As someone who hasn’t played the twst game very long I just got into it. I wanted to know about events? Like do some not come back? For example do the Masquerade, Port, Beanfest, Ghost bride, starsending events. Do those come back? I hear people say how they missed their chance to get this great card like as if it won’t ever come back and then someone on Reddit will say something like “Oh beanfest happened twice on the JP server” so which events have gotten reruns so far? I would ask about more recent ones like the Easter one but idk if it’s too recent to know if get rerun or if they clarify that it won’t come back? I was really sad to find out about the Silk outfits I missed out on when they visit the scalding sands. I also was really sad to find out i missed out on the anniversary cards because I didn’t play the game yet. I wish they would add the anniversary cards to the store at least…I want to be apart of the celebration :’)

I was looking in the shop and saw all the different groovy items you need to groovify event cards and this question just came to me so I had the urge to ask someone…

welcome to Twst! 🎉 it is a bit confusing to jump right into, especially because. they're not always consistent. :') it sounds like you're probably playing on Eng, which I'm less familiar with, but I'll try based on what I know! (I also don't always remember everything, so somebody please correct me if I get something wrong!)

first, I do recommend the Twst wiki.gg, which seems to stay pretty up-to-date on events for both the Eng and JP versions! it's a great resource for when you want to see if/when an event ran or rerun. in general, I believe that the Eng version only does reruns that have already happened in JP, so if JP has a rerun that hasn't happened yet in Eng, they should get it too eventually! on the other hand, I don't think either version has ever rerun an event more than once. :( BUT this doesn't mean you're entirely out of luck, because:

anniversary events (March for JP, January for Eng) will usually offer a chance to get both an older event SSR and an older birthday SSR in the shop, via buying a special item with exchange currency (which you get by doing pulls on the anniversary gacha, I think you need to do 100-150 pulls for enough currency to buy the item to exchange for an SSR). only SSRs though, and you're limited to one each (one birthday, one event). so if there's an SSR you REALLY want and it's already had its rerun, it's probably worth planning to save up some keys for!

as for actual reruns, they seem to come in a few different flavors:

straight-up rerun, no changes or extra cards

unchanged event story, with a new SSR of a character who wasn't in the story (e.g. Applepom Jamil)

slightly rewritten event story that includes a new SSR (e.g. Ghost Marriage, they don't seem to do this anymore though)

completely new event story that acts as either a sequel or alternate-universe version of the original (e.g. Beans Day part 2, Fairy Gala IF) (though this is pretty rare and might actually count as a separate event, rather than a rerun?)

Master Chef/Culinary Crucible events have never gotten reruns (though they might start now that we've finally gotten through all the characters in JP, time will tell). birthday and Halloween events will also rerun the previous version in addition to the new one -- for instance, Eng should be getting a Glorious Masquerade rerun this year, followed by the new (Playful Land) Halloween event. and a birthday campaign will, in addition to the new card, have a separate pickup for the previous year's birthday card.

for the specific ones you mentioned -- I think Beanfest, Ghost Bride, Fireworks, and Starsending have already rerun in Eng, so those most likely will not be rerun again (at least not anytime soon). Masquerade should be coming back for you guys this Halloween, and Portfest JUST got its rerun in JP, so that should be coming too sometime in the future! (no new SSR though, alas, I was really hoping for a little marching band sailor boy Leona. 😔) the Easter event is the White Rabbit Fest, right? that one hasn't gotten a rerun in JP yet either, so it's still on the table!

all that said, it's entirely possible they'll change the rules at some point and start doing more reruns/chances to get older event cards, especially since the game's been going on for a few years now and some cards haven't been available for a pretty long time! there's only one card that they said was for-realsies limited-time-only and wouldn't ever be available again -- Platinum Grim, since he was to celebrate the 100th anniversary -- so. there's always a little bit of hope for everything else. :D (fairy gala Ortho PLEASE COME BACK SOB)

Things I brought today (mostly at the SE exhibition) and some opinions about the whole experience

I couldn’t get everything I wanted I over estimated how much cash I’ll need to have with me so I’ll probably will go again tomorrow

Which is the last day so I need to go early…

I also couldn’t get that one frame magnet I wanted…volume 5 my dads….no… I’ll….I have no choice but to get the whole set just to get them guaranteed cuz I cant go back to the shopping area onceI exit the shop 😭

And its all sold out in the second hand listings on mercari jp ,…hope the whole box is somewhat affordable

Also I got the kid ,liz and patty shikishi as you can see and I only hope to get soul and maka tomorrow cuz its so expensive on mercari I wont be paying 3000 yen just for a shikishi no waaay

I got the only cute exhibition keychain because ohkubo gave them very questionable angled illustrations which didnt translate well in merchs in my opinion ESPECIALLY on the acrylic stands they look nightmare fuels, but crona is fine (I sense some favoritism ngl) patty was cute too actually but I was on a budget

Anddd I got the badges from blind bags so its all gacha I like crona though Im happy and I will give the tsubaki one to a friend.

There were two entry tickets one was 2500 yen as standart

And the other was 3000 yen with limited goods which was this wristband , I think for 500 yen more it was worth it I might get another one tomorrow with entrance its high quality and soft

Lastly if you brought anything over 5000yen total you get this bag, but you wont get a double for every 5000 you buy, quickly learned since I spended around 11k with some goods I picked for my friend, so if anyone is interested in going to the Osaka venue, just so you know if you go with a friend you may wanna pay separately if you want a bag for every each one of you

Also tip from me: dont be stupid like me and bring more money with you if theres something you want that is not guaranteed and is in a blind bag…cuz the chances of you getting lucky is not reliable and if you are as desperate as me you’ll pay for another entrance😭😭😭

Especially cuz you cant go back there if it turns out you didn’t get what you wanted, you’ll need another ticket so…buying the box seems more worth it (only if you need and want something absolutely that you’ll go that far) (actually its not a super big deal for badges and limited shikishi boards and cards since there aren’t many designs. But the mangets…they have 16 designs so it is pricey)

Now as for the exhibition hall itself, most things were okay to photograph and its consisted of mostly manga panels and official arts,there were cool cut outs and giant volume covers on the walls. seeing the panels upclose was interesting especially cuz I do comics as well and aspire to do it professionally in the future

But I guess the coolest experience is that they fully voice acted a certain chapter from the manga (didn’t finish it yet so I don’t know which) but it was so cool cuz it was all newly voiced (manga only duh) and the visuals were in a dynamic video edited pretty well, there were some live 2d just a little but it was there, it was not allowed to film that there which gives me hope that they will upload it to socials after the exhibition fully ends nationwide. But you never know

(italso gave me hope for a possible remake but I don’t wanna get my hopes up)

Anyway I might make a google drive with everything I took pictures of later , Im kinda tired today

but I wanna say to those who have high expectations for this exhibition

don’t expect something revolutionary.unfortunately it was mostly manga pages displayed (the giant official art were cool though cuz you could see more details of them) and as for props, aside from some decorations hanging from the walls and cielings here and there there was a shinigami sama cut out and the mirror, but thats about it) so definitely a little underwhelming for a 20th anniversary exhibition , at least from my expectations

I enjoyed it because I like Soul Eater and Im pretty hyperfixated on it right now, but that doesn’t keep me away from criticizing it and I do just that CUZ I LIKE SOUL EATER

there were so many things they could do and honestly for 20th anniversary it was pretty small and the exclusive merchandise was just… meh??? especially the illustrations made specifically for the Exhibition itself (which wasn’t even that much just the main 3 duo/trio’s) Honestly I have to say Im quite disappointed with Ohkubo it seemed like he didn’t give his all designing the illustrations. they didn’t even performed well as various types of goods and ,sure, he made a design and its not that bad , but he could at least draw them again with no weird angling that only looks okay in a promotional poster, aside from that, you know the magnets are made from previously made official arts and manga covers, there were some cool stuff like kid’s skateboard and Soul’s jacket but those are made to order and you can’t even get them there at the time,

NOT TO MENTION THIS SUPER COOL ART WAS NI WHERE TO BE FOUND AT THE GOODS SHOP IT IS A MISSED OPPORTUNITY TO ME!!

The nuis are cool it was well overdue I hope they will make more characters in the future they should capitalize on them a bit more

Tote bags , hoodies and such were something to be expected from exhibitions like this Im not really impressed but they were nice as designs

But my opinion is set, they could’ve done so much more for this exhibition and it was a little underwhelming so only consider attending if you like to see official arts and manga panels up close, and if you like to interact with very limited props and watching the exclusive manga voice acting (to me that alone is worth to visit ngl) and of course the goods, only if you’re interested in

I do some theories why this exhibition was the way it is I mainly think, the budget was set and it was not much to do more than what we got especially considering the made to order goods, but it gives me hope, even after 20 years I think Soul Eater as a series is still profitable and I hope this exhibition does well enough for the higher ups to consider making more things in the future

hello! I was just wondering, do you have any advice for getting so many gems in Twst? Also thank you for your wonderful art, I enjoy looking forward to see what you draw next :D

Just kidding! I've only made one purchase for TWST. It was less than $10 and was way back in the beginning for some kind of deal or something.

My 16k gem stash is the product of two years of grinding and selective pulls. I really wish I could say I had some kind of hack but that's really it. I'll talk about how I approach spending resources in the game, though, if anyone finds that useful.

As per usual, I ramble so it'll be under the cut!

1. Pick a favorite character

HEAR ME OUT I KNOW ITS HARD BECAUSE ALL THE CHARACTERS ARE GREAT! But it helps a lot if you're limiting who you're willing to pull for instead of every pretty card that comes out.

Personally, Riddle is my favorite (+ Grim but he's not really a concern card wise) so I'm committed to getting all of his cards. I'd really hate if I couldn't get one of his cards that I really want because I spent my keys / gems on a card that I only kind of wanted. So that's something to think about if it helps keep things in perspective.

All my Riddles!! (I definitely don't have a favorite Riddle shhh)

For example, I absolutely love Ortho's Fairy Gala card. I think it's one of the prettiest in the game! But I didn't pull for it because Ortho isn't a favorite character of mine.

It works the opposite, too. Kalim, Vil, and Ruggie are among my favorites but I've passed on a lot of their cards for one reason or another. I passed on Tsum Kalim because I didn't like the groovy, I passed on Silk Adorned Vil because I didn't like that it didn't have an attached vignette, and I passed on Camp Vargas Ruggie because I didn't like the event itself. While I really love these characters, I'm picky about which ones I'll pull so I don't miss out on a better one later.

For characters that I like quite a bit (top 5 ish), I'll use their free ten set you get on their birthday to try and pull for them. If I don't get them within those ten pulls, I accept it and move on.

I also want to say that this method has allowed to me to get pretty much every card that I've actually wanted. I can even pull for characters that aren't among my favorites (e.g. Idia who has THE BEST SSRS FOR SOME REASON??) and still have a big gem safety net.

I don't pull super often, I don't think, but I've gotten everything I've wanted so I think it's a fair trade-off.

Given my gem stash, you might be able to get away with collecting for a dorm but it'd have to be one of the tiny ones (Scarabia would be excellent because Jamil has almost no SSRs rip)

2. Plan ahead of time using JP TWST events

One of the biggest advantages of JP TWST releasing events way before Eng TWST is that we know what's coming ahead of time so we can plan accordingly. Obviously, this won't work if you're trying to save gems on the Japanese server.

You'll have to be okay with spoilers for the English server, too. At least enough to know if a character you like is in the event. I like to look at the card art and groovies, personally, as those will influence my decision if I'm on the fence.

I know which cards that I need to save for in the future:

Riddle’s Swimear SR

Ruggie’s Clubwear SSR

Rollo's SSR (pending available keys)

Riddle's Bloomquet SSR

Vil's Luxe Couture SSR

Vil and Malleus's Tsum SSR (pending groovies)

While we don't have a definitive schedule for a lot of these, a lot of them you can kind of guess.

For example, Riddle's Swimwear SR is part of Stitch's event which seems pretty summer-y to me. It'll likely come out in June or July of this year. Clubwear cards come relatively quickly so I'm anticipating Ruggie's Clubwear SSR fairly soon, too. Gotta make sure I'm saving right now for those bad boys.

Rollo and Riddle will probably come around the same time (Aug-Nov) so I've got a bit of time to build up my collection of keys again.

The others just got released in Japan so they'll take awhile before they reach us and I'm not too worried about them just yet.

I think of it like going to the grocery store with a shopping list. Stick to the list and you know you can't overspend!

3. Don't pull for dorm cards

"That's easy for you to say, Cheekin. Riddle is your favorite character and you can get his dorm card for free at the beginning of the game!!"

(Ngl I might've caved and done it for Riddle but ONLY Riddle because he's my fave :D)

Now that all of the dorm uniforms have been released, dorm showcases aren't really a thing but in the event that they do a re-run I would avoid spending keys / gems on them. Same goes for the standard show case. Neither are worth it, IMO.

Dorm uniform cards will always be in the SSR pool regardless of the event, so I think it's better to just take your chances and collect them slowly overtime. Of course, the odds of getting the one you want aren't super high but you'll amass quite a few dorm cards just by pulling for event cards anyways. You're bound to get one you like eventually.

For reference, I've gotten Dorm Idia, Ortho, Vil, Jamil THREE TIMES, Kalim, Azul, Ruggie, Jack, Trey TWICE and Deuce TWICE as a byproduct of pulling for event cards. I wasn't trying to get them but they're here now and I love them for it <3

And that's about it! Nothing too groundbreaking. The biggest thing is knowing when to stop. Sometimes when I'm on that gacha grind high and I want to pull just cause it's been awhile since I've gotten an SSR, I'll tell myself to do it later because 99% of the time I'll just forget and it'll never happen!

I have been burned by too many gacha games in the past that I refuse to let it happen to me again in TWST (cough Obey Me COUGH)

Here are all my SSRs so you can judge for yourself how effective it is. (Or if its worth it)

I genuinely have no clue what the average number of SSR's a player who has been playing for over 2 years like me has, but I'm comfortable with what I've got. I've gotten all the cards I've wanted and most of the cards I was interested in so I think it's worth it.

tldr: be selective about your pulling, plan ahead, and resist the urge to pull constantly

Part of the 3rd anniversary updates on the JP server was a set of new guest room titles for all the characters, and lilia's has been driving me nuts. it's "ゆりかごの探索者", which means like "somebody who searches for/seeks a cradle" or "cradle searcher" for short.

of course, this could just be a cute nod to maleficent's goons, as they were tasked with finding aurora and proceeded to search every house and cradle in the land for 16 years. we've seen other associations between him and these characters, such as the shape of his magical stone weapon resembling the cleavers they use, the cleaver and goon patches on his clubroom card, his role as malleus's servant, and his general ineptitude in looking for things. Not to mention the fact there's a cradle on his Union Birthday card, and a plush version of the goon and cradle you can buy for the guest room.

But I can't stop thinking about how there might be something deeper to these connections and this new title, especially considering the new titles for some of the other characters seem to reveal more about their true nature. Like how Cater is referred to as a bystander in his, and Trey as a devotee/loyalist in his, pointing back the former's reluctance to let himself get close to others and express how he truly feels, and the latter's devotion to Riddle ever since they were young.

Or how some of the other titles have more than one meaning, such as Leona's having the dual meaning of "King of Ambition" and "King of Treason/King of Undue Desires". And then there's Silver's new title, "Knight of Dreams/Fantasy", which, as this person points out, could be interpreted as "a knight who wields power over dreams/illusions" or "a knight who only exists in dreams/fantasy".

If Liila's title also alludes to something deeper, it could be that he didn't actually just "find" Silver as a baby deep in the Briar Valley woods, contrary to what the game has told us so far. After all - keeping in mind his title is "Cradle Searcher" - you typically need to know what it is you're looking for if you're going out to go search for it. Consider that the ring that Lilia said belonged to Silver looks much too opulent to have belonged to a family of simple commoners, and that theories that Silver was borne of royalty are widespread amongst fans. Maybe the Queen commanded him to steal away some rival kingdom's heir from right out of his cradle to use as a ransom, or for some darker reason?

Or maybe he really did just come across the abandoned infant in the middle of the woods one day, and he's been taking those solo trips around the world in an effort to find the boy's real parents - and find the cradle the child came from 😞

the state of digital media is pretty bad rn but it still blows my mind that i can watch an episode of the pokemon anime with a new opening a day after it airs, go on itunes, and buy a high quality file of the opening song right away with us dollars

to put this into perspective. in Ye Olde Days when an anime theme song aired, you used to have to wait upwards of two months for the full version of the song to even be released on CD, then crawl around the internet to find a semi-trustworthy site that MIGHT have an mp3 rip of it from someone who bought the disk. if you were lucky it'd even be good quality. (this was particularly true for pokemon songs; for some reason the site I used for other anime music refused to include pokemon music in its collection. i had to go to a specialized pokemon fan site and after a while they fell out of it and stopped adding new songs).

"isn't that piracy?" you have to understand. this was the 00s. for a lot of people my age there simply WAS no legal way to acquire this music. importing the physical cds wasnt really a thing at the time, at least not for a kid with no income or bank card. even when i *could* shop online, shipping was expensive, and many jp stores didn't accept non-jp credit cards or ship overseas. iTunes existed, but it took a VERY long time for the US store to begin offering Japanese music, and the JP store required you to have a japanese credit card (or JP iTunes gift cards, that was a loophole you could exploit, but it required jumping through hoops and getting those cards outside of japan required using potentially dodgy sites). It wasn't until fairly recently that you could legally acquire anime music digitally via US iTunes or other non-Japanese outlets.

all of which is to say. there is plenty of bad shit to say about the current digital media landscape (and iTunes/Apple has its own problems) but the fact that i can go online and legally purchase the full version of a japanese pokemon anime opening song, on the day it aired, with american dollars, feels a little bit miraculous to me

wow, a wild header!!

in terms of japanese studying, today i did:

anki reviews

bunpro reviews + 3 new grammar points

added 10+ new anki cards for tmr

kanji review + a couple new kanji

and i've been watching streams (currently 4 hours into kanae's eldin ring vod)

i've started learning kanji separately again. there's a lot of discourse online about if learning kanji separately is useful or not. but for me personally i enjoy it and it feels like good addition to my routine, so i'll continue to do it. plus i think you need kanji for the JLPT? and i'm taking the N3 in july next year.

alsooo, i'm really feeling glad i bought bunpro lifetime, tbh its way worth it and it is a bit pricey but it definitely pays off. but on the opposite side im a bit peeved because i'd love to use yomichan/tan, because i heard it has a one click add-to-anki feature and that would be massively helpful to me. but my windows laptop has stopped charging and im left with a chromebook that can't even download the anki app, so i'm still stuck with ankiweb and i can't use yomichan...its really disappointing.

the header is fitting actually because i've been meaning to read more of yotsuba. the only problem is i cant buy books physically and its kind of impossible to find the japanese version of the manga online. i only have 3 physical volumes of the series, 2 in japanese and i can only reread them so much....then again that might be good because i have so many resources for sentence mining right now that its a bit hard to keep up with, i have 2 full novels im trying to get through, one physical + i just cant resist the urge to mine every word i see that i dont know when consuming jp content

other stuff:

went on another walk today...i twisted my ankle and it still hurts...plus my knee hurts a bit too. i tried to drink more water today because recently my mother got some water bottles that are like half a gallon. i cant drink the whole thing so i've been filling it up abt quarter the way but i'm still struggling with that. it's really discouraging. madd hasn't been so tough on me lately, on a good note.

Usually English sets have better pull rates, the only thing Japanese sets have over is that I’m guaranteed a rare for about a 28 usd box with current rate as of writing (4,400 yen) that’s how I ended up with so many suguris he was the only one I pulled in box. hello! i'm planning on trying for g-rosso s4 in march, and i would just like to ask more about your guide post for ticketing, about buying through a proxy and bypassing jp phone number verification? how would that work?

Proxy

This is very regional-dependent: I just search for "japan proxy" on facebook (more reliable than instagram because old people website), check their history and look for "ticketing" in the description (filter those that only buy goods or just personal travellers with no on-site agents).

You give them the show's information and they'll give you a quotation. If you agree with the price, make a deposit and they'll proceed with the lottery and refund if it fails. Some companies take a service charge regardless if the lottery succeeds.

My proxy mentioned eplus's lottery ticket will have the buyer's name printed. The G-rosso I remember is not that strict with checking ids, so I'm not too worried. More after my visit.

You'll need a prxoy if you buy through eplus (= online ticketing sites) whether or not you're joining the lottery. I used a proxy that handled everything, but there's also proxies that only handle the phone verification part. You get to register an account with your own name.

Phone verification: Echoing other posts: You need to make a call to eplus's number. Other people suggested using an 050 IP Phone or buying a Japanese SIM card from Hanacell or Mobal. But IP phones might be banned and the SIM cards only work within Japan so I'm not sure how it works either...

Redeeming the ticket: Remind the proxy to choose "pick-up at convenience store" instead of delievery, either Family Mart or 7-11 is fine. Eplus will send you a redemption code via email two weeks before the show and you can print the ticket from the convenience store machine once you land in Japan.

edit: I just realize the whole exchange happened online unlike actual goods that need to be shipped, so maybe it's not as region-specific as I thought...

Experience with S3:

Lottery: You will only be considered for one showing and you have up to three choices. You can't pick the seats, so just pick out the date and time.

Pretty much everyone on my twitter tl (jp fans) failed the Premium round, but managed to score in the General round. We reckoned it was simply because there are just too few Premium seats (38 x 3 rows = 114 seats). Some General seats are still available as of today, except the first and final showing.

The consideration of whether you MUST need the first 3 rows or you're fine sitting a bit back in the first block: If Row A-C is a must, I'd choose a less popular date and time. Not the first or final showing and Satuday rather than Sunday. For S4, I'm kinda debating if I should even bother because of the odds would be even greater now the Jeramie fans are in the race too. Though, S4 has 16 days and S3 only 9 days. I could only speculate how eplus's lottery system works and there'd be different stats maths based on that with ticket types but i digress

twitter tickets: I don't see anyone reselling Premium seats in the first week, but listings from the general round showed up at an average rate. I am seeing S3's last weekend, so the general sale opens before my weekend's seating reveal, so I grab a ticket just to be safely seated more upfront than general sale. I am cheap and waiting for last-minute (and premium) resells after the redemption date and closer to the show.

same-day tickets: The website states there will be no same-day free-seating tickets. I suppose they mean there will be no discount, but if seats are available, you should be able to buy one from the convenience store or ask the staff. I'll confirm this on-site.

JP server didn’t get this issue… My memory might not be perfect, but I did all Events on first runs, and I never got any issue completing the Mission Stamp Cards. They should already be stamped, except for “make this Character your home character”. Do you have the Spell Level to 5 maybe (some missions give Level 20 or Spell 5 as a threshold for completion) ?

If you already got the Free Event Card, upon finishing the Event, it will be sent to your Item Box on Home Screen instead, and when you collect the Card it will unlock the Card max level or give you a Perfume if you’re already max (same if you buy the Card at the Shop).

I chose this competitor because they seem to be doing exactly what I want to be doing in the sense that this is the medium that I want to start in - plastic  with minimal auxiliary design components. This is also the type of puzzle that I want to design - sequential discovery.

Pricing - When comparing the seller to others in the space, the seller positions themselves in the lower-mid range of similar products. Building their puzzles out of plastic hurts their prices because the consumer deems it to be worth less than a wood puzzle box of the same calibur. They have many small puzzles in the low-end of prices (under $50), which gives them a doorway to new customers looking to explore the puzzle box space.

Position - Their position is fantastic. They have a 4.8 star rating with over 1700 total sales. They have additional puzzles for their clients who want to buy more puzzles that range in price from $16 - $150. They have 560 "followers" on Etsy which demonstrates a loyal fanbase. New ratings for their Etsy store every month. They aren't gaining market share, but they are consistently in the first row of results for their category.

Social Media - They have no social media presence, some of their fans have tagged the seller in instagram posts but this is less than 10 total posts. They have one of their puzzles reviewed by the #1 puzzle Youtuber which gained 500k views. If they have a relationship with the creator, this would be a massive tool for them.

Summary - This seems to be a stable and consistent business that doesn't have much development since their latest product was released over a year ago. Their long history of continuous quality has given them a strong position to maintain dominance on the Etsy store. I think their strong following could give them more opportunity to sell new puzzle boxes especially since they have a Youtube video with 500k views that will continue to give them attention for years. I like the idea of giving my puzzles to influencers to promote them and will look at who I could do this with. I think the idea of having 1-2 flagship products alongside several long-tail products is a smart strategy.

2) JPGAMESLTD - https://jpgamesltd.co.uk/ & https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/JPGAMESLTD

JP Games is a dedicated business when compared to CreativeWorkshopCA which seems to be more passive. This is a comprehensive store that ranges from playing cards to dice to puzzle boxes. While they sell a variety of toys, I will be focusing on exclusively the puzzle box category. Their mediums are wood, metal, and acrylic.

Pricing - Their collection, having higher quality materials, demands a higher price point. These pieces range from $120 - $500, this is a massive difference from CreativeWorkshopCA. From the varnish to the staging of the product in the photos, it's clear why this company can both afford to produce these higher quality items and demand the price for them. The price on Etsy for the same product seems to be 80% higher, this is extreme and can be reflected in the Etsy reviews where some clients note that the price is disproportionate to the depth and breadth of the puzzle.

Position - This store has 7000 sales on Etsy with an equally impressive 4.9 star average rating after 1400 reviews. Having a dedicated website to avoid Etsy fees makes perfect sense and their website has an even larger catalog of puzzles (though many seem to be 3rd party). Having a dedicated website cuts out the 6.5% Etsy processing fee. It also removes the listing fee ($0.20 per item every 4 months). The Etsy cross-platform ad campaigns are also marked up - up to 15% for an offsite ad-generated sale.

Social Media - The disclaimer of this analysis is that JP Games does much more than just puzzle boxes. Therefore, there should be a distinction between what a puzzle box business might do and what JP Games does. JP games has a huge instagram presence with 16k followers and frequent giveaways. Their Tiktok has only 660 followers and isn't their main social media business driver. Several Youtube channels have videos on solving these puzzles, but none have more than 100k views. Cumulatively, I would guess this business has over 1m views of people solving their puzzles.

Summary - This is a fully operational toy store with a puzzle box component. While their puzzle boxes are niche, they themselves are a niche business focusing on playing cards, dice, and collectables. I don't believe there's much overlap as I understand that each collectible is often siloed from other collectables. My takeaway from this operation is presentation; both their website and Etsy page are beautiful and photos are clear and high quality.

3) FlarPuzzles - https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/flarPuzzles

FlarPuzzles is one of the smallest possible businesses to sell 3d printed toys. I would consider this to be the first step towards operating a puzzle box business. More unique than most, their main product is the digital file of the puzzle box rather than the physical object. 

Pricing - The vast majority of their 600 sales come from the design document which costs $25. To buy the physical puzzle box costs $500. Looking over the sales, I only found 1 review for the actual box purchase, which makes sense since the cost of the actual plastic is roughly $20. This seller has sold 600 copies since March 2022. I notice that smaller businesses tend to sell the design document while the larger ones don't. It's likely a question of scale in the sense that the smaller operation can't produce the boxes at a large scale.

Position - Similar to CreativeWorkshop, this is a passive business that nets revenues of $5,000 per year. A significant note to this revenue is that there is virtually no cost since the product is a digital file. This factor must be weighed when considering how CreativeWorkshop doesn't sell any digital files while they remain relatively the same size business.

Social Media - Like CreativeWorkshop, their design was featured on 2 prominent Youtube channels, garnering 300k and 60k views respectively. These are essentially the only sources of outreach the business has done. Flar has 220 Etsy "followers", which seems like a reasonable amount given that they don't generate new products. I worry that many of these followers don't have an interest in the business anymore given the inactivity and this metric is misleading.

Summary - Overall, I like what Flar has done. I think seeing the smaller businesses doing collaborations with Youtube channels makes a lot of sense. Selling the digital file is an interesting proposition and needs more consideration. The price for the completed box is too high; it's delivered completed and I think if sent unassembled it could cut costs and increase revenue.

There are two predominant dangers that come with a cashless society, and just about every negative that you can think of due to such will fall into one of these two groups:

A cashless society is a controlled society. If everything must go through an online banking or credit card process, then you have just lost virtually all control over what you buy.

Anything that is not politically sanctioned(guns, ammo, body armor, helmets, particular books, particular website premium subscriptions, political donations, etc.) could very easily be vaporized overnight.

This, of course, would drive the makers and holders of such products into a black market to barter their goods, and this in turn would be responded to by the use of overwhelming government force. This will come in the form of Stryker vehicles, concussion grenades, snipers, and men with automatic rifles and body armor.

Don’t believe me? Read FA Hayek’s The Road to Serfdom. Totalitarian governments must resort to force simply for the sole reason that people will naturally refuse to comply with widespread theft of their own goods. This force will only continue to grow in its usage.

Totalitarians do not accept blame for their own economical failures. The state is the end of all things to them, and as such, the end justifies the means – no matter how terrifying such a means may be.

Well, yes, I believe the world, at least most of Europe, will effectively go cashless in the next decade. But, no, “the necessary safeguards” will not be in place.

The WEF recently boasted in a new white paper that 98% of all central banks are now pursuing CBDC programs.  The report, titled ‘Modernizing Financial Markets With Wholesale Central Bank Digital Currency’, notes:

“CeBM is ideal for systemically important transactions despite the emergence of alternative payment instruments…Wholesale central bank digital currency (wCBDC) is a form of CeBM that could unlock new economic models and integration points that are not possible today.”

The paper primarily focuses on the streamlining of crossborder transactions, an effort which the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) has been deeply involved in for the past few years.  It also highlights an odd concept of differentiated CBDC mechanisms, each one specifically designed to be used by different institutions for different reasons.  Wholesale CBDCs would be used only by banking institutions, governments and some global corporations, as opposed to Retail CBDCs which would be reserved for the regular population. …

By extension, the adoption of CBDCs by governments and global banks will ultimately lead to what the WEF calls “dematerialization” – The removal of physical securities and money.  The WEF states:

“As with the Bank of England’s (BOE) RTGS modernization programme, the intention is to introduce a fully digitized securities system that is future-proofed for incremental adoption of DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology). The tokenization of assets involves creating digital tokens representing underlying assets like real estate, equities, digital art, intellectual property and even cash. Tokenization is a key use case for blockchain, with some estimates pointing towards $4-5 trillion in tokenized securities on DLTa  by 2030.” 

Finally, they let the cat out of the bag:

“The BIS proposed two models for bringing tokenization into the monetary system: 1) Bring CBDCs, DTs and tokenized assets on to a common unified ledger, and 2) pursue incremental progress by creating interlinking systems.

They determined the latter option was more feasible given that the former requires a reimagination of financial systems. Experimentation with the unified ledger concept is ongoing.”

To interpret this into decoded language – The unified ledger is essentially another term for a one world digital currency system completely centralized and under the control of global banks like the BIS and IMF.  The WEF and BIS are acknowledging the difficulty of introducing such a system without opposition, so, they are recommending incremental introduction using “interlinking systems” (attaching CBDCs to paper currencies and physical contracts and then slowly but surely dematerializing those assets and making digital the new norm).  It’s the totalitarian tip-toe.

The BIS predicts there will be at least 9 major CBDCs in circulation by the year 2030; this is likely an understatement of the intended plan.  Globalists have hinted in the past that they prefer total digitization by 2030.

Yes, the WEF wants all financial transactions to be digital. Yes, a cashless society ends “economic anonymity and freedom.”

Moves in that direction were part of #13 of my list of 24 items to prophetically watch in 2024:

13. CBDCs and 666

Notice the following prophecy:

16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. (Revelation 13:16-18)

This type of financial surveillance could not have happened during the time of the Apostle John as there was no real way to monitor many financial transactions then (despite the fact that ‘preterists’ believe this was fulfilled almost 2000 years ago, see also The Dangerous Rise of Preterists). The same was true for all the centuries that followed until the late 20th and now the 21st century. But now not only does the technology exist to monitor most financial transactions, the political will is there as well.

It will be a European power that will fulfill the above prophecy of 666 (watch Can You Prove that the Beast to Come is European?).

It will likely take supercomputers aided with artificial intelligence to aid in the fulfillment of the scriptures in Revelation 13:15-18, as well as cyber-spying/monitoring. I do believe that cyber monitoring will be used by the European Beast, King of the North, 666 power. …

Knowledge and monitoring of financial transactions is greatly increasing.

Europe has claimed that it will be the dominant force in cryptocurrency.

The Europeans will push for a CBDC.

Many within BRICS will push for a CBDC.

While 2024 will not see a cashless world, expect to see more movements towards monitorable payments.

Expect to see more steps related to Central Bank Digital Currencies in 2024.

The fall of the US dollar and the trend towards digital money will concern many.

Look for more totalitarian steps to be proposed and/or implemented in 2024.

Biblically, we know that 666 financial controls will be put in place in Europe, and likely elsewhere.

Actions towards Central Bank Digital Currencies look to make that easier. The US Congress will not stop what the Bible shows will happen in Europe.

World Economic Forum, CBDCs, and 666

Are there concerns about CBDCs (Central Bank Digitial Currencies)? The Summer meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) was held from June 27-29, 2023 in China. Did WEF speaker and Cornell University professor Eswar Prasad warn of CBDCs could “take us to a pretty dark place’? What did the European Commission say about the future of a digital euro and various protections the same week? Is the tweeted statement, “No one will be able to control how you use your euros” false in the long run according to biblical prophecies, such as Revelation 13:16-18? The actual future of the economy locally and internationally looks bright once crypto becomes normalized. That is the first thing I want to get out of the way and highly encourage others to learn about it. The reason governments are suspicious of it isn't because of the rug-pulls. They never gave a shit about your rights and neither did you. You get screwed every day in the workplace and at home. The real reason governments and elites in general are so hesitant to accept crypto is the impact it will have is too large once normalized. It would be bigger than pre vs post -industrial society.

First of all, pricing as you know it is gone. A loaf of bread costing 0.05 Bitcoin or 10 Pepecoin isn't very shocking, but what is is the very next day that same loaf could cost 0.5 Bitcoin vs 4 Pepecoin. This is madness and noone can prepare for it. Speculative markets become an actual sport in the future. The world loses its collective mind and you have three primary politics to consider.

Haphazardly centralizing your markets banning all shitcoins and sticking to tried and true ones. This seems most plausible as we can just turn shitcoins into scapegoats. Calling them market terrorists trying to circumvent the delicate balance.

Centralizing even further with state crypto. Third world countries might definitely try this.

Impotent market caps trying to control price variance and establishing some sort of UBI to ease people into the idea that at all times you're going to need about three different kinds of coin in three different wallets.

Regardless, society as you think of it today just would not exist. Taxation would be impossible to enforce, fiat currency would be completely obsolete, rare metals would be even more of a meme than now. The government and big banks aren't ready for it, let alone your gooning ass. Although I have heard JP Morgan and Black Rock are trying to get their hands on Bitcoin. Which depending on the way the wind blows, either means Bitcoin will stay the golden calf of crypto, or disappear into obscurity as who the hell wants to let JP Morgan and Black Rock continue to be as influential as they are? Certainly not me. Fuck JP Morgan especially.

As soon as you can buy milk and gas using crypto and I mean commonly and with the ease of a credit card swipe, this will be your future. I don't know if that's five or ten years from now but I can tell you it's less than twenty. So it's about the amount of time my fiance took to become my fiance lol.
