Okay, Kuro Yochien's Staff Part One

The Teachers:

Professor Michaelis: Principle and Homeroom Teacher of Class Kitten. He is nice with children but very strict with adults, although his co-worker Agni gets treated nicely and gently. He is a cat demon(or person as he still is a human disguised), Class Kitten was what he named his own class. He named himself Michaelis, but it was the little baby Ciel Phantomhive who called him Sebas, and he decided to add it to his surname. Sebastian Michaelis. He is fond of all the kids, but baby Ciel has a special spot in his heart. For being such a heartless demon, little humans do soften up his heart.

Professor Agni: Sebastian's co-worker and faithful helper, in Class Kitten he assists the teacher with the children and also teaches them subjects such as Social Studies and England History. While Professor Michaelis teaches Math. He is in charge of Soma, a little prince nine-year-old, very fond of the little boy. The prince's parents left the kid under his care until they returned from India, yet they never did. Agni is under the impression that they had indeed abandoned their son, but Agni does a very good job as his father figure.

The children:

Ciel Phantomhive: The youngest child of Class Kitten, a baby almost close to his one year birthday. He was the son of the former Earl of Phantomhive, Vincent Phantomhive and Rachel Phantomhive. Whose family was killed a few months after his birth. His home was burned down, but the baby was rescued and taken to the old orphanage which was where Professor Michaelis used for his daycare. And he was discovered by said professor, who made himself his new surrogate father. He is the baby, he likes dogs and sweets even in his young age, doesn't like strangers other than Professor Michaelis, and the children who he interacts with everyday.

Lizzy Midford: Ciel's cousin, who is two years old and her parents had enrolled her in the same day care her cousin is, just because the family wanted them to interact at a young age. And she is the one to marry Ciel when they become older. It is uncertain why the Midford family didn't take Ciel in given he was a member of their own family. But apparently, Professor Michaelis refused to let them keep the baby, when he had already taken care of him since day one. Either way, they agreed to enroll Lizzy in Kuro Yochien because Ciel was there.

Prince Soma: The joyous nine-year-old prince of India whose parents took to India when they were in a trip, found Agni there and made him caretaker of Soma, entrusting their son to him which he obliged without any qualms. The parents said they would return and never did. Agni took Soma as his own child, he is not able to tell the boy the truth, he would not handle the pain Soma would feel at all. So he keeps the lie that his parents will come back soon. Soma is very cheerful, adores Agni and treats Ciel like his baby brother, actually has a rivalry with Finny, another kid who Professor Michaelis looks after. They fight over who baby Ciel likes the most, their fights sometimes become physical so Michaelis and Agni separate their charges when they become too much, if one hurt either of them, they get put in timeout or lose recess.

Finnian "Finny": He is 7 and Professor Michaelis rescued him one night, when he was going to the market to buy supplies for the kids and the day care. He was nameless so, Michaelis gave him the name of Finnian who he calls Finny for short, he allowed him to come join his found family. The boy escaped a laboratory which awful humans used to experiment on him, Michaelis felt an inexplicable surge of rage when he heard the poor little defenseless thing tell him that, that he left Agni in charge of the kids they had so far and went to destroy that sinister laboratory with its beasts. He did not tell him what he did, the child did not need to know about that. Finny is a kid who is a sweetpea and almost never causes any trouble, he has enhanced super strength which his teacher, is trying to tone down. He loves the only baby of the day care, having arguments with Soma and sometimes Lizzy.

Here is the most sensitive topic to talk about, which is:

《How Elizabeth betrayed O!Ciel》. (I've been working on this for days 'till now😭, please don't be mad at me)....~~ part one.

First thing first, I wanted to talk about this 'cause I've heard a lot of people talking about it from the negative side and the positive side.

All I want to say is this post is just my opinion according to what I've learned from re-reading the manga (and people's comments).

I know most people are saying how much of a betrayal Elizabeth is and standing against her, and some people defending her, and I personally saying that I've been through both.

But let me tell you this before I start, if we were to follow our feelings and what we need to hear about this character, then I want to say congratulations, we do look like this now:

I'll make it short by saying this:

The feelings we have towards Elizabeth now is not hate, but it's more like disappointment and anger at the same time.

Because most people would say: omg why would she do this, I used to like he but now I don't, how could she betray O!Ciel and blame him for what she is now.

Believe me, I've been through all this all the time, but it ended up just like the pic above.

So, let me say this: if we're to HATE Elizabeth personally and blame her directly, we would be the fool ones in the end.

What I mean is: the one to be blamed for what happened to her is not O!Ciel, neither R!Ciel nor herself, but none other than those:

Angelina Dalles and Francis midford.

I know some people are fan for those two, but excuse me for saying this:

Those two are the ones responsible for what happened to Elizabeth.

Simply, if you are more focused, you would realize how is this possible.

As we can see, Angelina here must have manipulated Elizabeth with those words of hers as "how to capture someone's attention", especially since we all know how she used to love Vincent before, we can also see how these words took their effect on Elizabeth and made her lying to herself and working hard on hiding a personality she couldn't find inside her nor believing in herself, by just pretending to be someone she don't even know.

Drawing a fake smile all over, talking nonsense about whatever girl's should do to win someone's heart, all this shit made Elizabeth blind to what she really wants to be.

On the other hand, the pressure on her increasing by knowing that the person she wants to be with is not a fan of strong and powerful girls. And that was a strong fall for her, as a 7 years old child.

Next, we have this. She starts fighting to hide a personality inside her by creating a new one, yet, we can see how her mother forcing her on showing the hidden personality she has.

And I want to say this specially to Francis:

Like who TF forcing a little child, all she must think about is playing, eating, learning and dressing like a normal child, on carrying such a duty as protection????.

She's forcing her on doing something she couldn't do, and I'm talking about how she couldn't protect her mother and brother. Yet forcing her daughter to protect her fiance because something might happen to them, she's only 7 and telling her that it's for his sake and hers?.

And do you think she would be able to even move a muscle if she saw what O!Ciel had seen?, the answer is no. She would scream and cry for help, and maybe she will get kidnapped as well, simply.

And that is exactly what I'm trying to say, if y'all were to blame and hate someone, it must be them for what they have done and said to her.

All this pressure on her had her blind of what she want and what her feelings actually are.

We can see here how she became confused, she can't even tell whether to blame O!Ciel or herself for being too blind to realize, I know O!Ciel is also blamed for lying to her in the first place, but let's not forget the two persons who made her doubt her feelings. She went too deep that she couldn't even know she actually loved R!Ciel or not, nor she could tell the difference between them.

I still can't understand this scene, but all I could understand is that if R!Ciel was the one who survived, would she be happy for this or she would have the same feeling when O!Ciel came back?. I still don't know but in my opinion, I guess it's the second option, that she would feel less happy, because the one who came back is the same person who told her that he dislike strong women, and she will have to force herself over again to hide her personality. If you guys thought about it for a moment, you would realize it would be the same thing for each one, R!Ciel and O!Ciel.

But what she meant when she said "if he hadn't lied" is what I can't understand yet. If O!Ciel hadn't lied to her, would she accept herself when he told her that he doesn't mind strong women?, would she accept that he treated her how she deserve?. I guess this might make sense, since O!Ciel lied to her about his real identity. We can tell it's his fault for now.

my take on the modern kuro kids and parents au <3

• Ciel and his twin Astre were adopted by Sebastian and Mey-rin Michaelis after they were orphaned at age 8

• The parents put the twins in therapy to help manage the ptsd from losing their parents in a traumatic manner and suffering abuse from a previous foster family

• At their first group therapy session, the twins befriend Alois who had been placed in the therapy service by his own parents, Claude and Hannah, whom Sebastian was coincidentally friends with in college.

• At school, the twins met and befriended Soma, Elizabeth, Finnian, Sieglinde, and Doll

• Sebastian owns and runs a tattoo parlor whilst Mey-rin works at a local shooting range. Claude and Hannah work at a bar across the street from Sebastian’s tattoo parlor, Sieglinde’s father owns a real-estate company, Elizabeth’s family are all military employees, Soma’s single dad Agni owns a catering company, and Doll lives with her older sister Mary, affectionately called ‘Beast’, who helps run a pet store with their brother. Finnian lives with his dad, Baldroy, who cooks at the bar Claude and Hannah work at.

• When the twins were 13 the couple split, but still keep up a healthy co-parenting relationship.

• Sebastian and Beast are best friends, as her and Doll live right across the street from his house, and the two have frequent wine nights where they bitch about their mutual hatred for Francis Midford, the PTO President.

• Mey-rin constantly embarrasses the twins by always showing up first to every school event and hugging them persistently when they’re at her house

• Mey-rin started dating her coworker Ran-Mao a year after her and Sebastian split. He fully supports the couple and helped them move into the townhouse they share.

• Alois is constantly at the Michaelis residence when the twins are at Sebastian’s because he has a pretty up and down relationship with Claude, and Sebastian doesn’t mind one bit because he knows how his college friends used to fight when they first got together and can’t imagine it’s gotten any better

• When Grell Suttcliffe, a young attorney, moves in the house next door, she is immediately smitten by Sebastian, but he pretends he finds her annoying and hides his own feelings at first because he’s scared to let her into the twin’s life. Alois and the twins however, persistently make attempts to get them in situations where they have to interact to push the relationship further.

• Sieglinde and Lizzie are ride or die best friends, Lizzie filling the role as passenger princess in Sieglinde’s car as the Midfords won’t buy her another one after she hit a mailbox.

• Astre constantly complains about Alois’s driving but still rides with him to school everyday

• Agni and Sebastian made the entire gang get a life360 circle with them solely because of Ciel and Soma.

• Sebastian hosts a weekly dinner party with Beast and Doll, Claude, Hannah, and their two sons, and Agni and Soma.

• Astre has crushed on Finnian for years but against the pressures of Lizzie and Sieglinde, will never make a move

• Ciel and Lizzie are the lovably annoying ‘on again off again’ couple of the gang

• Alois and Astre were each other’s first kiss, none of the gang ever found out because the two immediately knew they were better off as best friends.

• The gang have an infamous groupchat, properly dubbed, ‘Insanity at its finest’

Kuroshitsuji Underappreciated Characters Week: Event Rules

Hi, all!

Our underappreciated characters week will be held September 7-14, 2020. Based on the results from our poll, the lineup is as follows:

September 7: Prince Soma

September 8: The Midfords

September 9: Agni

September 10: Ran Mao

September 11: Wolfram

September 12: Lau

September 13: The Weston boys

And don’t worry if your fave didn’t make the cut! We’re designating September 14th as a "miscellaneous” day, during which you can make content for any minor character of your choosing.

Rules

1. No fetishization, incest, pedophilia, transphobia, sexualization of minors, etc. will be tolerated.

2. We will accept both SFW and (moderately) NSFW works. However, since the focus of this event is spreading positivity related to the characters, please refrain from graphic violence, rape/noncon elements, etc. and tag any NSFW themes appropriately.

3. Shipping and gen works will both be accepted, including ships involving characters from different days.

4. Any and all forms of media may be used, including but not limited to fic, art, moodboards, AMVs, manga colorings/edits, anime gifs, etc. However, please give credit to the mangaka if manga/doujinshi panels are used.

Imo when OC came back he was acting more like The Real Ciel anyways , more confident , capable , competitive , outspoken and with a darker side to him .

Compared to Oc who was always kind , innocent and softspoken . Of course no one would suspect a thing , who would expect the nice spare " sirius " to take on the watchdog duties so well and rebuild the Phantomhive name so fast ?? I literally don't blame anyone for not being able to tell the difference between the twins , he definitely put on a great show .

Yeah ! ! I mean, like, people who shame Lizzie and co. for not noticing don't realize how abnormal the whole fking situation is SHUDI. Like, "oh wow, they didn't notice he wasn't Ciel, they clearly didn't care about him" LIKE... WHY WOULD THEY EVEN CONSIDER THAT HE WOULD TRY TO BE CIEL??? WHY WOULD THEY THINK THAT?? THAT'S WEIRD. THAT'S A WEIRD THOUGHT TO HAVE SDUH. I mean, they can't freakin' peer inside O!Ciel's head and see how he thought of himself. THEY DON'T EVEN LIVE WITH THE BOY... GEEZUS. SDUHI

They didn't know he was constantly comparing himself to Ciel and felt inferior. Frances had no idea he overheard that private conversation with Vincent nor how it'd affect him. Lizzie was just a child who wanted to play with her fiancé, but she still showed concern and kindness to O!Ciel and worried about him whenever he got sick. It's not like she neglected him or told him to get lost. It's not a crime for her to have liked Ciel more, jfc. It's not something she needs to feel bad about.

And I mean, like you said, he's very different from how he was when he was little. Shy, kind, hiding behind things, reclusive, and kept to himself. (Well, he still does that last bit LOL) but like, he came back after a great freaking tragedy. His parents and everyone else was MURDERED, he and his brother were missing for OVER A MONTH and HE RETURNS BY HIMSELF.... HE LOST A FKING EYEBALL.... it doesn't take a genius to figure out that he went through some horrible shit. No one was gonna expect "Ciel" to be the same bouncy, outspoken, happy-go-lucky kid and I think that fact is what really kept anyone from noticing. ANd honestly, I think it's kind of fucked up for o!ciel to take advantage of that but that's a whole 'nother story sudhi

'Cos I mean like, like you said, he's definitely different from his younger self but he's also super different from how Ciel was back then as well, at least from what we've seen so far. I agree with you, though. Ciel was more confident, outspoken, and appears to have a dark streak even back then, though we haven't really seen it yet. O!Ciel certainly puts up this confident, composed, tough guy act when he is on the job in front of an enemy or unfamiliar crowds and it probably resembles how Ciel was in a way, perhaps. But.. it's not like he's like that 24/7 and he's more relaxed around those he's comfortable with.. like the Midfords. So I don't think he's just putting up this act every time he's around them. I mean, there are literally moments where he forgets that he's pretending to be his brother, like when Lizzie talked about the Easter egg and he was like "EH?" LMAO. And like.... gAh so it's hard for me to put my thoughts into words sduhsij it's even harder since we haven't even seen what Ciel is like outside of his relationship with his brother sgduhi

But like.. what I'm trying to say is like... there are very big noticeable differences between how O!Ciel is and how Ciel was that I think would have given him away SO, SO EASILY, if not for the tragedy SDUHSD. Because, like I said, no one was expecting "Ciel" to behave as he did before. It would be completely normal if he was different. Like, at the top of my head, the fact that we always saw Ciel taking Lizzie's hand and pulling her along, taking the lead, and how it switched to her being the one to do that. O!Ciel was often at home and in the rare moments he did go out, he did not have to be sociable. He didn't even know how to dance. He's probably a bit awkward in a way that I think resembles his younger self far more than Ciel. I wanna give more examples but WE DONT HAVE ENOUGH INFO ON CIEL SIDUHYSHUD 😭😭 ALL I CAN DO IS THEORIZE ON WHAT HE MIGHT HAVE BEEN LIKE AND SAY "THIS IS HOW OC IS DIFFERENT FROM HIM" SDHUS 😭

But anyway! My point is like, there are definitely things in O!Ciel's behavior that is still.. very much like how he was as a child. I mean like, he literally can't really, truly be Ciel even if he tried because they are literally two different people sduhsij. I mean, Lizzie noticed things were off about him ever since he came back from that month. And I think it's literally due to that month that kept her from figuring it out. Along with some other stuff too but mostly that lol

I mean, like, yeah Tanaka noticed, but c'mon ofc he would. He knew the twins better than the Midfords as he spent more time with them AND was by O!Ciel's side as the house steward. (I think that's what he is?? LOL) He had far more opportunities to notice. Plus like, it's freaking Tanaka. Do you think he lived this long under this household and doesn't know how to catch on to things?? PLS. 🤚 (not you specifically anon, the royal “you” 😊)

Like, I mean, I don't think they didn't believe O!Ciel wasn't as bright as Ciel was and wouldn't be able to like, handle being the Earl and watchdog and stuff... Frances says she never thought of him as a foolish child. He was in line as the next successor if something were to happen to Ciel. Like, no one is surprised that he was capable of taking on the role this whole time. I mean, that could change later in the manga when we see them again ofc, but right now they're only shocked and confused by his deception. I mean like, Ciel straight up says he fulfilled the role with great success to their faces. I feel like they would've shown some guilty expressions if they had underestimated him as a "spare". I mean, they could've definitely felt that way and it might get revealed later, but rn I don't really feel like that's the case here.

I think the real issue was his illness and physical prowess, which I don't think Frances had much confidence in either twin. O!Ciel probably more so though. It didn't really have much to do with whether or not he could live up to the Phantomhive legacy and was mostly a concern for his well-being and safety if he were to end up as watchdog and have to fend for himself from the criminals coming after his ass. BUT HONESTLY I STILL DONT GET WHY SHE WAS SO CONCERNED WHEN HE WAS ONLY LIKE FUKING 7 YEARS OLD?? NOT TO MENTION VINCENT AND CIEL WERE STILL VERY MUCH ALIVE????? LIKE GURL ARE YOU EXPECTING THEM TO DIE SOMETIME SOON AND OCIEL WILL HAVE TO TAKE OVER?? GURL, HE'S STILL A BABY... HIS BODY IS LITERALLY STILL DEVELOPING AND GROWING. HE COULD LITERALLY GET BETTER OVER TIME... WHICH HE DID. WHY WAS SHE SO WORRIED SO EARLY ON?? IM STILL SO CONFUSED BY THAT SCENE SDHUIJ LMAOO

I mean, even if I'm wrong and it was about him taking over as earl and watchdog and not his health, it STILL doesn't make sense for her to worry about it when Ciel was STIILL ALIIVVEEE SDHUSI. Unless she was worried about Adult!Ciel dying and just assumed O!Ciel would be weak all the way through adulthood, which is pretty dumb imo ㄟ( ▔, ▔ )ㄏ. Still doesn't make sense to worry about that when they were STILL JUST BABIES.... SDUHIJ. I'm sorry, I should move on. that scene though man, I just don't get it. I just don't understand sdsuhi

Anyway! omg I forgot what the fuck my point was I personally believe they thought they were both capable but O!Ciel had bad asthma which caused more concern and worry. But it's not like Ciel was oh so reliable in her eyes either and her view didn't change all that much

Plus the fact that they felt assured Lizzie and O!Ciel were together on the sinking ship because she would protect him at any cost, not the other way around. She thought he was R!Ciel this whole time, so there's no favoritism here or anything. I don't think she felt one twin was a better candidate for earl over the other. was that what I wanted to say?? i literally cant remember my point FUCK

greylizzy hcs (because ya’ll know I would die for that ship): newly-made fencing instructor Charles Grey is not pleased with his new student’s insubordination (read: sass, because Lizzy had dueled with Grey when she was a wee teen and she’s not going to be afraid of him now), but grudgingly duels her nearly everyday (”to demonstrate proper technique,” he explains, casting a chilling glare at one of the clumsy boys in the back). he’s one of the few males who don’t look down on the newly-admitted female populace (for their gender, at least), which makes him super popular among the ladies (Lizzy is not jealous, dammit, it’s just annoying that their practice time is cut short for some girls to bat their eyes and simper coquettishly at a semi-amused, semi-annoyed earl).

sieglinde/lizzy: they’re the queens of the school and nobody is sure whether or not they’re gay for each other because they’re so, so intimate; if boys try to confess to Lizzy while Sieglinde is around...well, they don’t. and so Lizzy continues on her merry way, none the wiser, while Sieglinde sends them all a smug smirk as she trails after her.

also, upperclassman soma (probably in his last year or so of college): would 100% fight any guys who belittle the girls and literally whisk them away everywhere

alois (because I love this little shit): discovers that Lizzy Midford’s reactions are even better than the late Earl Phantomhive’s; proceeds to vie for her attention in classes like dancing; he, lizzy, and sieglinde become a study group; he and sieglinde also have a veryyyy friendly rivalry; he mellows out as time goes on; he also dislikes grey a lot; he and Lizzy become dancing partners because that must be a thing

Vincent and Diederich, canonverse, brotp kind of relationship but shipping/one sided pairing is not excluded. Crack/funny. Diederich is positively shocked that Vincent would go full drag to solve a murder case of some sort. And even more shoked to see how well it makes him look.

Undertaker and Othello, canonverse. A conversation, some form of interaction, hanging out, opposing views (nothing aggressive, both seem to be very curious and open to hear other opinions even if they don't change their own). Brotp interaction between the two back in Undertaker's Shinigami days. Anything, up to your imagination. 

Sebastian and Ciel, shipping not intended. Preferrably canonverse. Sebastian thinking of how everyone else sees him as deeply caring for Ciel's wellbeing, which he does with only one intent in mind - seasoning Ciel's soul to add to the 'delicacy' level he desires. Ciel knows this, so even despite living together for three years, he knows Sebastian's 'worrying' and 'affection' are all feints. However, maybe after a particularly bad nightmare, or after Sebastian doing something kind out of apparently no reason, Ciel seems to genuinely be grateful. What are Sebastian's thoughts on this? Maybe something dark and manipulating, kind of in the league of his words in the Green Witch arc when he's burning the laboratory? Or the other way around? Your choice. What I meant with no shipping is because I would prefer if this 'affection' I mentioned wouldn't be taken by you as romantic.

Joker and Bravat Sky, canonverse AU, in which they came across each other when they were young. Bravat was a charlaton, fooling people with fake fortune readings, and they meet by: either Joker is one of the people he tries to do it; or Joker attempts to steal his money and an exchange unfolds.- “Sieglinde, modern AU, rocking Japanese street fashion” (I completely stole this suggestion from the reply post on the blog, is seemed so damn cool!)
