Donderdag 7 mei – Er is vreselijk veel te doen over de laatste documentaire van Michael Moore: Planet of the Humans. De klimaatbeweging staat boos op haar achterste benen. Met name omdat de documentaire hernieuwbare energie eenzijdig in een negatief daglicht zou plaatsen en zo de fossiele industrie zou bewapenen. Mijn korte analyse: de documentaire bevat veel fouten, geeft geen energie of oplossingen en hint op het belang van geboortebeperking (een strategie die van weinig zelfreflectie getuigd). Ik moet wel toegeven dat ik maar tot de helft ben gekomen. Toen was ik er al helemaal moe van. Zichtbaar achterhaald, langdradig en negatief.

Damn I can't believe ten years ago we had a massive attack on our soil, so we decided to go to war and reduce everones freedoms. Then 8 years later Obama is the bad guy... Fuck bush may not been the bad guy but you best believe his administration fucked us all over.. and we are here arguing about a perpetualy increasing debt that has always be voted to increase... Just look at all the companies who profited off the war and the ones telling you that we are right.. no one disagreed. Ill tell you this much if we go to another war I SAY NO TO IT, and I will not go for the rich man's on gain. P.s watch how we push back the squester for another 3 months and we continue to focus on that and not the real problems facing Americans. Shit sickins me it makes me want to run for senate and take all the bribes I want from "lobbiest", yea the fucking are bribers don't deny it.

To be fair, I really don't care.

There has been all sorts of talk lately about this Mitt Romney fellow and the whole American election and whatnot and hate all you want but I really.....really don't give a damn. I completely understand that its a big deal, elections always are, but I care about it about as much as I care as anything else that happens in America. Now before you get all hotheaded about what I've just said (because I understand that this is widely broadcasted) I would like to make a few points. First of all I live in Canada. "The things that happen in America still affect Canada you know." I'm aware, but they don't affect me personally. I'm a 22 year old single male who works a night shift at a grocery store, and for whatever amount it is affecting my life its not enough for me to even notice let alone get all bent out of shape about. I feel as strongly as I do about the whole election deal as I do pretty much any other major conspiracy behind the "corruption of the American Government" or anything else. "How could you have not seen Fahrenheit 9/11?" Because, I'm not interested, simple as that. War on terror, blood for oil all planned conspiracy blah blah blah, about halfway into that conversation I'll have usually stated how little it impacts me, and when they keep going I just simply start playing some kind of music in my head till they are done. Now I'm not a closed minded person, in fact I enjoy learning new things, but opinions are not facts. I am more than willing to hear someones side of a story and their thoughts on just about anything, I love to listen to what people think and have to say, but if you just watched the latest Micheal Moore flick, or read a massive article by some guy who knows so much about the Illuminati and feel the need to inform me word for word on what these people think, in my head there is a picture of a hose coming off that media and going into the back of your head and merely spewing out that nonsense from your mouth, and not your own nonsense that I enjoy hearing. I don't have an opinion on this election other then that I do hope for the best for the sake of America and if things don't turn out so well then, well that's the thing with democracy, its your vote so its your fault really. When it starts knocking on my front door and taking my money, food, possessions and freedoms then maybe I will consider giving more of a damn, but until then I'm going to continue to wake up, go to work, come home, smoke some pot, eat some dinner and goto sleep. Lather Rinse Repeat. I have a feeling alot of people aren't going to agree with my views, and for those that don't, well.... Refer to the Title of my rant for my thoughts on that.
