thinking about how in high school we had a fundraiser at a barnes and noble during the peak of the holiday shopping season which involved an open mic and barely anyone from my school was there so i went up there and performed the worst acoustic rendition of frank iero’s i’m a mess to ever be played and compelled half the people at the starbucks to leave. pretttty epic i’d say

#what else did i play. androgynous by the replacements definitely #mightve played something by gerard way. i dont wanna say dasher but possibly dasher #played something with a friend but can’t remember what for the life of me #also my teacher grabbed two random folk punk dudes from the fucking street who HAPPENED to have a guitar and banjo on them #those dudes were cool af and i commend them for playing along and actually doing a song #even though it was apparently a struggle to find a song that worked in that context but tbf yeah
