My masterlist
You lay back on the deck, closing your eyes as the warm sunlight bathed your skin. The gentle rocking of the boat coupled with the sound of the waves was incredibly soothing, and you felt a sense of tranquility wash over you. You took a deep breath, inhaling the salty air and feeling the tension in your body gradually dissolve. Despite the initial annoyance of waking up before Toto, you found a strange sense of peace in being alone with your thoughts, the vast expanse of the ocean acting as a natural salve for your irritation. As you continued to recline on the deck, basking in the sun, you couldn't help but marvel at the stunning beauty of your surroundings. The clear blue sky was dotted with wispy clouds, and the ocean gleamed like a sparkling gem in the sunlight. The boat rocked ever so gently, creating a gentle lulling motion that was both calming and invigorating.
The last few days spent with Toto were nothing less than perfection. When he first brought up the idea of taking you away to celebrate your recent graduate school graduation, you were completely taken back. Toto’s lifestyle and the way he chose to spoil you was something you were still acclimating to. A romantic dinner and a movie? Sure - but to be whisked away on a yacht to the middle of nowhere was something else completely. However, you couldn’t deny that it was nice to finally have some alone time together.
Between the stress of the last few weeks of classes and the Mercedes’ team finally winning two races out of the three during the triple-header, the two of you had barely been able to see each other. After some convincing, you finally agreed to a getaway with Toto for the weekend and you didn’t regret it for a second. Wining and dining you, he had spent the last few days making sure you felt like a princess. Watching the sunset together, eating 5 star meals, taking a swim in the ocean - everything felt like it was straight out of a dream. That’s not including the white hot, passionate sex that filled every other moment of your trip. Toto knew how you treat you but he knew how to treat your body even better.
Suddenly, the sound of footsteps approaching made your eyes flutter open, and you turned your head to see Toto's tall figure making his way towards you. You couldn’t help but giggle at his scrunched up face and wild bed head but as your eyes trailed down his torso you took your bottom lip between your teeth. He wore a turquoise pair of swim trunks and a white button up shirt that was open in the front, exposing his chiseled torso to you.
Toto's face broke into a small smile as he spotted you lying on the deck, a relaxed expression on your features. He made his way over, settling down next to you.
"You're up early," he commented, his voice laced with a hint of surprise. "Normally, I'm the morning person in the relationship." Toto’s voice was low, gravely, and made you clench your thighs together.
“You looked peaceful. I didn’t wanna bother you.” You sat up completely, pushing your sunglasses up to sit on top of your head.
You gave him a playful smirk, still feeling a bit cheeky from your previous annoyance. "Well, even early birds need their beauty sleep, Toto," you retorted, stretching lazily like a cat in the sun.
Toto chuckled, running a hand through his tousled hair. "True," he agreed, his eyes studying you for a moment. "Although, I have to admit, I was enjoying having the bed to myself for once."
You let out a small laugh, amused by his comment. "Oh, don't pretend you don't enjoy my nocturnal disturbances," you teased, giving him a nudge with your shoulder.
Toto feigned a look of mock offense. “Disturbances, huh?” he said, raising an eyebrow. “Is that what we’re calling your relentless bed stealing habits now?”
You let out a mock sniff of disdain. "You're just jealous that my sleeping habits are way more efficient. While you're stuck in one position, I'm maximizing the available bed space," you teased, enjoying the banter.
Toto shook his head in amusement. "Maximizing bed space, huh? More like making it impossible for anyone to get a decent night's sleep."
“You didn’t complain much last night when I kept you up for some rather adult activities” you smirked and said.
Toto's cheeks flushed slightly at your comment, the memory of the previous night's activities clearly not far from his mind. He cleared his throat, but a small smile tugged at the corners of his mouth.
"Well, I suppose there are some benefits to your... 'bed-stealing habits,'" he conceded, his tone slightly gravelly.
As Toto looked over to you, the sun glinted off your neck at just the right time, exposing to him that you were wearing the diamond necklace he had gotten you. A devilish grin spread across his face as he squatted down next to you and cupped your neck in his large hand, thumb tracing over the chain of the necklace.
“Here I thought you didn’t like this necklace.” Toto stated, eyes watching as his thumb moved back and forth over the crease of your neck, sending a shiver down your spine that made him grin even more.
“I never said I didn’t like it.” Your voice was soft, barely above a whisper. The smell of his cologne clogging up your senses, making it feel as though your head was in a cloud. “Jus’ said it was too much.”
Toto's smile grew wider as he continued to toy with the necklace around your neck, noticing the effect it was having on you. He leaned in closer, his breath ghosting over your skin.
"Ah, so you do like it, hmmm?" he teased, enjoying how his touch was making you shiver. "You're just too stubborn to admit it, Prinzessin."
You let out a breathless laugh, trying to maintain your composure despite the warmth of his touch and the intoxicating scent of his cologne. "Maybe I just don't want to stroke your ego even more," you countered, giving him a mock glare.
“You can always stroke something else of mine.” He said while looking directly into your eyes, those hazel brown eyes slowly lured you into the wood or somewhere so magically. The way Toto looked at you had always made your heart skip a beat. You didn’t know it was possible for someone to have so much love and adoration in their eyes when they looked at someone. Toto always told you that you were his greatest gift in life and he made it his mission to ensure you felt that way. Although the attention, the love, the gifts, proved to be too much at times, there wasn’t anything you wouldn’t do to get that look from him for the rest of your life.
“And you’re wearing my favorite…” A single finger ran down the strap of your swimsuit top, the coldness of the finger was a stark contrast from how warm your body felt from the sun.
“Not like I had a choice. You ripped the other one yesterday.” You teased.
Toto grinned at the memory of yesterday’s escapade. The man was lucky he was rich because he had a bad habit of ripping your clothes when they didn’t come off quickly enough for his liking.
“I’ll buy you another one.” Toto quipped.
Before you had a chance to respond, he pressed his lips to yours. Almost immediately, his tongue pressed against your lips, begging for access. You could taste mint toothpaste as he swirled his tongue around yours. You sighed into the kiss, feeling your joints buckle as they typically did whenever Toto kissed you. Every kiss you shared was filled with intensity, passion, desire, and made you feel as though you were floating on air. Instead of relying on your arms to keep you upright, you wrapped your arms around his neck and tangled your hands in his messy hair. Toto grinned, going down on one knee to make sure neither of you toppled to the ground. You felt your bottom lip become trapped between his teeth as he pulled away lightly, letting it go at the end.
“I want you to lay back. Can you do that for me, Liebe?” Toto cooed.
This time it was your turn to bite your bottom lip as you nodded, obediently laying back against the deck while you kept your eyes locked to his. As soon as you settled into position, Toto’s body was over yours and you couldn’t help but run your hands along his torso.
“I love seeing you underneath me.” Toto whispered, peppering kisses along your jaw line and tracing them down the column of your throat.
As Toto's lips continue their journey down your throat, sending shivers down your spine, you can't help but arch your back in anticipation. His hands are exploring your body, making your heart race with every touch. His fingers deftly unbutton your shorts, slipping inside to caress the warm skin beneath. He kisses a trail down your sternum, his hot breath making you gasp. Reaching the waistband, he pulls your shorts and panties down in one swift motion, revealing your glistening folds.
With a low growl of desire, Toto buries his face between your thighs, his tongue lapping at your swollen clit. He devours you with a hunger that borders on feral, his fingers spreading your lips wide to grant himself deeper access.
Your back bows off the deck as his tongue plunges into your aching heat, lapping at your walls with a skill that drives you wild. He sucks your clit between his lips, rolling the sensitive bud with his tongue while his fingers curl inside you, stroking that sweet spot that makes your vision blur. With a delicate flick of his tongue, Toto teases your entrance, encouraging you to arch your hips and beg for more. He plunges deep into your wetness with a gusto that has you gripping the edge of the deck
His lips form a tight seal around your throbbing clit as he suckles greedily, his tongue darting and swirling to drive you to the brink. You're a whimpering, mewling mess beneath him, your fingers tangling in his hair as you try to pull him closer.
Toto's tongue is relentless, stroking and circling your sensitive nub with an expertise that borders on cruel. You're a quivering, sobbing mess, your thighs clenching around his head as he feasts on your arousal.
A sigh left your lips once more as you threaded your fingers back into his chestnut hair. It felt as though every hair on your body stood up straight as Toto flickering his eyes up to meet yours, Toto leaned forward and slow up the pace. Your head fell back with a whine as your hips involuntarily jutted toward his mouth.
"Please, Toto, more.." you gasp, your hips bucking against his mouth as he ramp up the intensity. His purring vibrates against your clit, it served you so well right now.
“Oh god.” You groaned, arching your back and pushing your cunt further into his face.
Toto's tongue flickers over your clit, sending sparks of pleasure coursing through your body. Your toes are curling and your legs start to shake uncontrollably as he pushes you over the edge. He pulled back slightly and gathered your folds between his fingers and squeezed them together.
“Such a pretty pussy, Prinzessin. Love seeing the way it’s dripping for me.”
Immediately he was diving back in, letting go of your folds to hold your legs back in place. The obscene slurping noises coming from between your legs had you moaning in pleasure. The feeling of his tongue prodding at your entrance made your hands fly to his hair and your legs lock over his back.
“Go on, Liebe. Use me. Fuck yourself on my tongue.” Toto mumbled, sticking his tongue out and allowing you to rock your core over it.
“Shit, shit, shit. Oh fuck, Toto, I’m-I’m gonna cum.” You squealed, increasing the speed at which you ground yourself against him.
Just like that, you felt the white hot pleasure of your orgasm rip through you, legs shaking slightly as you clenched your thighs around his head. Instead of pulling away, Toto doubled down and dug his fingers into your hips as he pushed his face further into your core. He lapped up your orgasm like he was put on this earth to do so.
The sensitivity from your last orgasm made you jerk away from him, but Toto had no intentions of letting you go.
“Come on, Schatzi. Give me one more, I know you got one more for me.”
Toto pulled back and quickly replaced his tongue with his middle and ring finger, curling them upwards as he thrusted them. At the same time he snaked his hand over the front of your swimsuit top and yanked your breasts free, making sure to pinch and tug on your nipples as he continued his rough pace.
There was no holding back the scream that erupted from your chest as you came for the second time. The orgasm that ripped through you was one that was so intense you could swear your eyes rolled all the way back into your head. Toto placed light kisses over your mound as you came down from your high.
“Good job, Schatzi. You did so good for me.”
Your eyes fluttered open slowly as Toto crawled back over you, grinning at your fucked out state. His nose traced the curve of your jaw as he waited for you to come back to. Licking your lips you pushed on his chest, signaling for him to let you up. As he sat up you followed him, only to push him down to the floor. Toto grinned at you proudly.
“Schatzi you know you don’t have to—“ Toto’s sentence was cut short with a low groan as you ran your hand over the length of him through his shorts.
Quickly ridding him of his swim trunks you took the length of him into your hand and pumped up and down a few times. You’d become wholly familiar with his anatomy in the time you’d been dating, but each time you saw his cock always felt like the first. Toto groaned, lips slightly parted as he looked down at you. Maintaining that eye contact, you leaned in and swirled your tongue around the head.
“Fffuck.” Toto breathed, gathering your hair at the top of your head so he wouldn’t miss a single view of you wrapped around his cock.
Moving down toward the bottom, you licked a stripe up the underside of his cock before taking as much of him in your mouth as you were able. Toto grunted loudly, doing his best to keep his hips from bucking up into your mouth.
“Jesus Christ. You feel so good, Liebe.” Toto praised.
You looked up at him from under your lashes as you continued to suck his cock. The blissed out look on his face made your core throb. There was something about the way you made him feel so good that you absolutely adored. You took your time, taking as much of him as you could as slowly as you could. Other men you were with liked their head messy and fast, but Toto always commented on how much he loved the way you took your time with him.
Pulling away, you continued to stroke him with your hand as you moved down to take his balls into your mouth and suck on them gently. As you began to do so, you felt his cock jump in your hand and a grin spread across your face.
“Fuck, Liebe, stop, stop.” Toto grabbed you and pulled you up.
Crashing his lips to yours, the kiss was needy and messy. Toto held your face tightly in his hands as you scrambled onto his lap. You pushed the shirt off his shoulders and Toto shrugged it off, pulling away to look at you.
“God, you’re gonna be the death of me one day, Schatzi. You make me feel so fuckin’ good.”
Positioning yourself over him, you sank down slowly on to his cock. The stretch was something you still hadn’t gotten used to, but god did it feel incredible. Each and every time you wondered how it was possible to feel so full. Toto grabbed your face and pulled you into another kiss as you allowed yourself to get used to him. Your arms wrapped around his neck and you pulled away from the kiss.
“Please move, Toto.” You panted.
Toto’s hands found their way to your hips as he slowly started to help you move back and forth. A long groan came from you as you leaned your head back. Toto took the opportunity to nibble gently on your pulse point. The rock of your hips back and forth had his pelvis hitting your clit each time, causing a surge of pleasure to shoot through your body.
“More, I need more.” You moaned out.
Toto wrapped his arm around your waist as he flipped you onto your back. The moment your back hit the floor, his pace increased tremendously. The lewd sound of slapping skin filled the area and you were grateful you were out in the middle of nowhere.
“You were fuckin’ made for me weren’t you, Schatzi? Goddamnit, you fit me like a fucking glove.” Toto growled, pushing your leg back even further so he could drill into you at a different angle.
You wrapped your hands around his forearm as he held on to your hip. The drag of his cock against your velvety walls had your eyes rolling into the back of your head once more. The hand that rested on your hip moved to rest on your lower abdomen right above your pelvis as he continued to piston in and out of you.
The movement only made the pressure in your abdomen increase tenfold and you could feel yourself starting to clench around him involuntarily.
“P-please, I-“
“You need to cum, hmm? My pretty girl gonna cum?”
“Please!” You yelled out as he snapped his hips particularly rough into you.
Toto placed both hands on your hips as he lifted you slightly off the ground, pounding into you with all he had. As he did so you reached your hand down your front and rubbed your clit in fast circles.
“Oh fuck, yeah. Rub your clit Liebe. Cmon, cum for me.”
After a few more snaps of his hips you felt yourself tensing up, toes curling as your third orgasm washed over you. This time your legs were shaking visibly and you groaned loudly.
“So fuckin pretty when you cum, Schatzi. Fuck.”
It was obvious that Toto was close. You could feel him twitch inside of you as well as the way his hips were beginning to falter.
“Want you to cum in me, Liebe. Wanna feel you cum in me.” You whimpered up at him.
“Fucking Christ!” Toto fell forward, hands on either side of you as he shoved his hips forward, painting your walls with his spend.
Toto remained leaning over you, pressing his forehead to yours as you moaned in tandem. Breathing in each other’s breath, you reached up and cupped his cheek. Toto wrapped his fingers around your wrist and turned his head to press a kiss to your palm, biting down on the flesh of your hand slightly. You giggled, watching him grin at your noise.
Toto pulled away from you, using the towel you had been sunbathing with to help clean you up. Toto laid down against the deck and you curled up against him, pressing a kiss to his chest as you tangled your leg with his. He stroked your hair with his hand as he pressed a kiss to your crown.
“Yeah,” he started, twirling your hair around his finger, “I’d say you deserve the moon.”
You laughed, hitting his chest for his dumb joke. Toto chuckled, taking your hand in his and lifting it up to his lips for a kiss.
“I love you, Schatzi. And I’m so proud of you.”
You could feel your heart swell at his words. Whenever you were with Toto, all you felt was love.
“I love you too, Toto. Thank you, for everything.”
The two of you remained tangled in one another while you regained your strength. The boat was quiet, the soft crashing of the waves once again soothing your senses as you let your eyes closed.
“So…” Toto’s voice brings you back to reality, “how about a round two?”

I'm perfectly fine, I live on my own I made up my mind, I'm better off bein' alone
Was there something wrong with prioritizing work and school? In your mind, absolutely not. However, whenever you received another invitation to a high school friend’s wedding, it put a seed of doubt in your head. All of these acquaintances had met their true love in college, or high school, or, god forbid, middle school, and where were you? Studying.
Everyone assured you that everyone blooms in their own time, and comparison is the thief of joy, blah, blah blah. You were only convinced to attend an outdoor wedding in the middle of June with the promise of an open bar and wedding cake. The dress was a mauve purple maxi dress, that compressed your body in a way that made you feel like a goddess (and was sure to make you sweat). The neckline sat below spaghetti straps and wasn’t incredibly showy, but to ensure respect, you wore a light gray shrug cardigan and paired the outfit with white satin pumps. Looking at your reflection instilled a bout of confidence, yet you sighed. What’s that saying? Always a wedding guest, never a bride, or something to that effect.
The wedding was charming, if a little gauche. You and Caroline had maintained a friendship since Freshman year, where she met Todd, and that was it for the both of them. The ceremony was beautiful and the speeches given by their friends and family were tear jerking. You congratulated the happy couple then immediately made your way to the bar, where you ordered a strong enough cocktail to make you cough at the first sip.
“Careful there,” a voice interrupted, “I do not know CPR.”
“Don’t worry, if I stop breathing, let me.” The voice was silent. “Oh, that was a … weird thing to say, I’m sorry.”
You turned, to make the apology more sincere, and quite enjoyed the view. He was a few inches over six feet, with a mane of dark, curly hair that fell just shy of his shoulders. He said something but your hearing was failing you at the moment. He bumped your shoulder in jest, a smirk shining on his lips.
Late in the night, the city's asleep Your love is a secret I'm hoping, dreaming, dying to keep
A few weeks later, you would have thought you had known Danny your whole life. He certainly felt like he had been there forever, like a friend from Kindergarten you remember fondly, but whose name falls short. He was quick to introduce you to his friends and bandmates, who welcomed you with open arms.
More than his presence, Danny was like no man you had ever met before. Although neither of you had thought to label what you were, his lips randomly spilled with “baby”s and “honey”s instead of your name, like they were your moniker.  It wasn’t until about a month after your meeting that Danny kissed you for the very first time. It felt so natural, like your lips were where his belonged, where they should stay forever and you would never need to breathe.
In that moment, every quip or pessimistic remark you had made about love was proven wrong. You were wrong. Nothing ever was or would be more important than Daniel Wagner, and each kiss he continued to plant made you tipsier than any wine or liquor ever could. His hands grasped at your hips like you were the only thing stabilizing him to the earth, reaching into your soul and touching you where you had been so sure had disappeared. Screw anything you thought was worth anything, because this was worth everything, and his lips could have been coated in gold, they were so valuable.
The opulence that his kiss instilled was just enough of a reason to agree to go with him on a weekend getaway. Of course, he asked, knowing your bag was already packed, and as soon as the “sure” left your lips, he was dragging you to his car. The drive to Gatlinburg wasn’t very long, but you would have given anything to make it longer, to hear his voice sing various 80s tunes, his fingers drumming along on the steering wheel. To have his hand extended over the console, waiting for yours, so he could kiss your knuckles.
And you move to me like I'm a Motown beat And we rule the kingdom inside my room (inside my room, oh)
The weekend, too, passed quickly. You played board games with him in the warm glow of the fireplace, forced him to watch early 2000s rom-coms (and saw him tear up at Bridget Jones’s Diary), and laid with him under pale moonlight, between flannel bed sheets, listening to the thumping rhythm in his chest. It was almost musical.
On Monday, you were back at work, aching to go back in time, for just a second, to relive those moments where it was just the two of you. That strange feeling in your chest made you nervous, in a good way. During his regular texts to you that day, Danny casually mentioned a house party one of his friends in another band was throwing, silently asking you to go with him. Of course you would, you would go anywhere with him.
Your studious days in college didn’t allow much for parties, at all, really. You had managed to attend one that got shut down by the cops, in the first fifteen minutes of your attendance. That had been an omen to you, that you simply just were not meant to be a partier. Danny, oh, he was a natural, much like he was at everything else. You were giddy at the idea of the red plastic cup in your hand, like you were 16 again, and Danny just laughed and kissed your forehead.
When it got too loud that Danny could no longer hear you, he gently grabbed your hand, leading you to a bedroom upstairs.
Say you fancy me, not fancy stuff Baby, all at once, this is enough
“If you think I’m having sex with you in here-”
“No!” He laughed, opening the window. The roof outside was relatively flat, easy enough to maintain sitting on it, and he climbed out. When he steadied himself, he held his hand out for you, and you couldn’t help but smile as you took it.
As Danny held your body close to his, he pointed out different guests, and told you various pieces of gossip that he had heard. You’d laugh occasionally, but you couldn’t help but lose focus, keeping your gaze on him, but your mind on the thought of him. Finally, that Saturday, at 10:38 P.M., you realized that you were in love with Daniel Wagner. For the first time, you basked in it, let yourself absorb the warmth of sharing a heart with someone. All of the little things about Danny held your focus for longer than you could manage to comprehend. The slope of his nose, each curl in his hair, and those dark eyes, with hints of gold and mischief.
“-I love you.” You hadn’t meant to interrupt him. But the smile on his face told you he didn’t really mind.
“I love you too, baby.” He leaned in for a kiss, effectively sealing the deal. Danny owned you, but you owned him too.
And all at once, you are the one I have been waiting for King of my heart, body and soul, ooh whoa

Alice Cullen
Tumblr media
Pairing: Alice Cullen x (Female) vampire!dancer! reader
Warnings: None
Requested: @jamiebarnesws
Ask:
Hello, hello! How are you? I hope everything is fine with you! I would like to make a request. Here's an idea. Alice x Female!Vampire!Dancer!Reader. Before turning into a vampire, Reader was an incredibly talented dancer. At the moment she works as a choreographer in a very famous dance studio. How did Alice meet Reader? What kind of relationship will they have? By the way, Reader's ability is to make a person dance. Thank you very much!
***
There was a lot to remember when the past of your human life comes across your mind.
The one that has stuck with you was the fact that you were a very talented dancer and made had made an successful career out of if. In the beginning, you truly believed that this kind of lifestyle would the one to live with until the day you die. Which was sort of what came to be not long after you had met and befriended Alice Cullen.
Alice Cullen was one of the sweetest people you or anyone else can ever meet. The friendship you had was slowly turning into something more, and it worried Alice more than it worried you alone. However, Alice had her reasons and those reasons sounded more reasonable than your own, even though you weren’t exactly quite sure what your reasons were at first. How you and Alice met was how everyone should meet their mate you say, or in a way that’s still the same but with little difference. You were into Ballet and you’ve been taken lessons since you were a little girl, but you find yourself wanting to drop out because you were getting made fun of at school for that, and although Alice was always there to whisk them away from you, that didn’t stop them from following you home. No one but your family knows that in the middle of junior high, you started hanging with the wrong kind of crowd that eventually led you into becoming part of a violent street gang.
You met those people on school grounds, the parking lot behind the school which was their place to light a cigarette or two before having to go back fo class. What got you into the most trouble was as you were ditching classes along with your gang, you were on parking lot as usual only this time, a teacher had a car parked there and you knew exactly who it belonged to. The ring leader suggested taking it for a joy ride, and although you went along with it, you didn’t have the thrill when it comes to situations like this. Walking up to the white Subaru, you notice the windows were halfway down because of the hot weather and the keys were left in plain view on the dashboard.
Now that you had a getaway car, you all headed out for something to eat and for a little ride before returning to the school. There was a few short hours of relief that spread through you when no one had seen or noticed that the car was missing. Later that evening, an unknown student had reported the crime to the school and the school got police involved. Along with your gang, you were arrested and brought into custody, this was going to court and you were honestly scared like never before. However, you were offered a deal that if you testify against the two other assailants, you would only get a year’s probation. So you agreed to that deal and testified, as a result, there had been some bad blood between you and the gang. After they were released of their sentence, you felt unsafe after seeing them driving slowly up and down your street.
They weren’t able to catch up to you until that fateful night you decide to walk home from a part time shift. It was on the same streets that were deemed to be one of the most dangerous to walk on day or night, it had an alley way, and with a dim flashlight in hand, you made a run for it, careful not to trip and fall. Once you made it to the end, that’s where you’re ambushed by those people and had been beaten so severely that the it was nearly killing you. Because of dancing, you were able to fight them off of you for a short period of time before they got a hold of you once again. That’s the part where Alice comes to your rescue, just not at the time before the beating took place. You were sore, you had been hit on the back of your head with something hard and because of the adrenaline rush, you couldn’t feel the pain until they were gone.
While Alice made sure they were really gone, she comes to your aid as you sit yourself up against the wall. Without thinking, you reached the back of your head with your hand and felt something wet, before realizing it was blood.. your blood. It wasn’t a serious head injury, but you didn’t know because of the shock you were in as you begin to beg Alice with your life as you cling onto her. With every movement, it caused you pain and it hurt Alice to see her best friend, now her huge crush, being hurt. She pulls you on her lap and held you as you cling to her, muttering a plea.
“Please don’t let me die..”
Hearing that, Alice could think of the only option there was to save your life at all if it did need saving.
That was the night she had turned you and ever since than, you had been partners, mates. Alice loved you to pieces and couldn’t dream of looking ahead to the future with you by her side. You were her greatest treasure, she loved you to pieces.
She still does as you do her.
Back to the present, you now worked at the studio in the town of Forks, Washington. You and Alice had come to Forks to find where you might belong and you lived ever since becoming a part of the Cullen family yourself. After Alice introduced you to her family for the first time, you immediately loved them right off the bat. Just like that, they loved you back just the same if not more, they were pleased with how happy you and Alice seem to be together and would never in the slightest consider welcoming you into the family with question, anything you that included both of you had gone without question. One evening, you and Alice were sitting on the roof of the home snuggled up together while watching the sunset. It was quiet until Alice broke the silence, wanting to know what was on your mind, you smile as you begin to fill her in your thoughts.
“I think I want to get back into dancing again. I really miss it, I just didn’t realize how much until recently.”
“I would love that for you, how would you do it?”
“I was thinking about becoming an choreographer, maybe for a Zumba class?”
“That sounds like an excellent idea, (Y/n)! Why don’t look more into it the next few days and see what there is?”
“Sounds good to me!”
“What sparked that thought?”
“It was when I first started to learn the abilities of my new life as a vampire, one of the abilities is much more than what you may think. One of those is I can make anyone dance.”
“That’s right! I can’t believe I actually forgot about that! Just.. no cheating, okay?”
“You got it, hon.”
Upon saying that, you couldn’t help but laugh a little as Alice pulled you closer to her, wrapping you in her loving embrace.
The relationship you have with Alice Cullen is far from perfect as some might think when the two of you are seen together. Alice has always been a little dominant when it comes to certain things, but never was cruel or mean about it in the slightest. She’s careful to make sure that you don’t take anything she might say on the wrong way, it was never her intention to hurt you at all. Even when it comes to a disagreement, you’re both that couple who are willing to look at any kind of problem instead of letting the bickering continue.
You were both the few couples who follows through that method. Alice’s only fear in the world is of losing you, so when you have to make visits to strangers that you are far beyond unfamiliar with, she keeps you close to her, not allowing no more than two small steps as you introduce yourself to the stranger. Alice Cullen is your ultimate protector, and sometimes she can be a little overly protected. The both of you together, not only makes a wonderful partnership, but you have quite the chemistry, it was what you wanted. Neither one of you would want it any other way.
Not for the world.

Trivia
An Army brat that was summarily forced into the Army by his officer father after his teenage years were full of all sorts of delinquency. Poor grades, sleeping around, nearly getting involved with drugs and gangs.
Only served 6 years in the Army. Spent most of it on deployments away from his family and got deeply involved in a drug smuggling ring ran by his fellow MPs. Only dodged a dishonorable discharge because a munition exploded next to his head and his last daughter had just been born. His leadership opting to quietly medically discharge him while they focused on the ringleaders of the operation.
His parents still managed to find out about the 'real' reason he got discharged when Bailey divorced him 3 years after the event. Citing irreconcilable differences, infidelity, and absentee behavior towards his family. They took her in and helped her get back on her feet, eventually disowning and cutting contact with Elias as he continued to let opportunities to improve or get help pass him by.
Did not immediately join Black Dragon. Shortly after his divorce, one of his Army buddies and fellow member of the drug ring reached out to him. Encouraging him to transport goods for the clan along with his legitimate cargo. Was eventually upgraded to actual member when he impulsively rammed his truck through a checkpoint and managed to get away, creating a big enough distraction for a more important delivery to sneak by.
-
Like all the cool kids, I borrowed @bdfightclub's profile outline. It's just really good.
Deleted Elias' original post on my main blog because I made a few tweaks to his design and background.

Angel (?) of Mine. | Part 1
Bakugou Katsuki is a grim reaper tasked with collecting souls from those who have borrowed time. It didn’t matter how long or how briefly they’d lived; if their name appeared on the screen he carried, he had to complete his grim duty. He never hesitated, never entertained second thoughts like, “But they only had a minute to breathe the oxygen of this messed-up world” (Kirishima’s words). To him, the duration of their lives was irrelevant.
One day, while he was about to collect the soul of Midoriya Izuku, who was on the verge of drowning, an unprecedented snag occurred. He wasn’t able to gather the soul. Wait... what? No, this had never happened before.
Determined not to let this mar his perfect record, Bakugou knew he had to delve deep into this anomaly. He resolved to do everything in his power to collect this brat’s soul, because according to all rules known to him, Izuku wasn’t supposed to live.
Izuku's mother had always told him that from the moment he was born, his guardian angel was watching over him, guiding and protecting him from any sort of trouble or danger. Izuku, with the trusting heart of a child, believed her. After all, who wouldn't be swayed by stories like, “You know, when you were about seven months old, I left you sleeping on the bed for just ten seconds, and you started rolling towards the edge. But somehow, just as your head was about to hit the floor, your pillow slid under you, cushioning your fall"?
However, as Izuku grew older, his faith in having a guardian angel began to wane, especially when his middle school classmates started bullying him. Do guardian angels just stop caring when you hit your teenage years? He prayed fervently, so why did the protection seem to stop?
Now, at 21, Izuku is convinced that his guardian angel has abandoned him for good. He is currently fighting for his life, struggling to swim upward, hoping desperately that someone will notice he is being swept away by the wild, relentless waves. The cold is numbing his arms and legs, sapping his strength.
Water floods his nose, and he can no longer breathe; tears form in his eyes. He wants to apologize to his mom. This was supposed to be a fun getaway with friends, but now, it looks like it might end with his death.
ALERT! To collect: Midoriya Izuku. July 15, 20XX. 21. Drowning. Location: Takoba Municipal Beach Park.
That was the communication sent from Above, displayed on the screen. Bakugou Katsuki carefully read the information before clicking the accept button. He sighed. This was the 100th soul he had to collect today. On the dot, Katsuki wore his black beret so mortals wouldn’t see him doing his out-of-this-world job in the flesh.
If you asked him what his favorite part of his job was, he would definitely say the way he travels; he can teleport. That’s incredibly cool, right? He still wonders if he could do this while he was alive. Probably not.
It didn’t take him three seconds to arrive at the location; he felt so smug all of a sudden. As he walked, the lifeless body of... what was his name again?... came into view. When he reached the body lying limp on the shore, Katsuki kneeled down on one knee, took out the tablet from his coat’s breast pocket, and opened the scanner to confirm that this was Midoriya Izuku. July 15, 20XX. 21. Drowning.
When the screen confirmed that this was the soul he needed to collect, Katsuki touched the pulse point on Midoriya Izuku’s wrist.
Then…
Then…
All of a sudden, Midoriya Izuku. July 15, 20XX. 21. Drowning just opened his eyes, staring right back at Katsuki, accompanied by violent coughing that shows how he was yanked back from death.
What the actual fuck?
As Izuku's coughing finally ceased, he was left breathing raggedly, blinking in disbelief. His gaze locked onto Katsuki, who had settled down on the sand.
"Sir?! Oh my God! Was it you who saved me? Thank you! Thank you! How do I repay you?" Izuku's voice quivered with emotion, tears welling up in his eyes.
Katsuki was bewildered, but he mustered all his strength to stand up. "How?! How in the hell can you see me?" Frantically checking the tablet for any trace of the communication from Above.
But he is greeted by a black screen.
THIS IS INSANE…
HOW IN THE…
The communication should have remained there indefinitely; there was no reason for it to simply disappear. No one can delete that. If it was a false alarm, then a new message should be displayed on the screen about this mortal. But there was nothing. It was as if the “alert to collect” message had never existed. This unprecedented situation sent a chill down his spine.
“Fuck, fuck!” Katsuki hisses to himself.
“Um… Sir? Are you okay?” Ah, damn.
Katsuki slipped the tablet back into his breast pocket and turned to face Izuku. "You can actually see me?" he asked.
"Uh? Yes? I can clearly see you, sir. Am I not supposed to?" Izuku responded.
Katsuki ran a hand over his mouth and removed his beret. "Here, can you still see me?"
Izuku nodded.
Yeah, this is so fucking weird. He'll need to talk to the higher-ups about this.
"Ah, fuck it! You're supposed to be dead!" Katsuki shouted in frustration, unable to contain his emotions any longer.
Izuku's eyes widened in shock. "Wait, who are yo—"
Katsuki clicked his tongue, cutting Izuku off abruptly. "Well, I guess there’s something about you; that’s why the Above didn’t end you for good. Yet.”
"What are you?" Izuku pressed, his curiosity piqued.
"You don’t need to know that," Katsuki replied tersely, his tone leaving no room for argument. Whatever secrets he held, they were not meant for mortal ears.
Izuku's hopeful gaze bore into Katsuki as he stood up, his voice tinged with desperation. "I am not an idiot. Are you my guardian angel or something?" he asked, searching for answers.
Katsuki's incredulous expression spoke volumes. "Huh? The fuck? First off, I'm dressed in black from head to toe. Second, I'm far from being a guardian angel, asshat. Third, you're an idiot," he retorted, his frustration evident.
"But you mentioned something about the Above, and I'm alive; when you touched me, I came back to life, right? You are my guardian angel then!" Izuku gushed, his hope overriding his better judgment.
Exasperation washed over Katsuki as he turned away from Izuku, brushing off the sand clinging to his pants. He knew he needed to consult with Aizawa about this situation, desperate for answers to the mysteries surrounding Izuku's survival.
"I gotta go; I need to find out why you didn't die. Because you're supposed to die," Katsuki declared, his gaze lingering on Izuku for a moment before turning away. "And please, don’t ever blabber about having seen me. Also, stay away from things that might threaten your life."
With those words, Katsuki vanished, leaving Izuku standing alone on the beach, his heart pounding in his chest.
"Sir, wait!" Izuku shouted after him, his voice filled with urgency. But it was too late; Katsuki was already gone.
Bursting into Aizawa's office, Katsuki's frustration was palpable, "Hey old man, what the fuck just happened?" he spat, his tone sharp with urgency.
Aizawa, unfazed by Katsuki's outburst, continued to rifle through some papers, his expression betraying little emotion. "Bakugou, I don’t know either," he replied, his voice calm and measured. "I’m checking his records; none of them indicate he was supposed to die today. I told the higher-ups that I also saw the alert to collect. They’re investigating it now."
Katsuki strode over to one of the chairs facing Aizawa’s large marble table, his movements tense with uncertainty. As he settled into the seat, his voice came out in a murmur, laden with concern. “Is this going to count against me?” he asked, his eyes fixed on Aizawa.
Aizawa paused, considering Katsuki's question before responding in his usual matter-of-fact tone. “No, I don’t think so," he reassured him. "You were just following the orders given to you. You didn’t cause the snag.”
But Katsuki wasn't satisfied with the reassurance. His brow furrowed with worry as he voiced his deeper fears. "But what if I did? Aizawa, I’ve been working my ass off to maintain my record so I can finally…” His voice trailed off, the weight of his words hanging heavily in the air.
Grim reapers are expected to follow orders without fail. Those with excellent records are rewarded by the Above, and Katsuki is desperate to earn his reward: to finally learn the reason why, how, and when he died. Why did he become a grim reaper?

rio + THE COVEN.
NOVEMBER, 1983. A girl takes a long walk to clear her head before heading home. A girl makes a running leap to escape whatever is hounding her. A girl waits in her car for a hookup that will never come to pass.
This is what brings the lives of Rio, Jane, and Sophie together in the midst of a graveyard. Three girls from wildly different backgrounds and with wildly different temperaments, traumabonding is a hell of a drug. They go from strangers to fairweather allies to fire forged friends, though not without roadbumps.
Dubbed 'The Coven' by locals based on the inclusion of the town goth, they try to solve mysteries around H*wkins with their limited/non main character connections and intuition. Rio might be the brains, but Sophie is the negotiator, and Jane is not afraid to be the muscle.
Tumblr media
SOPHIA GLORIA 'SOPHIE' MORGAN / 1968.
Rich girl with a reputation to her name. Rough home life in spite of privilege made her exceptionally tough and standoffish towards her peers, though with a still 'weak' center of sentiment and goodwill. The 'good time girl' who acts out for both peer approval and attention from adults that she lacks at home.
Father is a wealthy businessman and a tyrannical patriarch to his children, mother is an alleged stay at home mom and real life no-longer-functional alcoholic. Sophie is the middle child of five and the oldest child still at home, often taking care of her younger brother and sister. Lives relative to the Harringt0ns and Cunninghams.
The getaway driver, the charisma build, the one the girls want on hand when they need to bullshit. Excels at it, in fact. Smart but much more socially adept than the 'brilliant but rizzless' Rio so she takes the 'face' role of the Coven without complaint.
Wants out of H*wkins bad. Pursues music as her future career and is hoping to get an art school scholarship to New York after graduation and never look back.
Cosmopolitan middle child vs outsider only child means she and Jane are designated enemies who only get along for the sake of 'The Kid.' Elder Sister Energy means she would fight the entire HHS student body including the sports teams if it means keeping Rio safe.
Retooled from a past historical oc fora 80s fandom setting :3
Tumblr media
JANET MARIE 'JANE' SMITH / 1968.
Might have been a middle class, middle of the road small town American girl, down to a literal Plain Jane kind of name. But she was drawn in by New Wave and Goth Rock, and decided instead to play life on hard mode as H*wkin's First Goth. Does not give a fuck, will hurt feelings, but bold and maturing fast.
Father is a military vet turned cop under Hop, mom runs the local salon. Both are transplants to H*wkins, her mom having a noticeable Joisey accent. An only child for better and worse. Her vivacious mom's entire world, but has a little too much in common with her stoic father as a person and too wide a gulf in beliefs to see eye to eye at this stage. Family knows the By*rs, but much more cringe: Jane has an all-consuming budding sexuality crisis crush on Eddie.
The lockpick, the one who throws the first punch, the shield between the smaller Sophie and Rio and the big bad world. Slowly builds on this foundation moving forward from S1 and is the willing muscle to the more specialized skills of her new friends.
Wants out of H*wkins just as bad as Sophie and Rio. Doesn't have much of an exit strategy, though. Is good at sewing and makeup, but doesn't see how that translates to 'getting the fuck out of Indiana.'
Can acknowledge that Sophie is rebelling against her culture and standards in a similar but distinct way from herself, but will still roast the rich girl within an inch of her life. Is incredibly awkward but tender with Rio, who she can't help but like despite being too concerned about performance and what other people think.
Will one day be lucky enough to obtain an FC <3 So far all I have is 'goth girl' and 'creepy blue eyes.'
Tumblr media
MAUREEN ELIZABETH 'RIO' MUNS0N. / 1968.
The goworl :) White trash trailer skank to much of the world, but a precious Chihuahua-coded teen and straight-A student to those who get to know her.
Dad in jail, mom dead, uncle is legal guardian and only dad she'd care to acknowledge as such, has been trying to look out for her older brother ever since their dad started skipping out on them as kids. Doesn't really have many ties beyond that, being guilty by family association on the measure of 'nicer' folks in town and struggling to join social dynamics due to anxiety.
The brains! She will whip up war crimes fresh from the lab to hit the Upside D0wn where it hurts or logic out meanings and passwords based on patterns or obscure references.
Say it with me: Wants out of H*wkins. Plans to head South with her brother first, visit their mom's hometown in Memphis, but then wants to go to a good school, be someone. Be a clean, upright, moral person with opportunity and a respectable academic job...
Just happy to be included in Sophie and Jane's lives tbh. She's never had friends before. Kids laugh at her and have since she was 5, she'd literally walk into Hell for either of them as willingly as she would for her brother. Sophie and Jane are trying to convince her that while her loyalty is noble it shouldn't be at potential personal risk --
Genuinely just here for a laugh <3

Thanks to the emirate’s climate-controlled buildings, the city rarely sees severe weather. Thus, you can visit in the winter and spring, and fall with no fear of getting rained on or overheated. This is a big difference from other popular travel destinations, such as Florida, which often sees severe weather during the winter and spring. The best part? Despite the fact that Dubai rarely sees extreme weather, the city is still one of the most beautiful places on earth. This means that you don’t have to worry about being disappointed if you visit Dubai during less-than-ideal weather conditions.

A/N: here’s Part 2/4💘 I told y’all I’m gonna finish this and I will. this short series is NSFW. Enjoy 😭❤️
✨part 1 here✨ | ✨parts 3 & 4 on ao3 only✨
Some would say this was entirely unnecessary, perhaps even a little too casual for work. But you know when you have one of those really good friends you’d do anything for? The kind you’d spend money on without a second thought? That’s how you felt about Suguru. You could call him whenever you wanted and he’d come fix up your car for you, help you lift things, or just lend you his ear. He was an extremely good listener, and he was always there for you. It was hard to believe such a sweet guy could be friends with Satoru. It was also hard to believe how you could ever favor Satoru more.
You were incredibly excited to give Suguru all the things you had gotten him over the weekend. Then, like a raining brick shower, did you remember that he came to your work place, with Satoru, and you anonymously gave him a lap dance. And now, you have to talk to both of them like you weren’t shaking your ass in their faces the night before. Tough.
You questioned all your life decisions as you anxiously dialed Shoko. You told her it was urgent and that you needed help with the gift bags, as well as time for girl talk and morning coffee before work.
When she arrived you graciously hugged her, whining and crying her name as you reached over the arm rest.
“You didn’t tell anyone where I worked at, right?” You say, tear stricken and panicked as you peer at her through wet eyes. She shot you an almost betrayed look. When did you start thinking she could be that menacing?
“No- are you crying? Jesus, what’s gotten into you?” She pushed you away, staring worriedly with baggy under eyes.
“Suguru and Satoru showed up to my other job last night.” You shrieked, leaning against the wheel of your car and burrowing your head in your arms.
“I did have a blindfold on but I don’t know if they knew it was me.” You say, muffling your embarrassment.
Shoko could’ve laughed a bit, picking up her iced coffee.
“You always did talk about giving Satoru the dance of his life to put his pitiful attitude in check.” She said, unpackaging the straw and stabbing the lid.
“Shoko!”
“What? Your words not mine.” She said smugly.
“I mean that’s how I felt but then he actually showed up! And then he gave my co worker his number to give to me! He definitely knows it’s me!”
“Why would he give it to you again on a piece of paper if he knew it was you?” Shoko quizzed.
“To fuck with me, obviously.” You mutter, sinking into the drivers seat. “That’s Satoru shit.”
She swished her coffee around, further mixing her creamer. “That does sound like Satoru behavior.”
“Shoko!” You whined again. “How the heck am I supposed to face him? Not to mention, I got Suguru all this stuff and I was so excited to give it to him. You think he knows too? And what if he didn’t know but Satoru told him? Ugh- my head hurts.” You say, taking up your coffee and plunging the lid with your own straw.
“How good was your blindfold?” She raises a brow at you.
“I looked like Harley Quinn’s knock off stripper sister.” Shoko let a laugh, earning a grunt from you.
“Okay okay, so they probably don’t know. But I would just suck it up and act like you don’t know anything either. Like an ‘I know that you know that I know’ kinda situation? But you’re not gonna do anything about it- kinda thing.”
“And you could always switch jobs if you’re that mortified. Poor Suguru, and his gifts though. It seems like Satoru ruins everything for him.” She sighed.
Shoko had a way of pretending like things weren’t as bad as they were, and though sometimes it bothered you, talking to her helped you relax.
“I forgot to mention I gave Suguru a dance.” You sink more into your chair, covering your face.
“Oh then they definitely know.” She teased.
“Shoko!!!” You whined again.
“I’m kidding! There’s no guarantee that they know or don’t know.” Shoko said, placing her coffee down. “I would fake it until you can’t.”
You wanted to crawl in a hole. Couldn’t you just live a peaceful life?
“I have to move away and change my name, it’s the only way.” You cried.
“Let me help you get the bags,” Shoko said, stepping out the car and ignoring you entirely.
“I was only messing with you, they don’t know a thing. I overheard the two of them inside talking about how nice the place was. They didn’t mention anything in particular while I was clocking in.”
You panicked anyway. Why would they?
“Now up and out, you can’t hide in your car forever.”
You sluggishly climbed out the vehicle and opened your trunk.
“If it makes you feel better I’ll ask them about it for you.” Shoko helped you gather Suguru’s gifts and you went inside.
Just relax, (Name). Be cool, be cool.
You were dazed, deep in thought as you and Shoko walked through the halls. You never regretted giving anyone a lap dance during your entire dancing career. You honestly don’t know what came over you. All you wanted was to make Satoru’s mouth water. It’s not like you didn’t already have his attention with his constant flirting at work but still, why did you have to be so gutsy?
You set the gifts down on your desk, before slumping into your office chair.
“Good morning!” You heard the white haired devil chirp through the door way, knocking ever so lightly on the already opened door. Suguru trailed in quietly behind him, greeting you and Shoko.
“Morning!” Suguru hummed, taking a delicate sip from his coffee.
You shyly waved, before Shoko spoke. “How was your night out?”
Breaking the ice for us all Shoko, I thank the heavens and earth for your existence.
“It was great! Wish you guys could’ve been there. Fanciest club I’ve ever been to, like ever.” Satoru spoke, shoving his hands in his pocket.
“It was cool. I still would’ve rather went to dinner with everyone.” Suguru shrugged, setting his coffee on his desk. You watched Satoru approach your table, quickly changing the subject of conversation.
“What’s all this?” He quizzed, looking down at your sheepish body in your chair. Did they really not know? Or were they possibly pretending not to?
“T-These are gifts, for Suguru,” you stand, feeling a bit more confident. The dark haired male perked up at you, before walking towards your desk.
“I told you not to get me anything,” he sighed. You could see the soft smile edging on his lips as he looked down at you. “And then you spoil me like this? People are gonna think we’re dating, you know?”
You swore you heard Satoru scoff.
“Hush, I told you it’s not a big deal. Besides, you’re always helping me out without asking. You deserve to be spoiled!” You say firmly, hands on your hips. He blushed a bit, realizing he wouldn’t be able to argue with you if he tried.
“You never spoil me this much on my birthday,” Satoru pouted, quickly inserting himself between the two of you, both verbally and physically.
“You’ve got to make your mark on people Satoru,” Shoko said, taking a seat behind her desk.
“I spoil all my friends as needed.” You say, crossing your arms proudly. “If you were a little nicer, maybe I wouldn’t think twice about buying you a bunch of nice things. Besides, your mistresses spoil you plenty.”
“Mistresses? What mistresses? (Name) it hurts my feelings when you talk like that.” Satoru put a hand on his chest, pretending to be offended.
“You have feelings?” Everyone but Satoru said this in unison, resulting the room to fill with heavy laughter.
“Oooo so funny.” He said sarcastically, keeping the straightest face.
“If you’re good to me for the rest of the year I’ll get you something nice.” You say, soothing the wound you all gave him.
“But it’s not your birthday right now, is it?” You say, flipping your hair and shifting behind Suguru. You gave him a little push.
“Go head, open them!” You say excitedly. Suguru lets out a soft laugh, before digging into his bounty.
After watching him open his gifts while Satoru graciously recorded the entire moment for his Instagram, the white haired fiend sparked up an idea.
“So, since Suguru kept saying he wanted to do something with everyone I thought we could take a getaway trip this weekend to my folk’s place in the country side.”
“Just us 4?” Shoko asked. “And are you sure we won’t be bothering your parents?”
“Oh no, this is their vacation house. They only go on the holidays. Also, Nanami is definitely coming!” Satoru cooed.
“That sounds like so much fun!” Shoko swooned.
“I haven’t seen Nanami in so long. This should be exciting.” You clasp your hands together delightedly.
“Why do I get the feeling you didn’t actually ask Nanami if he wanted to come yet...” Geto squinted at Satoru, who smiled childishly.
“Nanami loves me. He is coming by default.” He says proudly. “Speaking of, I have to go meet with him tomorrow to take care of some business. So unfortunately, I won’t be able to train with Megumi. (Name) do you think you could pick him up from school for me tomorrow?”
“The middle schooler you’ve been teaching? Why do I have to do it?” You ask, swaying your hips as you look at him.
“Because~” he sung.
“Because...?”
“He’s been talking about meeting you!” He gleamed.
“Has he really? Are you talking about me behind my back or something? How does the kid even know who I am?”
“Of course! I’ve told him plenty stories about the all powerful (Name)! The mightiest jujutsu sorceress to date.” He was clearly just trying to flatter you.
“Fine, I’ll pick up the kid.” You roll your eyes.
“Yay~” He says, casually hugging you. He always did that, not that you actually minded. And you knew he knew it got to you every time, hearing him smirk as you push him off. You force back a blush as Suguru speaks.
“That didn’t take much convincing,” he smirks with him a bit.
“I just wanted him to stop talking.” You say, grabbing your purse. You could hear Shoko attempting to stifle a laugh behind you.
“Anyways, I’ll see you guys later. I have a class to teach.”  You waved goodbye, on your way to cater to the class of second years you were currently responsible for.
You were finally able to relax, feeling like your dancer identity was safe. Now, all you have to do is forget the lap dance and pray to whatever God there is that neither of them would come back. You proceeded to take out your phone and text your club manager, asking for the weekend off. You were lucky she was so lenient.
The work day lasted longer than you’d liked to, and you hadn’t stayed behind to chat with anyone. Shoko knew you were always keen on going home to shower and relax a bit before your shift at the club.
You were in the club locker room, just barely after 10pm. You wanted to ask Tasty for juicy details on Suguru. You were eager to know if he had texted her or had talked of coming back. Fortunately for you at the same time, she was off today. To you, this decreased the likelihood of seeing the dark haired male and his devilish best friend. That is, if he truly liked her enough to come back.
You were wearing a more revealing set this evening- a suede, pink two piece. You made sure your heel straps were tight enough around your ankles before walking out onto the floor to do your first 10 minute set of the evening. You spun on the pole, climbing gracefully. The higher you went, the more dollars being thrown. You slid down the pole, connecting your body to the floor with a split. You crawled lionlike towards the edge the stage, greeting some of your regulars who sat towards the front. Flipping your body, you get up smoothly ending the routine and collecting your bounty.
As you walked down the stage and made your way towards the bar, you could see the silhouette of a tall, white haired male, speaking to the bartender. His body was turned away from you, and he was ordering a drink as if he just got there.
You knew it was him. You could recognize his cocky stance just about anywhere. You dropped to the floor, crawling away and earning stares from plenty of your coworkers and customers alike. Oh I’m definitely quitting, you thought.
You managed to crawl back towards the locker room.
“This cannot become a routine,” you clutched your chest. It felt like you were having another mini heart attack like the night before. Did he just decide this was his new favorite spot? You could’ve sworn you were in the clear. And two days in a row?
He knows, he has to. Should you confront him? Twice was too many times. You almost can picture his smug face out there right now. You’re a bit angry that he had the nerve to come back again, but a portion of you, the little devil inside you- wanted him to watch you dance again.
Then you remembered Shoko’s words. Fake it until you can’t anymore.
If he wanted to play, then you’d give him exactly what he wanted. You opened your locker, fiddling around through your costumes and head coverings. You took hold of the a pink masquerade mask you had left over from a theme night at the club a few weeks ago.
“This should do.” You say, sliding on the seductive looking mask and fixing your hair in the the mirror.  You struck a pose, before flipping your hair in satisfaction and strutting out of the room. You walked past a few regulars, and made yourself comfortable by the bar area. You decided you’d dance around everyone but him.
Satoru took note of your scent first, realizing your feminine force was behind him. He sipped his drink before spinning in his barstool to look at you dancing amongst the other customers. He adjusted his sunglasses, taking in the sight of you.
The set you wore was more revealing than the one from yesterday. He felt like he truly missed out the night before as he watched you drag your hand down the chest of a stranger, feeling a bit envious. His length felt tight in his jeans yet again. But he was a smooth guy, he knew exactly how to make you come to him.
You noticed him get up from the bar, walking away from where you danced. You couldn’t help but get distracted and anxious. You didn’t want Satoru anywhere you couldn’t see him. You almost jumped when your club’s bouncer, Ravi, approached you in the middle of your mini lap dance.
“Candy, the tall guy,” he tried not to point, “the white haired one with dark glasses wants a private dance.” Satoru approached the bouncer earlier when he first came in, pre-requesting a dance from you and tipping him a hefty amount for it. Though he’d explained he’d be fine if you declined it, he truly just wanted to see just how far he could get.
You stared at the thick wad of cash that stuck out of the pocket of Ravi’s dress shirt. You knew Satoru had the guts to ask you directly, but it was more so that he was that much of an asshole, who simply wanted you to approach him on your own.
Ravi then pointed loosely with his chin at Satoru, who had been sitting on the sofa on the other side of the club now.
You nodded, assuring Ravi you weren’t going to keep him waiting. You walked slowly towards him, he barely made eye contact with you.
Fake it until you can’t.
“Hey handsome,” you lean over the railing, displaying your breasts right beside him. He perked up a bit, though he briefly watched you walk towards him beforehand. He sparks a grin, and you can see blue orbs peering ever so slightly over the edges of his glasses.
“Hey,” he confidently sits back, not even shy about looking at your breasts.
“Have you been here before?” A classic conversation starter, but were you were  attempting to poke fun at the awkward situation.
“Ahh, yes! Ms. Number One, from the private dancer line up. I was here yesterday with my friend.” He took a sip from his glass. “But I don’t expect you to remember. You’re a very busy, and talented woman.”
You bite back a blush, “Thank you.”
“A little birdie told me you wanted a private dance,” you maneuvered around the railing but still leaned against it.
“Oh yeah,” he preferred not to waste time. He pulled a thick and wrapped stack of cash from his shirt and placed it on the table in front of you. You tried your best to keep your eyes from widening. The currency strap read $5000.
“A private dance in the private booth costs a hundred.” You felt inclined to remind him as the both the stack and him stared back at you. “And if you wanted the highest package it’s $500 with champagne and refreshments included for the hour, typically for a group.”
“It says that on your website,” he nods, clearly already knowing the information. You almost squint at him before he speaks again.
“Also, I figured I’d pay you enough to go home for the night if you felt like it.” He shrugged. The Gojo family clearly had it well for him to just toss five thousand dollars at a stranger. You shivered when you remembered counting your earnings from the night before, two thirds of the pile being from Satoru.
A part of you felt like ripping your mask off and asking him to go home. Your awkward silence made him stifle a laugh.
“Candy, baby girl, is somethin’ wrong?”
You knew he knew you were blushing, even with your mask. But you promised yourself one thing after leaving the locker room- you would bring him to his knees. And if  he wanted to play, you’d be sure to win.
“Alright hot stuff, come with me.” You used a finger to slide the stack towards you before picking it up.
He grinned at you before you brought him to one of the private rooms. Everything was preset up considering Ravi saw you warming him up prior.
Satoru made himself comfortable in the soft velvet cushions and red lighting. You sat beside him, taking hold of one of the champagne bottles from the ice bucket. You popped it open, causing some of the foam to splatter onto your breasts and stomach.
“Whoops,” you said playfully. You always liked to tease with the exclusive dances. He bites his lip while he watches you fill both of your glasses, taking up one soon after.
“Do you guys have candy here?”
“Only mints by the bar. Did you want something sweet?” That’s so like him, you thought.
“Nah, mints don’t count.” He shook his head. “Chocolate anything?”
“We have chocolate-covered strawberries,” you suggest.
“That’ll do,” he clutches one of the heart shaped pillows, flashing smile.
You rung the bell on the wall, speaking into the microphone beside it to make the request before plopping beside him.
“You’ve got me for the hour,” you leant towards him, crossing your legs. “So let’s make it count.”
“I was hoping we could talk for a bit first,” he said, swishing the liquid in his glass. You almost panicked, but quickly spoke up.
“Sure, whatever you want.” You lean your arm on edge of the couch. It wasn’t uncommon for guys to request dances from you just for you to listen to their qualms for the hour. Although, you never pictured Satoru as the type to do so. Actually scratch that— you settled into the sofa, preparing to hear him ramble on about himself. You made sure to keep eye contact with him, making it known you were indeed listening.
“I got a thing for this girl— she’s amazing. She hates me though. Granted, I’ve been an asshole since high school. I think she’s into my best friend, although he promises me it’s nothing like that.”
“Have you tried flirting with her?” Satoru was infamous for being a casual, serial dater. You wondered who she could be. Just because you were in his inner circle didn’t necessarily mean this girl was you or anyone you might’ve known. But you couldn’t help but put yourself into perspective anyway.
“Yeah, but she’s pretty mean though.” He grinned, “To me.”
“And that makes you happy?” You questioned.
“I mean, obviously it doesn’t.” He clarified, realizing just how crazy he looked in that moment. “Oddly enough, I’d like to think she likes me back a bit.”
“Sounds kiddish right?” He chuckles. “Like is she a middle schooler or something? She’s been playing hard to get for a while now.”
You twitch your eye a bit, was he really that full of himself?
“She probably doesn’t like you. You shouldn’t try to read between the lines. Have you ever asked her directly if she does?” You reason, trying to humble him a bit.
“Nah, I guess I’m just afraid to ask her the right way.” He cocked his head back, earning a confused look from you. You never knew Satoru could be afraid of anything. He was seemingly a fearless person and he was the most powerful jujutsu sorcerer to date.
“Could you elaborate?” You poked.
“She’s the only woman whose ever rejected me. Can you believe that?”
You’re partially amused, these truly were the thoughts in his head— you were sure of it.
“What I mean mostly is that I think she’s an idiot,” he chuckled. You almost broke into laughter.
“For rejecting you?”
“No, no, no— well, maybe. I think she’s incredibly dense. I’ve known her for like 10 years. That or she just tunes out my advances.” He scoffs.
“Everyone else knows it’s obvious I still like her. I think the reason why I’m never direct with my feelings, or the reason I boil it down to casual flirting is because I’m scared of her rejecting me again.”
“The first time was when we were both seniors in high school. She told me to try again after I learned some ‘compassion’. It feels like she’s somewhat interested in me. And I hardly think I need to learn anything— but it’s been years since she said that.” He adds.
He hadn’t looked at you the entire time, sort of ogling at his drink before setting it down.
He was unraveling in front of you, as a complete stranger.
“You get this a lot— the sappy talks, right?”
You nodded, “It’s no big deal.”
“I promise I’m not like this all the time.”
A clearer look inside Satoru’s mind was interesting, to say the least. You don’t think he acted this way on purpose. Perhaps, nothing has pushed him into such a corner for him to begin actively taking people’s feelings into account the way the average person might.
He huffed. “What would you do?”
You pondered for a bit, what would you do? You weren’t sure who the mystery woman he described was but you felt a little jealous, trying to wrap your head around the idea of him being this smitten over someone. He had given you a taste of himself, something he dared not to show you when you weren’t wearing the mask.
“Be direct next time you approach her. Stop playing around so much and tell her how you really feel. Nothing too grand, and try your best to understand her if she rejects you again. You’re a handsome guy, so it won’t be the end of the world if she does.” You explain.
“I don’t mean to sound insensitive by saying that last part either.” You added. Though his head was cocked back, his gaze shifted towards you. He hardly looked worried or sad at all. He shot you a toothy smirk, making you squirm in your seat a bit.
“I know that,” he finally says. There he was again, being his typical arrogant self. “If it doesn’t work out, you’ll see me back here again.”
Dear God, Satoru becoming one of your regulars? You didn’t know if you could handle that. You could just work in a different club. Lord, let this mystery woman scoop him up, and make your life easier.
The thought of him coming regularly just to see you made you happy sort of, but you found yourself getting jealous for the days you wouldn’t work. Suddenly, you didn’t want anyone else dancing for him. It had to be you.
“Woah, you okay?” He tilted his head towards you. You held your cheeks in your hand. If you were a kettle, you’d physically be steaming.
“You’ve got a cute side, Ms. Candy. That’s precious.” He leant forward, glasses sliding down his nose a bit. No matter how long you’ve known him, he would still give you butterflies just like when you were younger.
The server entered the room, placing the strawberries that he ordered onto the table. You watched him take off his shades and hang them on his shirt.
“Fuck yes,” he grinned, picking up one of the chocolate covered fruits. You watched him take a bite, tugging on your own bottom lip. He slid his tongue between two fingers, blue orbs just barely glinting at you. He hummed in delight as you awed at him. Really, everything about him was perfect aside from his flawed personality. You would’ve been dating him already if you felt he’d be a good boyfriend. He was obviously and unfairly attractive. You were positive the sex would be good too, considering you heard more than satisfactory things. He was tall, and wealthy, and strong and talented. He was just a shitty person sometimes.
Somehow you liked him all this time, he’s been the only man whose kept your interest. That’s partially because he was persistent, in the most attractive and appealing way. But you’re adults now, maybe you should stop playing around so much.
Did you even have time to change your mind with this mystery girl in the way?
“I think I’m ready for my dance now,” he said smugly, breaking you out of your thoughts.
“Of course baby. Just sit back and relax.” You had to remind yourself, you’re Candy right now, and not (Name).
He sunk back into the sofa, spreading his legs as you got up and positioned yourself in front of him. He spreads his long arms on the head of the sofa, slight smile leaking at the corners of his lips.
You swayed your body, giving him a show. It was finally happening. You were giving him the very thing you fantasized about since you started dancing. You climbed onto his lap, grinding against him as the music played in tandem with your hips. He seemed elated, and not even remotely ashamed of the growing bulge in his jeans. You were feeling antsy, watching him with his arms sprawled out like that.
“I don’t normally let people touch me during my dances, but you can if you want.” You weren’t supposed to sound so shy when you said it.
“You’re being extremely generous, I’ll tip you again, for sure baby.”
You felt his large, hot hands connect with your back, running down the smooth skin. You smiled smugly, looking down at him. You grinded against him some more, feeling his bulge confidently poke against your sex.
All you ever wanted was for him to touch you like this. You were mad at yourself for holding out this long— why did his hands feel so good against your bare skin?
Possibly just because you liked him, and that amplified the experience.
Lost in the moment, you felt your hands run through the smooth fade of his undercut while you humped his lap. The amount of stimulation this gave the both of you was astounding. You heard a soft groan leave his lips, rising color out of your cheeks.
You brought a finger to the string of your outfits top, pulling it undone and gracing him with the sight of your breasts as you tossed the fabric on the sofa. He was sort of surprised, but his facial expression was nothing short of cocky. It wasn’t the first time a stranger stripped top-less for him, and coincidentally, making panties drop was his hobby.
“Oh~?”
His voice was terrifically deep, you never knew he could drop an octave this low. You’d usually be talking up a storm, doting on your customers with compliments and saying appropriately reassuring things. The entire experience was weird, having your childhood crush grope you and nuzzle his face into your breasts hadn’t been on your to do list for the evening.
He hummed against the skin in the center of your chest, sending vibrations up your spine.
“I know I’m pushing it, considering this is nothing but a service agreement, but I’d be happy to make you feel good— if you want me to, that is.”
You looked down at him, knowing the mask you wore couldn’t save you from him noticing the blushing look on your face.
“Just what do you take me for?” You’re being playful about it, wrapping your arms around his neck so he knows you’re not offended.
“A hard working woman. I envy the man who gets to spoil you.”
You couldn’t think of a response, and you assumed he caught on due to the way your lips parted and no sound emerged.
“Ohh-hoh??? There isn’t one, is there?”
He stole the show from you, and now you’re sitting in his lap like some sort of blushing sheep.
“That makes me feel sort of special,” he purred, taking one of your nipples into his mouth. You let out a dainty moan, grinding harder against him. You were no longer grinding along with the music, just finding a rhythm that would satisfy the both of you. He grunted at your sudden change in pace, his searing hot breath against your skin.
“Is that a yes?” He asked, nipple between his teeth.
“What about the girl you like?” You found yourself regretting even saying that, considering you were supposed to be a neutral party.
“You jealous?”
You suck in your bottom lip, barely forming a pout. He truly was an asshole to everyone. It didn’t even matter if someone was on top of him. Before you’re able to say anything, he speaks again.
“Don’t be.” He pressed a sweet kiss to the center of your chest, heightening the crimson hues on your cheeks. His soft lips unfortunately tore from your body when his phone rang. He slipped the thing from his jacket pocket, answering the call.
“Alright, I’ll be there in 30.” He said finally after following subsequent huffs. He ended the call, looking back up at you with apologetic eyes.
“I’ve gotta cut this short,” he was pained to say it. He was having too much fun.
“That’s alright.” You say, sliding your leg off him and finding your top.
He stood, straightening his clothes whilst muttering what you barely made out as ‘fuckin’ Nanami’ through his teeth. You almost laughed, as you tied your top back on.
“Candy, baby, I’m sorry. Guess I’ll have to come back again.” He looked too happy to say it.
“Before your confession?” You say smugly. “Or after?”
“No no, I’m a man of my word. I’ll come back only under those conditions I mentioned.” He says.
“I wish you the best of luck.” You say, crossing your legs.
“You’re rooting for me? You really don’t wanna see me again.” He chuckled as he towered over you, his blue gaze now covered by his glasses again.
“I’m always rooting for my customers.” You smile slyly.
His grin softened, and you wish you knew why he was looking at you like that.
“See you around, Ms. Candy.”
He waved goodbye as he exited the room, finally allowing you a some relief. Hopefully this chick doesn’t reject him, you thought.
Even though he probably wouldn’t come back, you thought about quitting and working elsewhere anyway. You tore off your mask, pushing your hair back out of your face.
You really didn’t want to have to wear one of these again.

Prompt: “I want to count every one of your freckles with my lips.”
Pairing: Jin x female reader
Genre: smut
Word count: 1.8k
Warnings: heated make out, breast play, oral (female receiving) Vaginal fingering.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The heat is almost unbearable this July afternoon, the sun coming down on you in such a way that has your hairline dripping with sweat. You can no longer tell now though, not when your body is plunged under water in this cool, cool pool water.
Jin invited everyone to his beach house for a weekend getaway, your close friends piled in one little house on the shore. It’s exactly what you need, if you are being honest. Your boyfriend—well, ex-boyfriend—just dumped you, you’re behind on rent and you just got kicked off a major project at work. You need a break, you deserve a break.
The sun’s rays come down in blinding waves and you do your best to protect yourself and your skin. But it is almost impossible and unavoidable—your freckles. Your friends make fun of you lovingly but you still find yourself insecure. The one who makes fun of you most though? Jin.
“Oh man.” He leans down at the edge of the pool, getting a look at your wet face. “I think I see a new one.” He pulls out an imaginary notebook, “Number 324…” he pretends to write in, then he’s looking at you with a goofy smile.
“Ha-ha.” You roll your eyes, pushing yourself up and out of the pool. “Good one, Jin. Really.”
“I thought so.” He shrugs before he is stepping back to give you some space. “You usually respond a little more lively though.” Jin crosses his arms out in front of him. “Everything okay y/n?”
“I never respond lively.” You deadpan, you walk towards a chair and grab the towel and wrap it around your body. You feel yourself grow irritated.
“Hmm.” Jin pretends to think, “No, something is off.” He then wipes his goofy grin off his face and looks at you softly. “Is everything—”
“You know what?!” you throw your hands up, “No! Everything is not okay.” You huff out, walking closer to him. You catch the attention of Hobi and Yoongi who are sitting nearby but they don’t butt in.
“Work sucks, I am hoping I don’t get kicked out of my apartment and Eun broke up with me over text and you!” You place your hands on your hips. “You keep making fun of my stupid ass freckles!” You stare up at Jin with hard eyes and you see something flash across his.
“Eun broke up with you?” He mumbles, “Over text?” “That’s all you are taking from that?” You roll your eyes again, “Ridiculous—”
“And your freckles aren’t stupid…” Jin’s eyes slide to the side as he straightens himself.
“Yeah, right. I’m going inside.” You flip your hair behind your shoulder and spin on your heels to head inside the beach house.
Hobi and Yoongi give Jin a look before Jin is throwing up his hands in surrender.
“What?” He whines.
“Instead of acting like a middle school boy, being mean to his crush, you could just—” Hobi gets cut off with just a look from Jin.
“Look, I’m working on it.” Jin complains, “Fuck’s sake.” He makes his way inside the house, trying to follow you. But you aren’t in the living room or the kitchen or your bedroom. So you must be in the main bathroom. Jin walks up to the door and notices it’s cracked open, he can see you through the crack and watches as you stare at yourself in the mirror.
You look frustrated. You drop the towel to the floor and stand here, observing your body in the reflection. Your purple bikini wet and sticking to your skin, your hair wild and messy, your freckles on full display. They aren’t even that noticeable, you think, but they are there.
Your eyes fill with sadness as you stare at yourself and Jin wonders what’s going through your mind. You admitted you are having a hard time but he doesn’t know what he can do to make you feel better. He didn’t mean to make you more insecure, he loves your freckled skin. He just…ugh.
Jin creaks open the door, startling you. He walks inside and shuts the door before he is leaning against the wall, just eying you. You start to feel woozy underneath his gaze, Jin always has this switch. Where he is lighthearted and goofy but then he can turn into this warm, slightly intimidating person who you want to…no, you shouldn’t think that.
“Your freckles…” He whispers, “I really do like them.” Jin admits softly, his arms crossed against his chest.
“Jin—”
“I want to count every one of your freckles with my lips.” he leans away from the wall and walks closer to you. You stare up at him with slightly shocked eyes.
“What do you mean?” You stutter out and he grins at you.
“Isn’t it self-explanatory?” Jin steps even closer now, you feel yourself getting backed into the bathroom counter.
“You want to…touch my skin…with your lips?” You mumble, not entirely sure what Jin is getting at.
“I want to kiss your freckles.” He places his hands on either side of you on the counter. “Kiss your skin.” He leans closer into your space.
“Are you okay with that?” he asks, his breaths hitting your nose.
You gulp, trying to swallow down his words. Jin is Jin. He’s your friend, he’s…well, he’s Jin. You would be stupid to deny how incredibly handsome he is and how he makes you feel. But Eun only just broke up with you…but maybe you need to get over him.
“Where would you kiss first?” you ask quietly. “There’s options.”
“Your nose.” He says quickly, like he didn’t even need time to think, like maybe he already thought about it. “You also have a little mole on the corner of your lips, I was thinking maybe there too.”
“Jin…” you call out for him breathlessly, the idea of him kissing you beginning to shake up your world.
“Yes?”
“You’d be surprised where I have little freckles at…” You raise a brow at him and smirk. Jin feels his swim trunks tightening around his crotch at your words.
“Is that a challenge?” Jin breathes out more roughly. “For me to find them.”
“You can only search with your lips though.” Your hand reaches up to touch his chest, it glides down his stomach making him tense.
“Deal.”
Jin wraps his arms around you, pulling you in close as his lips find yours. His full, puffy lips move against yours roughly, almost in desperation. But it feels exhilarating. You can’t recall the last time someone has kissed you like this.
Your hands rub against his chest and stomach while his hands find your ass and he picks you up, sitting you down on the counter. His lips never leaving yours as he devours you. You moan, parting your lips and Jin takes advantage to slip his tongue in, playing, dancing with your tongue.
Jin’s hands travel up your back until he is untying your swim suit top, it falls off your body and Jin immediately throws it to the side. He pulls away from you to admire your bare chest, his breathing unsteady as he reaches out to touch you.
“So beautiful.” He whines. “How are you so beautiful?”
You can’t help but feel shy in your position plus his sweet words…has Jin always made you feel this way?
“Have you always thought I was beautiful or is this new?” You find the courage to say and Jin looks at you with a soft, tender expression.
“Always.” He says slowly, “Is that weird?”
“No…” you admit between long breaths, “Just because you find me pretty doesn’t mean you—”
“Yes, it does.” He cuts you off.
“You don’t even know what I was going to say?” you tease and Jin walks between your legs.
“I like you y/n.” He takes your hand in his and rubs your thumb with his. You blink up at him repeatedly until you nod your head slowly.
“Okay…” you gulp. “I don’t know how I feel…” you admit. You wish you could tell him you like him too but your breakup is too fresh…but you…”But I don’t want to stop.” You gesture between your bodies and he smirks down at you.
“Take your time, y/n.” he tells you softly, “But yes, I don’t want to stop either.”
Then he’s leaning down and catching your lips for a long kiss. His tongue slips past between your lips and swirls against your own, you moan out, loving the feeling.
He hands squeeze your breasts, his thumb rolling over your nipple making you groan. His hands slide further down your body until he is dragging off your swim suit bottoms, he slips them off one leg at a time, exposing you.
“Can I make you feel good?” he starts lowering himself to your exposed pussy, “Please?” he quietly begs. “Want to taste you.”
You quickly and frantically nod your head in approval, Jin smiles up at you and lowers his head into your heat.
His wet, slippery tongue finds your clit immediately. He starts flicking his tongue expertly against it, your whines and whimpers filling the small room. He sucks on your bundle of nerves before you feel two fingers sink into your hole, you gasp out when he starts to slowly thrust them inside you.
“Mm.” Jin moans into your center, his tongue lapping you up. You feel your body become more and more tense, you feel the build up starting to happen.
He continues to lick at you over and over, while his fingers fuck you quickly. His long fingers reach places you never could—Or Eun for that matter.
Your moans get louder and louder as he gets closer to bringing you to orgasm. He curls his fingers making you see stars, his hot, wet mouth on your pussy has you closing your legs around his face as you start moving your hips up and down, fucking his mouth.
“Oh Jin!” You scream out, you feel the tension snap and you are coming all around his tongue. You continue to ride it out by rubbing your pussy against his tongue with your hips.
“You taste amazing.” He says, you loosen your legs around his head and he begins to pull back from you. His face glistening with your juices and you love to see it.
“You were amazing…”
“I wonder how you would feel…coming all over my…” Then Jin looks up at you, “Maybe one day I can find out.” He settles.
“Maybe you can.”
Andante
[Peter Maximoff x reader (X-Men: Apocalypse)
Summary: When an injury brings Peter’s superhuman speed to a screeching halt, you figure he could use some company and cheering up.
Warnings: mild language
Notes: could be interpreted as romantic or platonic, if that’s more your speed]
           You hurry in from the rain, pausing just long enough to shake off your umbrella on the doorstep before closing the door behind you. You take a moment to wipe your shoes on the mat in an attempt to keep them from squeaking in the tiled halls of the mansion.
           The floorplan of this rebuilt version is practically identical to the original. The design and decor are much the same, too. Still… You feel a bit like a stranger, or maybe the mansion itself does.
           With everything else that’d happened, you hadn’t really had a chance to process your own experience that day. One second, you were trimming the hedges by the mansion’s front steps. The next, you were a hundred yards away, surrounded by the students and staff, and the mansion was exploding, and suddenly there in your midst was your childhood best friend – Peter Maximoff, all grown up.
           It’s funny how someone you knew for such a short time could’ve made such an impact on you. Really, you and Peter only knew each other for two years. It baffled the teachers how a quiet goody-two-shoes like you could be thick as thieves with resident mischief-maker Peter Maximoff, but you were practically inseparable. Perhaps it was partly due to some truth in the old saying about opposites attracting. But there was more to it than that. You and Peter shared a secret.
           Your sporadic telekinesis had nothing on Peter’s incredible speed, but he never seemed to mind. You were both just so happy to finally have someone who understood, who you didn’t have to hide from. Those two years were some of the best of your life.
           And years passed, and you grew up. You kept your abilities hidden, but you kept the memory of Peter with you. You’d think of him often, hoping that he was doing well, wherever he was. You never expected to see him again.
           Lost in thought, Hank hurries around a corner and nearly bowls you over. You both apologize to each other, laughing, and continue on your respective ways.
           It feels strange being back here after… Well, after everything. Everyone is doing their best to settle back into a routine, but it isn’t quite working yet. Maybe it won’t ever feel the same.
           The students either converse too loudly or are oddly subdued, with very little in between. Scott Summers’ group of close friends is never far from his side, and the faculty likewise seem to hover around the professor. It’s difficult not to dwell on how bad things had gotten, and how much worse everything could’ve been.
           And if it’s difficult for you, you can only imagine how it must be for the person you’re here to see. You pause to knock politely at his door, and the voice that answers sounds oddly terse.
           “You can come in.”
           You slip into the room to find Peter scowling morosely out the window. He’s still laid up in bed, his broken leg in a cast and propped up on a pillow. He’s got a wicked case of bedhead, and there are dark rings under his eyes. You don’t think you’ve ever seen him look so tired.
           There’s an odd sound you can’t quite place – like the low hum of a fan or the purring of a cat – and you realize that it’s just Peter drumming his fingers restlessly on his nightstand at impossible speeds. He turns his head, and when he sees that it’s you walking through the door, his expression shifts into one of relief.
           “Oh, thank God,” he says, “I thought it was somebody coming to make sure I’m still “resting.” C’mere! Have a seat!”
           You grab a nearby chair and drag it closer to his bedside. You hate to see Peter cooped up and frustrated like this, but it’s good to see him, period. You don’t like to think about what could’ve happened to him in Cairo.
           When you look back up at Peter, his hair is smoothed down neatly. You snort involuntarily. If he's feeling well enough to be vain, it must be a good sign.
           “How are you holding up?” you ask.
           Peter slumps against his stack of pillows and groans dramatically, letting his head fall back.
           “I’m bored out of my mind. Do you know that they’re not letting me walk for a week? A whole week! Something about a risk of my leg not healing right if I move too fast on it. I said I’d walk like a normal person, but they apparently don’t trust me. Can you believe that? Don’t answer that. So I asked them just to drug me, knock me out for the rest of the week so I can get it over with, but they won’t do that either. This blows.”
           It’s hard not to smile, but it’s just so good to hear his voice. And, damn, people say you talk too fast. You’d forgotten that Peter was the true motor-mouth. Maybe he’s where you picked it up from. Though he still looks annoyed, Peter seems a little more relaxed after all that. Apparently he needed someone to vent to.
           He rolls his head to one side to look at you, and his brows furrow. “Hey, are you okay? You look tired.”
           “I look tired?” you say, “Have you looked in a mirror lately?”
           “I haven’t, actually, because the mirror’s all the way over there, and I’m stuck in bed. You wouldn’t guess that having to sit alone with your own thoughts would wear you out, but apparently it does.”
           You’d had a feeling that the broken leg isn’t all that’s weighing on his mind. There’s still the whole Magneto business.
           You almost ask him about it, but you think better of it. Peter’s got a lot to mull over on that front. If he wants to talk about it, you’ll be there to listen, but you don’t want to bring it up when he doesn’t have any way to exit the conversation if he needed to. You decide to change the topic slightly.
           “Listen,” you say, “I never got a chance to thank you. You saved my life. You saved so many people. I don’t know what would’ve happened if you hadn’t turned up at the mansion when you did.”
           Peter ducks his head a bit as he smiles, probably pleased to get a little recognition. There hadn’t been much time for gratitude in the moment. There hadn’t been much time for anything, really. And there certainly hadn’t been time to reconnect.
          You’d chased after Scott and his friends into the wreckage, trying to make sure none of them got hurt, and then things went from bad to worse. Suddenly, you found yourself tagging along with these immensely powerful teenagers on a fly-by-night rescue mission. It’s a good thing you did, too. Who else was gonna fly that getaway plane?
           Your own mutant abilities had never been particularly strong, not in a combat sense. You’d learned to be a pilot in an effort to make yourself useful. You just hadn’t expected it to pay off in a situation like that.
           “What can I say? Right time, right place… Right speed.” Peter’s grin turns rueful as he glances down at his busted leg. “I mean, by all rights, I should be thanking you, too.”
           You’d been trying not to dwell on that whole experience. It makes you feel a little sick to remember seeing that familiar silver streak darting around while Apocalypse was tossed in the air like a ragdoll, and then feeling the hope choked out of you as you heard Peter scream in pain.
           You don’t know how you managed to scramble down out of that second story ruin after Hank and Scott without hurting yourself any worse, but you did. You tried to shake it from your mind – the feeling of shrapnel and energy battering the telekinetic field you’d struggled to maintain around Peter and Mystique.
           You clear your throat, as though that’ll somehow clear out the memory as well. “Yeah… I guess sometimes you don’t know what you’re capable of until it’s literally do-or-die.”
           “I don’t just mean Cairo.” Peter shakes his head. “Well, that, too. But I don’t just mean that. I mean when we were kids. You always had my back.”
           Just before middle school, Peter’s family had moved away. You weren’t quite sure why, but it seemed like something had happened and Peter wouldn’t talk about it. He spent his entire last week in town with you, and on the very last day he hugged you tightly and promised that he’d come back and visit if he could.
           You never heard from him again.
           It was only years later that you’d put the pieces together – the Maximoffs’ sudden move, the well-dressed men turning up at the school and asking strange questions. Peter must’ve gotten caught using his powers, and his mother packed up the whole family and fled to protect him.
          “For weeks, months after we moved away, Mom was so scared. She wouldn’t let me out of the house. She thought that, any second, somebody was gonna show up and… I dunno, take me away, I guess. But I wasn’t worried. I was a cocky little shit, y’know?”
           You snort. “‘Was?’ Pretty sure that part of your personality hasn’t changed.”
           Peter laughs, but it fades quickly.
           “I heard that people came to our old school looking for me. And, hey, they never found me and Mom, so I figured you must’ve covered for me.”
           If there was one thing you were grateful to your younger self for, it was your instinctive distrust of these suspicious strangers.
           “I didn’t tell them anything,” you say, and Peter nods.
           “I knew you wouldn’t. But this one day, something hit me. What if they found out that you were a mutant, too?” Peter shakes his head, biting his lip. “I was terrified. I thought they were gonna find you, and… and I don’t know what I thought they’d do to you.”
           You feel cold all of a sudden. That thought hadn’t occurred to you. You’d been so focused on trying to keep Peter safe that you never once considered that you might be in danger, yourself. All those news articles about what Bolivar Trask had been up to ten years ago come flooding into your mind. You brush them aside and focus on what Peter’s saying now.
           “I wanted to run back there, make sure you were alright; maybe – I don’t know – take you with me and run away so we’d both be safe. I actually bought one of those AM radios, if you can believe it. Every night, I’d use the skip to listen to the news back there. I never heard anything about you, so I had to make myself believe it meant that you were okay. Otherwise I would’ve gone crazy, y’know?”
           He laughs again, but it sounds a little shaky.
           “Yeah, I know,” you say quietly. The air in the room feels sorta heavy now. Damn it, you’d come here to cheer Peter up, and it’s about time you get to it. You change topics with all the grace of a sledgehammer. “Speaking of none of this, I brought you something.”
           Peter immediately perks up. You rummage in your backpack and pull out a box of Nutty Buddy bars.
           “I remember these where your favorite when we were kids. I didn’t know if you still liked them, so I brought some Star Crunch, too. But you don’t have to-”
           Peter seems to blur for a moment, and suddenly both boxes are torn open and several wrappers are arcing their way into the trash can. Peter lets out a satisfied sigh. You might’ve remembered his favorites, but you’d forgotten his habit of absolutely inhaling them.
           “Okay, I guess I shouldn’t have worried,” you say.
           “What else you got in that bag?” Peter asks. “It can’t all be snack cakes. Unless it is…?”
           He’s joking, but you can tell he wouldn’t be disappointed if the answer was yes. You heft your heavily-loaded backpack onto the edge of the bed.
           “I figured you’d be bored, so I brought some books over in case you… What?”
           Peter never had a great poker face. You can tell that he’s definitely trying to smile, but that expression is a pained grimace. He laughs ruefully.
           “I might not be able to walk, but my hands still work. And my eyes. Did you know I can read a whole bookshelf in two hours?”
           “Oh…”
           You hadn’t thought of that. You look down, crestfallen. Of course, if something can be done at speed, that’s how Peter will do it. So that rules out all the other usual time-killers – crosswords or jigsaw puzzles or craft projects.
           But you remember Peter enjoying some things that can’t be sped through – live music being the main one. You start to wonder about the logistics of sneaking Peter out to take him to a concert or a play or something, but that’d be difficult to pull off without the professor catching you. Hmm…
           Peter’s brow furrows for a second, and then his expression brightens.
           “Hey, why don’t you read them to me?”
           You blink in surprise. “What, me?”
           “Yeah, you. Who else?”
           At this prospect, you’re suddenly rethinking everything. For all Peter might call himself a loser, you’d always seen him as infinitely cooler than yourself.
           “I don’t know. These are some of my own books, and I don’t know if you’ll actually like any of them.” You can feel yourself blushing preemptively, certain he’ll judge your taste in literature. “Maybe if I run to the library instead-”
           “No, don’t go!” Peter interrupts. “It’s raining cats and dogs out there, and I’m sick of being alone. Come on, read me your nerd books. Please?”
           He turns those big, pretty, puppy-dog eyes on you, and it’d be almost impossible to say no, even if you wanted to. Which you don’t. You sigh, smiling at him.
           “Alright, you win,” you say, “But you have to at least pick which one.”
           His face brightens into a full thousand-watt grin. “Done!”
           Peter blurs once more as he shuffles through your selection of books. Then suddenly he’s still again, tilting his head as he studies a stout little paperback.
           “Hey, didn’t they make a movie out of this?”
           He tosses it to you and settles back against the pillows, watching you expectantly. You pull up your legs to sit cross-legged on the chair and take a deep breath. Here goes.
           “‘Carl Conrad Coreander – Old Books.’ This inscription could be seen on the glass door of a small shop…”
           You read on, interrupted only by the odd quip or question from Peter. You hardly mind his commentary. You’re just happy that the story seems to be entertaining him. He’s a far cry from the agitated ball of nerves he’d been when you walked in.
           You glance over at the clock and see that two hours have gone by. You wonder if Peter would mind you taking a quick intermission to give your voice a break. But as you turn to ask him, you fall silent.
           Peter’s head is lolled back on the pillows, his eyes closed, his lips parted slightly. His chest rises and falls with deep, even breaths – sound asleep.
           You smile fondly at him. Poor guy. He really must’ve been exhausted.
Telekinetically, you switch off the lamp. The atmosphere in the room softens to the grey light filtering in from the rainy day outside. There. That’s more conducive to sleeping.
           You make note of the page you’d left off on and close the book, picking up your copy of Howl’s Moving Castle instead. Moving as carefully and quietly as you can to keep from waking Peter, you make your way over to a more comfortable spot on the window seat.
           You’d hate for Peter to think you’d run out on him after he fell asleep. You’ll stick around. And if he needs anything when he wakes up, you’ll be here. That’s what old friends are for.
