Oldsmobile’s Experimental ’66 Toronado Station Wagon
What if Oldsmobile produced a Toronado station wagon? General Motors was intrigued enough by the idea to build a prototype or two.
It’s only natural that General Motors and its Oldsmobile division would seek out additional applications for the advanced front-wheel drive unit designed for the 1966 Toronado. Known internally at GM as the Unitized Power Package or UPP, the powertrain module was a tidy, versatile package, and surely a bundle had been invested in its development. The next application following the Toronado, of course, was the 1967 Cadillac Eldorado. And since one great benefit of the UPP front-drive system was that it allowed a low, flat floor, another use that easily came to mind was a station wagon.
By March of 1966, the GM design had a full-sized studio model ready for display at the Tech Center’s styling court (above). As we can see, this was essentially a European-style shooting brake adaptation of the production Toronado coupe. Sporty, yes, but the two-door wagon didn’t offer much more in the way of useful interior volume over the standard Toronado.
Taking a more practical approach, GM built a full-sized, four-door wagon prototype using the Toronado drive unit and front-end sheet metal. But at the time, Oldsmobile didn’t offer a full-size wagon—its largest wagon was the Vista Cruiser, based on a stretched A-body intermediate platform. So a Pontiac full-sized wagon body shell, from the firewall back, was merged with the Toronado front clip. As the photos show, the Olds/Pontiac mashup was more of a basic proof-of-concept rather than a finished prototype. The tail lamps fit oddly and the front and rear wheel openings don’t match at all.
Leading automotive historian Michael Lamm, writing in the late, great magazine Special Interest Autos (July-Aug 1978) reported that in fact, several of these experimental front-drive wagons were constructed. Mr. Lamm also noted that GM styling vice president Bill Mitchell raved about the flat, unobtructed floors, and he included this awesome Mitchell quote: “With the tailgate down, you could run a motorscooter into it.” But as we now know, the front-drive, Toronado-derived station wagon was never sent into production—though the UPP was later used to power the 1973-78 GMC Motor Home.
There was another Toronado station wagon, not that Oldsmobile had any direct involvement. In 1968-70, American Quality Coach of Blytheville, Arkansas produced the AQC Jetway 707 airport limousine. A Toronado with its wheelbase extended five and a half feet, it sported tandem rear axles, five doors per side, and a Vista Cruiser-ish station wagon roof. Somewhere between 52 and 150 of these behemoths were reportedly built, various sources say, and a number of them are still around.

Different Types of Rodents: Common and Uncommon Rodent Species
Rodents are among the most common pests found across the world, with many species capable of causing significant damage to homes, businesses, and crops. Whether you live in urban or rural areas, it's important to understand the different types of rodents and the risks they pose. This knowledge is particularly valuable for property owners in regions like West Memphis, TN, Marion, AR, Wynne, AR, Jonesboro, AR, and Paragould, AR, where pest control is essential to maintaining safe and healthy environments. Let's explore the most common and uncommon rodent species you might encounter and how pest control can help manage infestations.
Common Rodent Species
House Mouse (Mus musculus)
The house mouse is one of the most prevalent pests worldwide. Known for its small size and grayish-brown color, the house mouse is highly adaptable and can live in a wide range of environments, including homes, businesses, and agricultural areas. Mice tend to contaminate food sources, damage structures by gnawing, and spread diseases through droppings and urine.
Norway Rat (Rattus norvegicus)
The Norway rat, also known as the brown rat, is a large and robust rodent that often lives in sewers, basements, and burrows near homes and buildings. These rats are excellent swimmers and can cause extensive structural damage by gnawing through wood, plastic, and even metal. In addition, they are notorious for spreading diseases such as leptospirosis and hantavirus.
Roof Rat (Rattus rattus)
Roof rats, also called black rats, are smaller and more agile than their Norway rat cousins. They typically live in trees and higher places, such as attics, rafters, and ceilings. These rats are highly destructive to insulation, wiring, and stored goods. Roof rats also pose a health threat, as they are known to carry diseases like salmonella and bubonic plague.
Uncommon Rodent Species
Deer Mouse (Peromyscus maniculatus)
While less common in urban areas, deer mice are often found in rural environments, particularly in barns, sheds, and cabins. These rodents are brown with white underbellies and have larger eyes and ears compared to house mice. Deer mice are particularly concerning because they are a primary carrier of hantavirus, which can cause severe respiratory issues in humans.
Kangaroo Rat (Dipodomys spp.)
Kangaroo rats are small rodents native to arid regions, characterized by their long hind legs and tails, which they use to hop like a kangaroo. While they rarely invade homes, they can become pests in agricultural areas, feeding on seeds and crops. Kangaroo rats are more commonly found in the southwestern U.S.
Pack Rat (Neotoma spp.)
Pack rats, also known as woodrats, are larger rodents that gather materials like sticks, leaves, and shiny objects to build their nests. These nests, called middens, can grow quite large and cause structural damage if built inside homes or outbuildings. Pack rats are known to carry parasites like ticks and fleas, which can transmit diseases to both humans and pets.
Cotton Rat (Sigmodon hispidus)
Cotton rats are medium-sized rodents that are typically found in grassy or overgrown areas. They are most active in the southeastern U.S. but have also been spotted in parts of Arkansas. Cotton rats are known to invade agricultural areas, feeding on crops like cotton and grains, and can sometimes move into residential areas in search of food.
The Importance of Pest Control for Rodent Management
Rodents can pose serious risks to both property and health. They are known carriers of various diseases, such as hantavirus, salmonella, and leptospirosis, which can be transmitted to humans through contact with rodent droppings, urine, and saliva. Additionally, rodents can cause significant structural damage by chewing through electrical wiring, insulation, and building materials, increasing the risk of fires and costly repairs.
Professional Pest Control in West Memphis, TN, and Arkansas Areas
Whether you're dealing with common rodents like house mice and Norway rats or more uncommon species like pack rats and kangaroo rats, it's essential to address infestations promptly. Professional pest control services in West Memphis, TN, Marion, AR, Wynne, AR, Jonesboro, AR, and Paragould, AR, can assess your situation, develop a tailored plan, and use effective methods to eliminate rodents.

Enhancing Durability and Efficiency: The Rise of Silicone Coating in Missouri
In the heartland of America, Missouri has been witnessing a significant transformation in various industries through the adoption of advanced materials and technologies. Among these innovations, silicone coating Missouri has emerged as a game-changer, providing unparalleled benefits to multiple sectors including construction, automotive, and manufacturing. This versatile material is reshaping the landscape of durability and efficiency, making it a cornerstone of modern applications in Missouri.
Silicone coatings are renowned for their exceptional properties, including high resistance to extreme temperatures, UV rays, and weathering. This makes them particularly valuable in a state like Missouri, where the climate can be highly variable, ranging from hot, humid summers to cold, snowy winters. The robust performance of silicone coatings ensures that structures and vehicles are well-protected, extending their lifespan and reducing maintenance costs.
One of the primary industries benefiting from silicone coatings in Missouri is construction. Buildings and infrastructure face constant exposure to the elements, leading to wear and tear over time. Silicone coatings are applied to roofs, facades, and other exterior surfaces to create a protective barrier that prevents water infiltration, reduces thermal cycling damage, and resists mold and mildew growth. This not only enhances the durability of the structures but also contributes to energy efficiency. The reflective properties of silicone coatings help in reducing heat absorption, thereby lowering cooling costs during the hot Missouri summers.
The automotive industry in Missouri is also leveraging the advantages of silicone coatings. Vehicles are subjected to harsh environmental conditions, from blazing sun to freezing temperatures, which can degrade paint and other exterior materials. Silicone coatings provide a resilient shield that preserves the aesthetic and functional aspects of automobiles. Furthermore, these coatings improve the aerodynamic efficiency of vehicles by creating smoother surfaces, which can lead to fuel savings and reduced emissions. This aligns with the growing emphasis on sustainability and eco-friendly practices within the automotive sector.
Manufacturing processes in Missouri are experiencing a boost in productivity and product quality due to the integration of silicone coatings. Machinery and equipment coated with silicone exhibit enhanced resistance to corrosion, abrasion, and chemical exposure. This prolongs the operational life of the equipment, minimizes downtime, and ensures consistent performance. Additionally, silicone coatings are utilized in the production of various consumer goods, where they provide a durable, non-stick surface that enhances the functionality and longevity of the products.
The versatility of silicone coatings extends to specialized applications as well. In the aerospace sector, for instance, silicone coatings are used on aircraft components to improve resistance to extreme temperatures and reduce ice buildup. In the medical field, silicone coatings are applied to devices and implants to ensure biocompatibility and longevity. These diverse applications underscore the transformative impact of silicone coatings across different domains in Missouri.
Local businesses and industries in Missouri are increasingly recognizing the value of silicone coatings and investing in this technology. The adoption of Silicone Metal roof Arkansas is not only a testament to the state’s commitment to innovation but also a strategic move to enhance competitiveness in the regional and global markets. As more sectors embrace this advanced material, the overall economic and environmental benefits are expected to multiply, reinforcing Missouri’s position as a leader in technological advancement and sustainable practices.

US winter storm causes 3rd day of dangerous, icy conditions (AP) A deadly storm system lashed a large swath of the southern U.S. with bands of sleet and snow for a third day on Wednesday, grounding an additional 2,200 flights, leaving hundreds of thousands without power, forcing school closures and making already treacherous driving conditions worse. Watches and warnings about wintry conditions were issued for an area stretching West Texas’ border with Mexico through Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana, and into western Tennessee and northern Mississippi. Several rounds of mixed precipitation, including freezing rain and sleet, were in store for many areas throughout the day, meaning some places could get hit multiple times, forecasters said. By late Wednesday morning, 2,200 U.S. flights had been canceled, including three-quarters of the flights at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and more than two-thirds at Dallas Love Field. Many flights were also canceled at other airports, including in San Antonio, the Texas capital of Austin, and Nashville, Tennessee, compounding frustrations caused by the nearly 2,000 cancellations on Tuesday and roughly 1,100 on Monday.
As Officers Beat Tyre Nichols, a Crime-Prevention Camera Watched Over Them (NYT) The body cameras worn by the Memphis police officers who stopped Tyre Nichols recorded his anguished cries and the conflicting orders that were virtually impossible for him to obey. As the officers punched and pepper-sprayed him, though, those cameras were often jostled, pointed away or dark. But the residential street where the officers had caught up with Mr. Nichols after he ran from them on the night of Jan. 7 happened to have another camera trained on it, affixed to a utility pole in a white metal box with a bright blue light. It was one of the hundreds of SkyCop cameras, as they are known, that the Memphis Police Department has installed around the city. It was watching from above, recording as Mr. Nichols was beaten and then as officers and medics delayed providing aid. He died three days later. Camera systems like SkyCop, which have been adopted by police departments around the country, have been criticized by activists and privacy advocates as a costly investment that does little to deter crime while adding to the overbearing presence that the police often have in neighborhoods—especially poor ones—where the cameras have proliferated. Yet in this case, the round-the-clock camera has been a vital tool for accountability.
In Haiti, gangs take control as democracy withers (AP) Jimmy Cherizier zips through Haiti’s capital on the back of a motorcycle, flanked by young men wielding black and leopard print masks and automatic weapons. Cherizier, best known by his childhood nickname Barbecue, has become the most recognized name in Haiti. And here in his territory, enveloped by the tin-roofed homes and bustling streets of the informal settlement La Saline, he is the law. Internationally, he’s known as Haiti’s most powerful and feared gang leader, sanctioned by the United Nations for “serious human rights abuses,” and the man behind a fuel blockade that brought the Caribbean nation to its knees late last year. But if you ask the former police officer with gun tattoos running up his arm, he’s a “revolutionary,” advocating against a corrupt government that has left a nation of 12 million people in the dust. At a time when democracy has withered in Haiti, it’s armed men like Cherizier that are filling the power vacuum left by a crumbling government. In December, the U.N. estimated that gangs controlled 60% of Haiti’s capital, but nowadays most on the streets of Port-au-Prince say that number is closer to 100%. “There is, democratically speaking, little-to-no legitimacy” for Haiti’s government, said Jeremy McDermott, a head of InSight Crime, a research center focused on organized crime. “This gives the gangs a stronger political voice and more justification to their claims to be the true representatives of the communities.”
Peru Protests Hit Mining Sector and Impede Exports (WSJ) Peru’s political upheaval is battering industries that once powered one of Latin America’s fastest-growing economies. Amid violent antigovernment protests that show little sign of easing, foreign-owned mines that have made Peru the world’s second-biggest copper producer have halted operations. Hotels and restaurants in the tourism hub of Cusco are nearly empty, leaving thousands of people without work as demonstrators battle police on streets normally full of tourists. On the southern coast, farmers say they can’t transport crops to the U.S. and China as protesters choke off roads. Economists say Peru’s crisis underpins the costs of growing political instability in Latin America that is fueled by anger over corruption, weakening economies and grinding inequality.
Britain grinds to a halt as a half-million workers go on strike (Washington Post) A long-running dispute over pay and working conditions came to a head Wednesday, with hundreds of thousands of British workers taking part in what organizers said was the biggest day of industrial action in more than a decade. About 500,000 workers joined in the day of mass action, as teachers, train and bus drivers, university lecturers, civil servants and airport staff staged walkouts. The huge show of discontent comes amid rampant inflation and years of stagnant wage growth, and it puts further pressure on the long-ruling Conservative Party as it grapples with a cost-of-living crisis. Thousands of schools were closed—about 85 percent of schools in England and Wales were affected, according to the National Education Union—and most trains in England were not running. “Walkout Wednesday” is how the Daily Mail newspaper described the strikes, calling the action a “general strike in all but name.” The Sun tabloid called the disruption “Lockdown 2023.”
The Double Whammy Making Italy the West’s Fastest-Shrinking Nation (NYT) Italy’s population is aging and shrinking at the fastest rate in the West, forcing the country to adapt to a booming population of elderly that puts it at the forefront of a global demographic trend that experts call the “silver tsunami.” But it faces a demographic double whammy, with a drastically sinking birthrate that is among the lowest in Europe. Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has said Italy is “destined to disappear” unless it changes. This month, Ms. Meloni’s government approved a new “Pact for the Third Age,” which she said would lay a foundation for health and social overhauls for Italy’s exploding population of old people. “They represent the heart of society, and a patrimony of values, traditions and precious wisdom,” said Ms. Meloni, adding that the law would prevent marginalization and the “parking” of elderly in institutions. “To care for the old is to care for all of us,” she said. But if Italy does not get serious about encouraging young families and working women to have children, “it will remain and forever be a country that gets older,” said Alessandro Rosina, a leading Italian demographer and an author of a “Demographic History of Italy.” The combination of low employment for women, the fleeing of young professionals and families, little immigration, low birthrates and radically increased life expectancy amounted to a demographic disaster, he said.
Russia Sidesteps Western Punishments, With Help From Friends (NYT) A strange thing happened with smartphones in Armenia last summer. Shipments from other parts of the world into the tiny former Soviet republic began to balloon to more than 10 times the value of phone imports in previous months. At the same time, Armenia recorded an explosion in its exports of smartphones to a beleaguered ally: Russia. The trend, which was repeated for washing machines, computer chips and other products in a handful of other Asian countries last year, provides evidence of some of the new lifelines that are keeping the Russian economy afloat. Recent data show surges in trade for some of Russia’s neighbors and allies, suggesting that countries like Turkey, China, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan are stepping in to provide Russia with many of the products that Western countries have tried to cut off as punishment for Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine. Even so, Russian trade appears to have largely bounced back to where it was before the invasion of Ukraine last February. Analysts estimate that Russia’s imports may have already recovered to prewar levels, or will soon do so, depending on their models.
Turkish drones are a bargain (MIT Technology Review) Drone warfare, as exemplified in the war in Ukraine, has taken combat into wholly new directions. In the early 2010s, the Turkish military wanted to buy U.S. drones, but the sale was prevented because of concerns they might be used to violate human rights. Turkey then spun up its own domestic drone industry, the flagship product of which is the Bayraktar TB2 aircraft, which is cheap and widely available and for sale to many countries the U.S. didn’t want to sell Predators and Reapers to. It goes for about $5 million a pop—a Reaper goes for $28 million—and can communicate at a range of about 186 miles, traveling 80 miles per hour to 138 miles per hour for over 24 hours.
U.S. arms left in Afghanistan are turning up in a different conflict (NBC News) Weapons left behind by U.S. forces during the withdrawal from Afghanistan are surfacing in another conflict, further arming militants in the disputed South Asian region of Kashmir in what experts say could be just the start of the weapons’ global journey. Authorities in Indian-controlled Kashmir tell NBC News that militants trying to annex the region for Pakistan are carrying M4s, M16s and other U.S.-made arms and ammunition that have rarely been seen in the 30-year conflict. A major reason, they say, is a regional flood of U.S.-funded weapons that fell into the hands of the Taliban when U.S.-led NATO forces withdrew from Afghanistan in 2021. While the U.S.-made weapons are unlikely to shift the balance of power in the Kashmir conflict, they give the Taliban a sizable reservoir of combat power potentially available to those willing and able to purchase it. More than $7.1 billion in U.S.-funded military equipment was in the possession of the Afghan government when it fell to the Taliban in August 2021 amid the withdrawal, according to a Defense Department report published last August. Though more than half of it was ground vehicles, it also included more than 316,000 weapons worth almost $512 million, plus ammunition and other accessories.
Myanmar resistance steadfast against army rule 2 years later (AP) The prospects for peace in Myanmar, much less a return to democracy, seem dimmer than ever two years after the army seized power from the elected government of Aung San Suu Kyi, experts say. On Wednesday, legions of opponents of military rule heeded a call by protest organizers to stay home in what they call a “silent strike” to show their strength and solidarity. Photos posted on social media showed empty streets in the normally bustling downtown area of Yangon, the country’s largest city, with just a few vehicles on the roads, and there were reports of similar scenes elsewhere. Small peaceful protests are an almost-daily occurrence throughout the country, but on the anniversary of the Feb. 1, 2021, seizure of power by the army, two points stand out: The level of violence, especially in the countryside, has reached the level of civil war; and the grassroots movement opposing military rule has defied expectations by largely holding off the ruling generals.
Radioactive capsule that fell off truck found in Australia (AP) Authorities in Western Australia on Wednesday recovered a tiny but dangerous radioactive capsule that fell off a truck while being transported along a 1,400-kilometer (870-mile) Outback highway last month in what an official said was like finding the needle in the haystack. Officials said the capsule the size of a pea was found south of the mining town of Newman on the Great Northern Highway. It was detected by a search vehicle travelling at 70 kilometers (43 miles) per hour when specialist equipment picked up radiation emitting from the capsule. Portable search equipment was then used to locate it 2 meters (6.5 feet) from the side of the road. “This is an extraordinary result ... they have quite literally found the needle in the haystack,” said Emergency Services Minister Stephen Dawson.
Israel refills the Sea of Galilee, supplying Jordan on the way (Reuters) When the floodgates are open, a torrent of water gushes into a dry river bed and races to the shore of the Sea of Galilee, a biblical lake in northern Israel that was being lost to drought and the growing population around it. The water is fresh, high-quality, expensive. Desalinated from the Mediterranean Sea and transported across the country where it awaits the order to replenish the lake should it start to shrink again. This new network will also let Israel double the amount of water it sells to neighbouring Jordan under a broader water-for-energy deal forged through a working, though often fractious, relationship. The Sea of Galilee, whose waters Christians believe Jesus walked upon, is Israel’s main reservoir and a big tourist draw. Hotels and campsites line the perimeter encircled by lush hills. The refill system can raise the lake’s level by half a metre each year.
Before a crowd of 1 million, Pope urges Congolese to forgive (AP) Pope Francis on Wednesday urged Congo’s people to forgive those who have harmed them as he presided over a Mass before an estimated 1 million people who flocked to his first main event in Africa dedicated to peace and reconciliation for a country wracked by decades of violence. Many of the Congolese faithful spent the night before the Mass on the vast airfields of Kinshasa’s Ndolo airport and passed the hours before Francis’ arrival singing, dancing and getting jazzed up for the first papal visit since St. John Paul II’s last trip in 1985. The crowd cheered when the Argentine pope greeted them in Lingala, one of four national languages of Congo that is widely spoken in the capital, Kinshasa. And they listened attentively as he urged them in his homily to open their hearts to forgiveness, citing the example of Christ who forgave those who betrayed him. “He showed them his wounds, because forgiveness is born from wounds,” Francis said. “It is born when our wounds do not leave scars of hatred, but become the means by which we make room for others and accept their weaknesses. Our weakness becomes an opportunity, and forgiveness becomes the path to peace.”

Eye Catching Corten Steel Buildings
Once again, the Corten steel building has reached new heights in popularity. With its unique rusted appearance, weathering steel allows architects to create eye-catching building designs. Contrary to popular belief, most rustic building designs you see today are not made from Cor-ten. Instead, they are constructed using steel that meets ASTM standards.
Speaking of Corten Steel, specialized Corten Steel is used for proper functioning. Cortensteeltube.com Is one leading Manufacturer, Supplier & Stockist Of Corten Steel ASME SA423 Welded Pipes And Tubes.
Steel structural components – specifically hollow structural steel – are used throughout the entire building and landscape according to the architect’s overall design. Many of these design elements can be found in the entrances of buildings, such as entryways, fences, signs, and planters.
ASTM A847 tube and pipe are used in the architectural design of bridges, ladders, light poles, sign poles, sculptures, and blower boxes due to their high strength-to-weight ratio. It is best to begin by answering the most common questions listed below to gain a deeper understanding of why architects use Cor-ten tubes and pipes. We hope this helps.
All architects have respected the properties of Corten steel, both for its strength and its distinctive color. It is a type of steel made with a chemical composition that imparts an oxidation that protects the piece practically without altering its mechanical properties.
The architectural details of Corten steel present a diversity of situations and connections, which not only adds constructive value but also aesthetic value to any architectural project.
A low-alloy steel like Corten steel is often used to help buildings survive in arid climates like Arizona or Arkansas. Low-alloy steel is a resilient material for architecture living in harsh environments. A healthy patina of colors develops on corten steel from a rusty orange burnish to a silvery glaze that lets it sink in or stand out, depending on the environment. Corten steel is also chosen to coexist with nature.
On this windswept plain, Emilio Marn and Juan Carlos López built a Corten steel visitor center to help attract tourists to the desert region of Atacama.
Architecture and landscape are intertwined in the description of the project by architects. Wings – perhaps best understood as petals arranged around a core – form wedge-shaped structures connected by an internal corridor, but read as abstracted series of forms from a distance, united by a common cladding material.
Weathering steel is used in rail buildings, auto-portables, bridge structures, tower structures, photovoltaic power stations, and highway structures where materials are exposed to the environment. Additionally, it can be used to make holders, oil and gas production, seaport development, and penetrating devices.
Architects and designers are concerned with controlling how the natural world interacts with the built world. While this usually involves keeping out the elements, building facades allow for a great deal more interaction and experimentation. The weathering process of corten steel allows architects to create vibrant canvases that naturally change over time.
The Top Reasons for the Popularity of Corten Steel Building & Architecture:
For steel panels, roofing, and tubing, Corten Steel is favored by architects. Weathering Steel has unique design characteristics due to its matt surface, which reduces metal reflections, unlike other steels. This unmistakable Bronxe-like appearance is the result of Corten Steel and the climatic conditions in a particular location. As a result of this oxidation, each task is unique.
Regardless of color, paint on weathering steel (COR-TEN prepares) lasts twice as long as the paint on ordinary steel.
Steel that is 100% recyclable and does not require erosion protection is Corten Steel. It is a sturdy, dependable, and environmentally friendly steel. Weathering steel can replace impregnated wood in some applications, and it requires little maintenance if it is not painted.
High-quality structural steel has a yield strength of 500 – 960 MPa and an elastic strength of 580 – 1000 MPa, making it ideal for long-lasting, solid, and light structures.
Weathering Steels / COR-TEN Steels are typically painted when used in structures and artwork, so they don’t need maintenance. When painted, the surface remains flawless for longer than conventional steel. If one scratches the surface, recuperating properties limit the spread of consumption under the paint.

First Sentence Game
I got tagged by @rauko-creates Thanks for including me in the fun! All my work here is Supernatural flavored.
Rules: share the first lines of ten of your most recent fanfics and tag ten people. If you have written less than ten, don’t be shy and share anyway.
Who's Lost Now (A Dean-centric crossover WIP between Supernatural and Doctor Who) Dean looked at the address and then at the surrounding townhouses. He was at the right place.
Saving Grace (A crossover between Dark Angel and Supernatural where Alec meets Bobby Signer) Alec was fed up with Max's crap. Ok, he was not a model employee at Jam Poney, but being a bike messenger sucked.
If I Could Do it Again (Angsty one-shot about Jody's family life) Jody Mills was a no non-sense kind of person with a lot of empathy. This combination of character traits made her a good sheriff and a great mom.
To Love and to Hold (Fluffy one-shot with TFW set in the bunker) “Look what I found just outside the bunker!” Sam could hear the smile in Cas' voice.
Pillow Talk (Family feels set in season 8) Sam switched the light off coming out of the washroom and saw his brother going into an empty chamber at the end of the corridor. He smiled, shook his head a little, and started in the same direction as Dean instead of going back to his own room.
Shades of Villains (Supernatural Drabble) Nothing annoyed Alastair more than to be compared to Azazel. The prince of Hell was a fanatic.
The Mahaha Hunt (Weechesters on a hunt gone bad) In the Colorado mountains, it was cold in winter, but rarely that cold. The Winchesters had the worst luck, as usual, and it happened that John was tracking a rogue Mahaha, with his boys in tow, in the most atrocious weather this county had registered since 1985.
Taking Care of Me (Sick ficlet involving Soulless!Sam) Dean is seeing double and sweating like a soon-to-be slaughtered pig. He feels like one, too.
This Old House (Young Dean being the man of the house) I don’t like the house Dad found for us to settle in. It's old, it creaks all the time at night and it’s drafty.
Happy Freaking Birthday (Stanford Era Dean) Dean got back in his car and closed the door with a sigh. That poltergeist was a nasty son of a bitch.
Tagging a few people. Play or nay.
