This has been sitting on my head for a while, what kind of Pokemon would the FoM cast have for as their team ?Au?

This one was tricky- i’m not gonna lie. My confession is that i’m not a huge Pokemon nerd, I know like maybe up to Gen 4 confidently. But- I do know how to pair these funky little guys. So, here you go!

HC’s under the cut

Adeline: Off the bat, I think she’d have physic type pokemon. She needs someone who can help her use paperwork and also help her take a load off. So I think her team would be: Raltz, Galarian Ponyeta, Espeon, Hattere, and Delphox.

Balor: Being our beloved rougish character. I think he would have both cute- and scary pokemon. So his team would probably consist of a lot of fairy type and ghost/dark types. I think his team would be: Mimikyu, Marill, Mawhile, Sinestea, Phantump, and Haunter.

Eiland: Look me in my eyes rn and tell me he would not have rock/ground type. He’s an archaeologist. Of course he does. His team would be: Leafeon (Not a ground type but I think it’s cute if him and Adeline both have eveeloutions), Phanpy, Onyix ofc, Silvally, Clodsire my boy, and of course the fossil pokemon- Kabuto.

Celine: She would definitely have grass or fairy. Just look at her. I’m giving her togepi because she would look so cute walking around with her. She’d also have Bonsweet, Given roses are a loved gift- i’d say she’s have Roselia too, Deerling for the vibes, she’d also have marill and a wooper.

March: Once again. Look me in my eyes and tell me he wouldn’t have steel/rock type. If you say no you’re wrong. He’d have Metaln- I mean it’s little molten metal. That’s like- his thing. I can not explain it- but Lucario. He’s a sucker for cute things, so Togedemaru. TINATINK. She’d like to help him hammer. Geodude. And Rockruff.

That’s all I got for now! Because this hurt my brain 💀 but if you want more specific pokemon teams you can let me know! Or- better yet @mistriarts is a pokemon connoisseur ask her lmao

Before / After: Monster Rancher Battle Card restorations

I thought I'd share some of the more difficult cards to touch up and restore. The cards with foil work are very tricky to touch up because you can very easily make it look very obviously painted over. I've put in roughly 330 hours thus far on the cards and art restoration, and I THINK I am nearing the end on this 3rd pass. https://legendcup.com/monster-rancher-battle-card-ccg.php 1. Breeder Card #353 - This was was dark, dirty, scratched up.

2. Centaur Skill Card #327 - I've tried multiple sources for this card, but the card itself is just difficult because a lot of the Action/Motion lines are baked into the card, and looks scratched even with a pristine card. However the brightest card scan still had actual scratches as well to cover up.

3. Metalner Skill Card #291 - This was was difficult to try and smooth out scratches while not losing out speed lines. Where the scratches are along the more solid colors was a bit easier to touch up.

Who is the weakest of the three Pixie monsters in the Monster Rancher Anime Series -Pixie/Granity, Lillim or Poison?

Heya! Thank you for the ask! This is an interesting question!! ^_^

I’m gonna have to say Poison is the weakest while Granity is the strongest.

For Granity, we see her start off as Pixie and she was already a powerful member of the Big Bad Four. We see her kill multiple monsters (and humans lol) throughout her journey, and her Big Bang attack took out multiple Scaled Jells all at once, which were enemies the Searchers struggled with. Once she combined with Big Blue to become Granity and Moo was defeated, she went off on her own and it definitely seems like she was training. When she comes back in “Battling Granity”, she absolutely wrecks the Evil Hares and the Searchers couldn’t defeat her when she was being controlled by Metalner, she removes him herself. ^_^

Lilim is just a savage. We don’t get to see her fight much but when she does, she’s a very powerful foe! After killing Captain Weed and betraying Durahan, she goes through the wringer on the Iron Bird before her untimely demise. I wish we had seen her fight more though!

The final season did a weird thing since the Searchers aren’t looking for the Phoenix, I think they didn’t want to kill any monsters since they wouldn’t be able to justify reviving them. Since Poison falls in this season, she unfortunately gets nerfed and is mostly a character added for comedic interactions with Mum Mew and to just give Durahan something to look at since he can’t do anything else. I still like her a lot, but I do think she’s the weakest of the Pixie monsters we see. ^_^’

The Ministry of Defence has reported that not a single Bavian was killed in the attacks and one corvette was abliterated by our forces, showing them the true strength of our nation. Those who oppose our nation and our democratic system shall not live long enough to see us age, only prosper.

However my friends they'll be back, a fleet twice as strong and with twice the amount of guns. We shall be ready however, I have ordered the Minister of Defence to build a new fleet, the First Fleet of Kuzuvia. This Fleet will be the grandest fleet the nation has seen, one headed by the biggest ship the Bavian Navy has seen, the BSSS Kelc.

We tried a peaceful method, however they will not listen to our voices in the GUN, I would address them personally if I could, especially after they attacked our homes. However now our lives are in danger, and we are fighting a historic battle.

I can not do this alone. However, that is why I ask you, the great Bavian people, to defend the nation and defend our homes. These enemies have come time after time trying to take our way of life from us, and we must never falter.

I have requested that all Bavian settlements start a donation of metaln campaign to go towards this new fleet along with new requirement offices as we will show them who is the Grandest of them all.

So the Bavian People I leave you with this message, Bavia will fight, Bavia will win, Bavia will do everything it needs to to survive, no matter the cost.

METALNER[メタルナー] It might actually be a reference to the METALUNA MUTANT[メタルナ・ミュータント] from the 1955 sci-fi film, This Island Earth? But the design itself looks nothing like the aliens or the flying saucer in that movie

LOVE-LOVE-SEIJIN[ラブラブセイジン]: -seijin[星人] lit."star person" is a suffix you slap onto things to denote them as aliens "from-planet-XYZ" So an alien from the planet LOVE-LOVE, although apart from the literal phonetics, the phrase LOVELOVE[ラヴラヴ] is an adjective used kind of in the way we'd say something is "Lovely-Dovey" in English. So is scans as "Lovey-Dovey Alien."

METAZO[メタゾール] No idea what this was supposed to mean... POSSIBLY AN ATTEMPT AS META-SOL, like an opposite to META-LUNA?? Oh wait duh it's just META from Metalner and ZO from Suezo mashed together... (Oddly it's the exact way you'd write METHAZOLE, as in the chemical compound, but I'm pretty certain that's a coincidence.)

LAI LAI[ライライ] from lai lai[来来]: "come, come..." a thing kind of associated with, like, street barkers trying to get passerby into their shop or restaurant. Consequently it's the name of a lot of Chinese restaurants in any place other than China. The saucer body is a china bowl.
