There are so many things about Michael that I hope they include in the Heartstopper TV show. because i don’t have the same vision on naruto and sasuke at all, and also regarding the tags, i feel like some people look at the story in a weird way? like they look at it trough the spectrum of "what is reasonable to do in real life" but i don’t think it’s always relevant… like they seem to say that naruto chase after sasuke because he can’t accept that sasuke thinks differently than him, and he shouldn’t decide what’s good for him or not, sasuke should do what he wants to do and all… they completely overlook the whole situation and look at it in a very simplistic way when the story is more nuanced

I just read this post and it gave me a headache. Honestly I don’t understand half of what the op is even saying and I’m not going to pretend that I do.

Now from what I understood it seems like they can’t see Sasuke and Naruto having a bond (except if it ends in a tragic way) when respectfully the first one is an avenger and the other has the dream to become hokage, which is indeed a superficial level reading. Like them having a deep and meaningful bond isn’t incompatible with also having completely different goals in response of the way they both were treated since their childhood. And it’s there that lies the complexity of their characters and literally the whole point of the story I want to say.

It’s true that for a while Naruto didn’t completely understood Sasuke since he never knew his parents and never experienced loss in front of his eyes, and Sasuke didn’t completely understood Naruto either. Why it’s so important for Naruto to keep chasing after him instead of focusing on training to become hokage. I’m not saying anything new and the vast majority of sns fans are aware of that. However, they understood each other from the start in the sense that they know what loneliness is and how it feels to be mistreated for dumb and unjustified reasons. Now I’m coming to the next point, it’s funny when on the post the op doesn’t like Sasuke literally telling to Naruto "I know your heart and you mine". You can dislike sns if you’re not into it but stop wanting the characters to be someone they’re not to prove a point. I think this analysis isn’t objective.
