Enthusiasts need to chill about missing features and details in the MGS MC.

It's making would-be newcomers think they're unplayable.

You plug a controller, the game runs, it looks cool, you experience the vibes, the story and the gameplay, which are the core thing everyone loves.

You don't need unlocked framerates nor ridiculous resolutions for that. You don't even need to set up controls or emulation settings or whatever.

4K is overrated, heck 1080p is overrated even. The games industry is so fucked because it needs to be constantly pushing to sell new hardware when we could totally continue to have fun with tried, perfectly fine devices and software.

It's come to this, where people would complain that a fucking Pong rerelease doesn't support 8K with DLSS. So concerned with the experience being as luxurious as possible that we miss the focus on the experience itself.

i wonder if they'll have found a way to restore mgs3's healing animations for the master collection or if it'll be fucked like in the hd collection. A part of me hopes the quality on them will be even worse and it'll just be Naked Snake Pain Noises as he's crushed into a pixelated smear

With the mgs master collection coming in four weeks or so that means everyone outside japan will finally experience mgs1 integral for the very first time (I don't count the one on gog unfortunately due to that one being incomplete content wise...) plus based on this it would appear konami is implementing a save file system for their other games in regards to the psycho mantis boss fight (If you know, you know.)
