sir bear's sweetheart special is an event running from february 10th to february 16th. during this week long event, you can ask for head canons for any of the drivers, AUs & themes/topics listed under the cut. please adhere to the rules below, and don't forget to have fun!

rules:

the whole event is themed around love.

no sad ending angst. no crack.

suggestive and smut are fine, but nothing overly gratuitous.

no female readers. gn, male, trans, genderfluid/queer & nonbinary+ readers are allowed.

one idea per ask. multiple drivers per idea is fine.

six drivers per idea. full grid/full list is not a valid driver option.

AUs are allowed (encouraged even!) but please check list below.

polyamory is okay (encouraged!) but try not to cross leagues too much as i find it hard to write for uncommon pairings.

Anon I will never mind writing these two. I adore their soft goody vibes so much and thank you for requesting this because I am a little in love with the idea I wrote!

I used a fluff sentence starter prompt list for inspiration!

Callum/Mick- Souls Entangled

Callum, outwardly, had never really believed in soulmates or the process behind them. Often brushing off all questions about his mark, if he had found the one yet or if he planned on using one of the agency’s that had cropped up nearly a hundred years ago in attempts to match marks.

He was always polite about the subject. His answers to the media that it would happen when it happened. That if he and his soulmate were meant to be, then they would meet naturally. Not because he had submitted his mark to the soul match database in attempt to find his match.

Maybe in a few years, he had told one particularly nosy report whose colourful mark was on display on the back of their hand, maybe if he hadn’t found them by the end of his twenties then he would actively look, but for now he was happy as he was.

And it was the truth.

Hiii again, it's the anon with ideas for schulott fics and I have more. So I don't usually like fics that are from alternative universes but I definitely need one where Mick and Callum are highschool sweethearts and everyone votes them the best prom couple or something like that. Also another I have is them, once retired, opening like an academy to help finding young talents with low incoms for the sport.

Well hun I gotta say I’m a sucker for a good alternate universe, there’s so many options! Werewolf, magic, high school, royalty (that’s my favorite), soulmates!!

But anyway high school au: so callum is a jock obviously, he’s mr popular, the class clown, star of the baseball team (he would get squished playing football) he’s got tons of friends and the teachers all love him

On the opposite side we have our blueberry mick Schumacher. Now mick is the quiet kid, he stays out of things, keeps his head down and just stays in his lane as much as possible, he’s got two close friends (Marcus and whoever else) who always try to get mick out of his shell.

Now it’s prom season at this school which means huge prom-posals and fancy suits. Now let’s say one of callum buddies knows callum has a crush on the resident berry boy so they hatch a plan to ask mick to prom for callum but it ends up backfiring. Mick thinks it’s all a prank and ends up crying in the bathroom where callum finds him.

After a long and emotional talk/confession mick agrees to go to prom as callums date. CUE MONTAGE!! We see the boys suit shopping, callum not knowing the difference between a boutonniere and corsage, mick calling his uncle seb in a panic cause he had a dream that his prom would be like the Carrie movie and doesn’t want to be drenched in pigs blood. But somehow they finally come together prom night and walk hand in hand into the dance hall.

So callum wins prom king but another girl wins queen and mick just slowly sinks into the crowd cause he knows that the girl is better for callum. But callum walks into the crowd and pulls him onto the dance floor. During the slow dance that’s when they have their first kiss and mick gets all flustered and hides his face in callums chest while callum just looks down at him fondly.
