My dear friend @pierrekilleen gave me this beautiful record 🦋 all the inserts, poster & booklets perfectly intact from its 1975 release. This singular album was easily my brothers & my favourite. We'd listen for hours & could sing every song perfectly, thanks to the book of lyrics. We'd curl up in the orange bean bag chair with my dad's headphones, sharing them. We'd repeat our favourite lyrics, Michael singing "sugar bear, sugar bear, sugar bear" after I'd sing "someone saved my life tonight". It's so deeply bittersweet to me now, as I wish I could have saved my brother's life. But he lives in me, through memories, music & love. You know when you cry, and it hurts, but it feels so real you don't mind?
