FATHER a fashionable role playing
What very well may be the first MOTHER inspired game, "FATHER a fashionable role playing" was announced in late 1990 for the FM77AV40. The story follows a young price who sets off to avenge his father's death. Info about this game is very rare and I am unsure if it even released.

月刊マイコン 1983 vol 12
(micomBASIC Magazine)
"This magazine was a monthly publication that was printed in Japan from the early 80s to 2003 and contained programs written in BASIC for many Japanese computers of the time, both the popular and less popular ones. Also included are ads for various Japanese computers and games of the time, such as arcade ports of Namco games and Hudson Soft’s licensed Nintendo games. In the case of the latter, some issues even feature pre-release screenshots of these games."

Our blogs are @GameArtArchive , @OldGameMags, @Sonic_Hedgeblog, @nintendometro & @Sega_City, please follow them all! Join us on Discord at discord.gg/qYzH3E6, & support us on Patreon at patreon.com/Rlan
For Game Art Archive I work hard to extract the art at the best quality, and bringing all sorts of weird, rare artwork to the limelight.
This month we’ve got some great games - including:
Final Fantasy VI (SNES)
Over on Old Game Mags, we rummage through all the great 80’s and 90’s magazines to find fascinating articles, cover artwork and advertisements for the games of yesteryear, posting several times a day!
We’ll be going through:
Video Games & Computer Entertainment #9, Oct 1989
micomBASIC, June 1986
64 Magazine #4, Sept 97
Sonic The Hedgeblog has post posts about long lost artwork, GIFs, secrets and more from the blue rodent.
Sega City and Nintendo Metro are a mixture of them all - reblogging magazine ads and artwork from either platforms, with a mixture of new GIFs, videos or secrets thrown in for good measure.
All blogs are maintained by me - Ryan Langley, aka Rlan . It’s a lot of work maintaining, extracting and posting everything. If you like what I’m doing, you can support us on Patreon , where you can get updates on both blogs, as well as the original high resolution extracted art from VGAA! Every dollar helps!

‘Farland Story: Shirogane no Tsubasa‘ [ファーランドストーリー 白金の翼]
[PC-98] [JAPAN] [MAGAZINE] [1994]
Chronologically the fourth Farland Story game, "Shirogane no Tsubasa" makes a fresh start story-wise, bring the first Farland Story not to deal with the hero Arc and his friends. In this game, you follow the destiny of a rebel group, who had to flee from the evil despot Pepper. Led by the cat-man Darland and the fugitive Phir, the rebels must overcome all possible obstacles in order to put an end to the evil reign and to restore peace in the land.
Although the game has a different story, it still looks and plays more or less the same way as the first three Farland Story games. The game consists of strategic battles, during which you navigate your party members in turn-based mode over the map, attacking enemies when they are in range, and casting spells. Various type of terrain influences your attacks. For example, if you position your character on a square with a castle, his/her HP will be healed. ~MobyGames
