terusai - makes sense, doesn't compel me

i know where people are coming from with this one bc duh like it's very obvious but at the same time the dynamic is just.. not there for me. maybe its bc of my hyper specific taste. they work in canon but fanfic wise i'd have nothing to add myself. they are still quite awesome and an adorable duo who have their own supernatural abilities and struggle with them sometimes.

chiyomiko - makes sense(kinda), doesn't compel me

i get the concept but i just personally don't ship mikoto with anyone ig,, but they're probably the first femslash ship i could get behind if i really thought about it honestly. they're both obsessed with romance… the more i think about it the cuter it becomes, honestly. even as i'm writing this right now…

mikotori - doesn't make sense, doesn't compel me

this one is probably one of my biggest notps. they're awesome as friends but romantically it has nothing going on or interesting for me. i think the idea of mikoto being the one who could keep reita in check is hilarious though.

torisai - makes sense, compels me <333

haters will say it doesnt make sense but i heavily disagree. it doesnt matter to me if kusuo thinks of reita as human garbage with zero morals. they're a cute pair that develops past the "master and apprentice" thing and become friends. i see them as equals in a way, kusuo keeps reita away from trouble.. and their personalities just… WORK. GRGRGRH i wanna bite them and squeeze them "but uhkm saiki actually hates him so shut up dumbass (nerd emoji)" i just burped so loud mm

I think they recognized him they would approach him bc the more friends am I right, at least Akechi bc he likes talking to new ppl and shit but imagine Akechi's like "I know what you are 👁️👁️" and Tori has to stop him from accidentally saying it to anyone else bc he can't trust his big fat mouth to keep a secret. The same would happen with shun too if he knew, except the only difference is shun would actually accidentally let it slip while akechi only pretends to just to make Tori panic (hes a lil shit like that <3)

trans torisuka would be really funny bcs he's an absolute pervert and most definitely passing but someone would go to his house and his bathroom is perfectly stocked with period products and they'd be like "shit he might be at least half decent he keeps his shit ready for girls" but they're For Him. and i feel like he'd do the thing I do when I bind (nonbinary) and just. forget he has tits. and when he inevitably takes the binder off he's just like "shit i got honkers. beep beep." Okokokok I have way too many, mostly psychickers-centric aus bc they're all I ever think Abt but here are some of my faves

Mermaid au (loosely based on H2O and other mermaid media bc I love mermaids)

Childhood friends au (mostly takes place when they're young bc I want all of those losers to have a support system since they were young)

Soulmates au (they all got matching soulmarks and it's complicated and angsty and messy bc multiple soulmates gets confusing)

Superhero au (mostly MLB based but maybe also just normal secret powers and identities like regular super hero media)

Pirate au (inspired by op and the officially saiki k pirate art lol)

Soul eater au (I can't decide whether to slip them into two pairs of meister and weapon or to make saiki the only meister with three weapons, but I def wanted other ships to be paired like kubokai and nenro)

Noragami au (also couldn't decide between having most of the characters be gods and saiki the calamity/disaster god like yato with kusuke being yatos father and Tori being hiyori or yukine or if I wanted Tori to be a god of death or afterlife or something or saikis regalia and have Akechi be hiyori)

Delinquent au (like normal saiki k except the main cast are all delinquents, tho I can't decide if saiki should be a delinquent too or if he's trying to be a Normal Guy with a normal life and not get into trouble or if I want him to be a delinquent too to "blend in" and be the "normal" in that delinquent school, also idk if I want aren to be a delinquent still or be an actual nerd tho I'm leaning towards the former lol, also also alll I know as far as ships for the au is def mikotori)

Other honorable mentions bc I'm not sure if they count as aus or not but I had a psychickers body swap au (like freaky Friday but between the four of them kinda), sport au (just all the cast being in sports and the shenanigans and chaos that ensues), a Tori cafe au (inspired by maid sama, I just wanna see Tori have to lead a double life as a pervert monk by day and a cosplaying cat majd by night, plus platonic girl harem that helps Tori grow and develop as a person), arentori found family au? (not really an au more like headcanons of mine that'd probs never happen in canon and could only happen in my head or an alternate universe lol), and lastly a chunnibyou middle school tor au (just bc I want shun and Chiyo to be delusional with him, loosely inspired by love chunnibyou and other delusions).

I feel like everyone in the saiki k fandom has one au that they obsess over at least once

the version of toritsuka in my head and in the heads of a lot of the people in this fandom is way less bad than canon (it’s called a headcanon), and i happen to really like the guy in my head, that’s why i say he was done dirty lol. you might not like him and you might not like this ship but that has nothing to do with me
