✨When you get this ask you have to (not have to, only if you wanna) put 5 songs you listen to, post it, then send this ask to 10 of your favorite followers (positive vibes are cool)🎶
I'm not sure if this is currently listening, so I'm just going to put my liked songs on shuffle hehe:
Sometimes growing up feels so scary, you feel like a tall child , you wish you can just play with dolls and watch the tv in the living room again , as chaotic some old times feel there is always those calm moments , i remember when i was 5 playing with my doll infornt the tv at 11am , i still remember this exact memory so vividly and I don’t know why , it felt so peaceful to just sit and play alone , without no care in the world, i remember when i was 7 and my uncle took me to the toys store , I remember buying a pink pony since mlp was my favourite show ever , i remember when i was 8 playing with the big doll house my uncle bought for me ans my sister, i remember playing with dolls with my younger sister, i remember my older sister trying her new makeup on me , all of these memories feels so peaceful and calm , whenever i feel like my world is getting worse i remember i have these beautiful memories.
A soul could be kind, yet evil. Calm yet also chaotic.
However, there’s one thing that all souls share in common and it’s curiosity.
The curiosity to know, to explore, to reach out, to invent and so much more.
Curiosity is the birthplace of civilisation.
It is what led to the creation of Philosophy, Psychology, Science, Politics and all that shaped the world.
Souls are naturally wanderers, they wander every path, curious to know where it will take them and what it holds for them.
But, sadly, curiosity can also lead human beings to be violent, to kill, to rage wars and invade countries.
For me and for those I encountered or who’re currently in my life, in our own world, curiosity is about finding out our purpose in life, who we really are outside of society and outside the mindsets of our families and who we were conditioned to be.
Finding out how to take steps further towards creating our future.
“How, why, who and what”, those are the thoughts that constitute curiosity.
One thing no one can ever deny is that every living person shares those exact thoughts, some maybe more than others.
Love, didn’t just exist out of nowhere.
Imagine when the first human beings on earth felt something towards each other, but couldn’t comprehend what was happening, why their hearts would beat that fast, or why their stomachs would be so full of butterflies, and they would then be so curious to follow their hearts and this newfound “love”.
Those feelings for their loved ones didn’t stop growing until they realised they want to birth a life together, holding each other in their arms, till their very last day.
How splendid can curiosity be !
It gives life wonders, it establishes the present we’re living in and the future we’re going to witness. I’m curious to see how my life will be a month from now, a year from now or even 50 years from now.
Curiosity can be the spark that ignites the full spectrum of human emotions and actions, but it’s up to us to guide that flame.
I want my life to matter
I am afraid I have no purpose here
2. STFU! (Rina Sawayama)
Silence, finally in my head
But it’s too late, you already left
You’re preaching, even though I’m dead
3. Je me promets (Meryem Aboulouafa)
However fate goes,
if it lifts me high then sullies me with the ground
and my bones split
and my blood flows,
I promise myself I will revive my honor from the warm red ash
and blaze with my nothingness until life goes up in flames
4. Dig Me Out (Sleater Kinney)
Dig me out, dig me in
Out of this mess, baby, out of my head
Dig me out, dig me in
Out of my body, out of my skin
5. Nada (Lido Pimienta)
Yo te soy sincero
Y no le tengo miedo
A la muerte
Si es que me quiere
Aquí la espero de frente y sonriente
I’m honest with you
And I’m not afraid
Of death
If she wants me
I’ll wait for her here, facing her and smiling
6. Magnet (Bikini Kill)
You don’t own me, fuck!
You hold me down like a magnet
And this is not the life for me
7. I Bet on Losing Dogs (Mitski)
My baby, my baby
Tell your baby that I’m your baby
8. A Girl in Trouble (Is a Temporary Thing) (Deborah Iyall)
She's on the mend and knows that she's earned the scars and the lines
By and by - one step at a time
Her love can dazzle and delight - she transcends
Watchtower of Turkey from Leonardo Dalessandri on Vimeo.
More than 3500 km traveled in 20 days, capturing landscapes from the bluish tones of Pamukkale to the warm ones of Cappadocia, and passing by a great variation of colors, lights and weathers through six other cities.
I've crossed Cappadocia, Pamukkale, Ephesus, Istanbul, Konya; and tasted baklava, kunefe, doner, the turkish tea; and got the chance to meet the soul of Turkey, its people.. and got their smiles and their hospitality.
This is Turkey lived by me from north to south, and I hope you enjoy it :)
