Dortmund Deathfest@JunkYard, 02.+03.08.2024

"YOU CAN'T LISTEN TO A RECORD AND FIND OUT WHAT WE'RE ABOUT. YOU'VE GOT TO SEE US."
PIC(S) INFO: Spotlight on a 1981 UK promotional poster for MOTÖRHEAD's "No Sleep 'til Hammersmith" live album, and a concert poster for the band's live performance at Westfalenhalle, Dortmund, Germany, on July 11, 1981.
"Originally released on 27th June 1981, Lemmy is quoted as saying of it:
“I knew it’d be the live one that went best, because we’re really a live band. You can’t listen to a record and find out what we’re about. You’ve got to see us.”
Upon release No Sleep ‘Til Hammersmith went straight to number one, their first and only in the UK and is still the most necessary live album of all time."

Always Forever
"You and me, always forever, we could stay alone forever. You and me, always forever say you'll stay, never be separate."
Scenario: Jude gives you a promise ring when he first left England for Dortmund to promise you that he'll always be there even in another country. When England reached it's unfortunate end in the World Cup, Jude goes back home to England to find you still wearing the ring.
Song: Always Forever by Cults
(A long one before i go talk shit about my classmates at school with my baddies again 🤭)
"I'm sorry about the match, baby." you said trying to comfort your boyfriend who got knocked out the World Cup by defending champions, France. "Why are you apologizing? It's not your fault, you know." Jude chuckled, smiling at his phone. "I was just trying to comfort you." you rolled your eyes playfully. "Yeah, I'm upset we're out but i'm so happy I finally get to go home, to you." He said to the camera. "Cringee!" You shouted to your phone, showing your hand with your thumbs down. Jude cocked his head back in laughter. "Not you binge watching Hallmark movies for that one line." you laughed. "Fine, I guess I won't be coming home to you." Jude threatened. "We both know that's bullshit." you pointed at him. He shook his head with a smile. "The plane's about to board, see you later baby." He said, pulling his mask up. "Okay, love you!!" You declared, kissing your camera with over exaggerated kissing noises. Jude stared at his camera with a smile. "Jude, do it back." you said in the middle of your goofy kissing noises. "No, I'm in public!" he whisper-shouted. "JUDE, I LOOK STUPID IN MY ROOM." You said quickly before making more kissing noises. "That's your fault, bozo." Jude giggled. "JUDE!" You said once more. Jude playfully sighs before kissing his phone with a 'mwah'. "Thank you, was that so hard?" You rolled your eyes. "Yes, because I'm in front of professional footballers." Jude said. Jude had his phone near his hip as he was boarding the private plane with the rest of the England squad. "Bye, bae!" You said, trying to catch his attention. "Byeee." he whispered before you ended the call and hope he has a safe flight.
You took your phone from your stand before letting yourself fall on your bed. You sighed to yourself, knowing that by tomorrow your boyfriend was finally going back home. Emotions swirled around your mind, your body. You were nervous, scared even, yet you were excited and happy. One thing these emotions gave you was a rapidly beating heart. You raised your hand to your face, looking at the piece of metal hugging your finger. Before Jude went to Germany for Dortmund, he gave you a promise ring. To promise that he'll always be with you even if he wasn't physically there. To promise you that he was always gonna be there for you. A small but meaningful promise that was fulfilled even if he was so many kilometers away from you. You stare at it for what felt like hours. Your blank mind finally drifts into the memory of when you first got the ring.
"Here, happy birthday." Jude says, pulling out a box out of his pocket. "My birthday isn't even today, bitch ass." Your eyebrows ruffled looking at him with a confused expression. "Well, advance happy birthday." He rolled his eyes. "My birthday is in like 6 months." You said. "Oh my days, just take it." Jude laughed. "I still get a gift on my birthday, right?" You giggled, opening the box. You gasped softly upon seeing two rings. "I know I'll be away for God knows how long and I.. just wanted to give you something." He smiled but shyly putting his hands in his jacket pockets. "How sweet of you, you're gonna make me cry." You said with a bright smile, taking out the ring and examining it with utmost admiration. "I know, I'm such a heartache." Jude said, putting his hand on his chest jokingly. You slipped the ring on your finger, raising your arm to the sky as you looked at it with glittering eyes. Jude took the other ring from the box and slipped it in his finger. He raised his arm to the air, placing it near your arm. "You're gonna wear that ring on you at all times, okay?" You said. "That applies to you too." Jude smiles.
A small smile curled your lips. You couldn't help but feel this amount of serotonin every time you look at the ring. You placed your phone on your bed stand before finally drifting to sleep, tomorrow was going to be an exciting day.
Jude on the other hand was looking out the window, just like you-- emotions swirled him. He was nervous yet ecstatic. Every time he thought about finally meeting up with you again he couldn't help but smile childishly with a racing heart. He finally closed his eyes, drifting into sleep.
Time Check: 4:08 pm
Incoming call . . .
Jude 🖤
You instantly picked up the phone. "Hey!" You greeted. "Hi!" Jude greeted back. Just by the tones anyone could point out that both of you were excited, like 7th graders calling their friends about their sleepover. "I wasn't gonna tell you when I arrive but I arrive 6:30pm at the airport." Jude says. "Wait, what. Why weren't you gonna tell me?" You asked. "I don't know, to fuck with you." Jude laughed. "Oh, fuck off." You insulted. "Are ya prettying up for me?" Jude cooed. "Lower the ego, dickhead!" You shouted. Jude laughs in response. "I'll pretty up for you too." Jude says. "You better.. I better not be the only one putting this much effort." You grumbled. "So you are prettying up for me!" Jude cackles. "Fuck off, Bellingham!" You shouted, ending the call. You chuckled to yourself, knowing damn well he was right. Jude smiled at his phone. "Jude, mate. You've been smiling so much these past hours, you alright?" Trent chuckled at his friend. "Just excited to go back home." He replied. "Soo, you being excited to going home is kissing your phone and saying 'baby' to it?" Trent said, trying his best to hide his laugh. "Oh, goddamnit.." Jude whispered.
Time Check: 6:23 pm
You were currently standing in the middle of the airport, staring at your phone, waiting for a phone call or a text message. You looked at the time your phone displayed and decided you should call him. You went into your contacts and dialed your boyfriend's phone number. Holding your phone to your ear, you waited. After a few rings, the phone picked up. "Hey! Have you landed yet?" You asked. "Yeah. We just did, I'm roaming around to find you right now." Jude said in the other line. "Really? W-Where are you?" You said, excitedly. You looked around you to see if your boyfriend was anywhere near. "To be honest, I don't know." Jude laughs. You didn't respond, you were too busy to check if you'd seen him. Your eyes wander around and finally stop when you spot him. A bright smile tugged your lips, heart already racing. "Okay, let me find you- you might get even more lost." You chuckled, ending the call. In your view, you saw Jude stare at his phone when you hung up, an annoyed expression on his face. You slowly approached him, not trying to be found. Jude pressed buttons on his phone, he was dialing you.
Your phone vibrated in your pocket, annoyed by the sound you picked it up. "Don't hang up on me! Can you tell me your surroundings?" Jude said, looking around. At this point you were inches behind him. "Yeah, sorry." You said, trying to hide your giggle. "Uhh, I see someone's back wearing a blue jacket, looking incrediblely stupid right now." You explained. "Wait, huh?" Jude said. "Yeah, but he looks really handsome!" You laughed. Jude quickly looked behind him to see you holding your phone to your ear, smiling. Jude let out an 'oh' before running to you.
You couldn't even blink! When you opened your eyes, his entire body hugged yours. He swayed your body left to right as he rambled about how much he missed you. "You've gotten so fast! I think I almost pissed myself." You laughed before returning the hug. Jude laughed before letting you go to get a good look of you. "You really prettied up for me, didn't you?" Jude smiled. "Shut up." You groaned. Jude took your hands, letting his fingers slip into yours. "Your hands are still so soft." He said in a whisper. He began examining them, realizing you still wore your ring after all these years. You looked at his hands, noticing his ring was gone.
"You're still wearing it." Jude said almost in awe. "Yeah, I always keep my promise." You said, a little upset. When the both of you promised you'd wear the rings, you always applied it and it made you sad that he didn't apply it too. Jude looked at your face, noticing an upset expression. Jude let go of your hands, reaching near his neck. Confused, you looked at him. Underneath his jacket, a chain wrapped around his neck and in the middle- the ring. "Did you really think I'd break my promise?" He chuckled. "You asshole!" You gasped. He laughs. "It got a little too small on me." He explained.
"I'd never break my promise." He whispered, engulfing you into a hug once more. "You better not." You returned the hug.

About yours truthfully 👻
Names you can call me by : Ghost / Wolfie Date of birth : 28.10.1996 ♏ | year of the 🐀 Nationality : French
Facts :
I have two younger sisters, no pets and when I don't have free time, I'm teaching cutiepatooties everything they should know to access further education.
I started taking interests in tarot around 2017 if I remember correctly. I had always been drawn to it but a certain "relationship" lead me to tarot readings.
Aside tarot, my hobbies are : drawing, painting, reading, writing, baking, travelling, collecting useless stuff "just in case".
In terms of musical tastes, I listen to various genres. Metal and rock remain my favorite and the genres I always go back to no matter what.
My first ever concert was of some random French artist I saw with my parents as I child, during the Summer at L'Armada (a convention about boats and sailing that was held by the Seine). My most recent concert was at Japan Expo where I discovered an artist named UK.
Some places/countries I've traveled to : Paris, Germany (Dortmund, München) and Austria (Salzburg), Wales, Roma.
Countries I'd like to go to : Japan, South Korea, Australia, Egypt, Greece
A list of thing I can't live without : coffee, chocolate, music.
A list of things I never thought I'd do but did : travel to Roma, feature in some random guy's song, become a teacher, write an unpublished "book" with my highschool best friend, be a tarot reader.
A list of things I dream of doing : learning how to dance, speaking fluent Japanese and Korean, helping in building a school or a shelter, being influent enough to raise awareness about certain causes dear to my heart, creating something meaningful whether it be a book, a song or a humanitarian organization.

Danko Jones & Los Pepes@FZW, 22.10.2024
Do You Kiss..." verbraten hatte. Kein Schnickschnack, keine Akrobaten - purer Rock'n'Roll!

Here Comes the Pain: Slipknot's Tour Dates Unleashed
Celebrating 25 Years of Mayhem, Slipknot Returns with a Haunting North American Tour Featuring Knocked Loose, Orbit Culture, and Vended In the shadowed recesses of the heavy metal world, Slipknot has conjured a tour potent with the ominous allure of their early chaos and self-titled album—marking the 25th anniversary of their eponymous debut with the "Here Comes the Pain" North American tour. This grim celebration weaves together the threads of their legacy, set to haunt arenas from the crypts of New York City's Madison Square Garden to the spectral halls of Los Angeles' Inuit Dome and Austin's Moody Center. Accompanying Slipknot on this macabre journey are the harbingers of hardcore, Knocked Loose, alongside the dark metallurgists of Orbit Culture and Vended—a band born from the lineage of Slipknot's own Corey Taylor and Shawn "Clown" Crahan. This assembly not only promises an auditory assault but a lineage of terror that extends the band's ominous legacy. As the Nine prepare to unleash a year of celebrations that meld U.S. festival apparitions with a European and U.K. pilgrimage, the soul of Slipknot's creation looms large. Guitarist Jim Root reflects on the genesis of their sound with a somber reverence, "We poured our spirit into the first record, not knowing if it would echo beyond the void. Yet here we stand, a testament to the night, selling out not just records but the very halls of the living." Shawn "Clown" Crahan, the band’s percussionist and unyielding visionary, casts a darker pall on their success. "Each stage I ascend, it’s not the numbers that bind us but the maggot culture, thriving in the decay we spread. This anniversary may find us in grander sepulchers, but the intimacy of the crypt will be felt. Prepare to have your essence shattered—we are the disease, and you are already within our grasp." For those enthralled by the prospect of witnessing this spectacle, artist presale tickets have emerged from the shadows today at 12 p.m. ET, available through Knotfest.com. The public will have their chance to seize these tickets on Friday, May 3rd at 10 a.m. local time. Embrace the dark, for Slipknot’s tour promises not just concerts but a profound ritual celebrating a quarter century of sonic malevolence. Prepare for an experience that goes beyond music—it's an invocation of the band’s darkest arts.
