lady of lightning, the resurrectors monster, cat lady.

A young woman under a 'Sleeping Curse' in her twenty and fourth year, brought back by her true love with a kiss...and lightning. Morana was not truly cursed but dead, and revived by an alchemist. A ressurectionist, that in the rage of her revival, she killed, along with many of her in. As her mind has finally returned Morana has taken over her makers work, intending to revive him and her family so they might be reunited again.

Morana was born in the back of a moving caravan, her mother jostled back and forth during childbirth, the community only stopping when Morana let out her first scream. The nomadic people were alukah, and found themselves unwelcome in any one place within Withermore or Cheridi, the border of which they bounced between trying to sustain themselves. It was a strange life, to live most of it in the back of a caravan, reading or playing games with the other children in the community. It felt as though, despite any kindness, she and her kind were unwanted as superstition spoke only of their need to drink the blood of animals, and their ability to hide themselves as wolves. Often curses were placed upon them when they arrived anywhere, preventing them from shifting, or crossing onto people's land, and so they would eventually be forced to move on.

For Morana, when she was twenty-four, and the community had decided to make camp outside a small Cheridan country town, the young woman attempted to seek food at a small chicken farm. She had befriended the farmers daughter, teaching her how to play cards and gifting her knitted blankets in exchange for a meal. But one day when Morana was feeding, her mouth covered in blood, she began to grow ill. Returning home she told her family of the sickness she felt, how faint and exhausted she was, unaware her meal had been poisoned by the farmer. It was not long before Morana died.

The poison was not intended for her, it had been given to the farmers chickens so that they would die and their bodies would not perish, so as they could be sold or cooked later, without worrying on spoiling, and in turn this affected Morana. The young woman's form in perfect condition, without decay, or any indication she had died, and so, her family believed she was not dead, but rather under some sort of sleeping curse. Their natural penchant for folklore brought about their belief that Morana was but a sleeping maiden, one from many stories that befell beautiful women. She need only receive a kiss from a Prince and she would be returned to them. They would find a way to save their daughter.

It was a man of means that offered aid, close enough to a Prince. He was scholarly and knowledgeable, and though he tried to insist upon her death he was unable to convince the superstitious community their daughter was not simply in need of a kiss but of something far more drastic. So rather the man insisted that he could wake her from her sleep with the folklore the group believed in, he would gift their sleeping beauty true loves kiss.

True love...in the right storm.

The scholar insisted he needed privacy to bring their beloved Morana back, that love could not flourish under a watchful eye and he needed time to bond with the young maiden, and he would need time for this to come to fruitition, that for it to be true love she need know him too and he must embed her knowledge of him in her mind. The community agreed, making home on the vast land of his estate as each day he spent hours building 'true love.' He had been, in truth, building what was required to resurrect the girl, testing her body for it's viability, and when a violent storms lightning crossed the sky he took Morana to his home and laid her in his lab and informed her family it would be that night he brought her back, or that night she was gone forever.

Waking the dead after so many years - a soul crossed over returned - was a dangerous thing, and when lightning struck the young woman, bringing her back from the dead, her mind was riddled with confusion. Her thoughts had been in another plane of existence for years, lacking the same physicality and emotional sense, and so, tied to a table in a place she did not know with emotions she had not felt in some time radiating through a body she had forgotten she lashed out at her maker, killing him in a rage of violent confusion. All she knew was she needed her family, but upon finding them on her resurrectors grounds, their attempt to embrace her resulted in their deaths as well, unable to fathom the strength her body had. Some in her community meet the same fate as they tried to subdue what they now called 'monster,' while other's ran.

Morana was left alone on the Destarin estate, surrounded by corpses. Confused and lost in her own mind, but fortunately for the town trapped within the grounds. With no necessity to eat as she once had the maiden now made monster was left to relearn her mind and her body. It took a few weeks but eventually her thoughts began to unclutter - though control never conceded to become a challenge - and the truth of her actions became apparent. So unsure of herself, Morana utilised her resurrectors belongings to save what had already begun to decay of the bodies that surrounded her, fortunate it was a cold time of year, most were still nearly together, broken mostly where she had hurt them but placing them in a liquid she found within his writings to prevent further decay regardless.

She had everything there to bring back her family, if only she understood how.

The young lich's goal became to study her resurrectors work to bring her parents back. The estate, that now with a mind her own she had worked out how to come and go from, was filled with notes that crossed decades, but Morana had no basis for any of it. The woman was starting from scratch, and she would not risk the damage to her parents souls or bodies if performed incorrectly. So she decided to start smaller, with animals, becoming this strange figure within Destarin that slipped in and out of the town taking small dead things. Children spoke of her like the same monster she had been called before she died, but once they began to return, once she knew she could bring the animals back to life, she knew she need move on to something more.

That was when the man she had been watching flirt with the girls of grace about town died and Morana thought, just perhaps, she might have a sleeping beauty all her own. The man had caught her eye each time she took a short trip to town, his dark eyes and curls seeming to impress each maiden he spoke to, all gushing on his various talents - with a sword, in the kitchen, with a quill, on horseback - and Morana only wished he would seek to impress her. But she was quiet and strange and though she watched him often she did not think he had ever glanced her way.

Attending his funeral she watched his family mourn - only bolstering her intention to revive him so he might have what she sought for herself - before retrieving his body, keeping it in stasis in her ressurector's estate as she did the rest of her family. She would speak with him for hours, insist upon all the talents she had beyond what she would do to bring him back; that she could dance, and do card tricks, and knew many languages. They were one in the same, and would be more so once she returned him home. To his family.

Finally the night came when she felt she had done all she could, the lightning that had coursed through her upon her own resurrection was now controlled by her palms drew a thunderstorm to the sky, cracks of lightning crossing over Destarin and the surrounding land. She loved him, and had been absent love so long, that just as lightning had become a part of her resurrection, love became a part of his. As life shot through the young man so too did her yearning for him rush through every fiber of his form. Lightning brought back but love created the man who rose, a true sleeping beauty.

main info:

the town of silver park sits perfectly between boston and new york city in the state of massachusetts. extremely idyllic and reminiscent of stars hollow, every spot is walkable and the town is built for people, not cars (although I do have one for traveling outside town).

I have worked for the past couple of years at a relatively popular magazine called the sun and the moon where I write the advice column titled 'violet's corner,' which is the most popular section in the magazine and has gained a bit of a cult following.

now, because every reality I shift to must be magical in some way or another, I do have very light magical abilities, as does my sister (runs in the family). I can mostly just do very light glamor magic as well as make it easier to keep my house clean (spells to keep things tidy or have messes automatically clean themselves). jessa is more of a medium, and often finds work doing tarot work and predictions for others.

I live alone in the cutest cottage style two story house. picture this house but with a large porch with a seat swing that goes past the bay window and wraps around the other side of the house.

my favorite spots in town:

✿the silver dollar diner: my most frequent haunt other than my job, the sun and moon magazine. ran and owned by jefferey danes, this is my go to spot for breakfast, the occasional lunch, and my most lazy dinner spot

✿the black cat bookstore: otherwise just known as the black cat, this is the only bookstore in town and really the only one you could ever need. owned by the sweetest older woman named bethany james, I can often find sam working here part time for some extra cash while grinding through his last year of law school

✿the paper crane: stationary store

✿moonlight cafe: cutesy little cafe that really only serves coffees and light breakfast/lunch food

✿the light at the end: my absolute favorite clothing store in town. sells very whimsigoth/ann ferriday type of clothes

✿the raven: most popular bar in town, does karoke ever other tuesday night

other major locations in town:

✿an eye for an eye: the other bar in town, a little run down and not very popular but this is the place to go if you don't want to run into those you know

✿vertical stare: nightclub about 20 mins outside silver park town limits

✿witches brew: classier nightclub

✿posie's: the only grocery store in town, catch all store for everything you could need

✿1 hour photo: photo development store, I go here most every week

✿love letter: high end clothing store in town

✿something borrowed: thrift store

✿rose's antiques: antique store

✿thai elephant: most amazing thai place. has pad thai that is to die for

✿angelina's: classy italian and pizza place

✿stardust bakery: cute little bakery, has the best bread ever

✿in the mood for love: chinese restuarant

✿final call: movie theater

career

star wars — my most known role and path in my career is my role as mary solo in the star wars franchise. my mother played mary in earlier movies and got so attached she even named me after her, giving me the german equivalent to her name. when the prequels were filmed and mary solos backstory within them, casting directors decided i would be a perfect fit because of my similar looks to my mother & my similar acting style. the whole story on my casting & my name makes people refer to me being "born to play her". i played mary in the clone wars (live action) from 2008-2020 and ended playing her in her own movie in 2024. i received an oscar for said movie in 2025.

other acting projects — during and after star wars i was casted in a lot of short shows or movies such as the the tudors, legally blonde or suicide squad. my ability to play villains or women that are supposed to be hated is fairly recognized among hollywood and these types of roles are usually the ones you will find me in.

directing — i only started directing as i got older. i focus on female protagonists and catching stories. some of my projects include marvels' black widow, anora and black swan.

voice acting — i've done some voice acting jobs such as bsds yosano akikos english dub, genshin impacts lisa or bela dimitrescu in resident evil

original movies — i love writing movies and scripting them in and have a total of 4 of these projects that i acted in or directed in my drs. the most recognizable one would be "elsewhere". an action movie about a multiversal gate opened and researched on by american & korean scientists. this was also the set i met my s/o on!

upcoming — because of my ability and reputation of playing complex psychopathic villains, i was recently casted in the upcoming american psycho remake that features a gender swap in all characters
