I’m happy Simply Business’s reputation is “that one fic where Azul was so desperate to see tiddies.” Very fitting for our tiddy-appreciating tako. <3 now as for secretary Jade…… AAAAAAA SO MEAN!!!! The meanest eel!!! He’s so annoying. In the same breath he commended your work, he’ll also say something backhanded. The delivery sounds sincere, but the words are far from it. T-T

He does very little, seemingly unimportant things that make your life just a smidge harder. Your umbrella happens to go missing on the day it’s pouring outside. But who should happen to meet you in the lobby with his umbrella, offering to share like the kind coworker he is? Jade Leech. Or when your lunch disappears, empty containers turning up on your desk (washed and stacked neatly) later? Who should happen to invite you out for lunch at these opportune moments? Jade Leech. You can’t prove that he’s the one behind all of these mishaps, even if you certainly suspect it, so you can either agree or disagree with his offers in hopes that one day he’ll leave you alone. (Never going to happen.)

He’s definitely rifled through the (confidential) documents Azul has on file for you. He’s driven past your apartment before out of curiosity after learning the address. It’s a quaint place. He wonders if you’d ever want a roommate… :)

You’ve taken to hiding from him during lunch break (or any break for that matter). The first time you went down to the eternally empty break room on a few floors below and were startled to find Jade already there, lounging on a chair with his feet propped on the table. But then you looked closer and realized it wasn’t Jade. Apparently his twin brother works there on the janitorial staff. Since then, you’ve taken to eating your meals in the break room with Floyd. He frowned at you the first time you came down, empty-handed and starving, and went off to get you something. He seems oddly attached to your eating habits. Maybe he’s just worried you’ll give his brother more work if you aren’t fed. But sometimes you think he’s genuine… Who knows? It’s hard to read him and his intentions.

well 2/3 aint bad lol

and to be fair the f h one at least has alfred and timerra who are cool so. :/ (if this means solm soon im very hype bc i like those guys. they give me sheperds vibes. mom as the ghb would be fun too! gosh please)

but like. -go which for two years in a row has had extremely insensitive events that just revolve around the same unfunny joke of “riyo art is soOoo wacky XD” all of a sudden has an event that not only features a variety of artists but also isnt fucking making a joke out of real people losing their lives. good for you. theres still minor problems i have (like why have a difficulty spike on a game available for 24 hours, and minor gripes but thats more towards the game in general lol) but it was overall muuch better than previous years

and g-f. perhaps the most fucking surprising of all. has a cute collab w sanrio which is actually wholesome and sweet. ofc its the same characters as always but i dont mind so much bc i can write fun and bittersweet/emotional fics. same w go’s one.

and like. honestly. f-h could have been so much worse. im just irritated that the emotionally manipulative slimeball is the focus even tho its not even his year’s story just because he has a muscular physique and is a fan favorite. like idk. i love characters that are complicated, i love characters that are little bastards. but i love it when they are called out for it. like at least the author admits they are nasty or has underlying tones of “yea theyre sympathetic but you dont really wanna see them succeed bc it means they are giving up on their decency and morality/mercy/ect”. or like. you’re enjoying watching them be awful and thats fun bc everyone is a jerk. but like in f-h they have so many nasty characters, a guy who wants to marry his sister off to her abusers and has no problem kidnapping and forcing into labor poor children but throws a moral fit if he accidentally kidnaps a rich kid, a person so obsessed with their first love that they perpetuate a failing government and manipulate an abused child through his fear of abandonment to essentially lead to his adopted brother’s death just so she can get the kid descendant of her first love in charge of a country she doesnt even want to be in charge of, and theyre all seen as sympathetic and likeable by the series creators and bc they dont fucking think a big majority of the fans.

A Ga-Matoran archer from the Northern Continent.

Whilst in her village, Merra sprouted a budding interest in combat and engineering, often building motors for fishing boats and commencing formal combat training under the instruction of her local Toa. At this time in her life, she aspired to one day reach Metru Nui and lend her hand as a mechanic in Le-Metru. She was often found along the outskirts of her neighboring Matoran settlement, honing her agility by swinging through trees and mastering the terrain.

I realized it's another fic where Rook Hunt proves himself to be the best wingman once again. He just likes seeing love blooming from unusual situations. The story involves captive Azul (who was thought to be the last of his species) being paired with you (a recently captured octo-mer). Even though the two of you are biologically compatible, both of you want nothing to do with the other. T_T so researchers Rook and Jade take it upon themselves to help the two mers get closer together. <3 things sure do happen hehehehe.

YES YES YES YES YES YES NO ONE ELSE HAS SAID ANYTHING!!!!!! BUT YES THAT IS ABSOLUTELY THE IMPLICATION!

Cause here's the thing...and Epel mentions this...if Vil wanted to, he could do anything he wanted. One post on social media, one call to someone in the government, one paycheck, and he could have fixed our entire situation. But he didn't. Instead he made excuses, and told us we were only safe hiding in his home, and helped us raise our son, far away from the outside world, and anyone else who could help us.

Now, if Vil survives the attack from Epel, things are probably going to get much worse for you. Because, like it or not, you're going to be suspicious of him. He won't be sure how to proceed really, but you better hope he's not able to track down Epel. Because Vil has already moved all your stuff into a room that locks from the outside.

It's Halloween on the Independence! Costumes + everyone's thoughts on the holiday below

From left to right:

Lilac (Poison Ivy) - Doesn't particularly care for Halloween but was informed in no uncertain terms that she WOULD be celebrating with The Gang. Her original idea of dressing like Bajoran Nightshade was shot down so she looked up "fictional botanists" and figured this was good enough.

CJ (Razputin Aquato) - Her brother is more into Halloween than her but she's down for an excuse to dress up. She wanted to ask Lilac to do a couples costume but thought that maybe that would be weird so instead she went with Raz because she loves Psychonauts. She insists it's the only work that "truly captures the psychic experience" and refuses to elaborate.

T'Vel (Witch) - Says Halloween is illogical but was dragged out by Quince to celebrate anyways. Quince gave her the hat knowing it was the only way to possibly get her to dress up. She says she only wore the hat to humor her friend and denies she matched her outfit to it.

CJ (Fairy) - LOVES Halloween and follows the time-honored tradition of using it as an excuse to dress sexy and binge drink. He does "fairy" every year with the same pair of wings and just pairs it with whatever outfit he wants to do that year.

Quince (Dracula) - Thinks Halloween is fun and insists that it's celebrated on the Independence every year. She finds great joy in finding the worst, cheapest looking costumes to replicate. Every item of clothing in this costume is thin and stiff and scratchy at the same time.
