I think often and a lot about the fact that Vyvyan and Mike almost exclusively call each other "Vyv" and "Michael" throughout the series. Also the way Vyvyan's tone of voice tends to change when he's talking to Mike. There's a certain level of familiarity between the two of them that I like to poke at a lot. I think they probably had similar upbringings and recognized that trauma in one another straight off the bat. They're simply more sincere with one another. Every now and again they can give each other a look like "Ugh. These spoiled brats." When Mr.s "Generational Wealth" and "Mummy and Daddy are paying for my education" get to be too much, and I think that's nice for them.
