Just read “a very mikhail fic” by gaypaladinosaur on ao3 recommended to me by @clericallyinsane

I really enjoyed it I was smiling the whole chapter jealous Mike is everything to me >:))) and the short lived Willhail was really sweet it was cute seeing their moments together especially through the lense of a very jealous Mike wheeler, I really liked the trio’s characterisation in this especially the Mike and Mikhail duo “it’s a jacket” Mikhail frowned “you look like frog” that was just iconic and very chaotic I will always be a sucker for Mike Mikhail beef wether it be in fics,headcanons art or rp (I actually haven’t bothered anonwheeler in a while… ) I really enjoyed the byler confession in the last bit of the first chapter I think the tension/comflict between them was very well written especially their argument it actually sounds like it could be dialogue from the show it was very reminiscent of the dreaded rain fight in season 3. I was very happy for them when they kissed althohbn I got worried when Mikhail saw them until he admitted that he had a boyfriend back home named Theo. probably one of my favourite lines/scenes from the fic.

And then I realised there was a second chapter/ the bad ending. This was the perfect mix of chaos’s and crack treated seriously. Mikhail singing at the end gave me flashbacks to those 2018 Gacha life singing battles in the best way possible. the way the author switched up Mikhails dialogue to “you look like frog” to “My horrt za sterreo ” was very funny to me. I love how seriously Mikhail confession/love song was also Mikhail beating up mike was iconic we love a diva💅

Kudos to the author for writing this fic!!!!

Dmitri Illness Headcanons

I'm on a roll with these Stranger Things headcanons, so I figured I'd just start alternating between Dmitri and Alexei. Without further ado, here are some Dmitri illness headcanons that are partially from me and partially from @charmin-lil-russian

Dmitri DESPISES being sick and is of the mindset of "if I don't acknowledge it, it's not real."

He won't admit it to anyone (save for you and Hopper), but it came from how his health was always minimized in favor of his brother. "You have a fever? At least you don't have a hole in your heart like poor Aleksandr!" "Your sinuses hurt? Deal with it! Aleksandr has a hole in his heart, and you don't see him complaining!" (He does. All the time.)

As a result, he eventually stopped telling anyone whenever he wasn't feeling good.

His grandfather and uncle never let him be pushed to the side, though. His grandfather would read to him, and his uncle would tell him about what he got up to that day to cheer Dmitri up.

Both you and Mikhail practically have to wrestle him into bed if he has an illness that he has to rest for (an infection, bronchitis, ect). He'll insist through a hoarse voice and full body shivers that he's fine, but the thermometer and/or lab results don't lie.

When he finally throws in the towel and admits that he's not feeling well, you know what to do to get him to sleep: mors (a berry drink I looked up that's common in Russia) and a scalp massage. The scalp massage specifically turns Dmitri into putty.

He'll lay on top of you and bury his head in your neck as you massage his temples and scalp

Now, whenever you or Mikhail are sick, old habits have him encouraging you to push through your illness... but only if it's a common cold or an upset stomach. Anything more serious (Mikhail's heart condition flaring up or you getting something like pneumonia) will have him putting his foot down and ordering you both to rest.

With you, he makes you warm milk and honey and will cuddle you in bed, pulling out his grandfather's trick of reading to you in order to get you to go to sleep. He'll also take on whatever housework you can't do in your condition. Of course, he'll have very gentle, lazy sex with you that more often than not gets him sick with whatever you had.

With Mikhail, he'd often just rock him back to sleep when he was a little boy. He'd cover him with a blanket and whisper sweet nothings as the poor boy would try to go back to sleep. As a teenager, he'll sit with him and gently scratch his back, telling him about his day in an effort to bore him so much that he'll sleep.

Argyle went to Russia to take Dmitri and Mikhail to the US with him and he's gonna be back in the finale and then when El sees Mikhail she's going to fall for him and we can finally get #jail
