MGMT is one of my favorite bands and I tend to think about Hyoga when I listen to their songs so I kind of themed my blog around it. Siberian Breaks prompted my url and “Floating away isn’t rough, but it’s not enough” is a lyric from that song. My tags are also lines from their lyrics.

Seeing a Camus or Issak of course, lol. Really, seeing more people entering the rp fandom would be pretty neat. Aside from that, I’m interested in roleplaying with everyone tbh but I get too nervous about approaching others and too paranoid about my own shortcomings or writing.

10.  How do you feel about the interpretation of your character vs the fandom?

I don’t think I’ve seen anything that would be deemed too out of character when it comes to Hyoga, especially compared to the others that get it more often. I guess when people exaggerate his feelings toward his mother but then again it’s usually for like a comedic effect so.

11. Do you have fun RPing?

Yes! Even when I don’t have the motivation or muse to reply, just getting on and seeing everyone’s responses and interactions is very enjoyable.

I can’t really pick a favorite thread cause I enjoy all of them like. So much. But I’ll pick three of my favorite responses/replies (and what do you know, most of them are from Shiryu)

14. Would you get along with your muse?

Hyoga seems like a chill guy so I’d think so.

15. What’s an M!A that would be fun to try out?

Being a gold saint preparing for the next Holy War (I guess Hades comes back somehow, bummer) or anything with Midgard Hyoga cause that seems like a lotta fun.

19. What’s your opinion on blog themes? How do you feel about your own?

People tend to have really nice and elaborate themes and they put mine to shame lol. As long as I can find their rules and it’s fairy simple to navigate (not like, super complicated) I wouldn’t have a problem, go nuts with your really fancy themes.

20.  What’s something that would make you unfollow a mutual?

Aside from an obvious “Don’t be homophobic/racist/transphobic..” if I go a long time (a very long time) without interacting with a mutual at all, I’d probably unfollow.

21.  Three big no-nos to do or say to your muse. (their ‘berserk button’)

Don’t talk about his mother. Touchy subject. A stranger bringing up his friends in conversation will make him alert (that goes double for Shun), and don’t bad-name his master.

22. Three interesting little tidbits or facts of your muse.

1) Hyoga ʀᴇᴀʟʟʏ likes coffee. He prefers it black and he has a slightly dented aluminum mug that he always uses. It’s one of the few items he’s retained from his childhood so he mostly keeps it around for nostalgia.

2) He’s always wanted a dog but he’s always on the move and knows he wouldn’t be around all that much to care for it. He’s not much of a cat person.

3) His showering habits include using a bar of soap for everything (instead of using shampoo) because he wants a shower to be quick and over with, and stealing some of Shiryu’s products on occasion because they smell nice.

I have been wondering something...

Why did he did this?

I don't think he did this randomly; even if he was provoking them like his fellow god warriors were.

He'd been brain washed, right? But he kept all his memories and experience. He was still Hyoga.

Was he (subconsciously) asking for help? Was he trying to prove something? And later at the fight in the wood, he immediately did a face reveal and came clean... was he bragging? Was he planning to recruit his brother??

And why Shiryu???

Maybe it's nothing...
