, where a young girl who looked like she ought to be in school, said in a rather assertive, authoritative manner when she had taken the order for 2 coffees, "I need you to stand over there" and pointing! I complied immediately, of course. What do they teach them in school these days? The rest of the intake of customers looked extremely shifty and weird. We were so off the beaten track that I was checking to see if they had 6 fingers. A notice we read outside referred to the community as 'isolated'. The only endearing feature was the old lighthouse. Repositioned to its present spot in 1972 when an automated replacement was constructed.
Our next port of call totally restored our confidence in our ability to find an interesting and comly town. We had heard about Maryborough, of course, and were very keen to visit. Maryborough is the birthplace of Helen Lyndon Goff, better known as PL Travers, author of Mary Poppins. Her full pseudonym, chosen as her stage name, was Pamela Lyndon Travers. Travers was her father's name, and Pamela ensured a good cadence. The museum set up to house memorabilia and tell the story is in the old Bank building that, in an upstairs room in 1899, she was actually born, while her father worked as bank manager downstairs in what was the Australian Stock Bank. This was a charming exhibition of her upbringing, background, and her works. She moved to England in 1923 at the age of 24, which is where she lived most of her life, dying in Chelsea in 1996. Her father had a problem with alcohol, his work suffered, and after demotion to clerk, and a few bank moves to poorer locations, eventually he caught pneumonia and died 3 days later. The family was then destitute, and Helen had to move in with a wealthy aunt. Tough time. It might, therefore be conjecture, but is it perhaps possible to see a bit of background to the plot for the Banks', later in the story? Perhaps. Interestingly, Travers' chosen illustrator for her books was Mary Shepard, who was the daughter of EH Shepard, the illustrator of Winnie the Pooh and Wind in the Willows!
Driving out through Maryborough, we were delighted with the place. Charming stone built buildings in the colonial style, old Hotel/ Bars on street corners, and possibly the nicest tribute to the work of the town's most successful daughter, the pedestrian lights show a red and a green Mary Poppins complete with umbrella.
Our place for the next 4 nights is in a house called The Little Green Cottage. 100 metres from the beach, it will be ideal for us before flying back to Sydney.

Dear Friend of the Farmington Canal Greenway,
We wanted to wish you a happy holiday season and provide you with a few important updates:
* World Day of Remembrance For Road Traffic Victims, Sunday, November 17, 1 - 2:30pm, Goffe Street Park
We are honored to have the statewide commemoration event for World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims in New Haven this year, at Goffe Street Park. Hope you can join us on November 17 at 1pm for this powerful event remembering victims of traffic violence in New Haven and around the state. Please let us know if you can volunteer at the event (or just show up by 11am the morning of the event to help with set-up).
RSVP and share the event on Facebook: https://facebook.com/events/s/world-day-of-remembrance-for-r/1065007801646997/
* New Haven Coalition for Active Transportation (NCAT) Bike / Walk / Transit Community Networking Dinner, November 19, 6-8pm
Join us and many other trails, biking, walking, transit and safe streets organizations on Tuesday, November 19 for the annual Bike / Walk / Transit Community Networking Dinner. It's social, celebratory, and FREE! Register here.
* Rails-to-Trails Magazine Photo Shoot, November 23, 10am @ the Newhallville Learning Corridor
We are very excited that the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail is being featured in the Winter 2024-25 edition of Rails to Trails Magazine, the publication of the national Rails-to-Trails Conservancy. Please join us on November 23 at 10am at the Learning Corridor (Hazel/Shelton) in Newhallville for a photo shoot with a RTC photographer who will be capturing images of local trail users for the magazine, which goes out to the Conservancy's tens of thousands of members. Bring your running shoes, bike, e-bike, rollerblades, or whatever you normally have with you when using the Trail! We want the full diversity of trail users to be represented as much as possible. Rain cancels.
* Event Recap: Get A Light" Bike Safety Giveaway, November 4
Thanks to Elm City Cycling for joining us at the Learning Corridor and handing out bike lights to Trail users. We greatly appreciate ECC's efforts (going back many years!) to keep everyone safe, especially our many bike commuters who continue to use the Trail after the end of daylight savings, which is sadly one of the most treacherous times of year for cyclists.
* Event Recap: Fall Foliage Ride, October 26
We had stunningly perfect weather for our annual fall foliage ride, and the foliage was at or near peak! We made it about 8 miles up to the spectacular section of trail near Sleeping Giant in Hamden and back. Thanks to all our ride participants, especially the many new faces!

Into the Badlands (2015) 荒原
Director: David Dawkin Screenwriter: Alfred Goff / Miles Millar / Michael Jones-Morales Starring: Daniel Wu / Emily Beacham / Sarah Burger / Ola Brady / Marton Cocks / Aramis Knight / Madeline Mantock / Alan Holman / Stephen Lang / Morgan Benoit / Eddie Gaethje / Sam Medina / Shane Graham / Lance E. Nichols / Owen Hahn / Starlett· Miaglioni / Johns Myers Genre: Action / Adventure Official website: www.amctv.com/shows/into-the-badlands Country/Region of Production: United States Language: English Date: 2015-11-15 (USA) Number of seasons: 3 Number of episodes: 32 Single episode length: 60 minutes Also known as: Deep into the Badlands / 深入恶土 / Deserted Land / 荒芜之地 / Into the Dangerous Lands / 深入险地 / In Bad Lands / 穷山恶水 / American Version of Journey to the West / 美版西游记 / Badlands IMDb: tt3865236 Type: Reimanging
Summary:
Daniel Wu plays the motorcycle-riding Sun Wukong, a brave warrior named Sunny who escorts a young teen called M.K. with a heavy responsibility (Tang Monk) in search of the legendary Paradise. In a postapocalyptic world approximately 500 years in the future, war has left civilization in ruins. Some elements of technology, such as electricity and ground vehicles, have survived the apocalypse, but society now shuns firearms, leading to a reliance on melee weaponry and crossbows.
In a territory known as the Badlands, encompassing several states located between the Rocky Mountains and Mississippi River, a feudal society has developed to fill the power vacuum left by the war. Barons control land and monopolies over commodities like opium and fuel, trading amongst themselves to maintain the peace. Each baron is served by a massive workforce of slaves called cogs, as well as a prostitute class called dolls. A baron maintains power through an army of young men and women called clippers: highly trained and loyal warriors, clippers are forbidden from marrying and having children lest their loyalties be divided. Each clipper force is captained by a regent.
Several groups exist outside the strict hierarchy of the barons. Nomads are the most common, mostly lawless homicidal bandits who subsist on stealing from trade convoys between the baronies but some live in organized clans. The River King and his men control water trade in the Badlands and beyond, and is considered a neutral party in the barons' power struggles. An ascetic religious movement called the Totemists is also shown to exist on the fringes of society, living in isolated communities and practicing a form of idol worship. The Widow leads a revolutionary group of anti-feudal fighters from her late husband's barony; although nominally recognized as a baron by her peers, they do not respect her, and the contempt is mutual.
Little is known of the world beyond the Badlands, but it is implied that it is far less politically stable yet environmentally sound like the Badlands. The mythical utopian city of Azra is believed to exist outside the Badlands, but most dismiss it as a legend.

Uhhhhhh my coworker invited me to go to church with her but I’m kind of 1.) extremely jaded and sick of associating with bigoted Christians and other Jesus freaks that treat religion like high school 2.) Annoyed by the dogmatism of organized religion 3.) don’t like the Christian concept of god 4.) going through a phase of sexual openness and general freedom and happiness that was basically smothered due to dealing with extreme childhood trauma and not living in a safe place until very recently and not really interested in being patronized about how my natural instincts as a human being are dirty or bad
I really wish I could go to a Quaker meeting house but just like the Goff club, they are miles away, rare, and I don’t have a fucking car!

Keep in mind that the UK is only 600 miles long. Goff here (I can only assume that’s a typo of Geoff, either that or he’s part of the Goff Ork clan, which explains the bizarre demands) is planning on driving from his home in Devon to the north of Scotland all in one go, at 70mph non-stop, driving for 7 hours straight, and then he’s presumably going to start heading south again immediately because he refuses to wait more than five minutes for it to charge.
You want to drive for 500 miles with the air conditioning and the heating on at the same time?
#fucking hell#no wonder the climate's going to shit#it's bad enough having people refusing to accept that they might have to make#sacrifices to avoid everything getting worse#and this motherfucker is demanding that he gets a FAR above average car too?!

In August we completed Part II of our walking preview of the Shoreline Greenway Trail extension in New Haven, following up on the City of New Haven's release of new plans for the trail back in March. Read more about Part II of the walk in the New Haven Independent. Part I covered the area between Lighthouse Point and Fort Hale Park, and Part II covered the section between Fort Hale and Long Wharf. Thanks to all the hardy walkers who braved the nasty weather to complete Part II! Read previous article about Part I of the walk.

Everything Mia Cullen
Mia is the youngest Cullen, the adoptive daughter Carlisle brought home from the hospital years ago. She’s human for now, but as she nears the age of the Volturi’s decree, she finds herself struggling not only with whether or not to become a vampire, but with typical human dilemmas as well.
Mia Cullen Character Development Masterlist
CARLISLE:
✨ Thank you but no: When the Cullen siblings continue pushing their human sister to play baseball with them even after she’s said no, Mia grows frustrated and storms off. Carlisle helps his daughter explore the feelings behind her outburst.
✨ There's Room Enough: Mia is struggling to accept her brother's new relationship and what it means for their family. When she shuts everyone out, Carlisle steps in to offer a bit of wisdom.
✨ Aesthetically Pleasing: In a house full of vampires, Mia insists on rearranging her own furniture. Thankfully, Carlisle is close by to clean up the mess.
✨ It’ s Almost Over: Mia’s recovering from an illness and wishes nothing more than to have a father who doesn’t care about antibiotic resistance.
✨ The Language of Flowers: When words don’t work, Mia and Carlisle find another way to communicate.
✨ Under Wraps: When Mia stubbornly tries to prove herself to her siblings, she earns herself a sleepless night. Thankfully, her parents are willing to keep her secret and help her get some rest.
✨ Drifting: Set in New Moon. Now that her family has drifted apart, Mia is having nightmares.
✨ Doting: When Mia's sudden stomach pain turns out to be appendicitis, the Cullen family's doting nature comes out. Takes place pre-Twilight/ Bella, but not by much (it's the same school year). *Also featuring Esme and Edward.
EDWARD:
✨ Told You So: Edward told his sister not to leave Señora Goff’s midterm assignment to the last minute, but when does Mia ever listen to her brother?
✨ For the Best: They had given Mia three-thousand miles to process all that had happened with Edward, Bella, and the Volturi. The road trip from Forks to Ithaca with Jasper was planned for her benefit, to allow her time to think, time to sort herself, while the rest of the family was already back in their old home and getting resettled within the familiar walls they’d left less than a year before. It hadn't been enough. Mia still didn't feel sorted or settled or ready to forgive her brother for all that had passed between them, for all of the things that hurt, but had nothing to do with her.
✨ Checkmate: Edward and Mia play a game of chess.
EMMETT:
✨ Just Because You Can, Doesn’t Mean You Should: After a few rainy days stuck inside during spring break, the whole Cullen clan is feeling restless and resort to pranking to pass the time. (Carlisle is also in this one).
ESME:
✨ Just This Once: Mia’s sick and while Esme would prefer her child to be feeling well, she’s more than happy for the opportunity to dote.
✨ Just a Joke: When Mia gets hungry and tries to make herself dinner, her clumsy nature gets the best of her causing Edward and Esme to step in.
JASPER:
✨ Just Because: Mia usually puts up a wall when it comes to Jasper’s mood-sensing abilities, but when tensions are high, Mia lets down her guard.
✨ A Fine Lie: Set in New Moon after Alice, Bella, and Edward return from Volterra. While the rest of the family has returned to Forks, Mia and Jasper stay behind in Ithaca, NY.
✨ Below the Anger: Mia hasn't heard from Jacob and makes a plan to travel back to Forks to check on him. Alice sees a blip of a vision before Mia can get away and the ensuing tension brings Jasper and Mia to the brink as Jasper feels the need to protect his mate.
ROSALIE:
✨ What Matters: While Mia’s learning to drive, she gets in a car accident resulting in damage to her sister’s car and the death of a deer in the wrong place at the wrong time. Rosalie and Mia both make some assumptions about one another in the wake of the accident before finding some common ground and understanding.
✨ Closing the Chasm: When Mia and Rosalie fight, they fight. If Carlisle wasn’t so familiar with the beauty that was the two of them making up, the way they were always brought just a bit closer after a chasm was closed, he would just let it go. But Carlisle had watched them fight and then grow closer over the years, the resolution of each argument repairing a crack, healing and correcting something after they’d been opened wide and allowed to reset. Eventually, he knew they’d understand each other well enough to be whole.

No need to prepare your Draft, whether you're a beginner or experienced player, just use this list and you'll be set. In Standard Scoring Leagues you don't get points for receptions, so you will have to prioritize touchdown-heavy players. In this format, running backs are going to be a priority, so they have a slight edge over wide receiver. However, a receiving running back is also important because you have double the chance to score. If your league allows it, I would start three RBs every week. These will get you the most touchdowns besides a quarterback. So, remember to do after those red zone threats. In the end, they will make the difference when it comes to Standard Scoring formats.
