he was so feminine and seemed so comfortable and natural in it. dangerous/history era and beyond. good for him.
#it's interesting bc he wasn't really doing anything THAT different from stuff he did as far back as before thriller#but it was different enough that it was very noticeable#i feel like the difference between Bad abd dangerous is crazy in this way#i'm talking more about his attitude than the actual presentation#Although#there is maybe something to be said about Bad presentation being... well. very made up but in an acceptable way. for Michael Jackson#aka a masculine way. kind of a punk way#not to say that makeup is inherently feminine but what is punk style if not femininity masquerading as masculinity#yknow. depending on the specific Scene. idk that much about all that i'm just thinking of michael's style for Bad#and i think a similar thing happened with thriller although the style wasn't as specific#he had the jheri curl and the military jackets and a Cool Guy thing happening#so like. masculine.
