EMBRACING YOUR EXAM RESULTS, AND PLANNING FOR YOUR FUTURE
The exam period can be overwhelming. Once you lay down your pen or hit submit for the final time, there is nothing more you can do but wait. It natural to feel a mix of excitement and nervousness, or perhaps even worry if you don’t think you excelled.
When opening your results, it’s important to remember just one thing: There are options out there for you. Throughout this article, we aim to provide you with some guidance and support if you find your results aren’t quite where you wanted them to be.
1. Don’t Panic!
This is easier said than done, but try to stay positive. Worrying won’t change the outcome, so instead focus on what you did well and where your strengths lie. Embrace the idea that your journey is just at the beginning, and you have plenty of time to shape your future if you plan your path.
2. Seek Support
If you're feeling overwhelmed about your results, don't hesitate to seek support. Rely on people around you for advice and guidance, like your teachers, friends, and family. Talking about your concerns often make them feel less heavy, and easier to work through logically. Seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
3. Try Anyway!
Maybe you were disappointed, but you didn’t need to be? Maybe the university you hoped to get into still has a place for you? You can only ask! Make an appointment or pop in to speak with the Admissions Team. At Middlesex University Dubai, our team are there to listen, advise and give you some options to work with. They will tell you honestly what your chances of success are, and guide you through the process of application.        Tristan Anderson, the Assistant Student Recruitment Manager at Middlesex University Dubai said: “Not meeting your expected results can be disheartening, but you’re not alone. The team here at MDX have seen it all! We take into consideration all aspects of our applicant’s high school journey, including personal and academic merits. It’s likely that we can still plan a route for you at Middlesex University Dubai. If you’re concerned in any way, please reach out to us. We will support you however we can.”
4. Take a Good Look at Your Options
You may need to rethink some of your next steps. And that’s okay! You could consider a slightly different university programme, or even an International Foundation Programme (IFP) instead.
An IFP is a year of study that allows you to bridge any gaps you may have between your exam results and the entry requirements for an undergraduate degree. These programmes can actually be advantageous, as you get to experience what academic life is like, learn how to write essays at university level, and get a taster for your future programme before some of your classmates.
5. Listen to Other’s Experiences
Sometimes, hearing the stories of others who have also faced challenges in their academic career and triumphed can be extremely motivating. Look online for stories of people who have carved successful careers despite their exam results.
If you are considering IFP as a route for you, we even have a blog post here by a previous IFP student who shared her experience!
So remember, your journey is only just beginning! And with some hard work and dedication, you can achieve your goals and get on track for the future you want. And if you ever need advice and guidance about your education, regardless of your exam results, MDX are here for you.

Residential area in Dubai
Jumeirah Village Triangle (JVT for short) is a popular choice among those looking for apartments, villas, and townhouses in Dubai. Featuring sports courts, parks, and a wide range of modern amenities and offering affordable homes close to important highways, JVT is a one-of-its-kind residential area.
Follow along as we explore the factors that make JVT a unique residential area in Dubai.
Strategic Location
Tumblr media
Situated at the junction of Al Khail Road and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, JVT is strategically located. Living here means you will never have a problem commuting to other sections Dubai. Another thing that is in favor of JVT is its proximity to other top residential communities, like JVC. As a result of which, JVT residents enjoy easy and quick access to community amenities in those developments like malls, hospitals, and restaurants.
A Wide Range of Properties are on Offer
When it comes to accommodation options, JVT is second to none. From townhouses to villas and apartments, you will find every kind of residential property here. This makes it a suitable destination for families with kids, as well as young couples and singles.
Those interested in a small, private, cozy home are likely to find JVT’s townhouses — available in 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom units — to their liking. Villas in JVT, in contrast, are much spacious and have 2 to 5 bedrooms. Landscaped backyards and large plot sizes are some of the perks of living in JVT’s villas. Another advantage is that residential properties here typically yield a high return on investment. Whether you are looking for a property to invest or personal use, JVT is one name that you should certainly add to your list.
Even though JVT primarily features townhouses and villas, several apartment complexes are also present. These apartments are perfect for people who want to live in smaller homes but do not want to miss out on the amenities that top residential communities like JVT offer.
There are over 5,000 residential properties in JVT, and the residential part of the community is divided into 9 areas. While villas and townhouses feature a blend of modern and Mediterranean styles, apartments have a practical and attractive design. You will find spacious living rooms, balconies offering amazing views, bathrooms featuring high-quality plumbing, and fully equipped kitchens inside all apartments.
As a general rule, the first floor of all apartment complexes features a slew of infrastructure facilities, like cafes, shops, and beauty salons. In short, whether it is villas, townhouses, or apartments that interest you, you can be sure of one thing: JVT promises a very comfortable life.
Plenty of Community Amenities
JVT boasts plenty of amazing community amenities. These include several walking paths, parks, and tennis courts. Green spaces spread throughout the residential community offer the ideal retreat for both children and adults while tennis courts are popular among those who like to stay active.
Urban amenities present inside the JVT community itself, like restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets, make living convenient and easy. In addition to these, the community also has a pet store, which is great news for pet lovers. There is also a petrol station located right at the edge of the JVT community.
Educational Institutes are Nearby
The presence of schools and nurseries inside the community’s premises is a huge plus for families. For younger kids, there are two nurseries within JVT: the Jumeriah International Nursery and Kids Kingdom Nursery School. JVT also boasts two schools for older children: Arcadia School and Sunmarke School.
Other schooling options include Victory Heights Primary School, JSS International School (JVC), Dubai British School (The Springs) and GEMS United School (Dubai Sports City).
While JVT does not have any universities, there are several options that are not more than a 20-min drive away. These include Middlesex University, American University, and Keystrokes University.
Al Khail Avenue Mall
While yet not completed, Al Khail Avenue Mall is likely to prove a great addition to the JVT area. Sprawling across roughly 2 million square feet, Al Khail Avenue Mall will features multi-screen cinemas, well-known stores and brands, supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants. Once this mall opens, JVT residents will have access to world-class entertainment, dining, and shopping options right inside the community.

The level of education and qualifications in Dubai schools is a topic of great importance and debate. With the recent introduction of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program in Dubai, there has been a shift in the way that schools are teaching and students are learning.
Whether you’re a parent trying to decide which school is best for your child or a student trying to figure out which path to take, this article will provide some helpful insights.

There are two main types of schools in Dubai: private schools and public schools. Private schools in Dubai are not government-funded and are usually run by for-profit organizations. Private schools typically have smaller class sizes, more experienced and qualified teachers, and better resources than public schools. However, they also tend to be more expensive than public schools. Public schools in Dubai are government-funded and are free to attend for residents of the UAE. Public schools typically have larger class sizes, less experienced and qualified teachers, and fewer resources than private schools. However, they are generally more affordable than private schools.

The minimum qualifications needed to teach in Dubai are a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a Bachelor’s degree with a teaching qualification. Most teachers in Dubai have a Master’s degree, and many have PhDs. All teachers must be licensed by the Ministry of Education. There are different types of licenses, depending on the level of education you wish to teach. For example, those who wish to teach early childhood education must have a license for that specific age group. To be eligible for a teaching license, candidates must pass an examination set by the Ministry of Education. THE WEEK'S NEIGHBORHOOD: JUMEIRAH DUBAI
The favorite destination for visitors, Jumeirah Dubai, is home to world-class neighborhoods that are known to give residents a luxurious lifestyle. The majority of these neighbourhoods is self-contained and has a variety of amenities and services for residents.
In this week's neighborhood of the week, we have picked "Jumeirah". "It is regarded as the" Beverly Hills of the Middle East "as one of the top residential communities in Dubai. And this title is completely justified by the glitz and glamour of this culture.
Jumeirah-A short intro
Located along the coast of Dubai, Jumeirah is a residential waterfront area that provides residents with mesmerizing views of the Arabian Sea. As a Jumeirah resident, along with numerous conveniences, you will enjoy an upscale and exuberant lifestyle. Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina, Internet City and Dubai Media City are some famous communities positioned near this area.
For the numerous properties it nestles, Jumeirah is not only renowned for the vibrant aura it exudes, but it has also become an integral part of Real Estate Developers in Dubai success. There are abundant options for them for those searching for residential properties for sale in Jumeirah. Interested buyers can pick any form of living space that fits their tastes and suits their budget, from ultra-luxury villas to apartments and townhouses. Most of these dwellings come with open green spaces such as the backyard and front yard, and swimming pool, particularly villas and townhouses.
Despite being a popular tourist attraction, though offering a peaceful environment, it offers a private lifestyle. Jumeirah residents have easy access to schools, shopping malls, grocery stores, pharmacies, and centers for health care, gyms, and recreational venues. It's a perfect place to live for beach lovers as it provides them with easy access to Jumeirah Beach, the favorite of all.
As villas and townhouses have their own parking space, there's no parking problem in Jumeirah. Residential buildings, too, have ample resident parking space. In paid street parking zones, visitors can park their vehicles.
Jumeirah Dubai Sub-Communities
The Dubai region of Jumeirah is divided into various sub-communities. They are:
 —Jumeirah 1
This sub-community is renowned for apartments and studios. Other than that, villas in Jumeirah 1 are open. Also close by are prominent landmarks such as Dubai Zoo, Jumeirah Public Beach, and Jumeirah Mosque.

 Jumeirah Residential Properties
In Jumeirah, residential properties include flats, villas, townhouses and penthouses. If you are searching for smaller living rooms, you will find studios as well. These units are sold in various configurations. For instance, you can choose from 1, 2, or 3-bedroom options if you are looking for Jumeirah area Dubai Apartments for Sale Cheaps. Similarly, villas, penthouses and townhouses also have different numbers of rooms.
