Domestic Fluff Samus HCs

Honestly, Samus struggles with normal ways of domesticity.

Most of the food she has is hunted alien or Galactic Federation MRE's

But expect her to knock on the ship's main door and open it with a hunted alien over her shoulders.

Samus is very proud about it and will cook it as a show that she is the mate for you.

Is always up earlier than you, she will cook breakfast or go kill some alien game and bring it home as stated earlier.

Very avid cuddler. Her metroid DNA makes so she doesn't like the cold, so when out of the version of the suit she's wearing, She find a way to maintain skin contact or any form of touch.

Metroids by nature and especially Samus now (as she is the last metroid) are protective of their species and those they'd hold value to (The baby metroid protected and gave it's like for Samus whom it valued)

This in essence means Samus is the big spoon, no ands, buts or ifs about it. She curls around you protectively and tucks her chin in the crook of your neck, arms wrapping around your waist firmly.

If you're in bed in this position, if you need something Samus will lift you with her, and carry you like a forward facing backpack.

If it's super cold in her ship, Samus will wrap you like a burrito in one of her blankets and set you on the counter as she makes hot coco.

When very content, Samus does emit a very low chirp in the back of her throat, a side effect of the metroid DNA.

Pretty good story teller if she's in the mood to talk (which really isn't often) she likes to tell of her childhood with the Chozo the best as those were her happiest memories.

If you ask nicely, yes she will speak some phrases in Chozo, you may not understand it, but damn if it doesn't make her even more hot I stg.

If she's piloting, Samus has a tendency to get lost in relatively intrusive thoughts, so she likes to have you in her lap as she pilots the space craft

Will point out some cool planets and along with having ADAM give her the facts.

Subconsciously, runs her hands through your hair as a stress reliever for both you and her. Hair ruffles? Hair ruffles.

She's been through a lot in her life so when she finally gets to settle down with you it's a huge relief to her

Expect lots of cuddles especially when it's time to sleep

She's often the big spoon but doesn't mind cuddling in other positions as long as she gets to hold you

Some mornings, she'll bring back some alien meat since it's what she's used to eating but at least she's good at cooking it!

She can be a little paranoid about losing you due to her losing many loved ones, so when she clings to you for no reason, just let her so she can see you're safe

She really wants to slow dance with you but she doesn't know how to but that won't stop her from trying

And when both of you trip and you fall on top of her, at least you're both laughing

Mario:

Baking a cake with Mario is an absolute joy ride. His enthusiasm is infectious as he hums Italian tunes and expertly guides you through the recipe. He’s a natural in the kitchen, treating it like an art form(From Princess Peach's Influence), but also leaving room for fun. He’s constantly taste-testing the batter and frosting with a wink, saying it’s "important to get it just-a right!" You both work seamlessly, though sometimes he gets a bit distracted when he starts tossing dough in the air like he’s flipping a pizza. In the end, the cake is flawless, and Mario proudly presents it as if you’ve both created a masterpiece together.

Yoshi:

Yoshi is incredibly eager to help, though a little clumsy in the kitchen. He loves tasting everything as you go along, sometimes sticking his tongue out too far and accidentally eating part of the ingredients. Despite this, his positive energy keeps you both laughing the entire time. You’ll have to keep an eye on him, though—leave the sugar alone for too long, and Yoshi will have eaten half of it. But once the cake is baked, Yoshi is so excited that he does a little happy dance, making the entire experience heartwarming and full of smiles.

Donkey Kong(DK):

Donkey Kong is surprisingly gentle in the kitchen despite his large frame, rowdyness and strength. He’s determined to help, though you’ll notice he can’t resist tossing bananas into the mix, even if it’s not a banana cake. You work together to mix the ingredients, with DK carefully following your instructions while occasionally sneaking bites of bananas and batter. His favorite part is the decorating—he insists on using extra bananas on top as garnish. In the end, the cake might not be traditional, but it’s definitely delicious and full of DK’s quirky charm.

Link:

Baking with Link is a quiet but calming experience. He’s not too much of a talker, but he follows your instructions with sharp precision, taking everything seriously. He might be a bit unsure about how to bake at first, but once he gets the hang of it, he’s fully focused. You share peaceful moments while mixing the batter and frosting, occasionally exchanging soft smiles. He takes care in every step, as if baking the cake is a mission. When it’s time to decorate, you both enjoy adding personal touches, making the final product as charming as it is delicious.

Samus:

Baking with Samus is efficient and organized(plus you get to see her out of her suit for a while...or at least her beautiful blonde hair as she doesn't have her helmet on). She’s precise with every measurement and action, turning the cake-baking process into a well-structured mission. While she’s not particularly emotional about the process, she surprises you with little moments of fun, like using her arm cannon to quickly whisk the batter or heat the oven. The end result is a cake that’s not only delicious but also expertly crafted. Samus might not be super expressive, but the small smile she gives when she sees the finished cake tells you she enjoyed the experience more than she lets on.

Fox:

Fox is all about teamwork in the kitchen. He takes charge but lets you take the lead where you want. You’ll notice him frequently checking the time and trying to make sure everything is on schedule, like a mission briefing. He’s fast but careful, and his competitive nature shows when he tries to perfect every step. Fox is also surprisingly playful, teasing you about your frosting skills or sneaking a bit of the cake mix while grinning. The cake turns out perfect, and he’s happy to share it with you, giving you a playful nudge, “We make a great team, huh?”

Kirby:

Baking with Kirby is pure chaos in the best way possible. He’s more interested in eating than baking, so you’ll have to keep him from gobbling up the ingredients before they even make it into the bowl. Kirby’s enthusiasm is unmatched, though, and he constantly tries to help—even if it’s just him licking the spoon or cleaning up the leftover frosting. Expect him to inhale bits of the cake as soon as it comes out of the oven, but when he finally settles down to share what’s left, "Poyo!" he’s all smiles and excitement, ready to enjoy your creation together.

Luigi:

Luigi is a little nervous in the kitchen, but he’s incredibly helpful and sweet. He often second-guesses himself, asking, “Is this okay?” or “Are you sure that’s enough?” but he’s so genuine that you can’t help but reassure him. You both share lots of laughter, especially when things go a little off track, like when Luigi accidentally splatters batter everywhere. By the end, the cake might be a little messy, but it’s full of love and care. Luigi is proud of the final product, especially since he got to bake it with you, and he happily shares a piece, blushing a little as he says it turned out great.

Captain Falcon:

Baking with Captain Falcon is intense and high-energy. He approaches the task like a race, moving quickly and shouting things like “Falcon Mix!” as he stirs the batter at lightning speed(whist making a bit of a mess). His enthusiasm is contagious, and you both end up laughing as he tries to make everything as epic as possible, even when it’s something simple like cracking an egg. The cake is finished in record time, and though it may not be the most neatly made, it’s definitely delicious. Falcon pats you on the back, grinning wide, “We totally smashed it!”

Rundas famously doesn't work well with others, so if he takes a liking to you, it's already something special

Although really, he's usually friendly towards civilians, he just has difficulty sharing the spotlight with other bounty hunters unless they've impressed him

Despite his pride when it comes to his career, he becomes exceedingly show-offy when he has a crush, since he worries they won't think much of him unless he's constantly surpassing his own abilities

He loves the attention being a bounty hunter gets him, which means convincing him to go on a more private date takes some work

His suit allows him to withstand environments that would normally be too hot for his species, but he still prefers dates in cold places (take him ice skating or skiing and he'll never forget it)

His body is perpetually cold, as is his suit, and you may get stuck when kissing him. He is going to find this very funny regardless of how funny you find it

His mouth is actually on the underside of his head, so you'll just be kissing his forehead most of the time. Which he doesn't mind, since forehead kisses are more common in his culture anyway

Good luck reaching his forehead though if he doesn't lean down for you. He's quite tall even by his species' standards

Dinner dates are complicated, since he can't safely eat or drink anything hot or even lukewarm. Like. His insides will literally liquify

If you're physically tough and agile like he is, he'll love taking you along with him when he goes hunting

If you're not able to keep up with him like that, he'll insist that you stay behind for safety, but will gladly tell you the whole story once he gets back

He's an "actions speak louder than words" kinda guy when it comes to showing affection, and prefers showing you he cares about you rather than telling you

He will probably pick you up and carry you around at times. If you don't like this he'll reluctantly put you back down, but otherwise he'll happily give you shoulder rides or bridal-carry you away

He's also every bit as show-offy about dating you as he is about his job. He wants everyone in the room to be looking at both of you, appreciating how amazing you both are

It might take him a while to unlearn this if you're the shy type, but eventually he'll be willing to let you slip into his shadow in public (though he still thinks it's a shame)

He's a boundless optimist, something that tends to surprise people. No matter what, he's convinced things will always turn out okay in the end.

Truthfully, that's not so much optimism as it is a coping mechanism. He's not immune to fear, but telling himself and his allies firmly that everything will be alright and the "good guys" will win helps calm his nerves. If he's insisting that there's nothing to worry about, he's worried about something. Talk to him. You probably still won't get him to open up completely, but a second voice affirming that things will be okay might still help.

Samus Aran (Fluff) - Hot Coco

A/N: This is scenery writing practice as well as self indulgent fluff.

You wake up in a much groggier state than usual, eyes cracking open to the dimly lit door light installed in the pressurized sleeping space. You roll your neck hearing a couple pops before looking towards the clock at your side.

4:03 AM

Your body and mind didn't exactly feel tired enough to slink back under the covers and sleep, so you get up. Grunting, you sling your feet over the side of the bed and scoot at the edge allowing one foot to reach the ground. You bite back a hiss at the cold metal floors, but press the other foot down regardless. The blanket wrinkles in your grip as you yank it off the bed and cocoon yourself as to retain some of your warmth in the cold of your girlfriend's spacecraft. The door hisses as it depressurizes, allowing you to step through it as you make your way to the kitchen counter to grab a tall mug and heat up the kettle for hot water. Turning your head, you see your girlfriend without her armor simply donning her old worn Galactic Federation recruit sweats and hoodie. Her fingers tapping languidly on the console, opening various bounties on the screen.

Your focus shifts when the kettle's top releases light shafts of steam before beeping in notice of the hot contents inside. You grip the kettle's rubber handle and pour the hot water into the ceramic mug acquired earlier. Fetching a pack of hot chocolate powder from the cabinet, you tear the corners of each with your teeth before grabbing a spoon and stirring the mix methodically into the hot water. Setting the spoon into the sink and unplugging the kettle, you make your way over to the cockpit, where Samus was seated, slumped against the back of her chair. You tap her shoulder and present the steaming mug of hot coco to her. Her eyebrows lift and her body language straightens in delighted surprise, she takes the mug with one hand and uses the other to take your smaller hand in her larger calloused one. Half lidded tired cerulean eyes flicker up to meet yours as she presses your hand against your lips, a gesture of gratitude. Her one kiss against the top of your hand turns to many as she stands to lead the myriad of kisses along your arm, shoulder, up your neck and to your cheek. Her other hand brings the mug up to her lips and you can hear her sigh of content as she finishes sipping before setting the mug in a cup holder installed into her chair.

Standing at her full height, Samus pulls you into her arms and lets out an affectionate hum as she rests her chin atop your head. You do your best to wrestle both arms from under your blanket cocoon to return the embrace. Samus herself has very high body heat, it almost feels that you could forgo the blanket all together. Can't sleep? her voice rough with lack of use. You nod and hold her tighter, sighing into her chest. The bounty hunter rubs at your back before tapping your shoulder and pointing to the fiber glass front window to her ship Look. Turning your gaze, you take notice immediately of one of Talon IV's remaining moons eclipsing the sun, the light of the sun shedding on a distant asteroid belt giving it a gleaming effect that makes it look like glitter in the depths of space. Your mouth drops in awe It's beautiful, nothing like back home and you don't realize that your girlfriend has pulled back to admire the look of surprise plastered upon your face. It is nothing compared to you. You feel your face heat up immensely, the intergalactic bounty hunter you find yourself enraptured with isn't a woman of many words, but the few she uses are always impactful.

One of your hand gently pries your flustered face from burrowing into her collar. Samus smiles though small, it carries warmth and you can't help but return it. She leans down and lifts you just a smidge and kisses you. Her mouth melding smoothly with yours, an exception being her rough cracked lips, but you really could care less. Samus was not raised to be soft, and rarely showed the traits of a soft lover and you love her for it. You love the rough and the soft, and it's moments like these where she shows her soft side, pulling you into her toned frame and kissing the breath from your lips. You don't mind the rough nights either, where she presses you hard into the mattress and goes down on you in a way that has you clawing at her back and muffling shrieks of pleasure into her shoulder. Tonight, how ever, she feels in need of the peace that is constantly denied from her. Her lips pull away and the bounty hunter's eyes meet yours, in an intense gaze that is filled with affection.

Samus doesn't really need sleep with her genes, but she can see the hand you reach up with and try to rub the sleep from your eyes. Go back to the cabin and sleep. You shake your head and press yourself tighter against her torso. Samus sighs, but gets an idea. You were perfectly content standing there being held by your girlfriend, but that plan quickly changes as she hoists you by the rear and splaying your thighs on either side of her hips as she sits in her pilots chair, you settled onto the apex of her hips snugly. She grips the blanket that has hiked down your body from being carried and wraps your upper half in it, propping your head to rest against her collar. Samus presses a kiss to the side of your head as you let out a content sigh. Samus runs a hand through your hair, feeling you relax into her. With one hand on her hot coco, the other on her mapping device, she decides to type in the coordinates for the nearest space hub, maybe a vacation is in order.

Baking a cake with Princess Peach is like working alongside a master chef(practically the goddess of baking). She’s elegant, precise, and effortlessly graceful in the kitchen. Peach is always cheerful, offering you encouraging words as you work together. She has a knack for making even the most complicated steps seem easy. Peach shares little tips and tricks she’s learned over the years, making the experience fun and educational. Together, you create a perfectly sweet and beautifully decorated cake, with Peach adding a signature peach on top. At the end, she gives you a warm smile and says, “Thank you for helping me, this turned out beautifully!”

Bowser:

Unlike Princess Peach, Bowser’s approach to baking is loud, boisterous, and slightly chaotic. His massive claws aren’t exactly built for delicate work, so you often find yourself guiding him carefully. Despite his rough appearance, he’s surprisingly enthusiastic and eager to please, especially when it comes to impressing you. Bowser grumbles when things don’t go his way, but he quickly recovers, insisting that you’re doing great. He may add too much of something (like sugar), making the cake a bit unbalanced, but it’s still delicious. Bowser proudly presents the final result with a gruff smile, his cheeks slightly flushed as he says, “Told ya we’d make it awesome!”

Falco:

Baking with Falco feels like working with a co-pilot in the kitchen. He’s confident, a little cocky, but surprisingly skilled. He jokes and teases you throughout the process, acting like he’s the pro here, but there’s no denying he’s having fun. You’ll catch him sneaking tastes of the batter and pretending not to, but he’s quick to get things back on track when needed. Once the cake is in the oven, he leans back and casually says, “Told ya, nothing to it.” The end result is solid, and Falco looks smugly pleased, especially when you compliment his flying-themed cake decorations.

Zelda:

Baking with Princess Zelda is a calming and magical experience. She’s gentle and thoughtful, guiding you through each step with care. Zelda uses her magic to help speed up certain tasks, but she’s also deeply invested in the traditional process. Together, you create a cake that’s not only delicious but also beautifully decorated, with intricate designs made by Zelda’s careful hands. She smiles softly throughout, enjoying the peaceful time you spend together. When the cake is done, Zelda offers a soft compliment, “You did wonderfully. I hope we can bake together again.”

Sheik:

Baking with Sheik is unexpectedly efficient and smooth. Despite being more focused on combat and stealth, Sheik’s precision translates well to the kitchen. Sheik moves silently, with an air of mystery, and you find yourself impressed by her quiet confidence. While she doesn’t say much, there’s an unspoken camaraderie as you work together. Sheik seems to enjoy the peaceful break from her usual activities, and though she remains mostly composed, you catch a hint of a smile when the cake turns out perfectly.

Ness:

Baking with Ness is pure fun and chaos. He’s constantly excited, bouncing around the kitchen, eager to try every step. He often rushes ahead, which sometimes leads to messes, but his enthusiasm makes it hard to be upset. You both end up covered in flour and batter at one point, laughing the whole time. Ness loves decorating the cake, adding as many colorful toppings as possible. By the end, it might not be the neatest cake, but it’s full of fun and personality. Ness proudly presents it, his grin wide, “This is the best cake ever!”

Ganondorf:

Okay....Baking with Ganondorf is an experience you wouldn’t expect. He’s serious and stoic, handling everything with intensity, as if baking a cake is a battle to be won(to the point it's almost terrifying). His heavy-handed approach can lead to some smashed ingredients, but surprisingly, he’s very capable and doesn’t mind following instructions. You’re the one who lightens the mood, and despite his usual demeanor, you notice his efforts to make the experience enjoyable for you. When the cake is done, Ganondorf stares at it with pride, offering a rare, gruff compliment, “It turned out well… thanks to my power.”

Marth:

Baking with Marth is elegant and refined. He’s polite and charming, treating the whole process with grace. He’s surprisingly skilled, delicately handling the ingredients and ensuring every step is followed perfectly. Marth pays attention to detail, making sure the cake is as visually appealing as it is delicious. Throughout the process, you exchange light conversation, and he occasionally shares stories from his homeland. By the end, the cake is a work of art, and Marth offers you a sweet smile, “It was an honor to bake with you. This cake is a testament to our teamwork.”

Roy:

Roy is full of energy in the kitchen, which makes baking with him exciting but sometimes chaotic. He’s eager to help, but his enthusiasm sometimes causes spills or slight mishaps. Still, he’s quick to laugh at himself and keep going. He gets a bit competitive, trying to do things faster or better, but it only adds to the fun. Pikachu and Pichu:

Baking with Pikachu and Pichu is adorable, though quite the challenge. They try to help, but their small size means you do most of the heavy lifting. Pikachu helps out with little electric shocks to speed up mixing, while Pichu excitedly runs around, trying not to cause accidents. It’s a bit of a mess, but their enthusiasm makes it all worth it. By the end, you’ve created a cute, colorful cake that both Pikachu and Pichu are proud of. They both celebrate by sharing little happy shocks, and you all sit down to enjoy the cake together.

Recently Completed - Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (PSP)

This is a 2D action-adventure game with RPG elements and a focus on exploration. You play as Alucard, half-human son of Dracula himself. Al's upset that his dad's castle has reappeared, and heads home to register his displeasure by defeating Dracula once and for all. Only, one wrinkle? Dad's not around and the castle seems to be in control of one Richter Belmont. The Belmont clan has usually been the ones to rise up and defeat Dracula in times past, so something weird is going on. Also, Death shows up early on and completely just takes all your cool Alucard-branded gear. Dangit!

What a troublesome weekend!

I was never a big fan of the Castlevania series, having tried and bounced off the earlier (linear) games. In the late '90s, when I was in high school, a friend brought the PSX version over to my house and said "here, you have to try this". I knew nothing about it, but humored him and quickly discovered: 1.) it's gorgeous! 2.) they went Metroid with the series what!! and 3.) omg there are RPG elements and equippable items!!! Reader, I was instantly in love. My first time through the game was a struggle, but as I gradually learned about more secrets and fun ways to break the game, it has become a comfort title instead.

The specific version I played this time was included as a hidden extra in the Dracula X Chronicles game for the PSP. It features a new translation and English dub, as well as the restoration of some cut content. I wanted the experience to feel as fresh as I could, and while the new dub removes some of the iconic goofiness of the original, it helped me appreciate the game again.

This game is absolutely chock full of secrets, oddities, and tiny details. It's abundantly clear that a lot of love went into its creation, but while I've enjoyed later entries with the Metroid style of gameplay, none have quite reached the heights of discovering this castle for the first time. I recognize that it's also the nostalgia talking; you can only be really blown away once, so that's no fault of the later entries. They're good too!

This is 100% a game worth checking out. If you haven't before and the ending you get seems vaguely unsatisfying, keep digging; there's a lot more to this game than first appears. Play it!

Samus w/ Sleep Deprived S/O

A/N: OK NO THIS ISN'T ENTIRELY A REPOST, SO BECAUSE MY LAST GROUP OF HCS HAD THE WORD "INS0MNIA/1NS0MNIAC TUMBLR FLAGGED IT AND MADE IT SO IT WOULDN'T SHOW UP UNDER THE SAMUS X READER TAG. anyways self indulgent Samus with a sleep deprived S/O.

A/n - self-indulgent considering I wrestle with severe insomnia regularly.

Samus has irregular sleeping habits, but does what she needs to in order to survive semi comfortably.

Your health and well being are a major aspect she'd like to protect

There are few Samus can trust outside of ADAM, and you. The Federation screwed her over too many times.

So yes she cares a whole lot.

At first she doesn't particularly notice it despite being as perceptive as she is, she is aloof to human behaviors, but she immediately picks up on a lack of energy in the mornings and increasingly dark and heavy bags.

She asks ADAM, who relays that by monitoring your vitals, reveals your insomnia to Samus.

Samus immediately grows concerned.

The next night, as you were ready for another night of struggling, Samus pulls you close flush against her chest, pulling the blanket up over the two of you.

I know you haven't been sleeping

You bury your head into the crook of her neck in shame.

Samus hums in acknowledgment and proceeds to have one hand rubbing against your back and one carding gently through your hair.

She smiles to herself in a small victory when she feels you relax against her

Better?

You nod as best as you can into her shoulder as her hand travels from your hair to the nape of your neck and rubs gently into the tense tissue there.

A light groan of satisfaction pulls itself out of your mouth. You start to feel drowsy and so you turn in her arms, grabbing her wrists and pulling her arms around you.

Samus tightens them around your waist and curls around your body, providing good warmth on a ship that usually ran at the temperature of a fridge.

Her fingers trace idle patterns along your midriff and you can feel her leave slow light kisses against your neck and then cheek.

Sleep, I will watch over you.

What do I love about The Bad Batch? Okay, crazy story: when I first heard about it, it was a livestream from an older Star Wars Celebration event where Dave Filoni was talking about the concept (hope some of you know what I'm talking about), I actually brushed it off and was all like, "Whatever..." (Now I wanna go back in time and smack my past self for saying that). At that point, I was all caught up with TCW (the show that FINALLY got me into Star Wars and have been a fan since I was a teen). When the series finale premiered with TBB story arc, I was all like, "Okay..." and saw each group being the Leader, Nerd, Muscle, Emo Guy w/ the 20/20 Vision posse that's common in a lot of popular media, and I brushed that off. When Disney announced that there's a spin-off/TCW sequel about them, I was still like, "Whatever..." but gave the season one premiere a watch anyway...

...How could I brushed this off?

The second Omega came into the squad's life, that's when it all changed...and the rest was history! I haven't been obsessed with this fandom ever since my Voltron days! LOL As the show progressed, I just love love LOOOOVE each character and how the end of the Clone Wars affected them and such. There are no words to describe my love for the series now! If you're an artist, writer, creator, reader, etc? I'm an artist (and a reader of TBB fanfics <3). I drew a lot of Omega when the show premiered, and when season 2 came in I draw a lot of Tech and Phee of course! I draw a lot of manga-style art and drew a lot of manga/anime-styled Star Wars fanart back in my otaku days and it was rare to see SW fanart in that style. I'm currently working on a Tech x Phee fan comic adaption of my most favorite fanfiction, "The Right Partner" by Fennecsrifle (the author kindly gave me permission to do so). I wasn't able to work on it as much last year because I was working a completely original VTuber project (which is now live on YouTube). Whenever I'm not drawing fanart, I create art inspired by my Hmong-American heritage, culture, and identity. Please give my VTuber a support by subscribing to her channel!

I recently got into the whole VTuber scene myself since creating my original project last year. Before that, I was already familiar with them like Kizuna AI (the original VTuber), and enjoy Hololive (I love Tokino Sora, Suisei Hoshimachi, and Ceres Fauna).

Speaking of VTubing, I planned on streaming my art and even processes of the TechPhee doujinshi possibly over on Twitch (TBA). Plus other fun stuff like handcams of me sharing stuff too! In the meantime, here are my selfies that I wanna share:

I also love Transformers (especially the animated stuff). I grew up with Beast Wars and the Unicron anime trilogy, but I brushed that off...until Transformers Prime came into my life and I got into the fandom through that show. Sometimes you'll see some Transformers fanart from me.
