NHL Captains & Alternates Primer/Refresher
All teams per the NHL Rule book (Rule 6, pg 7-8) must list either One (1) Captain and Two (2) Alternate Captains or Three (3) Alternate Captains during the game line-up submissions*. There may only be Three (3) Alternates if the Captain is not in uniform or if there is no designated Captain. No Coach, Manager or Goaltenders are allowed to act as a Captain or Alternate; Goaltenders are not allowed to act as captains due to (un)intentional delay of game as per the "Durnan Rule". They must wear either a "C" or "A" about three inches (3") high and of a contrasting color in a visible spot on the front of their jerseys. Only the Captain [ or any one (1) Alternate, if the Captain is not on the ice] is allowed, if invited by a referee, to discuss interpretations of the rules**. They may not leave the bench to protest or hinder any officials in light of a call on the ice, and are subject to being given a penalty (Abuse of Officials: unsportsmanlike conduct).
Notes:
(*) Some teams have named more than the regulation two (2) or three (3) alternates and are required to rotate the designation between players. The method of choosing who gets the designation when is left to team digression.
(**) Complaints about penalties are not considered 'a discussion pertaining to the interpretations of the rules', and any skater making such complaints are subject to a minor penalty in response.
Current NHL Captains & Alternates under the cut. (per eliteprospects please take this with a grain of salt for the alternates as not every team has indicated who they are fully)

                                           MARLA’S FAMILY
Henrik Samuelsson [Mikael Persbrandt] (50) — Agricultural engineer, wildlife conservationist and fisherman. Lives in Mölle. Evelyn Price [Lily Rabe] (47) — CEO and founder of Loop, a wellness and lifestyle brand. Lives in Toronto and New York. Marlena ‘Marla’ Olivia Price-Samuelsson [Ellie Bamber] (24) — Creative Writing MFA student and Onlyfans content creator. Lives in Los Angeles. Noelle Julie Price-Samuelsson [Erin Moriarty] (21) — recent graduate from the University of Edinburgh. Lives in Gothenburg.
Not pictured: Hermann, 2, Marla’s stray cat.
**BONUS**
What would your family’s Latin motto or House words be? House Samuelsson — Excellence Above All
Where is your family originally from? Marla’s family is from Sweden and Canada. Her parents met at university in Toronto, and upon graduating promptly left for Sweden. Marla was born in Gothenburg and Noelle in Stockholm. They’ve lived between the two cities, but mostly called Gothenburg home.
What fictional family is your family’s counterpart? Probably the Bennet family, from Pride and Prejudice.
Your character’s favorite family member, and why. Marla loves all of her family, but she’s the closest to Noelle. They grew up together and have a million memories shared, are as different as night and day but still best friends.
Is there a black sheep in the family? Not really. Maybe Henrik, since he lives so remote from everyone else and at times communicating with him can be erratic. But he means well.
Most memorable family vacation? Croatia, 2007. Wanting to explore different parts of the city, the family split up, Marla and her mum going together to visit museums and Noelle and Henrik to sightsee around the town. They had a rendez-vous in the afternoon at a beach, but Henrik mixed up locations and accidentally ended up on a nudist beach. Noelle has been traumatised ever since.
Describe your family in one word. Eccentric.
If you family were on a desert island and survival was of the essence, who would be the most helpful? Who is getting sacrificed? Henrik would without a doubt be the most helpful with all his knowledge, although both siblings would pitch in. Evelyn would probably be the least helpful. No one would be getting sacrificed though, they’d find some sort of solution or compromise.

The secret to success in this contest
Assistant coach Terry Murray and goaltending coach Andrew Allen remain on the staff.Barr, who joined the Sabres after four seasons as an assistant in New Jersey, is reunited with an old friend. Barr and Panthers coach Gerard Gallant played parts of five seasons together in Detroit, from 1987 to 1991. Gallant was looking for two assistants after firing John Madden during an organizational shakeup, and the Sabres were aware Barr was a candidate. The 55 year old Barr joined the Sabres despite not knowing Bylsma.

cheap jerseys SubscriptionsGo to the Subscriptions Centre to manage your:My ProfileThe practice of "double dipping" chips can be as contentious among groups of people as the very flavour of chips considered best. (Ketchup. Ketchup chips are the best.)Some people, like Seinfeld's George Costanza, see no problem in dipping a chip, taking a bite, and dipping again to ensure that each bite contains the snacker's preferred ratio of dip to chip.Others, like Costanza's one time girlfriend's brother Timmy, is strongly opposed to the double dip.As he told George at a funeral during an episode of the show that aired in 1993, "that's like putting your whole mouth right in the dip!"With apologies to Team George, it appears as though there may be some crumbs of truth behind Timmy's argument. An undergraduate research team at Clemson University in South Carolina recently looked into the age old quandary of whether or not double dipping is OK from a hygienic perspective. To do this, they conducted a series of experiments aimed at determining how much bacteria can be transferred between bitten crackers and dips of varying acidity levels."Members of the no double dipping enforcement squad, prepare to have your worst, most repulsive suspicions confirmed," wrote Clemson food science professor Paul Dawson in a piece about the results this week.As it turns out, his team found about 1,000 more bacteria per millilitre in cups of water that had been penetrated by bitten crackers than in the cups of water students had tested with unbitten crackers. Both bitten and unbitten crackers were then dipped into actual food dips to see if similar patterns presented themselves.Intrigued by the question of whether or not double dipping is a 'food safety problem' or 'just a nasty habit', Clemson University food science students looked at the bacteria levels of dips hit with bitten vs cheap jerseys.

Hey, Glass! This is something that you have been asked for a lot. If you could make a perfect trio (Phantom, Christine and Raoul) with the Latin versions (Mexico, Spain, Argentina and Brazil) who would play each character? And another with all the international versions
Hmm...
Latin productions:
Phantom: Saulo Vasconcelos
Christine: Irasema Terrazas
Raoul: Armando Pita
I wanted to do alternates and understudies and the like, but it was a bit too difficult to choose (e.g. I like Claudia Cota, Felicidad Farag, Julia Moller, Kiara Sasso, and Sara Sarres all relatively equally).
International productions:
Phantom: Ian Jon Bourg / Tomas Ambt Kofod / Mikael Samuelsson
Christine: Valerie Link / Mia Karlsson / Emmi Christensson
Raoul: Michael Shawn Lewis / Evgeny Zaycev
(I excluded anyone on the Latin production list just so I could get more variety. And yes, I tried to do some matching up of languages and productions while also making it a cast combination that hasn’t happened yet, though that meant eliminating a large portion of my other favorites. Also, I seriously considered putting Tomas Ambt Kofod as Raoul, but thought that’d be too much.)

Romantisk expressionism i dynamisk tappning

Hey! Since you've already done that for the German and Latin productions could you say your favorite and least favorite from the trio for every one of the Danish productions?
Well, the Danish productions are difficult because first, there’s only been three productions of it (which might seem like a lot, but isn’t when you compare to how there have been 5 Latin productions and 7 German-language productions), and second, bootlegs of the casts are quite few. I’d recommend doing the favorite/least favorite trio asks for the Scandinavian productions in general... but I’d still have the same problem to be honest.
So I think I’m just going to sweep all of the casts into one big production and say that my favorite Phantoms have been Flemming Enevold and Tomas Ambt Kofod, my favorite Christine was Mia Karlsson, followed by Viktoria Krantz and Isabel Schwartzbach, and my favorite Raoul is Tomas Ambt Kofod. I honestly don’t think I have any least favorites, the casts of all the productions have been remarkably solid... oh wait, Bjorn Olsson was in one of the productions, so I guess he’s my least favorite Raoul.
And before anyone asks me... my favorites from Stockholm production and its revival (I’m not counting the Gothenburg production, I tend to lump it in with the Finnish production anyway) have been Mikael Samuelsson as the Phantom, Elisabeth Berg as Christine, closely followed by Emmi Christensson, and I suppose Anton Zetterholm as Raoul. I don’t have any least favorites from the production, though quite honestly I don’t think I’ve heard nearly enough of the casts to have a least favorite anyway...
And I have not listened to enough of the Finland / Gothenburg productions or the Norway production to have any favorites or least favorites there.
